UQUIZ (don't kill me i can't take a screenshot)
bread being cooled on the stovetop.
you are the gentle soul who will welcome everyone into their hearth and home so long as they don't make a deliberate mess of it. you're the porch grandma who offers fresh squeezed lemonade on the hottest day of the year, free of charge. you're the little kid who says the kindest thing when someone needs it, because you don't know what to do elsewise to being honest and blunt. you're the college kid who doesn't get mad at retail workers because those same people were just in your class the other day, half passed out, and they almost cry at the tip you're finally able to leave. you're warm and soft and gentle, and you bring people to you with the feeling of belief and hope.

Taylor Swift Wolfstar songs day 7
Todays song is Red, thank you @droptheknife for the suggestion! It is pov Remus and discussed the pitfalls of being in love with Sirius Black.
Faster than the wind, passionate as sin, ending so suddenly
For Remus, loving Sirius was being swept up in a whirlwind of emotion and then suddenly losing it all.
Loving him is like trying to change your mind Once you're already flying through the free fall
It was impossible for Remus not to be in love with Sirius, even though he tried.
Losing him was blue, like I'd never known Missing him was dark gray, all alone Forgetting him was like trying to know Somebody you never met
loving Sirius was an experience Remus had never had before but losing him was something that almost broke him. Trying to forget and hate Sirius after he betrayed Remus in the war was impossible because the boy Remus loved would never have done what they said Sirius did.
Touching him was like realizing all you ever wanted Was right there in front of you
When they fell in love Remus realized that Sirius was everything he needed, Sirius was everything to him.
Regretting him was like wishing you never found out That love could be that strong
After losing Sirius, Remus wished he had never known what it was like to love Sirius or be loved at all because losing it all shattered him.
Remembering him comes in flashbacks and echoes Tell myself it's time now gotta let go But moving on from him is impossible When I still see it all in my head In burning red Remus tries to forget Sirius, even when all of his best memories are tainted by Sirius. He tries to move on from the traitor of his past but he can never stop loving Sirius because their love was a fire that never stopped burning.
this song is so Wolfstar and can be related in a lot of ways. It reminds me most of after Remus thought Sirius had betrayed him to Voldemort. It could also convey how Remus might have felt being with someone like Sirius, whose whirlwind personality swept you up in an emotional roller coaster but was known to leave you behind, head spinning, without a thought.

Good shoot here.  They are after the officer because she shoots competitively.  Let that suing attorney try a Tueller drill if he doesn’t think the guy could cross that distance faster than most people can get off a shot.  Good job Officer McBride.

Sit-Down and Drop the Knife to Save a Life.
Sit-Down and Drop the Knife to Save a Life. "In my experience, I found that sometimes in order to know where we are heading we first need to know where we have been. History not only helps to provide those answers, but it can also with a little outside the box thinking provide us with answers to some of today's problems."
Most of my time is taken up campaigning for criminal justice reform, especially within our prisons. Rather than tell people what to think, I try to influence howthey think. I do this by sharing my experiences and perspective from both the negative and positive aspects of my life.  However, in my spare time, I research and write about organised crime (without glorifying it) mainly from an…

#DROPTHEKNIFE
To add more effect to my final I added a white wall behind it. This makes it look more real as it would be on a wall. I think the purpose behind my project and the thinking behind it for short/long term is great. I do feel there could be more done to the image as I do feel it is missing something. Maybe if I made more sets with different colours and designs which would be drawn up in other areas. Overall I am happy with the outcome and enjoyed this project from start to end.

The Moment The Met Police brought a 🇳🇬🇬🇧 police officer to speak at a church about Youth, Parenting & Knife Crime. They'll listen to him & he'll empathise with them cos he understands them. You can imagine him stopping a black teen in London, he wont need to be heavy handed cos he understands the kid. The kid will also most likely behave cos d copper looks & sounds like his dad & uncle telling him off. The community will trust this guy far more than a white officer. #metpoliceuk #knifecrime #droptheknife #saynotoknifecrime #staysafe #communitypolicing Via walegates https://www.instagram.com/goldmynetv/p/BqXPbiFFTwI/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1c5a9p4cmxij8

