Nine months…

Slight focus shift from the hashira group and inserting other two characters that ended up being involved the story arc for the fantasy au c: Once they were fleshed out and finally introduced in the story, had to do a reference for them so here are the two bois c: They are based off of the two gods, Raijin and Fujin so took their original designs and mixed it into the god's designs to get something in the middle.

Sekido and Karaku are two brothers, the original idea that Zoh/Urogi/Aizetsu weren't going to be involved but that has changed so their initial designs hold aspects of their other sides (Sekido having Aizetsu and Zohakuten features, Karaku having Urogi's beads, etc) Sekido is the larger/older brother, god of lightning (Raijin). He's pretty tall at 10'3" and like his canon self is stern/arrogant/selfish and doesn't have company often. He resides in the northern region in a temple in the mountains where Gyomei is his temple guardian while he is away. Karaku is the god of winds (Fujin), and resides in the Southern region in his own temple. If not found there, he's often around Aizetsu and Urogi who act has his messengers (he's the nicer one of the two (Urogi and Aizetsu are tengu messengers)) so he's often roaming.

Ruka (Kyojuro's mother) was a sickly human and was saved when Shinjuro sacrificed one of his own tails to make her into a kitsune which later they ended up having Kyojuro and Senjuro. The later ended up being deathly ill, due to some unknown curse and Ruka came across Sekido by chance and pleaded with him to save Senjuro. In order to do so, she had to offer one of her own tails in trade which he agreed to break the curse and cure the boy considering that he was willing to listen to her. Now, he wears the tail around his belt as a reminder (also considering that kitsunes are very prideful of their tails).

With Obanai's curse the group goes north and meets up with Ruka who knows about Sekido and she leads the group to the god's temple to see if he's willing to help (also considering that Urogi is envious of Sekido's kitsune tail and steals something from Mitsuri so they're trying to track the tengu down as well to get the item back).

He refuses initially, but after both Shinjuro and Kyojuro offer their own tails he eventually agrees to assist and look into the reasoning as to why his soul is fractured.

I'll probably get around to doodling Urogi and Aizetsu, and maybe Ruka/Shinjuro. Zohakuten hasn't made an appearance yet, but we are leaning towards him being a higher entity/god like Orochi (dragons duh) but that could change c:

Also yes Mui and Gyomei are getting their own sheets eventually too - Gyomei was ??? for the longest time until it clicked and Mui just needs some refining/revisitng of the original idea!

A beautiful candy and a little pin.

After his brother leave for heaven, the house turned even more gloomy. He was always getting yelled at for even a smallest matter.

"useless son, why are you even here. If you want to leave me like your stupid brother did, just do it"

The words sting and hurt so much. Every day, ever since his mother died, his father has turn into a different person. However, his brother's word to take care of their grieving father embedded deeply in his heart. Everyday he pray that his father will eventually heal. He know his father is a good man.

Aside from Kamado, his brother's fellow hashira and his other siblings, often come to visit. Kanroji and Iguro. The sweet Kanroji who was his brother's tsuguko and Iguro who was rescued by his father. Both of them were still so close to him eventhough they didn't trained with his brother in their home front yard like they always do anymore.

Sometimes he couldn't stop himself from crying. He was still a child. What his father did was unfair. He crying alone and when the two see them, they often asked him out and take him to lunch.

"Hey, Senjuro kun, there's a new sweet stall opened in the town, we want to go there, you want to join?" Kanroji come and trying to comfort him. Her sweet gesture and soft voice remind him of his mother, Senjuro couldn't stop his tears.

"....i...i need to cook for my father" he glance at the love hashira's smile.

"Then, I'll help you cooking, plus..." kanroji come closer and whispered, '...he'll do nothing to you when I'm here, didn't he? Anddd after that let's go to the town, me and Iguro san having an off day today too . It's perfect!"

Iguro just standing there watching the two having a talk. He feel for Senjuro, and that's prolly why he often visit him aside from the fact that he, deep down hoping that shinjuro will comeback to his sense. For him, Senjuro is a bit quite kid, a total opposite of his brother, Kyujuro but he definitely matured and very intelligent. He saw him as his little siblings that he want to protect.

