Why would you want to wear something that restricts your breathing, compresses internal organs, and weakens your chest and back muscles?

First and foremost, you seem to be getting a waist trainer mixed up with a custom fit corset vest made specifically to fit comfortably.

Second, one evening in a garment, no matter how theoretically restrictive, ain't gonna hurt me, I'm in fine shape for my age.

Third, if someone's gonna roll out the red carpet and name you and your friends the guests of honour for the evening, wouldn't you wanna look your best, too?

Burying my face in the blankets to get a hint of his scent after he's left. (And noting how much he liked the lilac perfume I wore.) Dreamily thinking of how good he looked today, showing up for our date in a suit. (Dayum fine, smoking hot, and totally worth me dressing to the nines.) Remembering the smile and absolute wonder in his eyes as we discovered new things about each other this afternoon and evening. (And how much he liked his small gifts.)

Thinking about how though it's barely been three months, it feels like we've known each other a lifetime. But the paradox is, it also feels like there's never enough hours together. (I want to fall asleep next to him for a whole night. And see what he's like in the morning.)

Knowing that even though our schedules are about to change, and we'll be seeing less of each other for a little while, we will figure it out. We will carve out time for each other, and cherish what we get. And gods, I love him so much.

Okay but like... we have holo!Julian in the more tealy blue uniform straight out of Dr Bashir I Presume, makes sense. And maybe the intent of putting Garak in more typical, brighter LWD medical blues was to emphasise the different universes thing? but I look at the contrast in their uniforms, I look at Garak being the one wearing the jumpsuit with the deeper vee at the neckline, in very prominent, non-muted blue, and i think about all the fics I have read and I'm just like. do they know
