I made my own double demi flag because I recently realized I might be both demiromantic and demisexual?? Except I see it as one thing instead of separate?? Kind of like why the sunset aroace flag was made I think I can probably make a better explaination of flag color meanings when it's not almost 6 am and my adhd brain isn't running around lol lmao for now just think of it as. unity, between demiromantic and demisexual . wholeness :)

Being demiromantic is so weird, like I grew up expecting love at first sight but the only time I ever "caught feelings" is after a year or so of being best friends and then being in a QPR with someone! And now the feelings won't die after being broken up with them because they convinced themselves they were a toxic partner because they were offline most of the time!

Anyone have dating advice for double demis? Most of the advice I see assumes someone is allo and feels attraction regularly, or at least, enough of a passing interest to pursue someone. I really enjoyed being romantically involved the last (and only) time I ever was, but since it happens so rarely for me, it feels really impossible at times to meet someone I’ll be able to click with in that way.

The advice doesn’t have to be specific to romance, I guess, since I enjoyed my last QPR, too. But the combo of arthritis, autism, and being double demi makes it really hard to get out, meet people, know how to keep conversations going, and the like. And online dating intimidates me :/

Not to mention the DWARFISM which gives me such childlike proportions that it doesn’t occur to most people to ask for my number. Sigh.
