For any Danny Phantom reboot, I'd rather have a Spiderverse/TMNT Mutant Mayhem/Nimona-type, hyper-stylized animated movie than anything live action (or the real way we need Danny Phantom The Movie: Stop Motion Animated). Live action would have to be 80% CGI anyway for all the ghost villains, sci-fi weapons, and superpower effects. It'd have to be another Marvel-esk "Actors on a Green-Screen Set" movie (100% why Tom Holland is getting attention for it). Danny Phantom was designed to be animated and even live action would have to rely on animation, so it should just, stay animated.

Danny Phantom Reboot Thing?
So here's the thing
I am kinda making a project thing off of a joke from my sister.
I am now writing out summaries for the next two seasons of Danny Phantom.
I want some plot episodes, some chill ones, etc.
I am putting in a bunch of leftover plot holes from cannon, stuff from fannon and so on. Ghost King, Wesley weston, some more time shenanigans, sojourn lore, etc.
I have 27 episodes ideas/summaries out of my goal of 40
And I need some help with more ideas.
The thing is that I kind of want it to keep the charm/vibe of the original show, so no crossovers really, throw on the tropes, and fun stuff like that. But it can touch some darker topics, just not too graphic, ya know?
This is my brain dump board
This is the formal list, it is not done yet, but it will have everything in the right order, good summaries, and full sentences.
I turned on comments on the docs for whoever wants to help, and please reply or repost with any ideas on here will be much appreciated
Thank you!!

Dp x dc idea:
Danny & Co joining the Justice League and everything...but it's that wonderful DC AU where Bruce died in Ethiopia instead of Jason and Tim decided to be Dad (TM) of Jason's Robin and runs around as kid Batman for awhile (eventually becoming full legit Batman).
Danny & Co joining up after all of that, they have only known Tim as Batman (and for fun let's make this Brian Dead where Danny & Tim are dating, or are dancing around each other, maybe Super Brain Dead because I love Kon being involved).
Anyway, Tim is Danny & the Pham's Batman...and then they ended up accidently in the normal DC universe and meet Bruce Wayne Batman and immediately are like "Press X For Doubt" about the whole thing
Danny, squinting suspiciously: who the fuck are you?
Bruce: I'm Batman
Danny: No the fuck you aren't
Elle: Yeah no way, I know Batman, Batman's a sleep deprived twink
Tim (as Red Robin) walks in
Danny: holy shit they fucking shrunk Red Robin
Tim: What??
Elle: Okay what the fuck, first Batman isn't a twink and now Red Robin is???

Has there ever been a more frustrating show than Danny Phantom? Like the greatest idea for a superhero show ever, and it's weighed down by its stagnant "wannabe-vector" art style, Nickelodeon's discomfort with mentioning death in any capacity, blatant conservative misogyny, homophobia, and transphobia, and a show runner who wanted the show to be Star Wars so bad, he put the planet Hoth in the after life. It does everything in its power to knee-cap its potential at every turn, and people are still making fanart despite all of that, because the concept is just that juicy.

With all the DPxDC crossovers here I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone take a stab at giving Danny the Absolute treatment. That is, reimagining his story with one crucial element removed.
My pitch: Danny without the ghost zone.
In this universe, there is no separate dimension that only ghosts inhabit. They're all in our world but can't be seen by people most of the time.
Jack and Maddie still built the portal, believing in a ghost zone, but all it did was collect ambient ghost energy and release it onto Danny. After that it just went inert.
Not only is this a big change in how the DP universe works but it would give another challenge to Danny. He can't simply catch ghosts and release them into the Ghost Zone. Instead he's left with three options.
Help resolve the ghost's issues, letting them find peace and/or move on.
Destroy them.
Trap them in the thermos and leave them there until 1 or 2 are possible.
Being forced to keep ghosts imprisoned indefinitely or flat-out destroy them would take its toll on Danny, and depending on what his support system is like in this universe, could make things even worse for him.
(Irt support personally I like some variation of this.)

