“Ani, watch out! You’re going to spill the plums!” You giggle, ushering him in the quarters you share with your Master Shaak Ti.

It’s late at night, a rare day without missions as you both get closer to knighthood. So Anakin had casually suggested swiping some food from the food stalls in the city and having a sleepover, just like old times. You’d known each other since he had come to the temple 12 years ago, and you can admit that you’ve been missing the hours you used to waste away laughing and dreaming of your futures as Jedi Masters. You had bonded over wanting to help people and become powerful enough to stop tragedy from happening, he’s whispered things to you that he fears Obi-Wan Kenobi would flay him alive for.

He’s the only one that knows anything about your family, what you ran to the Jedi Order from. You’re not allowed to have personal belongings from that time of your life, but you slipped a good luck charm in the folds of Anakin’s tunic on your 14th birthday and pecked his lips before darting off to your sparring session with your Master.

Perhaps it’s a panic response, clinging to these brief silver linings when you can sense his force signature darkening. Anakin does what you wish you could, deep down, how can you judge his heart when it’s other half aches in your chest?

“You think too little of me, Scyva.” Ani grins, balancing the tray in the crook of his arm as he follows you to your room.

Scyva, because that’s what an edgy prepubescent you had insisted on if he was going to call you a name derived from the Old Gods. In truth, it made you terribly shy that he wanted to call you Aivela, that he still does after he gives you the bare minimum of saying the name you wanted first.

“Well,” he had ‘hmph’ed back then, “Then I’ll be Izax, because that’s Scyva’s husband.”

So simple, so assured, like it was the most obvious declaration in the world to make. Playing house with forces beyond your understanding in their clothes.

Your cheeks warm as you recall the memory, you close your door hoping that Masters Shaak Ti and Obi-Wan will be delayed more than you thought.

Anakin had also managed to finesse a couple of cups of Jawa Juice from Dex’s Diner, “Master’s a good friend of his, but he won’t rat us out.”

Both of those cups are gone and empty within minutes, the pair of you doped up on the sizzling connection between you. This unbreakable bond that formed all those years ago, it’s like all your pains and troubles fade away when you’re near Anakin. He’s told you the same, with an imploring look in his doe eyes, begging you without words to understand what that must mean. Why you two are so clearly meant for each other.

He’s the chosen one, he teased you when you were 15 and had lost round after round to him in training, the force wouldn’t want it’s son to be without a chosen one of his own.

You were 16 and learning how to swim together, you had forgotten how but Anakin held you up in the water like he had been doing it all his life. You pecked his lips again then too, that’s all you ever did, the farthest you went. To do more would be to open up durasteel gates that would flood Coruscant in sparks and wet wires.

You shrug off the outer layers of your tunic, plopping down on your bed and sighing, “I could never think more of you if I tried, Ani.”

Give Anakin Skywalker a pearl and he’ll turn it into a Greater Krayt Dragon.

His seemingly stuck grin widens and he clamors onto the bed to lie right beside you, “Yeah? Typical of my biggest fan.”

Your arms brush together and a sudden jolt of fire burns down your throat.

You roll your eyes, picking up a plum and biting into it, ignoring the bob of Anakin’s adam’s apple and the flash of arousal in the force.

You don’t know why, but you make eye contact as you finish the piece of fruit, making an extra effort to lick some of the purplish-red juice off your bottom lip.

Anakin shuffles closer and reaches out to rub away what you missed with his thumb. Your breath hitches, the air in the room is shifting to something you can’t even say you didn’t anticipate or secretly wish for. Ani’s always so warm, every part of him, and the comfort his coarse finger tip brings to your often bitten lip lights a candle in your soul.

Neither of you say anything as he brings his other closer to your hip, his fingers ghosting along the curve like he’s afraid to touch you, that you’ll disappear if he lets himself buy into the delusion that he can have something so sacred. Anakin Skywalker doesn’t buy, he gets bought, but every teasing moment over the years does some serious damage to a 20 year old guy’s psyche. Maybe you should think of it like sparring, you can’t improve without throwing yourself into the fray.

