Sydney - (1) ancient magical texts that she hasn’t gotten around to digitising yet. (2) Declan’s favourite toy. (3) both her own and Adrian’s wedding bands, she knows he’d likely forget it and would never forgive himself if he lost it in the fire

Adrian - (1) painting supplies, luckily all organised in a caddy that Sydney insisted on buying him so he didn’t keep everything scattered across his studio. (2) his favourite painting he’s done of Sydney, he’d be absolutely devastated to lose it. (3) the “thank you Mr Ivashkov” card his students handmade for him after his first year of teaching

Jill - (1) a framed pair of her childhood ballet shoes. It’s been years since she danced and she was awful, but she knows how much her mother sacrificed to be able to afford lessons and it’s a nice connection that they share. (2) her favourite gown that Lia gifted her after her modelling gig. (3) a locket given to her by Lissa as a way to make amends and start the process of healing their friendship as sisters

Eddie - (1) his prized copy of Raptorbot. (2) the business card of a psychologist that he’s been putting off making an appointment with (3) his silver stake, you never know if the fire was set by political rebels or strigoi sympathisers trying to lure the royals outside the wards and god knows he’ll do absolutely anything to keep Jill safe
