At times, it’s because of the light in the sky or the juxtaposition of nearby structures. Sometimes, it’s just how we see ’em. In real time, this day, from our perspective. This one formed its shape in my mind…

Coffee shop shoppers don’t stay true to one brand, to a favorite cup of coffee. I bet I’m kidding myself when I’m just reviewing what’s available. Here I am, sitting at Ole and Steen, new, Scandinavian, cute. Did I mention “new “?” New is exciting.

What podcasts are you listening to? For politics and insights, I would go with Pod Save America. For wisdom (duh), Julia Louis Dreyfus is spreading respect for elderly ladies in Wiser than Me. This is an aside, but honestly, grammar grandma, Wiser than I. Notwithstanding and also nonetheless, this is a wonderful series of conversations between Seinfeld’s best girl and some terrific older…

Teeshirt tourism
It’s an interesting concept, but other people’s messenging can trigger memories. A Woodstock t-shirt had me reminiscing not so much about the event upstate in the 60s, but.. that I went to camp in the area years before. It had a dual impact for me. Layered over time. Mind, I wasn’t at Woodstock. I attended a different outdoor muddy festival one afternoon with a friend. Not much there to…
