Please…Don't forget me — Hey ho Folk! After like 2 Weeks on hiatus, I am finally back. It was not like, I didn’t do art in this time, but I was so busy with this art piece and look at that —- it’s finally finished.

And it looks so gorgeous. Definitely one of my favourite artwork of the year <3. Now about this piece: I really wanted to do a flowery portrait piece featuring a dragon or a unicorn. A while ago, I ran a poll on instagram and I was asking there, which one should I draw. Well it seems, dragon won.

Anyway, I also wanted do draw on a larger format, so I took my arches pad and started to work. 

I decided for asian dragon and the flowers I choose are forget-me-nots and hyacinths. 

Mainly, because the dragon looked a bit wistful and lonely… So a perfect fit for this mythical noodle. To round this artwork, I went with soft and cool colours. Although, it’s just a simple portrait, I really like it so much. Maybe it’s because of the details or the emotions that the dragon shows. I hope you enjoy this whimsical piece too :3.

This new year is supposed to be a very special one for me because I was actually born during the year of the dragon. And to commemorate, here's Frostbite, the winter dragon, starting off the new beginning breathing not hot flames, but freezing flurries! Hope those also born during the great beast of the zodiac's special time appeciate this piece. Happy 2024!

Dotted tree noodle ———— Good Evening Folks! A new week - A new artwork! And this time, it’s also a traditional art piece :D Horray. I am honest with you, I really missed doing traditional art. Although, digital is nice, I must say, the haptic feeling of traditional is something different. Maybe I am just like this. Like the feeling of texture and stuff. Anyway, I am honest with you, I have a lot of #scrawlrboxes laying around on my desk. It’s just, I hadn’t the energy to going them through. But this year I have some energy again and I picked random a box. And it was the #097 box, with the #frisk acrylic markers and I also did the #scrawlrchallenge Claws and Paws. What couldn’t be more fitting, than a cute and colourful tree dragon.

I liked to work with this Markers. When I am thinking about, I had always fun with acrylic markers. Also I really love this art piece. It’s so colourful and vibrant :). The Wyrm of the High Seas - Smaugust 2

I just discovered today that Midjourney has gone into open beta (three weeks ago already actually, but hey, I never said I was the most up-to-date person ;)) so I happily used my welcome credits for my first tries and ended up with this beautiful beast for my second Smaugust entry. It has been upscaled with another AI tool in addition to Midjourney, and I just had to make a few brushstrokes, lightening the plain black parts of the waves, adding the fin, eye, and stars, and fixing tiny details all over. I am quite happy with this result, the impressively intricate detail produced by this AI in particular is SUCH a timesaver.
