(also posted to Garden of Shadows)
Here is some grass! It's actually green, unlike most of the lawns around here after this summer.
I made a new lush terrain replacement, plus some terrain paints to go with it - or, you know, any other terrain. It's a little more 'neutral' than most of the other lush terrain replacements I've found (not as bright, dark, yellow, etc.) and I've been pretty happy planning my new neighbourhood with it! There are six terrain paints - two match the lot view texture (03) and the neighbourhood outskirts (01), and the other four are variations of those two.
I also made a version of my default road replacement to match this terrain, which is included in the download along with the overlay rug.
Previews are shown with dreapirate's lighting mod, so colours may vary on your end.
There are a couple of other preview images you can view in this album, or at the link above to my post on GoS.

This was fun to make honestly! I defaulted all terrain paints to go together nice with my current terrain defaults made by @suratan-zir!
Some of the textures are just the original ts2 textures re-scaled to look sharper, some are by suratan-zir, the sand and rocks are by Voeille and some are from ts3 but edited to look closer to the ts2 ones :) I made this mostly for personal use so some textures may look wonky or don't really repeat the pattern properly but it's decent enough in my opinion lol

Overgrown Above Ground Pool
The Overgrown Above Ground Pool set comes with several decorative above ground pool items to enhance your Sims’ summer back yard look. Pools require a lot of work to maintain to prevent moss and algae growth, so be sure to utilize your Pool Cleaning Supplies and Floating Pool Chemical Dispenser to keep the moss and algae at bay, or don’t! for a unique overgrown pond look.
Pool items come in standard blue, light blue, and gray, with 5 overgrown progression swatches showcasing new, sun-bleached, dirty, mossy, and extra-mossy swatch progressions.
Check out the YouTube trailer of the set here:
10 new items:
Overgrown Above Ground Pool Deco
Above Ground Pool Ladder Jumpstand
Above Ground Pool Ladder Deco
Above Ground Pool Tarp
Dilapidated Pool Ball
Floating Pool Chemical Dispenser
Above Ground Pool Foundation
Mossy Pool Water
Mossy Dirt
Pool Cleaning Supplies
Are the items functional?
Sort of.
The Overgrown Above Ground Pool Deco is functionally a fountain, so your Sims can use the interaction “Toss Coin” into it.
The Floating Pool Chemical Dispenser has a new, custom “Clean Pool” interaction that plays a chemical dispensing vfx.
The Above Ground Pool Foundation can be applied to pools raised above the ground to give the look of an above ground pool that your Sims can swim in.
The Above Ground Pool Ladder Jumpstand can be used against real Pools as a jumpstand, which requires Get to Work to function.
All items are 100% 3D modelled and textured by me
Almost all items are Base Game Compatible with all necessary LODs
The Above Ground Pool Ladder Jumpstand requires Get to Work to function.
Find build items in this pack easily by searching "Above Ground Pool" or "Kaiso"
Build items will not show up under this search, so here is where to find them!
Above Ground Pool Foundation is under “Foundations”
Mossy Pool Water is under “Water Styles”
Mossy Dirt is under “Terrain Paint”

Terrain-to-Floor Collection
You know what drives me nuts in The Sims 4? (Many things) but in this case it’s that most terrain paints don’t have matching floor tilings and the ones that DO have matching floors do not have matching names. E.g. is how the terrain paint “Two-tone stone” does in fact have a matching flooring but instead the floor is called “Antique Stone Tile”. WHY.
Well, here’s a remake of most of the non-grass terrain paints made into floor tilings.
Just search for the name of the terrain paint you want the matching floor tile for (in Build/Buy catalog) and you shall find it!

