we’ll get the obvious out of the way, there are many different locations you can shift to anon !! and i personally don’t know what your interests and hyperfixations are :( but ! i still want to help in any way i can ≈ so here are a list of general ideas and suggestions and maybe some inspo into different realities to which you (any of you!) can shift !! and ofcs you can tweak it all to your liking xx

—» shifting at its core is self indulgent and the first example i can think of is your favourite childhood books, movies and shows — the kind of self indulgence where you go back to what made your life sparkle as a child, what made you believe in the impossible, what made you wish the impossible was real, whether it’s fairies, dragons, mermaids, or monsters going to high school, you should take a trip down memory lane and figure out what had you rushing to finish your meal to go watch the latest episode, or work hard at your homework so you could buy the next edition of the game. there’s also the media consumed in your teenage years, the kinds of media that helps you feel like you were escaping and yet at the same time like you were understood

examples include : hogwarts , narnia , my little pony , monster high , ever after high , how to train your dragon , percy jackson and the olympians , h2o , pixie hollow , barbie fairytopia/mermaidia , hilda , bridge to terabithia , wizards of waverley place , minecraft , power rangers , tmnt , disney princesses , little women , gilmore girls , studio ghibli , etc.

—» there are also the realities where you play a part in the bigger picture, you are a significant piece in a vast and intricate puzzle, you stand among your peers, your friends, as someone to be recognised, maybe you’re looking for some thrill? some excitement? some sort of battle or mystery or revolution where you can fight for the underdog or reclaim some form of power — be careful if you do choose to explore these places, but i’m sure you’ll handle it just fine

examples include : marvel/mcu/the avengers/spiderverse , dc/justice league/the arrowverse/smallville , the hunger games , the walking dead , supernatural , teen wolf , the maze runner , the vampire diaries , pretty little liars , gossip girl , mean girls , outer banks , criminal minds , brooklyn nine nine , the rookie , dune , star wars , avatar: the last airbender , james cameron’s avatar , jurassic park/world , pirates of the caribbean , twilight , etc.

—» conversely, your dr doesn’t even need to be fantastical, sometimes, the things that bring us comfort are in fact the most relaxing, they slow our lives down for whatever time we spend engaging in them, they let us unwind and unravel any burden we’ve unknowingly put on ourselves, the dr doesn’t even need to be based on some form of media, it could be your dream life and/or career

examples include : better cr (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) , cafe/barista , librarian , farmer , florist , artist , museum curator , boarding school , summer camp , bookstore owner , writer , painter , photographer , chef , designer , animator , game developer , director , etc.

Your DR is not something you need to earn or suffer for.

No, you don't have any unfinished business, any lesson you need to learn, some "blockage" you need to remove, something you need to do in this reality FIRST to shift.

Even if you think you're ready or not or if you're actually ready or not, it doesn't matter cuz your dr self has always been in that reality so ???? You don't go to sleep trying to be ready to be in this reality you already are, You don't wake up here feeling ready or not, you just do. Same with your dr. If you are in your DR you just are.

You don't have to do a certain method to go

.. DESTINY IS A WEIRD THING. ISN'T IT?

𓂅 you come from a small country where magic folks usually don't go to a wizardry and witchcraft school; so, your mother gives you the opportunity to go to england and live with her sister, an aunt you never met because the two of them stopped talking almost 10 years ago. at first you couldn't believe you mama's words. what the hell were you supposed to do in britain? you knew it was your mother's home country, before she moved there to marry your dad, but you just didn't care. but adults are adults, and she made a decision.

poppy pomfrey. that was the name of the aunt you just discovered you had. poppy is your mother's older sister and they were always very close, until despite not having spoken for years due to a fight the two had years ago. your mother knew that poppy wouldn't think it twice about welcoming you in her house, and she still wrote a letter for you to deliver to her.