The three watching a stall owner sculpting candy into a various shape, fishes, flowers, dragon etc , a unique and meticulous process that Iguro really love to watch. He glancing at Senjuro who equally as invested in it.

"it's beautiful isn't it? " iguro asked him.

"...yeah, its pretty, how could people do this? It's amazing" the two keep discussing and asking the seller about the process while kanroji excusing herself, to go to the nearest stall to buy some hairpin.

"The process that make things like this is what make it more beautiful and precious. It's need a whole lot of training" Iguro bought three of the candy, dragon shaped candy for him, lions candy for Senjuro and sakura flowers for kanroji.

Senjuro just keep listening. Iguro always has a nice words to convey, that he always looking forward to it.

"it's may difficult and take a lot of time, Senjuro, but a continued effort will never betrayed you in the end...i believe Shinjuro san will be out of his slump eventually especially with you by his side. " Iguro slightly smiled.

"Aww sorry you two, there's a lot of people there, i could only snatch these hairpin and this cute flower pins" kanroji coming with her little run showing off her hairpins. She give one of her flower pin to Senjuro.

"as a lucky charm, hehe, take it"

Over the years, his relationship with his father seems to heal little by little, with many people helping , and Tanjiro who always looking up to him, he was able to communicate with his father better. His father has been mellow down a bit, redeeming himself, stopped drinking and dedicated his life by helping others.

Still, iguro words and kanroji sweet gesture remind fresh in his memory. He lost, yet another siblings and that sting but, their words and supporting gesture still freshly there in his memory.

Shinjuro keeping the pin Kanroji give him. ' a lucky charm, yes' his walk stopped at the candy store, with his eyes fixed on the amazing candy sculpting that the worker did. Senjuro smiled. 'Thank you, brother, send my regards to Iguro san and Kanroji san. I'm owing them a lot'

History : TLDR; parents were abusive and died of tuberculosis so she and her brother stowed away on a ship heading to Japan. When they got off Akaza found them and tried eating her little brother to which she immediately threw hands with him (she lost), Akaza respected her attempt and offered to make her a demon so he could train her, she did not accept but got lucky as the sun started to rise. Shinjuro found her after she got separated from her brother and he took her in, raising her alongside Kyojuro and later Senjuro and Iguro. She trained to be a slayer alongside Kyojuro and was disheartened when she couldn’t learn flame breathing, Eventually created her own breathing style after trying to learn every other available style there is. Each from embodies a style, her very last form embodies mist breathing but it hasn’t been perfected

Taisho Era Secrets:

Hannah loves cuddling up to Gyomei, he’ll stroke her head as if she’s a cat.

Both Hannah and Gyomei treat Genya like a son which the boy secretly likes, she was the first to figure out that he likes watermelon.

Hannah activated her mark at the same time Gyomei did but hers wasn’t on purpose.

Hannah and Gyomei died in each others arms after the final fight, Hannah dragged her body over to where Gyomei was propped up even though she was blind in one eye.

Obanai Iguro: Hogwarts AU

Obanai Iguro was a Pureblood wizard that was born on the 15th of September 1974 and started attending Hogwarts on the 1st of September 1986, being sorted into Slytherin House.

He was born into a family of only woman and was intended to be a sacrifice to a vampire which his family worshipped but she ended up taking a liking to his eyes and decided to let him grow up first.

He eventually escaped from his family home which caused the vampire to slaughter his whole family (one cousin survived) before she went out to hunt him down but he ended up being saved by the auror Shinjuro Rengoku who also ended up adopting him afterwards.

After he got adopted, he was a little wary around his adopted mother due to not having been treated nicely by a woman before but he did still acknowledge her as his real mother and mourned her death.

When he started attending Hogwarts, he felt like he betrayed his new family by getting sorted into Gryffindor's biggest rivals but they never judged him or treated him any differently for it.