Note that some Terrain paints and Floor tilings seem to differ in color during certain seasons/weather conditions!
Let me know if you would like me to make any other terrain paint into floor tiling or a specific floor tiling into terrain paint. I'll update this post if I make more

Terrain Paint Collection
These are all ground cover textures from World of Warcraft. Some of them are just too stinking cute, honestly. ♥
13 dirt terrain paints, 19 stone, and 31 grass/flowers 😬 All the files are numbered and shown on images under the cut so you can pick and choose which you want to keep from the zip file. Unfortunately they aren’t in numerical order in the build catalog, but they all are at the end of each terrain category. Sorryyy.
Download here (CurseForge)

As I was digging through stuff for other stuff, I found more stuff! Since it's officially September where I live and I love falling-leaf-season, have some more world textures turned terrain paint.
Download the zip file on SFS
Spooky season is approaching!! Everybody get ready for it!

You know what the advantage is of taking an entire year to make this? Having it done for The Sims 2's 20th birthday – and, in 5 months, The Sims's 25th!
(ReShade off on the right.)
@philosimy's marvelous Old Town neighbourhood provided the base and the inspiration, and you should go put some respect on their hard work before you download this. It might even be what you came here looking for in the first place!
Their post has all the info you'll need about the SC4 terrain this neighbourhood was built on, and a list of the CC you'll need to use it:
Numenor: Maxis ‘Lost & Found’ #9: Waterfall & River
Criquette:
Lush (Temperate) Road DR & Neighborhood Road Transparency Fix
Road bridges set
Ultimate railway set
Haut-gothique: Age of Empires 3 conversions - part 1
Psychosims: Maxis Lost & Found - Plesiosaur
The good news is that that's all the CC you'll need to use the version with built lots. The bad news is that you'll need Ultimate Collection or all EPs and SPs to make everything work the way it was made. The even worse news is that it can't be perfectly 1:1 or as-is functional, but every lot is as close as I could get to how they appear in The Sims 1 Complete Collection. Basically, do a pass with your own CC and you'll make it nice.
DOWNLOAD (SFS)
To install:
Check your Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods folder to ensure it does not already contain a folder called “B407.” If it does, you will have to delete that neighbourhood to make room for this one.
Download and unpack OldTown2.rar.
Place the folder inside (named “B407”) in your Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods folder.
Start your game and play.
None of the lots in this neighbourhood have been so much as touched by a Sim to reduce game-breaking issues. The neighbourhood itself contains no parts that will break your game. Objects may not appear in your game as advertised in this post, depending on your mix of default replacements and object fixes.
If you're only looking for individual lots, they're in the same SimFileShare folder as the neighbourhood and are 100% CC-free. I'll be making posts with caps and details for each one. I won't be making TS1 Sims to go in them, though; many others have done a better job than I could. Have fun finding or making your own.
So, not a perfect conversion. This is partially due to the self-imposed no-CC requirement, and partially due to the very nature of the differences between Sims 1 and 2. If you have an intuition of how Sims 1 looks, you'll notice:
Spiral stairs in odd positions and longer linear stairs.
A lack of curved stairs.
Wide blank spaces between the contents of a beach lot and its shoreline.
Different distances between buildings on a lot or between a building and the edge of a lot.
Differently-shaped shorelines and bodies of water.
Different terrain shapes and paints.
Fences that occupy the edge of a tile rather than the tile itself.
I can't change the above because they are foundational differences between the two games. The below, however, are stylistic choices that you should absolutely trash and redo with your own game:
Foundations and decks replacing floors.
Incongruous build and buy items.
Empty shopping and game space in community lots.
Mod-Related Notes:
The only mod compatibility issue will be with road default replacements. This hood requires Criquette's to work (see CC list above).
Voeille's Seawater: lots with or near water need a pool tile or two added to work properly.
Some community lots contain career reward objects or similar hidden items. You do not need any CC for these to appear on the lots.
However, in order for lot visitors to use the microphones, you'll need lamare's community lot mic fix.
If you know of a collection of 1t2 CC, I'd love to link it here.

