also thinking of house's relapse and coach beard (bc i will always think of beard in any capacity), and i do think......if beard remains in richmond with jane, cut off from ted and any other support system he could have (because with ted out of the picture, jane will most likely focus on cutting out the other people in his life, furthering his isolation because that is what abusers do), there is a very strong chance he Will relapse, especially taking into account his drug use had drastically increased throughout the show. he uses their bus driver as his dealer and refers to shrooms as "my medicine". he and jane frequent club scenes, where club drugs (such as stimulants) are highly available, jane is a fellow drug user (i presume just psychedelics, but again, being a club scene partaker alongside beard, who knows) who has left out drugs for beard to take in the past............beard being overwhelmed by coaching (Which historically has been a hard thing for him to grapple with, see: beard after hours) and jane and the pregnancy/baby, and not having his best friend who has been an anchor for him for the past thirty years.................i do not think it'll end well for him.

playing on very hard difficulty, so I've brought Codsworth along instead of Dogmeat, which i never do, and I know they're polite in intention, but so many of Codsworth's lines are incredibly bitchy if your personal interpretation of your character and Codsworth's relationship is that Codsworth hates their guts

where is the.. like.. line.. between ‘person with mental health issues who self medicates’ and ‘addict’
cause the first isn’t necessarily addicted, right?
is it about how much of the drug you use? how often? whether you crave it, or if you can function without it?
i’ve been craving drugs i’ve never even taken for years, so like... not that. i kind of walked the line for a long time. im worried now though. because it has become extremely difficult to wean myself off of the ambien i was given and i only have 9 tablets left. no more after that. and i’ve been taking it earlier and earlier, middle of the day yesterday, at a higher dosage than i was prescribed. all day today i feel like my brain is hollow. like i need to take it again, or ill be bored and sad all day. is this where the line is crossed lmao

I was a former Florida Department of Corrections Prisoner
My names DJ, im 25 years old and trying to change to become a better man for society and I don’t want my past to define who I was and who I am now. I made stupid choices and I aint proud of it at all. Im not bragging or proud of my decisions from my past. Im not proud or happy with myself for what I’ve done and the things I’ve done evil to society and my friends and family and also causing my beautiful girlfriend to cry every couple days when she was waiting for me to come back home because she needed me and missed me. I never forced her to stay by my side while I was in prison. I never forced her on it and I told her she didn’t have to stay by me because I was a piece of shit and I was putting her through shit and I knew that man I felt bad and I still feel bad for what I’ve done and I don’t ever want to do that again. I want to be a motivator to society now I want to change I want to do right I want to be the change in the world and pay it all back to society and prove myself for the better. I want people to know not all of us who have been to jail or prison are bad people. We can change and prove ourselves for the better forreal. I know the chances of that are slim as fuck but I want to be that percentage that can change and do right for those who love me and care about me. Drugs aren’t cool and neither is dying from overdosing knowing you probably took too much and were aware. Having to narcan your friends aint cool. I’ve seen people get stabbed and killed in prison. I’ve been abused and assaulted by FLDOC Correctional Officers. I’ve been there, done that. I kept my mouth shut or they would try to abuse me and put me in confinement for 60 days if I ever backtalked them. I’ve seen things and heard things and it aint cool. Be the change. So good in life. Im not proud of my choices but im grown now and im changing everyday to do right and prove myself. I doubt anyone will read this or see this but if you got a question, I turned my inbox on.