The kiss he plants on you isn’t anywhere close to one of your previous “friendly” pecks, it’s ravenous. He’s enthusiastic, moving to sink his thumbs into the divots under your jaw so he can tilt your head up. He moans into it too, heady and smug with every caress of your lips and every wet pop signaling you pulling away to breathe or change your position.

He nods and shrugs it off, storing that opportunity to spiral away for later. You exclaim in surprise as he dives in to kiss you again. The kisses are hotter now, heavy and sloppy with intention. Anakin waves a hand around trying to find the tray of plums without breaking away from you, he eventually fumbles onto it and yanks it to push into your hip.

You pull back in confusion, but Anakin smiles and pushes you to fall on your back with his hand splayed out across your chest.

He takes a plum and bites off half of it, leaning down to share it with you as he crushes the other half above your body, honing in on the squelching sound and passing you bits of the plum from his tongue to yours.

“I’ve had dreams of a goddess of love on a lonely planet in the future, a god too, and they look just. like. you.” He draws back and punctuates each word with a swipe of his tongue through the plum juice on your ribs.

You hear more than see the sniff he takes of your skin, deep lung fulls of the fruity hints in your natural musk. He humps into the mattress and his cock twitches, your belly clenches when he flicks droplets of sweat off of you, the pink in his bunny tongue winking up at you in the low light.

A wonderful commission by the talented @punkzcakes of my original character, Daaineran—known as Dani—Faygan, a Zeltron-Corellian rebel agent in the early days of the rebellion, and her father, Draq’ Bel Iblis, the Dragon of Corellia, in a tender (mostly)moment. The child on Draq’s shoulders is Azaada Shoshi-Ry, the princess (at least in her parents’ and everybody who meets her’s eyes) of the Shoshi-Ry huntstead on Shili. Her father was a hunt-brother to Shaak Ti, and an ally in Fulcrum’s little social club.

their name is Ajax, they first got involved with everything when their escape pod crashed into Kamino and they shortly revealed a capability to generate and redirect electricity. since it was the early days of the Clone Wars, Shaak Ti made the rule to induct Ajax into one of the squads (mostly to prevent them from being eradicated but also the benefits of this. strange human generator) and the decision is made that they join the 501st Squad. Rex is not happy at a reg being kinda forced into this war, especially as Ajax really struggles with being turned into a war machine, so he does his best to train them well while he and others in the squad try to support them.

unfortunately, things do not turn out well and Ajax abandons the troop well into the war.

fast-forward a short while, Ajax is turning their skills to bounty hunting instead, given that they do now have rudimentary battle skills alongside dirty scrapping techniques and a strong capability with electronics (so most of their bounties are information). they end up coming into Cad Bane's circles and he's certainly curious about this new 'spark'. the pair work a couple of parallel bounties (Ajax is breaking into somewhere that Cad wants to get into, he has guns and they have technological strength) before Cad straight-up apprentices Ajax into further bounty hunter capabilities - sort of a case of 'you have skills I don't want anyone else using' plus 'you have skills that can be honed in ways I know how and I want to see how those skills flourish'.

Ajax runs back in with the 501st on occasion. there's a lot of mixed feelings - they're a traitor, they do sometimes sabotage the clones' missions to complete their own work - but there's acknowledgement that they are, on the whole, much better mentally than when they were being used as a human weapon.

then Order 66 hits and Ajax goes off the rails

following a moment where they vanish during a mission with a thunderstorm generating shortly after, Ajax abandons Cad when the pair of them are hired to return Omega, and joins up with the on-the-run Bad Batch for a while. with time, they leave that group too. with further time, they eventually join the Rebellion against the Empire, although not without a fair amount of persuasion.

Ajax is.....uncanny. in multiple ways. including a lack of aging.

they also are a dragon.

there's a lot more to go into with Ajax that I'm making my way through, I'm still debating whether to go through the process revealing bit-by-bit or whether to give all the information in one go.

in an effort to stop hoarding all of my notes on rawl/the 77th like a dragon - im going to start periodically posting them here! (as long as it doesnt directly spoil or reveal anything about the fic im planning). starting with answering some of these questions for calla and cyrus!!!

(btw calla is my jedi oc and cyrus is her master. linked some art ive done in the past of them <3)

How did they meet?