Garden At Home By Max20 4t2 Conversion
A conversion of a gorgeous, absolutely stunning set by Max20, Garden At Home.
Includes all items + 2 terrain paints. Everything is quarter tile placeable, smooth and non shiny - my usual routine.
All the seasonal plants (stay blooming in spring and summer because too pretty!):
Terrain paints (do not appear in the collection because adding them is not possible):
Planters require Honeywell's garden plot or its edited version by @lamare-sims (if you use our Planting Overhaul Mod) if you want to be able to plant harvestables in them:
Small planter can go on surfaces:
Wood shed is a functional composter (works with Planting Overhaul Mod), sims go through to use it though:
Repotting table is a functional flower arranging table:
Don't let the look of the bench deceive you - it's a normal functioning loveset, and if you align 4 pieces together (no cheats needed for that), everything becomes seamless and fits right under a nice looking tree (I got some for you right here ;):
Bird bath is a ladybug house, it spawns pretty butterflies and birds high up in the sky (cloned from this object by @hugelunatic):
Big greenhouse is an actual lamp (though its light is very subtle). It also intersects with objects and sims (meaning you can put furniture inside and sims will be able to go through it to use these objects):
And to crown it all, the trellis is a functional wedding arch:
Thank you and hugs go to @episims and @platinumaspiration for always being there for me and saving my objects multiple times 🤗
Compressed, clearly labelled. Collection file, picture and Lord Crumps' shadow file (needed for shadows) are included. Merged files.

UPDATE 14/03/2024
Fixed blue flashing inside the trashcan (thank you @lurking-lilibeth for report), you can get just the updated file here. Also updated archive as .zip so hopefully it fixes virus reports.
UPDATE 15/09/2024
Added a second version for the flower arranging table that is compatible with @picknmixsims' Crafting Skills mod. Both versions are now in a separate folder, be sure to choose only one! If you just want the Crafting Skills version without redownloading the archive - it's here. Also added a SFS link for the archive.

Pest Control by Twinsimming 🐞
Sims with dirty homes now run the risk of roaches spawning around their lot, similar to The Sims 2.
This is a script mod that can be placed in your Packages folder. It was built and tested on 1.69 but should work fine on 1.67.
Roaches
Once a day the number of dirty objects on your sim's home lot will be counted, and if the Dirty Threshold is met or exceeded, roaches have a chance of spawning.
There are three thresholds: Dirty, Filthy, and Vile. The dirtier the lot is, the more likely roaches are to spawn and in greater numbers.
Dirty Threshold = 5 dirty objects, 10% spawn chance (2 to 4 roach spawners)
Filthy Threshold = 10 dirty objects, 20% spawn chance (4 to 6 roach spawners)
Vile Threshold = 15 dirty objects, 30% spawn chance (6 to 8 roach spawners)
All sims in the active household will get the new Vermin custom moodlet that lasts 12 hours and subtracts -15, -20, or -25 points from your sim's mood depending on the threshold the lot meets.
Roaches spawning also carries a 10% chance of a sim getting sick (like TS2).
New Moodlet
Vermin: Given when roaches spawn on a sim’s home lot, lasts 12 hours, -15. -20, or -25 mood (inspired by TS2 memory)
Tuning
All of the tunable values can be found on the mod download page under the header “Tuning”.
Conflicts & Known Issues
Depending on the terrain paint, roaches may be harder to see. To find any roach spawners you may have missed:
Enter build/buy mode.
Enable buydebug cheat.
Look for any white boxes on your lot. Those are the roach spawners.
Enter live mode.
Stomp on the roaches.
Success!
This is a new script mod so there shouldn’t be any conflicts.