Inpatient Rehabilitation: Rediscovering Independence and Vitality
Tumblr media
Welcome to the transformative world of inpatient rehabilitation, where healing is not just a process but a journey toward rediscovering one's independence and vitality. In the fast-paced realm of healthcare, inpatient rehabilitation stands as a beacon of hope for individuals seeking a comprehensive and immersive recovery experience.
Unveiling the Essence of Inpatient Rehabilitation
What is Inpatient Rehabilitation?
Inpatient rehabilitation refers to a specialized form of care where patients reside within a healthcare facility, receiving round-the-clock support and therapeutic interventions. It's not just about treating the ailment; it's about empowering individuals to regain control over their lives.
Breaking Down the Stigmas
Beyond the Stereotypes: Why Choose Inpatient Rehabilitation?
Personalized Care: Unlike conventional outpatient care, inpatient rehabilitation offers a tailored approach, recognizing that each patient is a unique entity with distinct needs.
Holistic Healing: Inpatient rehabilitation goes beyond symptom management, embracing a holistic philosophy that addresses physical, emotional, and social aspects of recovery.
The Rehabilitation Journey
A Day in the Life
Ever wondered what a day in inpatient rehabilitation looks like? Picture a supportive community akin to a small village where each member plays a vital role in the collective well-being.
Sunrise Warm-ups: Jumpstarting the Day
Kickstarting the day with sunrise warm-ups is not just a routine; it's a symphony of movement, promoting flexibility and fostering a sense of collective determination. It's like tuning instruments before a grand performance, setting the rhythm for the day ahead.
Therapeutic Carousel: A Multifaceted Approach
Imagine a therapeutic carousel where each ride is a different modality – physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, all seamlessly interwoven. Like a carousel, it spins patients through various exercises, ensuring a dynamic and engaging recovery experience.
The Team: Your Guiding Constellations
Meet Your Rehabilitation Constellations: The Multidisciplinary Team
In inpatient rehabilitation, your recovery journey is guided by a multidisciplinary team, each member a shining star in your constellation. From physiotherapists to psychologists, these professionals work collaboratively, pooling their expertise to create a tailored roadmap to your recovery.
The Perks of Inpatient Rehabilitation
Immersive Healing Environment
Why Facility Living Matters
Community Support: Inpatient rehabilitation facilities foster a sense of community. It's like living in a supportive neighborhood where everyone understands and respects the journey towards recovery.
Cutting-edge Facilities: Inpatient rehabilitation facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and amenities. It's like upgrading from a flip phone to the latest smartphone – a leap forward in terms of capabilities and possibilities.
Tailored Rehabilitation Plans
Not One Size Fits All: Tailored Treatment Plans
Say goodbye to generic treatment plans! Inpatient rehabilitation crafts a roadmap specifically for you. It's akin to having a customized GPS guiding you through the twists and turns of your recovery journey.
Personalized Goals: Your rehabilitation goals are not generic checkboxes. They are crafted with your aspirations in mind, ensuring that each milestone achieved is a step closer to your unique destination.
Overcoming Challenges with Tenacity
Roadblocks: Turning Them into Stepping Stones
Embracing Setbacks: A Lesson in Resilience
In the landscape of recovery, setbacks are not roadblocks but stepping stones. Inpatient rehabilitation instills resilience, teaching individuals not to fear falls but to rise stronger with each stumble, like a phoenix from the ashes.
The Emotional Rollercoaster
Navigating Emotional Terrain
Recovery is an emotional rollercoaster, and inpatient rehabilitation acknowledges the highs and lows. It's like having a sturdy safety harness, providing support during the ups and ensuring a soft landing during the downs.
The Aftermath: Beyond the Rehabilitation Horizon
Graduation Day: A New Beginning
Caps, Gowns, and a Reclaimed Life
Graduating from inpatient rehabilitation is akin to donning a cap and gown. It's not just a symbolic gesture; it signifies the commencement of a new chapter, a testament to the hard work and determination invested in the journey.
Post-Rehabilitation Support: The Safety Net
Beyond the Facility Walls: Continuous Support
Inpatient rehabilitation doesn't end at graduation. It extends beyond the facility walls, weaving a safety net of support. Think of it as having a lifeline, ensuring that even after you spread your wings, there's always someone to catch you if you stumble.

Conclusion
Inpatient rehabilitation is not just a destination; it's a transformative journey. It's about rediscovering independence, vitality, and the sheer joy of living life to the fullest. So, if you find yourself at a crossroads in your recovery, consider the immersive world of inpatient rehabilitation – where setbacks become stepping stones, and every day is a step closer to a rejuvenated you.
