Trembling hands

Touching again Johnny’s gun felt weird. Violet’s hands, usually so comfortable with a weapon in them, were trembling as she raised the gun.

No more muscle enhancements to help her raise up the heavy piece of metal.

No more Kiroshis, to guide her aim.

No more ballistic implants, to tell her when to recharge.

Focusing on the human silhouette of the target was harder than expected, with those useless eyes Kurt loved so much.

And when her vision got blurred with tears she simply left the gun back down on the counter.

“A fucking fighter… Can't even aim properly…” She whispered to no one.

“Raise it up again, Vio”. She heard Johnny’s soft voice on the earphone.

She wiped out the tears, taking the gun back in her trembling hands to raise it up again.

“You can't see me or feel me, but I'm right behind you. My hand on yours. If you can't aim I'll lead you. Close your eyes, Violet.” She closed her eyes at his words "Now breathe with me”.

She heard him breathing and followed his breath, inhaling deeply, the air filling up her lungs, to keep it there for a few long moments and then letting it out.

Slowly.

“Open your eyes, Violet”.

She opened her eyes, her hands steadier than before.

“Aim”. Eyes on the target, her hands moving accordingly.

“Shoot”.

“Kurt…” Violet whispers moving slightly in her sleep. The blue glow disappears in Kurt's eyes as he turns to watch her.

She's lying next to him, in the ample bed they share, her hand softly abandoned over her head, the naked body covered by the light silk sheet. He observes the slightly accelerated breath filling her chest and escaping her open lips, as a smile creeps on his face. He reaches her body, tracing the scar on her chest with a light touch of his Realskinn hand.

“My god, Violet…” He whispers, almost inaudible, as she instinctively arches her body to meet his touch. He moves slowly his hand over her belly and between her legs uncovering her body. His fingers explore her, careful not to wake her up, as a moan escapes from her mouth.

“Damn, what you make me do”. He whispers, moving on top of her. He leans forward, over her, softly whispering in her ear as he enters inside her with a slow movement:

“Even in your dreams you're mine”.

Breeze

Violet follows Aon in the freezing forest. Snow all around them, as they walk among the old and tall trees. A freezing wind hits Violet's face, carrying the snow from the ground and the trees. She's dressed up with technical clothes and an heavy coat and hat, but the cold wind seems to find every invisible opening in her clothes to freeze her to death:

“If I knew this was what you meant with training I’d never agree to it!”

She exclaims trying to stop her teeth from chattering.

“What did you expect? That I would have waited for the summer to toughen you up?” Aon answers with a sarcastic tone, “that's how we train here. And it's not even that cold!”

“Not that cold?!” Violet screams, “there's snow everywhere and this fucking wind is gonna freeze me to death!”

Aon explodes in a laughter turning to watch Violet’s angered and reddened face:

“This wind?! Violet, this is just a breeze!”

Thx for proving the point me and the other poster were making lol, but I only reply because I want one last badge of honor on my poll dramah saga, to close things nicely. These screens have mad pin-of-shame energy and I find that hilarious (just reply directly, if y'all are so invested to make a screen?), but only one side's doing it repeatedly, so no Schrodinger here.

Sooo... Does anyone know where those Goldrake fans that won against Supernatural went? I haven't seen a single peep from any of the osolemio shippers (have mercy I forgot the ship name). To say they were smarmily claiming to be the best to the point of attacking and telling to kys to anyone who didn't vote for osolemio, they said they were "taking over"... So uh, hello? Hellooo?

I went to a Bozja cluster farm with my american friend (<3 fren) and it was. So fun. So so fun.

Also it's almost first raiding day and i'm very very very hyped. I've barely held myself from jumping to pf this last week lmao I want to raaaaaid.

Hoping we can down M1S before reset. It sucks we had to delay so much this raid day due to people's irl issues. I'll probably try to cleanup fates as much as possible today, if i get to 100 with DRK and RPR today to finish off role quests that would be amazing thank you very much.