Knife Crime in the Community
In the last couple of months there have been a number of incidents of stabbing and knife crime across the borough. Thankfully, none of these have resulted in a fatality.
While the number of knife crime incidents in Lambeth has actually fallen over the last twelve months, this is a problem that still blights too many of our communities and we wanted to reassure residents that our Cabinet lead Cllr M. Seedat and officers have been working closely with the police and a number of measures have been taken. These include;
Extra officers at schools Extra patrolling officers in hot spot areas Meetings with head teachers, facilitated by Lambeth Council Dispersal zones implemented at key schools Working with key community contacts to try to dissuade young people from participating in further altercations Intelligence-led use of stop and search to recover knives and other weapons Requested additional police resources to provide a deterrent and reassurance
With regards to the schools in the Norwood area, Lambeth has been working with the schools affected and there has already been meetings between the heads, council and police which has led to the simmering down of tensions. These initial meetings, plus several others between council officers, police, and councillors will aim to set out some longer term partnership work with the GLA, the Young Lambeth Coop, grassroots organisations and the police.
If you have any questions or concerns please get in touch.

On March 31st this year (sounds better than a few days ago) I made my debut as a writer/contributor to an excellent website, owned and managed by someone that has become a close friend, Jim.
Jim, is bringing together, in one place, definitive information from the city of London which has some incredible crime history. A history that is full of real life escapades, robberies, murders and other stories of criminal intent. However, just as with the other website I write for, National Crime Syndicate where we have the aim of being the main information portal for all Mafia related subjects, our intention is not to glamourise crime. We take a totally unbiased view of London’s crime history, historic places and provide links to sites full of information & history. We also show you some great place to visit that you may or may not have heard of!
Set yourself up for some amazing days out in London. You can check out the places to visit first to ensure you plan your day well in advance. Visiting London doesn’t have to be all about the popular tourism stuff and tourist attractions, and you can spend considerable time doing alternative tourist attractions and other terrific things to do on your visit. We make no judgement, although! I can personally recommend no better than:
www.gangstertoursuk.com
We provide links to websites of interest along with an A to Z, plus books or DVD’s of relevance. We leave it for you to decide on the guilt, or the innocence! of any of the cases on our site. ( You may not be aware of some of the stories. So, if old London criminal history is something that intrigues and fascinates you? You may even want to research stories/crime history. Either way,  you will find plenty of links to news articles, websites of interest, YouTube videos, books and DVD’s, plus much more to satisfy the enquiring mind.

I am also pleased to add, that Jim, londoncrime.co.uk, the other contributors and myself, all support a fantastic charity and initiative in the important #DropTheKnife campaign. The charity is:
I have extracted the following from their website, which can be found at https://kofficialdotcom.com/the-kofficial-foundation/

Our Aim
For years the UK and numerous other countries has had to deal with austerity measures brought in by governments which inevitably has been passed onto local councils and authorities. This has meant a decrease in public funding for the youth of today. In essence this has created a lack of public services to enable children to reach their full potential and resulted in gang warfare, knife crime and gun crime at an ever evolving rate thus destroying communities at the core. Our aim is to revive and help set up programs within the local communities and help gyms to enable these youngsters to come off the streets to learn discipline, self-defence and nutrition. To be part of a family, teach them respect and hopefully make a change and inevitably produce future generations of world champions.
Together we can make this possible.
From the drop-down menu on my home page, you can access my articles that I have contributed to the National Crime Syndicate. In time I will also provide the same for the articles I write for Jim and the wonderful team we have at London Crime. I will, however, include links at the end of this blog.
The first subject I wrote about for Londoncrime.co.uk, was about an old school villain, named Arthur Harding – my second subject will be just as interesting – regular readers of my blog will know that I am actively involved in campaigning for better conditions in our prisons, along with better opportunities and well-funded support agencies to help individual’s rehabilitation journey – rehabilitation is a long-term process and not a destination –  and these opportunities and agencies are equally available, in, and out, of our prisons.
Arthur Harding started writing his autobiography (I almost put his own autobiography, hahaha), coincidentally in the year I was born, 1969. I was taken aback by how close Harding was to being the Nostradamus, of not only the East-End but, also, of our penal system, some fifty years (gulp) later. This is a slideshow of the preface page from Arthur’s book titled, ‘My Apprenticeship to Crime’ as featured in my piece for London crime. Link to the full article here>  Arthur Harding/London Crime.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
See what you think for yourselves. I find what Arthur says about our prison system extremely prophetic.
