Today is the day I drive myself to the twin cities of west texas for a mammogram & to finally renew my glasses rx.

Of course it's hard as hell to see out of the ones I have now.

I've been praying since I made the appts and I know God is watching over me. Still, it is the firstvtime I've driven myself out of town in 3 years. I'm nervous and excited. When hubby drives we don't even stop for food! It's straight to the dr.'s office & straight back, only stopping for gas & restroom breaks and even then he's hurrying me.

It's going to be so nice to take my time & run some extra errands, Every morning on my way to work, I hear radio ads for Keith's Hamburger Station. I'm going there for lunch!! 😘😁🍔

This is going to be short bc i already have a post up explaining this situation, but I started having seizures, which led to medical costs I couldn't handle bc I have an autoimmune disorder that's been going untreated for years. I got the appts covered bc of an extremely generous friend on here, and had some additional medication costs which I thankfully had enough for. I've been applying to at least 10 jobs a day and had tons of interviews. I'm going through interviews and assessments for several jobs (got more scheduled for tomorrow) Then my card got stolen, and now I am screwed as far as rent goes, even if one of these jobs comes through like today we will still fall short because rent is due on the 1st and we don't get a grace period. I am trying to get the money that was taken when my card was stolen back, but I have been told to wait to hear back after submitting all the details, and have yet to hear back.

My roommates and I have a huge food garden planted and are working towards self-sufficiency, which we have no hope of if we can't pay rent.

It's not your usual master-servant dynamic. He just wants you close to him. As close as possible. He really is rather sweet.

Jin makes a kind of sad face when he says it won't last forever. well, as sad as he can manage.

He knows that once your curse is broken you'll probably go back to your ordinary life. If your curse can't be broken you'll die. And if you, for some reason, continue to stay at Darkwick even after being cured, he'll be a fourth year next year--he's gonna go off to do field work. Eventually he'll work in the highest levels of the Institute and eventually he'll take his father's place as the president. With all of this, there's no way you'll be able to be together, no matter what. This is a short lived burst of happiness and attachment for him. It means a lot more to him than you realize.

it's the 14th anniversary of my mom's death today. it's crazy to think that in two years she will be gone as long as i knew her. it would be a lie to say her death hurts as much as it used to, but that's because it's part of who i am now. i'm a person with a dead mother and idk how to be anything else. i carry it into every room i walk into. i see people with their mothers who are twice my age and get angry, and i know that isn't fair. i mourn the person my mother was and i mourn the version of myself that died with her that day. i'll never know how my life would have been if she had lived. i wish i remembered things better, i wish i had asked her more questions, i wish i had spent more time with her. i still can't believe she's dead. i rewlly can't believe it all this time later: she really died.

Cuz with the whole biting thing there’s not just a physical claim but a mental one too. I can’t picture inarizaki holding off sinking their teeth into the reader and once Kita does, the rest of them aren’t gonna hold back either.

I’d say that the only way to break a claiming bite would be to kill the wolf who put it there and override it with their own, but in this case that would mean one pack wiping the other out entirely.