Cyrus is meditating one day in a garden in the Grand Temple. Calla is a Jedi Initiate at the time, age 7, and has snuck away to the garden during lunch hour because she loves plants and being in the garden. (She will often come back at the end of lunch hour with dirt-smudged cheeks, dirt under her fingernails, and a big smile on her face.) When she walks into the garden on this day, Cyrus is meditating in a corner right next to her favorite sapling. He is sitting, but he is taller than the little sapling that she has started to think of as a friend. (She’s a little bit shorter than the sapling.) The first thought that strikes her is that he’s taller sitting down than her friend, which makes her giggle. Cyrus doesn’t react to her giggle and continues meditating. Calla is fascinated by his montrals and lekku. She has a friend, Kili, who is a togruta, but Kili is still a youngling like her, and she has only seen glimpses of Master Shaak Ti in the halls. She walks up to him and plops down in the grass in front of him. He continues meditating, and she waits patiently for him, doing her best to mimic how he has positioned himself. As soon as she settles into position, he opens his eyes to look at her. “Hello, youngling.” She asks if he likes her friend as well, pointing to the sapling next to him. “Yes, it is good company for meditation.” From that day on, Calla finds Cyrus in the garden very frequently during her lunch hour. She often talks his ear off about the plants and which ones she loves and how she takes care of them. He often meditates while she gardens and spends her lunch hour there. She starts mimicking him as well and asking him questions as soon as he opens his eyes to look at her crisscrossed on the ground in front of him. She can be impatient, waiting for him to open his eyes, but she tries her best because she finds him so fascinating. He begins providing her with instruction, for meditation in particular, but he answers all of her questions. He helps her with tasks in the garden when she asks. She completes the Initiate Trials four months after meeting him in the garden, and he selects her as his Padawan.

2. How long have these two characters known each other?

Calla is 24 at the start of the Clone Wars, so they have known each other for 17 years at the beginning of the war.

4. How would they describe each other if asked? Physically? In personality?

Cyrus would describe Calla as headstrong, stubborn and at times prone to impatience, but he would also describe her as an incredibly dedicated Jedi, one with an inquisitive mind, a drive to improve herself, and a boundless capacity to care for other living things. Calla is the first Padawan that Cyrus has taken, and he has a lot of respect and love for her. Calla would describe Cyrus as reserved and, at times, difficult to read. His silences hold as much weight with her as his words. (Not in a silent treatment way – he is just very careful with his words, especially once he becomes her Master.) She thinks he is wise, endlessly patient, and one of the most intelligent people that she has ever encountered. Beyond that, she knows that he is cunning – it is a trait that she associates most with him. And as with Cyrus, Calla has a lot of respect and love for her Master.

6. Do they have any shared interests/hobbies? Do they ever do these hobbies together?

They garden together, of course. It is something they associate so strongly with one another by the time Calla has become a Knight. It is one of Calla’s favorite things, to be around plants, and Cyrus initially uses it as a tool for his teachings. It eventually morphs into something they just do together, rather than Cyrus only using it as a teaching tool. They also play Go together. Cyrus loves Go and begins teaching Calla when she is young. Calla plays with him because she loves learning from him and asking questions, even though she isn’t very good at Go.

