The hull has been painted Navy Blue and the boot stripe is on! The hull numbers and draft marks should get painted out this week.

Yes, the paint color is called Navy Blue even though it’s not navy blue. We are painting the ship in the camouflage scheme she wore from January 1945 to March 1948 -Measure 21. Measure 21 is Navy Blue over all with the horizontal surfaces painted Deck Blue.

No we are not painting the ship Haze Grey, because that is not in keeping with how we are presenting the ship. We are presenting the ship as she was in 1945. Navy ships weren’t always painted Haze Gray and this is a reflection of that."

It was finally the most awaited week of the whole year, Christmas week. It was a family tradition for everyone to start preparing for Christmas when December came by but this year round, you were away from your family and you were spending it with Yunho and his friends. Considering that everyone was busy with their own schedules and you finally got a break till New Years, you began your preparation a little later than usual.

But as usual, Christmas went by in a blink of an eye. Right after you had taken down the Christmas tree all by yourself, you let out a loud sigh, feeling a little sad. It certainly felt a little different since it was something you’d do together with your family members but it didn’t feel as lonely since you were with your loving boyfriend.

You grabbed your phone off the couch and took a picture of the now dismantled tree, sending it to Yunho who was at practice with the boys. Not even a second passed, he had seen your message and immediately called you.

“Oh, hello?”

“Y/N, how can you take down the tree without me helping you out? It must have been hard, especially with the upper part of the tree.” He scolded you, making you chuckle.

“Yunho, it’s fine. I was gonna do it by today anyway and I was free after you left so I just got it done. You would be home later anyway. You waited for a bit as you sat down, grabbing your gifts you got for Yunho along with the gift wrapper. You set your call on speaker mode and put your phone down. You could only hear some of the boys whispering to each other but it wasn’t too audible since the background music was blocking their voices out.

“Okay, okay. I’m sorry I didn’t wait till you came home but tomorrow’s New Years eve! You know I don’t like keeping the tree up for longer than 3 days. Anyway, I’m going to the supermarket soon to get some stuff for our dinner tomorrow.” You told him, still not getting a response back. “Should I get champagne too?”

You and Yunho spent a homely Christmas together as everyone was with their family except for the two of you. It was not much but work has definitely made your lives much more busier, causing you two to not get presents for each other in time that you were doing it pretty late. Not that it mattered to you at this age but you felt bad for not carrying out a simple task.

You started wrapping your presents, occasionally glancing at your phone to see if he was about to end the call since he wasn’t answering you back. There was some light bickering among the boys but you couldn’t hear what they were talking about. “Jeong Yunho, If you wanted to help me out so badly, do me a favour and ask the boys what they would want for gifts or I’m wrapping vegetables for all 8 of you.”

Your threat seemed to slightly work as you heard Mingi chime at the other side of the call, “Ya, I don’t want vegetables this year. You better ask her for her size or I’m asking her myself!”

Size? Your size for what? You were about to voice out but Yunho cut you to it. “Well, that sounds fine. Go ahead, baby.”

“So you want me to get vegetables for them?” You questioned, earning a yell from Jongho.

“Not sure why I’m on speaker mode but okay.” You answered back, hearing someone getting a hard smack. You were about to end the call but stopped when Yunho called out. “Baby, wait! One more thing.”

“Yeah?”

“Your hand is almost the same as San’s right?” The question almost came out as a whisper, Yunho knowing you would get agitated at that question since your hands were the size of a child compared to his delicate giant ones.

“You know the answer already. Why are you even asking this? Are you getting me a bracelet from Pandora or what?” You asked him, sealing the gift wrapper with a ribbon on top for Yunho’s gift, which was a Rolex watch and matching rings that you’ve been eyeing for a while now.

A silence was heard initially, then a voice followed along. “Yeah, would rose gold do?”

Your cheeks flushed, “Ah, um, yeah. See you later then. Tell the boys to be early tomorrow. Oh, I’ll get 3 bottles of champagne then, okay?”

“Okay, sure thing. Yes, 3 is fine. I love you.” Yunho replied, sending a kiss through the call.

“Love you too.” You responded and ended the call.

One gift wrapped and there was more to go. You sighed, pushing them away for awhile and opened your laptop to surf the internet, making a list on what to buy for the boys, wanting it to be meaningful as well. Even if Christmas wasn’t as joyful as you wanted it to be, New Years was going to be the most memorable holiday you had in a while and you couldn’t wait for it to arrive.

In short, a 20th anniversary Precure zine I applied to contribute to has gone up in smoke.

The server has been up for two months, but the moderators have been silent for the majority of the time since its start. The last time anyone heard from either mod was one month ago regarding a timeline, which they still hadn't posted.