It's time to get nostalgic.
With this update of my Sims (2000) world, you can revisit every lot and every household from the Sims 1 in an open world experience in the Sims 3! This addition adds the Magic Town and Vacation Island area's, making this a complete Sims 1 world, that includes every Sims 1 neighborhood.
I apologize for the long delay in releases this update for this Sims 3 world. My real life has gotten very hectic, so it's been hard to make time for this project. I hope it was worth the wait and that you'll enjoy reliving the Sims 1 in this Sims 3 world.
Special thanks to @bunnybananasims @virtual-hugs @madraynesims @melisanne19 @thesims1master @ohrudi on Tumblr and
@OhBeeel and @Andr3sL0K0 on Twitter for helping me with beta testing! And Martine and Simsimillian at MTS for providing lovely terrain paints <3
Get the world + save file here: SFS download
If you enjoy my work, you can support me on Ko-fi <3 Thanks!
This world was made with every Sims 3 expansion pack (except for Into The Future), in addition the the High End Loft and Town Life stuff packs. You can install the world even if you do not own all of these packs. But the save file (which includes all of the premade sims, ghosts and some fixes) can only be played if you have all of these packs installed.
To everyone who has installed and played the previous version of my Sims (2000) world: to install this version, you'll need to uninstall the old one. If you have an active save file with the previous (1st) version of this world, please backup any households and builds you want to save to your library. Because that save file will probably become unplayable after installing the updated world file.
I have one little request… If you know any other long time simmers, please share this project with them. I would love it if as many people as possible get a chance to enjoy this nostalgic experience <3
Also, if you enjoy setting up high quality screenshots, I'd love to see them and use them to promote this world.

K-202 MOD ( AKA GROUND PAINTS ) MAJOR UPDATE 2024
Yesterday, walking inside Sims4Studio terrain files, I discovered something I didn't notice before ... 20 new base game files, after all other expansions ones ... Oo
When this happened ? I don't know :D I was confident, thinking we were more or less up to date with our k-mods ;) <--- sweet summer child ...
But we are not letting few files disturbing our zen :D So, here comes the k-202 Mod latest update with files ending with "20092024"
Enjoy !
Oh, we updated too some expansions terrain paints files here and there ;)
Stay tuned, some other news and releases are coming :) As we lost a lot of pictures and links during the servers transfer, we had to rebuild many stuff into the Sims 4 k-Faktory ... But we'll talk about this next time ;)
Have a super weekend everyone ! See you soon ;)
Download : HERE
As usually, if you think our work is worthing, we have a "Kofi" on our website ;)

heyyy everyone! a whole 2 months after i started on it, i finally come to you with my answer to @atomtanned's request for max20's garden at home set to be converted to the sims 2. it is not the entire set, i might go back and finish the missing pieces (mostly set deco) later; but for now, enjoy 31 new gardening-themed items for your games! 🌿
this set takes up a lot of file space, too much file space for simfileshare, apparently, so this download is hosted on mediafire only. to make up for this though, i've also uploaded the lot i used to preview all the items! you can grab it from the link below. aside from the cc in the preview, the only other thing it requires is a brick floor by @lordcrumps.
collection file and readme are included, as always. more previews and info are under the cut.
this conversion would not have been possible without @tvickiesims and @lamare-sims' garden center collection, from which i cloned and edited the planters in the set from. so shout out to both of them, their set goes amazingly with this one, so be sure to grab it too!
DOWNLOAD: CC SET | PREVIEW LOT 🍀 (warning: large file size)
again, credits go to max20 on patreon for the original ts4 meshes & textures, @tvickiesims and @lamare-sims for the planters i cloned the ones in the set from, and @honeywell-mts for their original garden plot, too. you're all amazing 💞
Close-Ups
click on the previews to enlarge them!
* i forgot to picture one of the planters in particular, the 'planter my mother frame', but you can view all the items in max20's original item list.
Items Included
Bath For Bird and Not Only -> 642 polys
Big River Rocks -> 440 polys
Clover Grass -> 1 swatch, Terrain Paint
Columnar Juniper -> 1464 polys
Columnar Juniper Short -> 1464 polys, repo'd to Columnar Juniper
Dry Fallen Leaves -> 1 swatch, Terrain Paint
Flowerbed Good Wood -> 1980 polys