8. How do they communicate with each other? Are there any recurring phrases or gestures unique to their relationship?

Cyrus communicates more with actions than words. When he becomes Calla’s Master, verbal communication outside of what is considered “lecturing” is not something that comes naturally to him, but he works on it to be a better Master to her. Since Calla is young when they meet and eventually becomes his pupil, the way Cyrus communicates shapes her own communication as well. She often shows how she feels through action rather than saying it aloud. They are very different people, and are bound to disagree at times, though they have so much respect for one another it is not often a serious disagreement. When they do have a serious disagreement, apologies are shown rather than said. Calla will go get Cyrus’ Go board and set it up for them to play, or Cyrus will join her in the garden. As far as recurring phrases, Cyrus will often tell Calla, “Be calm. Look inward.”, at times when she is struggling or stressed. It is a phrase she begins saying to herself as she gets older – a comforting reminder of his teachings. As far as recurring gestures are concerned, Cyrus is not someone who displays physical acts of affection. He is very reserved, and though he isn’t truly isolated from the other Jedi in the Order, he does tend towards solitude. However, when Calla becomes his Padawan, he realizes that he can’t impair her development with his tendencies towards solitude. He encourages her to form friendships and doesn't discourage any physical gestures of affection she may show towards him, even if he does not initiate them himself. The gesture he uses most often to show affection/support/pride is resting his hand on her head. (He is 7.5’ tall, and I feel this is important to point out here lol.) He stops doing this as she gets older, but during some really trying moments during the Clone Wars, he tries to offer her comfort with this gesture. When Calla is younger, Cyrus is obviously so much taller than her. (He is like a giant to her, almost mythical in his size – this plays into some of her reverence for him as her master. He seems almost “larger than life”.) She gets his attention by tugging on his robes or fingers if she can reach them. She continues this into being a teenager – it is a gesture for attention but also one of affection. I would say that an act of unspoken communication or companionship between them is joining the other in meditation. Even once Calla is a Knight and no longer training directly on Cyrus, they meditate with one another often, and they always sit directly in front of one another – just like Calla did when she was a child.

15. Do they trust each other? Why or why not?

Absolutely. Calla would probably say that they have “unshakable trust” in one another. However, this trust is tested during the Clone Wars. Cyrus’ position as General of a battalion of spies, a battalion that typically deals with the darker sides of a war – like subterfuge, strategy and eventually assassinations, forces him to make decisions that a Jedi Master would not have had to typically make prior to the Clone Wars. These decisions shake Calla, and she begins to question many things, including Cyrus’ decisions. Cyrus trusts Calla as well. During the war, he trusts her with many thoughts and emotions that he does not trust with anyone else. He sees her resolve in him waver, but he always puts his trust in her. In a way, he puts too much trust and perhaps too much expectation on her and asks much of her during the war.

22. When were they the most vulnerable with each other?

There is A Scene during the war that I have jotted some thoughts down about, and it is where they are most vulnerable and at their most volatile with each other. :)

I am a fiend for people's OCs. Would you mind screening at me some tidbits about Kiana and Kiho? They look awesome, tell me more about them please 🧎🏾‍♀️

HI YES I WOULD LOVE TO TALK ABOUT THE UMAKI TWINS thank you for asking 🥺❤️

Kiana and Kiho come from Shili and were discovered by Shaak Ti after the temple got wind of two force-sensitive twins. They are fraternal twins and because their mother was killed during childbirth, their father thought of them as a curse rather than a blessing and was all too happy to give them away when Shaak Ti came by. (They were about 7/8 years old when they were taken to the temple.)

Kiana was born blind, so she is often depicted with her eyes closed. Her force sensitivity allows her to see auras, giving images and living figures a distinct shape without showing their features — so even though she is blind, she carries herself as if she isn't. She is very empathetic to all that lives, so she constantly struggles with killing or causing death — it isn't in her nature to kill the only thing she can see. She also struggles with the concept of death, fearing it in a way that is against the Jedi code. She became a Jedi knight before the Clone Wars so the transition from being a student to being a soldier was very, very hard on her mental health. (For age context, she and Kiho are the same age as Anakin.) Luckily, she found solace in her master Ramses Barra (a Nautolan oc), and Sargeant Ares (clone oc). Kiana is always chastised by her master and brother for being too kind and generous because it lets people take advantage of her services and it often leaves her hurt. Her saber-wielding is more of an art form because she always moves defensively rather than offensively. She lets her master, brother, and clones do the killing, all while she looks the other way. fun facts: she has charms hanging off of her lightsaber hilt and 'peacekeeper' engraved in the metal to remind her of what it truly means to be a jedi. —— [Kiana's inspiration comes from a collection of figures like Aang (atla), Hestia (greek mythology), Sam & Arwen (Lord of the Rings)]

