PEAK IS BACK LETS GOOO. Been waiting on this American arc for so long. Can’t wait to see some of my fave moments animated. Been so long since I read that this’ll feel new for me too lol.

That opening is such a departure from what we’ve seen in this series thus far. Feels more Kaguya Sama than Dr Stone, I like how it’s got this whole casino royale theme going on though. Song could grow on me, but the visuals are excellent.

That aside, great first episode back. Felt like we picked up right where we left off narratively and chemistry wise with the cast. All the banter and over the top antics from Gen, Senku, Kohaku, etc., just makes you feel right at home with these characters. Thursdays are going to be great.

A high stakes poker match to determine the route to the states is such a Dr. Stone thing to do. Gen cheating ass using a fucking BEETLE and sugar to tell the cards in advance is wild. Vegas is gonna have to start checking people for bugs now lmao. Of course that ain’t enough to stop my goat Senku from winning though so great northern route it is. Yea it’s more challenging, but every day counts when it’s a race against the clock like this. Great start to the season, can’t wait for the next few eps!!

ED song is also really different, but on first listen I like it way more than the OP and the visuals are so good!! Gen and Senku skipping to the beat’s so cute. Kohaku fans we ate good!!

Some of the departed members have participated in live performances and songwriting. With the motto “long live the music”, they have been attracting attention with their crossover musicality based on roots music such as funk, soul, jazz, and latin, mixed with hip-hop, rock, ska, and other styles. The band's name is an abbreviation of “Alien Liberty International”.

In 2021, the team won Best Opening for “Wild Side” from the animated TV series “BEASTARS” at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in the United States, and “AKLO” from the animated TV series “Jutsu Kaisen” won Best Ending, making it the first double winner since the awards began.

First Impression: Dr. Stone: Science Future

The Kingdom of Science is back and two of its leaders are at loggerheads! If you’ll recall, the intrepid crew of the Perseus is on its way to America to collect materials to fuel a rocket ship for a flight to the Moon and confrontation with the mysterious Why Man. Yes, dear readers, this show is going to go from zero to Space Brothers pretty freaking fast. However, Senku and Ryusui are having a dispute about how to get there. Senku argues that the crew must reach the U.S. of A. as quickly as possible, in 40 days, otherwise, they won’t get there in time to harvest the materials needed to build and fuel their spacecraft and make the precious revival fluid needed to restore humanity from its stony slumber. However, our sea captain Ryusui argues that this course would take a lot of effort and strain the crew; he insists on taking a different course that would take 70 days. Both are right, both are stubborn, both are headstrong. What to do? Well of course…they play a winner-take-all game of poker! Wait, POKER!? The fate of humanity is being determined by poker!? Meh, it could be worse. GET EXCITED AND CUE THE SHENANAGINS!

Man, i love Dr. Stone and how it shows so much love for curiosity and the passing of knowledge. I love seeing Senku so happy watching Chrome find the answers with the knowledge he is acquiring.

I love how thinking about the stories of the past Suika gives a guide to building a new way to problem solving, which is not really new! but knowledge is cyclical and Chrome's wit rediscovers it AAAAAAH,

I love how ancient knowledge of the Vikings that Ryusui remembered is now just as useful and once again drives humanity to find its way at sea!

I love how creativity is so loved, how every skill is appreciated and valued as a fundamental piece to rebuilding the world. I always say this, but this series really feels like a love letter to humanity's perseverance, curiosity and will!!

deciphering the dr stone tarot cards, so you don't have to!

hi, tarot has been my passion for years, i was overjoyed to see a lineup of each character as a tarot card for the outro of the new season some are a bit difficult to see, but i'm going to try and make out what each one is, and then give a brief synopsis !!

Senku - The Hierophant Building up the world within your limitations and working to transcend those boundaries. The Hierophant is a leader who passes his knowledge of the world on to his followers. Suika - The Star Looking upon the world with optimism and child-like wonder. A person represented by the Star wants to lend a helping hand or guidance to whoever needs it. Kohaku - Strength Strength is made up of two different parts; Mind and Guts. The lion is one's guts, as well as their instincts of survival, while the person who stands beside the lion embodies dreams and knowledge. When the two parts are working together in harmony, true strength is achieved. Chrome - The Fool Through blind faith and curiosity, a journey begins, all because the fool was willing to take that leap. (In my interpretation, I thought this related to Chrome a lot, because before he met Senku, he was experimenting with science on his own, and collecting the materials that would be the groundwork for their studies.) Tsukasa - The Emperor A leader, builder, and protector. Their approach on life is stoic, heavy on abiding by the laws that govern society and nature. They feel deeply about their morals and values. Kinro and Ginro - Temperance Temperance is two opposing energies that help balance each other out. When those energies are in harmony, anything can be achieved. Ukyo - Justice A force that beckons for peace and fairness, as well as judges people with honesty, helping them to see the world with more clarity. Hyoga - Unsure I believe his card is either Death or The Hermit. Gen - The Magician (This one is pretty self-explanatory lmao). The Magician represents communication skills and talent, but the person's true intentions always lie underneath trickery and confusion. Ryusui - The Chariot Stepping into your life with a vision of victory, and blindly relying on your instincts to achieve your goals, making bold decisions and letting the odds be in your favor. Taiju and Yuzuriha - The Lovers The Lovers represents unity between people, or a strong bond between one and their values. Sacrifices are made along the way, but core beliefs are never lost. Minami and Nikki - The Sun The Sun is a very positive force which aids the movement of something greater. The Sun, as a person, is supportive and optimistic. Moz and Kirisame - Death

I don't remember much of the Petrification arc, so I can't apply any character interpretations, but Death means new beginnings and transformation brought about through harsh endings.