Post-Canon Idea
Been thinking about Adult/30s Danny being a teacher as a career choice. It's so funny, like, imagine:
what grade level would he teach? [Highschool would be funny, Middle school would be funny, Elementary school would be adorable]
Imagine him making lesson plans. [It's funny to me!]
How would he decorate his classroom if he was allowed?
What class subject would he teach, and how funny would it be if it was something like Home Ec. or P.E. [I'm thinking math teacher though]
What would he wear as a teacher? [polo and khakis??] What would he wear on casual Fridays?
Danny wearing space pun shirts would be really funny if the class he taught had nothing to do with space.
Would his class think he's inexplicably spooky? Would other people at the school spread the rumor that he's spooky but his class is like "what are you talking about??? He's a dork???"
Working at Casper High would be so funny. He's back in the freaking building again. Otherwise I think I'd stick him somewhere else. (Elmerton /j)
Would make a funny crossover premise. "The new [substitute?] teacher Mr. Fenton". Very silly.
Funny also if Sam and Tucker have "cooler" jobs than Danny. Or if Tucker becomes rich and famous and no one believes Danny that they're friends.
The mental image of Danny shopping for school supplies and accidently meeting Mr. Lancer at the store is so funny. How fast do you think Mr. Lancer would clock him? He'd take in what he's buying and work from there or the look in Danny's eyes gives him away immediately.
I'm gonna draw this later i stg it's so funny to me.

Yoooooooo.
I’ve been bitten by the bug, and ye olde nostalgia got me thinking about Danny Phantom again, so I decided to play into that. I recently found the Show’s Pitch Bible, and it got me thinking about how I’d handle the reboot. On top of tweaking Jack and Maddie to make them less bumbling morons and more eccentric geniuses, I’d be aging up the crew, and settling Amity Park in Arkham County up New England way.
Danny, as you can probably tell from his human design, would be somewhat milquetoast, with grungy alternative leanings. Good at science, bad at math. Danny is, at his core, a good kid who loves his family. But he is still a kid.
I’ll probably go into them more as I work on the other characters, but I want to give Tucker, Sam, Jazz, and the Fenton parents more to do, even if it is just in the background. But for now, the Fenton parents definitely have only recently started Fenton Works. It’s been a lifelong dream, and between the two of them they’ve reached a point with their savings that it’s now a possibility. Maddie is a respected physicist, and Jack is… a bit of everything really. Test pilot, super spy, but mostly he’s an engineer. Maddie figures out how a thing works, and Jack can build it. The world of academia was… shocked when the most prominent scientific super couple announced they would be devoting the rest of their lives to pursuing superstitious pseudoscience, and this announcement has called their previous credibility into question, but no one can deny that Dr and Mister Fenton get results, if anyone can prove the existence of the supernatural, it’s the Fentons. Both are haunted by a supernatural experience from their youth.
Tucker Foley would probably have escaped the nerd label by his sheer programming and tech repair skills alone, if it wasn’t for the fact that he’s also a total anime geek, and a self proclaimed furry. Tucker is an unabashed nerd, and not the suave tv friendly type. Cosplays, ttrpg, mmos, comic and action figure collecting, you name it, he does it. Proudly. And he’s been Danny’s best friend since they were in diapers. Inevitably some of that has rubbed off on Danny.
Sam Manson is relatively new in town. She moved in with her grandmother midway through freshman year after things finally came to a head with her super conservative parents. Falling somewhere between socialist and anarchist, classic goth and punk, Sam is a rebel, an activist, and everything your parents warned you about. She’s also the coolest person Danny and Tucker know. Sam has a borderline obsession with the occult, ghosts, demons, witches, you name it, she can’t get enough of it. Which may or may not have something to do with a family secret relating to why certain members of the Manson family have purple eyes?
Jazmine Fenton is Danny’s smarter, prettier older sister. Fascinated by psychology, and obsessed with figuring out the inner workings of the mind. In high school she was a geek. In college she is thriving. Fortunately, Fenton Works is close to the university she’s attending, and that means she’s never far from home, and more importantly never far from her family. Though her relationship with her parents is rocky, she’s been trying to mend fences after getting some perspective on the world. She and Danny were close growing up, and shared everything, so his recent trend of playing everything close to his chest is unnerving for her. She doesn’t understand when she stopped be Danny’s best friend.
That’s alls I gots for now. Maybe I’ll play around with writing a fic, or maybe a comic or something. We’ll see how this all develops.

