Dr Althea Cica Skin Calming Pad *gifted Received these toner pads from @dr.althea_sg and been using them for about 3 weeks now. I was originally a lil bummed to see the size of the pads - they’re really small and my face is pretty long and big; and I thought “oh boy how many will I need each time?!” But I was actually pretty surprised at how hydrating and soothing each pad is. It’s not dripping at all but my skin is so soothed after, I sometimes end up with a big pause in my routine because I’m so comfortable 😂 There’s 65 pads per tub and they come with a generous amount of essence. The tub is pretty sturdy (read: no leaks 🥳) and compact compared to some bulky pads so I’ve been keeping them on my table and reaching for them. The pads are double sided - embossed for exfoliation and smooth side for toning. It contains 85% Cica extract and you can see just how much my redness comes down in 1 use. The pads have a slightly herbaceous scent from their ingredients which I really enjoy 🌱 Some key ingredients are EOs (grapefruit, tea tree, lemon, rosemary), ceramides, green tea and HA for hydration, soothing and barrier healing. Dr. Althea water glow skin renewal hydrogel mask 💫Claims: Whitening dual function mask & wrinkle improvement. 💫Some ingredients: chondrus crispus powder, lactobacillus ferment, scutellaria baicalensis root extract, green tea leaf extract, artemisia leaf extract, houttuynia cordata extract, castor seed oil, allantoin, adenosine, sodium hyaluronate, hydrolyzed collagen, jasmine flower extract, propolis extract, snail secretion filtrate, jojoba oil and coconut oil. 💫Scent & fit: it has a subtle floral scent, very pleasant. The fit is great! I've recently been introduced to some excellent Korean Skincare products by Dr. Althea. Their Cica Skin Calming Toner contains 85% Cica Extract, and Sodium Hyaluronate which is very soothing for my skin. I have combination skin with rosacea. I have a love/hate relationship with this cushion from @dr.althea_official . The finishing, the feel and the tone of this cushion look and feel really nice on the skin (didn't have any irritation while using this on my sensitive skin) . This is a nude finishing cushion (not flat matte finishing...) . This look nice on my dry skin for like about 2/3hrs... but the "oil-control" of this cushion kinda make my skin feel dry (I have dry skin) . This cushion is more suitable for normal to oily (combination) skin. . Dr. Althea everyday pore control charcoal mask. 🌱Claims: The masks can help in hydrating, refreshing skin, and removing spots and anti-aging. By adding the best quality of charcoal of South Korea, the mask can help to absorb the dirt and heavy metal from the deepest layer of the skin, thus helping to clean your skin. Oil-water balance, removing spots, shrinking pore sizes can thus be achieved 🌱Some ingredients: water, butylene glycol, punica granatum fruit extract, mushroom extract, wheat amino acids, sodium hyaluronate, charcoal powder arganine, allantoin & fragrance. 🌱Smell: Right after opening it I could smell a little bit of earthy tones not over powering which I guess come from the mushrooms in the ingredients. But the smell is a little flowery, very subtle fragrance. 🌱Essence: thick essence almost serum like but not sticky since it dries quickly. 🌱Fit: the fit is perfect not too big or small around the eyes and mouth and you can fix out without any problems. 🌱Results: face felt bright and moisturized. Not clearer since it was just 1 mask, but will test the sebum control tomorrow when I wake up.
