Introducing BonBon (he/her), my new Telesthesia & Dragon Du Xiaoju 💙

He's SO gal. I was shooting for gyaru, but I didn't think I would hit it this hard. It's funny, because every other doll of his sculpt i've seen is so much more demure looking with sweet, innocent eyes, and then Bon is out here with his bad-girl gyaru vibes. I think if all the Telesthesia Du Xiaojus had a party, he would be drunk and all the others would be like, "who let HER in here?"

I love him, your honor. He makes me sick with happiness 💙

This was also a faceup I did for myself on a secondhand Telesthesia & DragonDoll Long Tianqi in normal pink. He arrived wit ha company faceup that made him look vampiric, but I wanted to shell a dragon, so redone he got!

The scales are super shiny and shimmery, which I love to do. He's not only a dragon, but also a pirate captain of a flying ship. The red dragon eyes were also made by me.

They have arrived—Mary and Byron’s vampire heads are here! Here are a couple of Mary’s tooth plates. I really want fangs put into the one with her tongue out. Byron’s head came with horns! I was so surprised, I thought those were an additional cost. Not sure if I’ll keep them or not. If I did, I’d paint them all black but they might get chippy. Any modders out there have recommendations for me? Dye perhaps? Check out the fanciest coa I’ve ever seen, jeez. Hi, I’m not dead (just sort of...)

Got my birthday doll at last, but she arrived with a broken finger and the wrong bust size. At least I was able to re-attach the finger, flip the magnets in the ears, and AC made sure I get a replacement hand and the right bust. 

She’s really stunning in person!

Finally got around to blushing one of the Angel Pico dragons (they are such a bright yellow) and I have to say, the freckles are my favorite part of this face up. Made the eyes even and I dont think they turned out to bad for my 1st try.

Found some night lolita stuff on ebay and got the entire lot just for this lol. Obviously too small for him, but I wanted to try since dragon doll stopped making their clothes mid wait back when I ordered a Tang Yao. Just wanted something Chinese for them both. Maybe get away with it?

Sorry for his extras being ridiculous. Buddy needed cheering up, and this was the fastest way to do it 😅😂

So, I went to Bde Maka Ska, which is absolutely GORGEOUS. And I managed to find some places that weren’t overrun with people to take a few doll photos.

Gavi is way too photogenic, Lou just looks like a confused/curious puppy no matter what pose I put him in, and Nolan was as moody/introspective as ever.

And some of you who have been watching my photos might have noticed Nolan’s left eye is different. That’s no accident, his character has one eye that looks like that of a demon. Normally he uses magic to hide it and make his eye look normal, but when he’s tired or not around people, he drops the spell.

My oldest doll, Dragondoll Cheng from 2009, got a body upgrade from his default 72cm V1 Uncle body to an IoS Class80 body. This head predates the merger of Telesthesia and Dragon Doll.

Even though both are white skin, Mort has turned the shade of butter over the last 12 years, so I had to color match him.

I'm glad I decided to give him scales along the sides of his face. And for the first time since I wiped his default faceup in 2012 he has eyelashes again. He also needed stronger eyebrows.

I did finally order him some pants off Etsy, in ID75 size, as the measurements look pretty close. Poor Mort is still wearing a shawl as a skirt. At least he's rocking it!

Line Up 03-27-18 by Iza's Face Up Shop Via Flickr: It was about time I did a new line up of all the dolls between my wife and I. 

There's 30 total ranging from 101cm to 5cm. I put the 101cm doll at the end of the SDs rather than the beginning as she's got the torso proportions of a slim MSD, but the head of an SD (I hybrided her).

 I did not take of shoes or wigs as it would have taken even longer then to set up the dolls and photograph them than it already did. I spent at least an hour on just taking the pictures! Finally I had to merge 3 images that had to be heavily edited to get rid of the camera lens curve and distortion. 

Sculpts and heights are all listed on the picture itself.

New head , it's a "practise head" I made in order to learn how to make nice fluff for hair . I'm happy with how it turns. So happy that now I consider making it a body, with a crazy amount of articulations, a bit like my "She is a dragon" by @spirit.imprint ( who make absolutely amazing and gorgeous dolls !!) This is an Asian Dragon head (between Shenron from DBZ and Haru from Chihiro ) for those who wonder if it's a strange pony or what ^^. I make a small challenge with my friend @l_oree_des_bois_bjd , each Sunday one of us choose 3 animals, and we have to make during the week something with one of these animals : head, doll, figurine... what we want, even if it's just sketches or big WIP. Last week I choose: Pink Flamingo, Crocodile , Dragon . This week, animals are : Rat, Sheep , Koala. You can join if you want , everybody is welcome ! Nothing to win, just motivation for création .