It made me really sad to watch as several of the artists left the passion project due to poor communication.

Two nights ago, I drafted a slapdash timeline for a similar digital zine for the 20th Anniversary of Precure, then revised that the next morning. I'm in the process of drafting a third timeline proposal, but currently, I have two timelines I wish to propose:

Timeline 1: Interest Check Start: First week of July 2023; Release Date: Mid to late December 2023

Timeline 2: Interest Check Start: First week of August 2023; Release Date: Mid to late January 2024 (ideally before the next season airs)

I have more details than what's listed above, I assure you; this is just to give a general idea.

While refining my proposals, I did some research, created a server, and came up with a checklist filled with as many details as I could think of; the contact information of people who'd previously expressed interest in the zine, positions that need filling, and a to-do list I created after referencing zines I'd previously purchased myself.

Point is, I've done as much as I can on my own, and I'm going to keep researching, but I'd greatly appreciate some assistance.

I'd like to enlist the help of at least one (1) experienced moderator. Given the time constraints and my own lack of zine experience, however, I think a team of 2 or 3 would be ideal for this project.

I'll be continuing my independent research for the next few weeks, but if you know of someone who might be interested in co-moderatoring this digital zine, or are interested in the position yourself, please reach out to me by Sunday, May 21, 2023.

December 20, 2023 | First Check-In - Authors


Nothing is due at this point, but we want to make sure you are on track to finish the required amount by claims. The check in form will be emailed on December 15, 2023.


January 8, 2024 | 80% Drafts and Claims Info Due - Authors


Author drafts are due. More information in the Claims Info section found on Tumblr. The form will be open January 1, 2022.

I know no one asked but this is my account and I wanna yap so:

I'm still reeling about the fact that I started role-playing cause I wanted to write but didn't know where to start.

Like, I was thirteen, in highschool, when I started reading wattpad and lurking around fandoms like One Direction, Jack & Jack and all the other youtubers. Then I was like... 14 or 15, in my second year, stumbling into a roleplay group right as I was thinking about improving my grammar and vocabulary in spanish cause, even though I was a native speaker, I was bad at it and I wanted it to be on par with my writing in english.

At some point during that, I wrote my first fic (the sam & colby one you'll find at the bottom of my masterlist) in english, shared it with my friends and got positive feedback and then dropped it cause I was satisfied with what they had said.

Then it was late 2019 and one of my friends (the same one who complimented my writing in english and would help me with my shitty grammar in spanish) was talking about how her sister was into bts and was making her listen to their music and ended up getting into their music in december of that same year cause I wanted to know who she was talking about when she talked about them and instead fell down the rabbit whole and started joining even more roleplay groups and creating more oc's (I reached a point where I had like... 21 oc's cause I wanted to roleplay every bts ship)

And then the pandemic hit while I was freshly 17, now fully in the bts fandom, still role-playing in whatsapp but now reading fics on twitter and lying to adults by saying I was 18 cause I wanted to continue lurking and reading. Yeah, I'll admit to it. However, I was smart about it and only interacted positively with people's stories because I knew better than to throw a fit about finding things that I didn't like. Plus, I wasn't actively seeking out fics I didn't like and there is a very small list of things that I wouldn't read. When I say I like reading, I mean it.

At some point during that, I came up with an oc who was loosely inspired in Lucifer Morningstar, Loki and the many other fics I'd consumed and came up with my first chaptered fic that never got finished because there was so much world building that I ended forgetting where I wanted everything to go (will I finish it? No, it's glory lies in being a forever unfinished draft because I'm proud of that baby, no matter how fugly and deformed it is)

Then I took a break from all of it in 2023, because bts was going into the military service and I was starting to feel burnt out from reading so many fics and keeping track of which one's I'd already added to the rec thread. Fell into the boyfriend asmr rabbit hole instead, joined a discord server dedicated to one of the va's who's voice I liked, made friends who write and voice act, wrote my first script and shared it, received encouragement from said friends and continued writing scripts (that I never finished, unfortunately. Those one's I'm still mourning cause I was writing two sides of a script for two va's who happened to be in a relationship and BOY WAS IT GOOD, but anyways) dropped off the face of the earth (for the discord friends... I feel guilty, I should go bother them) stumbled into ladstok downloaded the game in... may? 2024

And now, it's 2025, and I'm here, on the third fandom I'd consider myself a part of, actually posting what I write, with my actual age written down.

And it feels a little bit weird, cause I've had years of honing my skill, learning my writing style, learning how to write with and without inspiration, learning that I have to be lenient and kind with myself if I want to write without feeling like I'm pulling teeth. But it still doesn't feel like I've spent all those years writing....

Anyways, that's it, that's what I wanted to yap about. I've come so far yet it doesn't feel like it... the wonders of life.