Kiana's brother is... a different story. From the start, Kiho was always very protective of his sister. He stood up for her and he protected her in a way that not only strengthened their relationship as siblings but also through the force. They could read each other's emotions without even saying a word. Kiana essentially learned to see through him. That being said, everything changed the moment they were brought to the temple. Because they were split apart for their studies, the past trauma and abuse from his father affected Kiho a lot more than it did Kiana, who learned through her teachings to let go of the anger. The stronger he became in his abilities, the stronger Kiho's emotions grew and the better he became at hiding it. Over time, he went from being the troublemaker to becoming the silent but deadly soldier. Though he is quiet and reserved (and definitely more of an introvert than an extrovert), he is completely different in battle and serious situations. He becomes calculating and straightforward, like Master Windu. Unlike Kiana, he doesn't fear killing or causing harm, so the transition into the clone wars was all too easy for him. In fact, he grew to welcome the fight, using battles as a coping mechanism through his very chaotic and unorganized fighting style. His stance on life leads to him bonding with Anakin a little too well in terms of how they view the council and the war effort. Death is a concept that he has accepted. This got out of control, but...10 female characters I like:

Hawkgirl (Justice League Animated Series): My very favorite female character! I was so freaking obsessed with her! She was based off one of my favorite animals, she had wings, she was the tomboy, she wielded a magic mace (only thing that would’ve been better was if she had a sword) and her storyline is hands down THE BEST of the JLAS. I will die on that hill.

Cassie (Animorphs): I am sorry Rachael you were brave, you mattered…BUT Cassie’s the nature nerd who gives no fucks about gender (no I’m not projecting, why do you ask?) and is a badass one-woman army. As an adult I also appreciate her unwillingness to dismiss the personhood of her foes in a war and for her willingness to cut out pieces of her heart to live (i.e. Jake). Also Cassie and Marco play off each other well when confronted by authority figures 😉

Mulan (Disney’s Mulan): Have to put my favorite Disney Princess in here. She’s badass but she saves the day by being clever. She was also my first exposure to a character who didn’t quite fit into the box of female…or male really and I related HARD! The music is generally awesome and I also appreciate the conflict of family vs being who she is. And the general lack of romance!

Wonder Woman (DC Comics and Movies): The first female superhero I had exposure to, she battles the God of War and wins (how amazing is that!) and her redesign gives her a sword (eeee!!!) and a shield and she’s the best thing about the entire DC run of movies – though IMAO her only competition is 2018 Aquaman so…

Lung Tien Lien (Temeraire Series): Jane Roland My Beloved I am sorry but She’s a dragon and she’s got a genuinely awesome backstory, she’s a Big Bad and evil despite understandable circumstances and she manages to be EVIL and give dragons all over Europe freedom. Just an AMAZINGLY written character that you can hate and sympathize with simultaneously!

Katara (Avatar the Last Airbender): If I had to pick a character I think she’s my overall favorite. As a kid I’d have picked Toph but I didn’t watch this until age 35 and just the combo of backstory and characterization and being mature and soft but also sassy and vengeful and just so much depth. Also so many challenges against sexism I can’t resist!

Edna Mode (The Incredibles): Love the Incredibles overall but if I had to pick a character Edna is just crack for me. So addictive I could watch a movie just about her she’s hilarious and such a different character style and voice than a normal female character (though part of this is because I think she was actually voiced by a man but anyway…)

Karren Murphy (Dresden Files): I would rate her higher but IMAO she was done so dirty by the author, especially towards the end (i.e. kill your disabled people + for the manpain) way. Urgh! Could’ve been so good! But she’s badass and an exception to ACAB and one of the rare times where I like the mundane character as much as the magical character.

Lien (Order of the Stick): She’s a Samurai-flavored Paladin. She’s proof Good is NOT Dumb and she’s the most relatable Paladin her backstory is literally ‘ends up in trouble with asshole. Punches asshole in face for tryna be major asshole creep’. She survives the genocide of her entire Order by a Lich and has a shark mount and just…she’s cool and I love her negative is positive attitude. Her ‘if the world were fair it wouldn’t need Paladins’. Whooo!!!

Shaak Ti (Star Wars): I’m sorry but there’s not nearly enough about her and some of the canon material does her dirty BUT she tied Grevious’ cape to a train and she’s got enviable serenity and honestly she makes the Jedi Robes look hot enough to bring out my latent lesbian!

Name ten female characters you like, you get zapped if it's jsut a male character you call a babygirl or other feminine nicknames because I can't see people calling Lestat coquette again