and just like that, you found yourself in completely unfamiliar territory. it felt like a completely new world! BUT. unbeknownst to those who passed by you (and even yourself), it was as if an old story was repeating itself. as the reincarnation of merlin (not that anyone knew, of course) you are capable of formidable abilities, but you never had never been able to do anything so powerful given the lack of knowledge that you had about magic (so, hogwarts will DEF teach you something!!!!!). unbeknownst to you — and anyone else, really, you are one of the two halves of the same coin who would change history forever. the other half of the coin: the reincarnation of the once king arthur pendragon.

funny, how history was always destined to repeat itself! you and your s/o (if you don’t have it, your platonic soulmate) were destined since centuries to accomplish what in the future would forever be remembered as one of the most important moments in history, a source of stories to tell children and to study in the most prestigious universities (both magical and muggle).

you and the other half of the coin, who would resurrect camelot more powerful and magical than ever. (you can look more in depth about the arthurian legend to expand the lore!!)

some powers you can script: you are a dragonlord (able to talk to dragons and/or you can have a very close relationship with them), astral projection, telekinesis, reality manipulation, the ability to bring anyone back to life, able to cast very ancient spells, immeasurable magical powers, magical perception, telepathy, pyrokinesis, electrokinesis, atmokinesis, can animate inanimate objects, magical shield, high magical resistance, expert swordsman, high intelligence and wisdom.

now, you had to leave france. you knew that the [ pureblood english family of your choice ] were a very important family in the united kingdom, but you didn't understand why they needed to took you that far away. but, the contract said that you and [ your choice ] were meant to be married, and there you are: in britain, not knowing your true divine origins, and about to understand that you going to england wasn't a mere coincidence … more like destiny. the war against voldemort was about to start, and you were the final piece.

( you!) zaravian were the troubled kid of the most noble and most ancient pureblood and royal house. first of all: at first, everyone thought you were the bastard child of helle zaravian, just because the scandalous baby didn't look like all the others zaravian before. it didn't matter how many spells the mediwizards had done to check the legitimacy of the baby, you are a truly member of the house. why because you are different from your parents remained a total mystery.

secondly, but most important, you are a brat ⸺ you couldn't stop the words coming out of your mouth and you didn't care about the consequences: if you don't like a situation, then you would have let anyone near you know it too. this was a major problem since the purebloods would rather be dead then let someone humiliate their own name. it was pointless how many times the parents tried to educate you on good manners, you will forever have the last word.

VENOM AND WRATH: HOUSE MOTTO. your grandfather told you that you have the true zaravian spirit, since your words could be as evil as the venom and that you had the same patience as a dragon trapped in a cage (so, none). the family's motto raised you into the person she are nowadays; this is why lord lycaon zaravian, the granfather who made history when he was in his youth, always told you to never stop having the last word. you were born to be heard. your commands are worthy of those of a leader, but the only one who seemed to believe this it was your grandfather. he made the smart decision to don't get on your bad side: his intuition was never wrong, and he thought that this will save his life in the future. a leader always recognises another leader.

now, a bit of family lore: lycaon zaravian. 1942. at the time he was twenty-four years old and had freshly taken his royal crown by his father, who was in his death bed. the war world ii in the muggle world began and, unfortunately, it had their percussion in the wizarding world because of the muggleborns and halfbloods; a lot of them taken away because of who they were. lycaon had the misfortune to start his empire in the middle of a war, but nothing stopped his ambitious self. even if the purebloods couldn't care less about the muggleborns and halfbloods, lycaon knew better: those where his people, and he was their king. going to war to save his people who were not pureblood made lycaon a legend, kids studied about him in history classes at giubiana and beauxbatons, and the people under his empire people were more united than ever after the war.

imagine his disappointment when his first son, now king, revealed to be a man with no honour: when he decided to send far away the youngest members of the family for a ‘better education’ (you and your younger brother; because they were, his words, not perfect purebloods and way too talkative) lycaon knew that his dear italy was ruined under his hands. and gods forbid that lycaon would let his first grandson (your older brother) who was exactly like your dad, have the crown.

