My Preview of Dorothy and Laurent!

Pre-Orders for the Team Confidence: Great Pretender Zine have been extended one final time to the 21st of this month! The stretch goal of the polaroid is 35 orders; let's make it happen!

So it looks like the new season of Great Pretender is gonna be more Dorothy centric.

One of my biggest issues I had in the previous seasons was how each case was meant as build up for this ultimate revenge scheme revolving around her. Despite her having little to no impact on the actual plot other than a brief mention in the end of Case 3 and a mostly flashback appearance in Case 4.

Hopefully this might make up for that a little.

Realizing that when Laurent tells Makoto "you're always so genuine" it calls back to Dorothy because SHE was always so genuine in how swindling and coning the rich made her happy. She never hid her enjoyment, she was very genuine just in a different way than Makoto and ohhh. The parallels grepre always puts between Dorothy and Makoto I'm SICK oughahhhhh. Laurent and grepre writers when I catch you.....

on one hand i do like eduarent bc theyre an interesting dynamic between the subtly obsessive freak and the naive arrogant fool esp in regards to how they interact and play around each others mere presences but on the other hand i think makoto should be allowed to skin laurent and eat his innards raw with zero legal repercussions
