Here's what we're reading, recommending, and revisiting this week. Catherine's library find is another nonfiction, memoir-ish pick called All the Beauty in the World: The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Me by Patrick Bringley, which chronicles the author's ten-year stint as a guard at the museum. Mentioned: From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, also set at the Met. ​ Terri's random recommendation is on hiatus for the moment as we return to the DWTS ballroom, where Dwight and Daniella pulled off a beautiful foxtrot and our fave Stephen showed he could do more than jive. The less said about the eliminated Anna the better. Mentioned: Champions, with Kaitlyn Olson, who we're seeing a lot during DWTS in ads for her new show, High Potential; and Terri's Substack, Too Old for Cool. Really though, EVERYONE should watch it. Even if you're not into shipping or crazy fangirliness like I am, it is still a quality show. Every single episode is great. I never realized how huge and sort of revolutionary it was when it was airing. I was too young to understand it, I guess.

uh oh, is this my fault?

Yeah, I think so XD But don't feel bad - this is incredibly entertaining. I just wish I could have posted the first one I did with the Sherlockians but I kept on getting an error message every time I clicked Create Post. One conversation I started over 30 minutes ago is still going - although they're not talking about OTPs or fandom.

I agree.  It was on a news segment about apparently kids aren't using sun screen like they are supposed to and you need to point out that being pale is healther,but apparently kids aren't capable of thinking of health over looks, so you have to make sure they realize that pale is prettier.

Law and Order: SVU is totally worth it. Of course, I might just be saying that because Mariska Hargitay is *almost* Mulgrew-status to me, but still. Elliot/Olivia is a beautiful thing.

It's weird, I've been watching the show for over a year now, and I still don't ship Elliot/Olivia =/ I mean, I can totally see why people would.. and I admit that in the beginning I shipped it a little. But now that I've watched more and more, I just see them as the bestest of friends and a PERFECT team. I can't bring myself to full on ship them for some reason.

The only way I sat through Star Wars was by browsing Tumblr, so you’re definitely not alone.

I went into it thinking I would fall absolutely in love and be all ~let's love all Star fandoms~ but then I realized how dull it was.

It probably has a lot to do with not growing up with it though. Just not my thing..
