current bedding situation:

i'm keeping the yellow quilt (which has seen some serious wear and tear but i can't afford to replace it right now) but everything else is going, i think. it their place:

at least that's the plan!

revisiting this post in light of it's time for a new transformation! i have loved it, though.

evolution of my bed

stage 1: new bed, old bedding. everything grey and black and red

stage 2: new painting inspired me to update the bedding to match. color scheme is now green, yellow, and orange

stage 3: painting was too heavy for command strips, so i moved it across the room and replaced it with a too-small tiger

stage 4: found a print in the right size and color which was also thematically appropriate and got it framed in green to bring it all together. (the string lights fell on me once too many times and are in storage for now)

it’s been a long road but i’m very very happy with this!

bonus: how it looks most days because vista burrows while i’m at work