... I hate the idea of someone random healing me as tank, though. I guess i'll finish DRK tomorrow, when my friends are available.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard warrior armour sets, ranked

The warrior sets are probably about as inconsistent as the mage sets, however, I did find some pleasant surprises here. There are definitely some very unexpected looks here, especially for a class that typically plays it pretty safe.

6. Grey Warden

Sorry Warden players you still get the most boring armour sets in the game.

5. Shadow Dragons

This should be heavy plate with a dragon on it and it isn't, so I simply cannot rate it any higher. Also this reads way more rogue to me than warrior - rogues need all those pockets, what's a warrior want with them? Update on this: I am 99% sure I saw someone playing rogue (a saboteur even!) wearing this armour so is it a mistake? I AM CONFUSION.

4. Mourn Watch

It's solid but across all the classes Mourn Watch is by far the least consistent in terms of having a defined look - they're not even in the same shades of the same colours. If you put them on a runway as a collection it would be called inconsistent because they don't look like they go together. It's disappointing because if we went by Emmrich's fits I would have expected something MUCH different.

3. Veil Jumpers

I do really like this even if it's giving dwarven made more than Elvhenan made, which is what they're going for with all the Veil Jumpers sets. Could still use some colour though.

2. Lords of Fortune

I'm not going to lie to you: after my temporary blindness wore off this look filled me with glee. Even looking at it now makes me incredibly happy. It's not because it's good, necessarily, in fact it's one of the most hilarious armour sets I've ever seen, but it does make me happy. But intellectually I cannot rate it number one, no matter how happy it makes me and how much that inexplicable bull head on the crotch makes me laugh.

1. Antivan Crows

I am obsessed with this. It has it ALL - impeccable goth vibes, dramah, beautiful feathers, bits of draped fabric for no reason, absolutely dripping with crow motifs. If someone came running at me in this I would be scared but also delighted.

Another armour update: I've been watching a lot of in-game footage of quests and have noticed that being a particular faction does not necessarily seem to lock you into that faction's armour styles - for example I saw a Crow wearing the rogue set for Veil Jumpers. I don't think I was mistaken but definitely take this as a grain of salt if it doesn't turn out to be the case in the release.

I agree, the humans!AU could be satisfactory, if done good, but to me too it doesn't make much sense ending the story like that. It'd be weird to go big with Armageddon 2 and lots of supernatural and magic going on, only to have them powerless and mortals in the end. Kind of... Anticlimatic? A bit cliché for sure. People also forget that there is so much more at stake than Crowley and Aziraphale's subplot: David's comment was probably referring to the whole Second Coming story, which will be of greater importance than their love story and rightly so.

I think I'm in a minority and lordt knows I've been very wrong about stuff like this before, but I have zero concern that Good Omens will end with Aziraphale and Crowley being human. None. Not even one iota of worry about it happening.

Why?

Because Neil Gaiman is a really good storyteller. And he, as a really good storyteller, knows that would be an unsatisfying ending.

Obviously this is pure speculation on my part, but a really good storyteller doesn't go to the effort of constructing such an intricate story, in which the challenges and desires of having eternal life but not being able to share it with the one being you want to, are so carefully laid out only to have them end up mortal. Because then what? Crowley ends up back in hell anyway and maybe Aziraphale does too? Or they end up back where they started? Nah.

My guess is that it is not going to play out as a rom-com might (I mean, it's not a rom-com), or with anything particularly overt being shown between Aziraphale and Crowley, and any "it may not be the ending you want" is, in my mind, getting way out in front to manage expectations.

By the time season 3 airs we will have been consuming years of fanfic, fanart and fanon and of all people, Neil knows the way that begins to shift the expectations and hopes of a fandom. It's really easy to drift away from canon or forget the kind of show it actually is (and that's totally fine, gimme all the fics and art that take me to where I want my faves to be), but it also means that fandoms can end up "disappointed" that some of the fan thinking and creating didn't come to pass.

So mah point is, any comments from actors or creators about a season not being what we want- that doesn't mean it's going to be rubbish storytelling. It means that some of the things people are hoping for won't happen.

And until we see what actually plays out on our screen, I, for one, am going to keep immersing myself in the brilliant creativity of this fandom and just
