OOC. — INTRODUCTORY POST !

Greetings, everyone! My name is mon (the mod), 22, he/him. My main is @monnarchives and I like to post about my hyperfixations, shitposts, art, and all the other stuff that makes me happy !

Please allow me to introduce this new roleplay blog on the block! This blog is exclusively made and penned for the character 'Stick', who is portrayed by the actor Richard Stites, who appears in the beautifully haunting film, Dead Poets Society (1989) !

For continuity purposes, the universally acknowledged setting of the film is at Welton Academy, Vermont, in the academic year 1959. However, due to the lack of social media, and the internet as a whole at the time, some creative (modern) liberties will have to be at play.

Stick's character is underutilized and an undeveloped one, background at best, but that's actually the reason why I like him so much! Just like a blank canvas waiting to be painted upon, he has so much potential for future characterization and fleshing out; there is nothing that is set in stone. Come join me as I create, mold, and develop my own interpretation (headcanons, interests, relationships, etc.) for this wonderful character! Since his canon name is just a nickname, I've taken on the liberty of thinking about his full name. On here, it will be Mr. Sterling H. Spick.

I've also made a separate dossier/biography page for him, which can be found here, but it is still a work in progress! I will add to it, gradually of course, over the duration of my journey with him.

I’m actually so done, i’m NEVER helping anyone with trig ever again. We had a test today, and Charlie did so horrible that even with my intensive overnight help (we studied until 2) he GOT A D. “Oh but cameron! It’s better than an F!” I DONT CARE.

Well, I managed to bring myself to audition. We’ll see what happens, but hopefully I’ll get a part.

I’m doing this for myself, regardless of what happens.

I’m trying to prepare for this upcoming audition, but I’m still not over what happened the first time when my father got involved.

…This might be harder to do than I thought.
