This is my favorite shot of DA: Absolution. Tassia lost her love two times over - to death and to evil. And Miriam lost Hira. And Rezaren lost Miriam and Neb. And they lost him sometime long ago, without even truly having him at their side.

I don't get the "can't believe Miriam forgive Hira that easily after not forgiving Rezarem" take.

People need to understand that the relationship between Hira-Miriam and Miriam-Rezarem are so fucking different. The latter is one-sided sense of family and ownership where one was a fucking slaver who made up a relationship with a slave. The first is romantic relationship. They loved each other, Miriam was ready to forgive because she loved Hira and she could see that she had some good yet twisted intentions behind her actions.

Now with that said. Hira did fucked up. She was about to sell Miriam back to slavery just to get vengeance. That's fucked up and yes, maybe in a "totally logic brain" that is not a forgivable thing. But then again, Miriam and Hira were in love. They knew eachother. And Miriam was willing to forgive because the same way her trauma shaped her, she knew Hira's trauma has shaped her as well. And if Miriam can heal, then why the fuck Hira couldn't?

In my opinion? They should not get back together even if maybe they make amends. Their relationship, in a romantic level, its permanently severed and damaged and there is no turning back to the "before" there was after Hira decided to leave. But Roland's line about she being unable to finish them off leaves at least the chance of redemption. And I'm definitely not against shipping her with Qwydion, they would be an interesting couple but that has to grow in a natural or organic way if it ever happens.

And I really hope they continue this story in further seasons instead of a comic or as a sidequest in the upcoming game.

Please, someone, explain...

Why is Rezaren even a villain? He wanted to resurrect Neb, where is any bad thing about it? Why Miriam doesn't want to rule the fucking TEVINTER IMPERIUM? Why is Miriam so angry at him when they meet in ep4? Why is she saying "you kill my family", when she killed Neb? And for the God sake, HOW DID HE SUPPOSED TO SAVE HER AND HER BROTHER IN THE HARROWING SCENE? He wasn't even conscious!!!!

This series make me feel so stupid, it just doesn't explain things and i can't understand.