He eventually met the Hufflepuff Mitsuri who was two years younger then him and after graduating from Hogwarts and starting their respective careers (auror and quidditch player), they joined the Order of the Phoenix together and got engaged but decided to wait to actually get married until after the war was over.

He and Mitsuri eventually participated in the Battle of Hogwarts where they helped take down the vampire Nakime before they perished in each others' arms right after the defeat of Muzan Kibutsuji.

He had a Blackthorn wand with a Dragon Heartstring core.

His Patronus was a White Snake.

His favorite subjects were Defense Against the Dark Arts and Care of Magical Creatures.

His least favorite subjects were History of Magic and Astronomy.

The tsugukos

well I think it is something that I should make clear,and in fact several hashiras were tsuguko and who are the current tsugukos before being hashiras so here we go

🔥Shinjuro tsugukos🔥 Shinjuro,just like in the canon,rescued Obanai and his cousin(currently her sister)and they were both adopted by the Rengoku family,and they renounced their last name,there in a more positive environment Obanai realized that she was a girl,and had everyone's support and affection,Obanai,Chihiro and Kyojuro were in the final selection at the same time,when Chihiro and Obanai were 13 and Kyojuro 12,and shortly after they became their father's tsuguko,the first to become hashira was Chihiro at 15-16,who became the dragon hashira,then it was Obanai who became the snake hashira a year after Chihiro Some time later when they were 19 and Kyojuro was 18,Shinjuro trained Mitsuri to be a slayer there met the Rengoku brothers and formed a strong bond with everyone,a little time later around 18,she became the love hashira,As with Giyuu and Makomo,Kyojuro is still her father's tsuguko

Well,unlike the canon,Muichiro and Yuichiro did go with Amane and asked Sabito if he could train them since she was considered a"child prodigy"(besides the fact that she saw how good a teacher she was along with Murata for Aoi)they were trained by Sabito,they were trained together with Aoi(and shortly after then Kanao,who was starting his training when the three went to the final selection),after passing the final selection,Muichiro asks Sabito if he and Yuichiro could be his tsugukos and she gladly accepted,since she became a kind of older sister figure for them.A little while later they became hashiras of mist and vapor,and shortly after passing the selection,Kanao became the tsuguko of Sabito and still is(An additional fact is that everyone including Murata has personalized fox masks that Sabito made and gave them)

🌾Murata tsuguko🌾 As mentioned before,Murata and Sabito were Aoi's teachers,and after passing the final selection she was named Murata's tsuguko although she is not very active and most of the time she is as a medical staff in the garden mansion,since the demons they still terrify her,but she does the best she can

🦋Shinobu tsugukos🦋

🫧ok,here it goes,I think this is going to be a little long,her first tsuguko was Ran(the girl with the hair up),she has a relaxed and carefree attitude,which upset shinobu a little that it seemed like she didn't she wouldn't take anything seriously,she met her when she was recovering in the garden mansion,the reason why she became her tsuguko was because despite Ran's attitude she was very intelligent,cunning and perceptive🫧

🐞Then in a very short period of time Yuka arrived(the girl with short hair)she has a bit of a tsundere and stubborn attitude which made her clash with Shinobu,she agreed with her because she is Ran's friend and She was the one who gave it to him, and that is the only reason why she was named her tsuguko🐞

🌼And in the end, when Ran and Yuka had been Shinobu's tsuguko for a few months, Kasumi (the girl with the ponytail) has an outgoing and playful personality, which sometimes made Shinobu nervous, she met Shinobu on a mission. where she was very impressed by her great strength and how brave she was, so they named her as their tsuguko, the three of them living together, but after turning one year old, they began to leave🌼

First one was Yuka retired when she met a slayer at a mission fell in love and soon got married,currently she and her cuple have a wisteria house,then it was Ran,who after a mission,received some serious damage to her organs,especially her lungs,but she did not retire from Demon Slayer Corp,but instead became a kakushi(she and Goto are good friends),and in the end Kasumi,because on a mission she had to use the 7th form of flewer breathing left her almost blind,and like Ran,she was very hurt and currently she no longer does field missions and now supports as a medical staff in the garden mission