while you and your younger brother were forced to go to hogwarts, under the influence of noble purebloods of the sacred 28 and finally have some discipline, your grandparent was already planning something that would have him arrested for treason. you were more of a great leader and zaravian than your father will ever be: and a good way to let everyone see it too is to go exactly where a war is about to be.

a word between worlds, my dreamland is my main reality. it's the place i will shift to first and my intention is to permashift here, for it to be like a home base kinda thing. i will shift from here to my drs, then back until i shift again.

i called it my dreamland because i don't reallyyyy like the term waiting room, wtf am i waiting for? waiting rooms are miserable and i'm having the time of my life. i literally have dreamed of living a life like this since i was little, it's just so comforting.

all of that said, let me not lie, the lyric 'i can't stop you putting roots in my dreamland' from the song ivy by taylor swift (the best song to ever be made, i have a dr based on the story) was the real reason i called it this, otherwise it would be called my home reality or something boring.

it's not fully scripted, i'm still learning about it and figuring stuff out so things might change a little.

so, all of the houses in this world are completely separate and almost isolated (they have charms so that you can only see the houses after entering the gates). all houses are gated, so they're all very private. i want it to be very magical and whimsical.

i scripted that no one can enter my gate without a direct invite from me, it works both ways too so i can't enter anyone else's gate without them inviting me. i'm thinking it will maybe work like an enchantment (?) but i didn't script anything about how most things work so ig i will find out when i get there.

my house is completely self cleaning, i don't have bills for anything, almost everything runs off magic. i also scripted out floods or fires or anything like that.

everyone in this world is a shifter!!! kinda because i want to experience a life where shifting isn't frowned upon but mainly because i know i'll just feel so safe in a world like that. we all just mind our own business too, so very peaceful. i toyed with the idea of being the only person in the world but that's SO SCARY?? i just know i would freak out even with safety scripted, it would mess with my head heavy so i have to have other people even if we don't interact much or at all.

in this world, there is literally nothing i have to worry about. i scripted out all danger, i don't have school or work or anything, i can literally just frolic and focus on my drs.

time doesn't exist in the way it does here, days still pass, it still switches between day and night, there's still different seasons, all of that, but like the concept of years and months doesn't exist and no one ages. basically i have all the time ever to sort my drs and stuff without having to worry about anything else.

i haven't actually scripted a family or friends or anyone except my pets from my cr. will i get lonely? probably, that's why i scripted that i can summon in anyone or anything from any of my realities and i can send them back when i want to be alone again (sorry).

no natural disasters, no extreme weather, all animals are friendly and can communicate with humans.

there is a place where i can go to "buy" or trade stuff. i haven't fully figured out the currency and how it works because technically no one really has jobs lmao. it's more of a trade system but like there's still stores? girl idk i'm just trusting that it will work out because it's too confusing for me to script, i'm still figuring it out.

i can find anything and everything i want, if i go into town for something specific, i will find it easily. it's never crowded, everyone sticks to themselves and it's never too loud.

my childhood dog is there with me, she passed away last year and i miss her more than anything, she's my biggest motivation to shift - i just want to see her and hold her again.

i have stables outside my house and i have three horses (willow, dorothea, avalon).

i can change the weather and season whenever i want, i'm sick of missing autumn in summer and winter in spring, release me.

spiders don't exist. i'm so sorry, they're very beautiful but i'm too scared of them and i don't wanna have to kill them.

i don't NEED to eat, sleep, drink, or anything. like, nothing will happen if i don't, but i do have access to any food that i want and it tastes way better than it does here.

i have my all of my devices that i have here and i'm logged into all of my accounts so i have access to tumblr, tiktok, my pinterest scripts, my notion scripts, my notes app, etc etc.

social media exists, but literally everyone are shifters so we all just post stories from our drs and scripts and everything.

i can change my appearance in any mirror and i always have a lil pocket mirror on me - i can change into my different dr selves too.

all of my favourite fanfics exist so i can reread them all for the first time again.
