good LIRD I love emerie. because, like, if she stops doing her job she'll just be replaced- she replaced nala se, after all. any attempt to help will be found out, and hemlock has a lot of firepower. what they're doing on tantiss is wrong, she knows that, but she also knows that any effort she makes will be immediately squashed. what echo does there isn't convincing her that it's wrong- like I said, she already knows that. it's convincing her that she can do something about it. his presence on tantiss at all is enough to make her realize that while hemlock is powerful, he's not invincible. tantiss has weaknesses. ones that she, as chief scientist on project necromancer, is in a position to exploit. and so she almost immediately offers him her help, because to her, he represents a crack in hemlock's armor, a vein through which she can get to him!

something something, emerie being sent away from the other clones and forced under hemlock's care, how she's stifled and shunted because of his mistreatment ➡️ ➡️ she's literally closeted??

like, how omega is this reflection of what she could have been in better circumstances/emerie is a reflection of what omega could have been if hunter and the batch never went back for her. how emerie is isolated and constantly living under this idea of "following the rules is what's best for you", "listening to hemlock is what's best for you", "keep your head down and don't make any trouble, that's what's best for you".

This isn't what I usually make a moodboard with mix with some characters like this but I wanted a bit of challenging myself to use three characters that I tagged on this app.

If I don't get these guys backstories I'm gonna implode (Even Scorch. I want to know how he ended up all serious and loyal to the Empire). PLEASE Disney/Lucasfilm, tell me who I have to kill for you to do it, because I will 🗡️

That was exactly the ending I wanted!

No one from the Batch died, even if there were some scares along the way. (Well, Hemlock and Rampart were killed, but I’m not that sad about it. Nala Se went out in an honorable fashion.)

The surviving clones and the kids are safe and get to live peaceful lives.

The Batch got to settle down and live a happy life on Pabu.

You know Wrecker finally got to fish full-time, like he was meant to do. After being a big bruiser for so long, he’s finally able to be somewhere his strength can be used to build, not destroy.

Crosshair gets to figure out who he is without his shooting hand, which is honestly the healthiest thing for him. He’s able to heal!

Echo is continuing his work for the clones. (Emerie is going with him as his adopted daughter sister and ally.)

We get to see a grown Omega choosing to leave to help the Rebellion, to help people. She’s going to be a pilot, and she took Tech’s goggles with her as a momento and as a token of good luck. (Not me getting teary and happy at her red headband.)

Also, big shoutout to Gonky for still being around and being a delight.

Older Hunter has a beard and a ponytail. (Hunter girlies, go off and thirst! He aged like fine wine.)

Hunter and Omega end this series being the emotional core connection that we’ve seen from the beginning. Yes, it’s sad to see her leave Pabu, but she’s got another fight in her. Hunter respects that.

And Batcher, of course, is always the best dog!

That ending, while bittersweet, was satisfying as fuck.

It also leaves open the possibility that the surviving members of the Batch (Echo included) fought with Rex to overthrow the Empire during the time of the OT. (That fits Sabine’s narration at the end of Rebels when she mentions clones (plural) fighting with Rex. At that point, the only other surviving Seelos Squad member was Wolffe, so the other clones had to come from somewhere.)

Anyway, the Bad Batch ended so well. I’m teary and very satisfied.

Let's get into this "Tech is dead" thing...

Until someone from the show confirms that Tech is dead, I don't believe it. We've seen this before. Echo died in an explosion. Nope. Ahsoka fell when she dueled Vader. That didn't stick. Maul, Palpatine, Leia, Mace Windu...okay, that last one is still in the air. But my point is that we never saw a body. Face it. If they wanted Tech dead, they would have given him a shoulder wound. I lost track of how many times that proved fatal this season.

For starters, it would be a very bad move! Tech was probably the most loved character on the show even before they further developed his character this season. To remove him from the show would deprive a lot of people of someone who gives them a feeling of true representation in Star Wars.

Then there's Phee. That last "conversation" she tried to have with him was awkward and very specific. They animated him in such a way that he was obviously avoiding eye contact. He was uncomfortable. He didn't want to say goodbye. I don't think he knew how. It looked to me like they were setting us up for a reunion scene.

Now let's talk about Hemlock. Him being in possession of Tech's goggles is another reason I think he's alive. When he held out the goggles and said, "I'm afraid this is all I could salvage," it suggested to me that Hemlock has him. It doubly struck me since he had just used the term "fascinating" in the same spirit of scientific curiosity Tech had used earlier in the season with the Zillo Beast. The only way I can see Tech being alive but not captured in this scenario would be if there is a raging river or deep crevasse beneath the train and all they found nearby was the goggles. (Which means that, if he is alive, we will finally get that goggleless Tech we've been wanting to see so badly all this time.)

Let's not forget the most important thing of all. Tech is an incredibly capable soldier. He is resourceful, exceptionally well-trained, and was fully kitted-out when he fell. It's not hard for me to imagine him using a grappling hook and cable or other means to keep from falling to his death. He said it himself. He has the "ability to think clearly in stressful situations". And if Hemlock has him, he's going to need it.

All this gives me great hope for season three. If Hemlock does have Tech, he would have him transferred to Mt. Tantiss on Weyland. Now, Crosshair and Tech are together with other no-longer-Imperial clones. Omega is there with Nala Se, who wants Omega as far from there as possible. Nala Se is no longer in a cell, but working in a lab—under guard, but with access to equipment. Factor in Omega's clone sister and this has all the earmarks of an epic escape episode.

Fingers crossed.

Emerie looks like a kicked puppy here and I blame Hemlock and Nala Se for everything. She has spent who knows how many years with Hemlock. So really she’s breaking down because she really thought she was doing a good thing until Omega came along. And I also blame Nala Se for giving her to Hemlock in the first place. God they both suck. But Emerie is such a great character. I know she has a million death flags, but I actually hope they don���t kill her. Think of all the potential future stories.

Im baaaaack with my favorite hyperfixiation a family found series of one of my favorite sagas, i love bad batch so much you have no idea, i wish a could do more drawings but im really bussy so im working on it, i dont know if you notice but i love omega, she is my favorite character and im so curious about her story and origin, she is the representation of hope and unity also she is the one who usually speaks for the clones and demand their rigths and freedom, so i tried to show that on this drawing painting her with more shiny and warm colors,