Garden Gate Good Wood -> 3408 polys
Gardening Table -> 1992 polys
Hydrangea -> 3056 polys
Lilies -> 1098 polys
Log For Chopping Firewood -> 352 polys
Mini Greenhouse -> 676 polys
Outdoor Water Faucet -> 984 polys
Planter by Handy Wendy -> 188 polys
Planter Good Wood -> 438 polys
Planter My Mother Frame -> 434 polys
Planter with Bevel Good Wood -> 345 polys, repo'd to Planter Good Wood
Pots by Handy Wendy -> 285 polys
Potted Plant by Handy Wendy -> 464 polys
River Rock -> 118 polys
River Rocks -> 188 polys, repo'd to River Rock
Round Bench Good Wood -> 1968 polys
Seedling Starter Kit by Handy Wendy -> 508 polys
Set of Watering Cans by Handy Wendy -> 1084 polys
Side Bush -> 366 polys
Swing Chair Good Wood -> 3786 polys
Table Good Wood -> 236 polys
Tulips -> 672 polys
Wheelbarrow by Handy Wendy -> 1040 polys
Things to Note
The ColumnarJuniperShort is repositoried to the ColumnarJuniper.
The RiverRocks is repositoried to the RiverRock.
The PlanterWithBevelGoodWood is repositoried to the PlanterGoodWood.
The Planters are functional. They're cloned from tvickiesims and lamare-sims' garden planters, which are edits of Honeywell's pots.
Any garden plants included in this download do not have seasonal states. I tried to add them and gave up almost instantly. They do have overgrown states, though.
The GardeningTable is purely decorative, no slots either.
Some textures may be a bit blurry when you zoom in on them. No clue why, it might be like that in the OG download too :/
if there are any issues that you find with this set, please don't be afraid to let me know! happy simming, and when you download this, do keep in mind,
( @4t2ccdatabase )

[TS4CC] POLAR (PART 1): An Environmental Stuff Pack
Surprise! More stuff! This time, it is a set of props and terrain paints I made for a sims story I've been working on. It's "part 1" because there's just a handful more of items I need to make for the story, but I'm not quite there yet.
This is pretty niche, I know, but I thought I'd share anyway.
NOTES:
Everything is BGC! You do not need to access the debug menu to get to these.
29 items-- 20 big chunks of ice, 6 icy/snowy terrain paints, and 3 tundra terrain paints.
All the ice is recolored bits from EA's debug. Nothing should be more than a few thousand polys, so as long as you don't place like 29738 of these on a lot at once, you should be perfectly fine. (Most of them are less than 500 verts/polys, it's the really big ones that get up to 3k and there are only a few.)
LODs, norm/spec maps, shadows, included.
For storytelling, I highly recommend using the debug menu to access other EA rocks and world items.
I also recommend using TOOL (https://www.curseforge.com/sims4/mods/t-o-o-l) by TwistedMexi for off-lot decoration.
Finally, for weather cheats, I recommend using MCCC (https://deaderpool-mccc.com/downloads.html) to change the season and weather events.
TOU:
Do whatever, just please give credit!
NO shortlinks, paylinks, and NO SIMS FINDS.
Enjoy!! xxx

Sims 2 Lot Download: Goth Manor makeover lite
I received a stupid amount of requests to upload my makeover of the Goth manor, but due to the amount of CC used in that thing and the fact that my stuff it's all merged, I just can't. So I recreated the lot from scratch using the least amount of CC possible for you.
Required CC (NOT INCLUDED):
The recolor files of the 4t2 Vampires windows and doors converted by Kalimero78.
The recolor files of the 4t2 Townhouse windows converted by LordCrumps.
Notable differences from the version I have in my game:
The garden and the terrain painting (or lack of thereof);
The absence of a graveyard;
A slightly bigger lot size;
The interior walls and floors (they're all vanilla).
DOWNLOAD
(file size: 31mb /price: 75k, unfurnished)
I use a ton of defaults, so the lot will probably look a little different in your game!
Also, feel free to send me WCIFs from stuff seen in the "og" version if you'd like to add them in yourself.
As always, please let me know if you have any issues with the file.
