Phylicia Rashad, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and Jordan Donica are joining the cast of HBO’s The Gilded Age for season three. 

Phylicia Rashad will play a recurring role as Mrs. Elizabeth Kirkland, described as a woman from a prominent family with exacting standards for her social group and her son. The son, Dr. William Kirland, will be played by Jordan Donica.

She will play opposite Brian Stokes Mitchell who will guest star as the husband to Rashad’s character. Mitchell’s character, Frederick Kirkland, is also the pastor of a prominent Black church in the community.