It’s funny when the DC fans get annoyed that half the fandom hasn’t kept up with the entire extended DC universe and know everybody’s stories and backstories and different versions and shit
Danny Phantom had 3 seasons of 20 minute episodes and a handful of comics and most of us haven’t even seen that (and do not intend to 🙌)
Meanwhile people are being confused at me for Jack Fenton liking both fudge and also ham, which came up in every single episode I saw as a kid
My darlings
My beloveds
If you want your preferred versions of the DC characters in a prompt, you may well be the only person who can do it
So do it and tag it and I’ll come eat it along with the horde and you’ll never be rid of any of us

If the Danny Phantom remake will ever exist, what do you expect to see? I heard from somewhere in first there should 4 full seasons and possibly Vlad's redemption arc but the project had financial problems, so, some episodes in seasons 3 looks like a mix of two and there're so much epic in this season.
I dearly, desperately do not want a Danny Phantom live-action remake to happen. I might be interested in an animated reboot or continuation, but I'd still be extremely wary. I'm just so, so tired of my favorite media being rebooted, remade, and/or franchised to hell (e.g., Marvel, Star Wars). That said, I would have loved to see what they would have done with a fourth season. A Vlad semi-redemption arc. Dani figuring out her own identity apart from Danny or Vlad. An emotional reconciliation between Danny's parents and Vlad. A real truce (and teamup) between Danny and Vlad. More ghost lore. A newer, bigger ghost threat for Danny and Co to deal with. More Clockwork. More cheese. More gadgets. More mayhem.
In a way, A Glitch in Time gave us so much of that, which I think explains why it was such a huge success, and I'm really looking forward to the next graphic novel. I firmly believe that's the best way to continue in the spirit (ha) of Danny Phantom without resorting to remakes or reboots—which I'm convinced are more to capitalize on Millennial nostalgia than any amount of artistic integrity or love for the source material.

Ironically, Vlad would approve of such ruthless business practices.

Okay, let's talk about the post below (with the ghost!Magnus).
In fact, I can't stop thinking about the funny and creepy AU.
According to the plot, Magnus dies sometime at the end of the first season. By that time, he had already become Dan's "friend". So the main characters are obviously sad about his death. But evil does not sleep, and soon new enemies attack the Earth. The help of the "Second Strongest Brawler in the World" is sorely lacking. Soon, the main characters find out that ghosts and the afterlife exist (and in the second season there was actually a series about it). So they decide that, why not, it's worth a try. They're trying to summon Magnus from the dead. And they succeed in this.
The situation turns out to be quite strange. Magnus seems quite happy to help fight evil, and he still wants to protect those he loves. But it's pretty hard to keep existing in the real world when you look… like this. So most of the time, dude has to stay at Dan's house until his help is needed. And even at such moments, he has to try to hide from all peaceful people so as not to scare them.
To make matters worse, Magnus STILL can't use Bakugans in combat in a natural way. He used to be able to use his gauntlet, but such devices are not very suitable for the dead. So for now, AAAnimus Inc. is developing a new version of gauntlet (scientists are incredibly angry that instead of studying the afterlife, they have to think about how to help a dead boy play his favorite game). Until the end of development, the only way Magnus can help in a fight is to stand behind Dan and shout in his ears about HOW BAD he is fighting and that EVERYTHING needs to be done COMPLETELY DIFFERENTLY. Fighting as one is incredibly close, but at the same time, they hate each other now more than ever.
