i was in 90s rnb music videos listening to older nct last night

i have this issue where like. i feel like my art is weird. not even like weird in an intentional kinda way  or a ‘cringe’ way or whatever judt sometimes i feel like its weird. doesnt quite translate whatever my ideas were or even make much sense to anyone that isnt me. i feel like i spend. so much time like. isolated from other people  and ill just be making art and coming up with ideas in this weird feedback loop with my brain that it just keeps getting distorted from what the idea originated from and starts only making sense to me. and i have no clue if any of what im saying even makes sense or is even true its just something i think about a lot and kinda? worry abt sometimes too? i feel like this kinda stems back from . okay so i have this massive bin in my room where i tend to put old sketchbooks and stuff in and this goes all the way back to when i first started really grtting into art as a hobby, and i like judt sitting down for a few hours sometimes and looking thru a bunch of shit in there. but sometimes i come across stuff from where i was drawing in one particular style for a while anf it was just startingn to like… become more and more distorted? this ties into a whole other side tangent i could go on abt but basically i have this problem with Art Styles where i feel like i have to follow certain rules and criteria with the stylization blah blah blah anyways so my original point js that after id been sticking with a certain way of stylizing thinggs for long enough it starts to become more exaggerated, and slowly ljke unrecognizable from whatever the fuck its supposed to represent or what it was originally supposed to look like. like uhh for a while i drew eyes in this very particular way where they were just little dashes. but sometimes id draw the dashed a bit closet than normally or kinda tilting towards each other and i though it looked cute so i kept doing this intentionally. until it would get to the point where in some drawings you couldnt even see the eyes. theyre judt one weird mark on the page. or sometimes i would have one eye a bit higher than the other and id keep doing that until theyre super misaligned. and this is jsut a really mundane example thrres others i feel whre like really bad looking back. like ‘how did anyone think this was even passable’ levels of bad.. and just. idk i have no clue where im going with this post its just this stuff has been bothering me for a while now and just. i dontknow. this isnt even entirely what im talking abt there weird patterns in my art constantly and its not in an interesting way its just. why do i do that. why is that Like That. and like this isnt somethingi should worry about so much but again i just think abt it a lot!!!!

Why do so many people seem to want to headcanon Jack and Maddie as bad parents?

Like, I understand from an outsiders perspective that Jack and Maddie aren't the most attentive parents, but y'all have to understand that that's a product of both the time the show was made, and frankly, a caveat to allow Danny to actually be Danny Phantom, right?

So I don't understand why it seems, at least here on Tumblr, that the predominant headcanon is that Jack and Maddie are bad parents.

And I'd like to clarify I'm not trying to criticize anyone. I've liked pretty much all the fics I've read on here, regardless of Danny's Parents, I'm just curious about a trend I feel like I'm noticing.

"im in the middle of watching": nikas like "oh is that so? then feel free to look on more. ah, i can keep my clothes on, right?"

ring is naming flowers. and kate apparently caught him in 4k so he is all flustered like "omg.. dont tell me u.. saw all of that?"

"i didnt see anything": ring is like but theres a grin on ur face.. ur kind of bad at lying.

"..im sorry": ring is like "when you apologize so sincerely like that, i feel bad for being surprised.."

okaayyy i think how it started is that im pretty sure i just gravitate towards pathetic nerdy boy characters with brown hair for some reason?? idk but i saw some fanart of him one time and it all just went downhill from there (my canon event fr) but also as i learned more about him and his character i liked him even more..,,,for example him being a reverend (idk why but i also gravitate to religion-related characters?? maybe it’s because my dad is a priest so ive always been able to associate myself with them a bit 🤷‍♀️) another thing is thayne’s seabury in general……zamn😍… + thayne said he likes to play him a little differently every time (energetic, stoic, stuck-up, ect) which i find really cool >_<

anyway i have no idea what im even talking about but it’s just like….,,,i have this bond with him or something and it’s hthfjfhhfhfhgdh,,,,,,i just find him as this annoying, snooty, stuck up man who LOSES a debate with someone around 28 years younger than him which is PATHETIC and why i love him as a character I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT IM SAYINGGG HELP😭😭

This one is it like wow I don’t know what to say,, I felt so fluttery at first thinking of my own lover and then she woke up and I FELT that. I FELT THAT!! the chances of ea actually creating a more in depth romance system in ts4 with this new ep is so slim i dont know why im even Bothering w hoping 4 that. but i would love it if the attraction system included appearance, characteristics, and if adult sims could get crushes too (teens can get crushes but theyre so like. pointless & weird & random, theres no 'attraction system' for it.) but the new kind of dates thing seems kind of..ugh. like i dont really know what they mean by the description but im just like . i HOPE that means well be getting new things to do on dates bc dates are so pointless lol....i hope the heartbreak/cheating system gets an update too.

but it sounds really lackluster to me & not at all enough content for an entire expansion pack. it seems like enough to fit in a game pack. like it seems a lot like the amount of content in my wedding stories. its just frustrating at this point, like the absolute bare minimum. its not even like EA is running out of ideas of what to do w the game bc theres a huge community of people asking for so many things and they just dont do it. a romance pack wouldve been the perfect opportunity to introduce a hotel/resort system, even bundle the pack with 2 worlds instead of 1, a holiday world and a regular world (as if theyd ever do that lmao), introduce more romantic interactions (no idea if theyre doing this but if i open the social wheel and theres not new kiss interactions, flirting interactions, etc. that actually OFFER something (like how the entire romance wheel in ts4 does nothing except get a bar up, i want interactions to actually matter), especially interactions specific to ages like teens and elders who are SORELY neglected. it wouldve been a great opportunity to include/update nightlife. like. i never played ts1/ts2 but hot date & nightlife are what im talking abt. like. give us clubs and an updated drinking system & ubers and shit 😑 i miss ts3 bachelorette partys when my sims would dance on the table and theyd have shirtless firemen come and dance with them. they couldve done sm more w this and i can already tell this pack is going to be so shallow w like 3 new 'special' items and nothing else. like ts4 is so clean and ts3/ts2 were so messy and they included the drama..there is no drama in ts4 😫 they couldve even included a more improved divorce/breakup system. LIKE. IM SAYINGGG

aw su er...... oof the fact that they put in clips of some kids on other shows (i even saw super idol omg) and him putting lin mua at the end, they must really have grown to like that haha i saw someone posted about li hao saying he liked the lin mua too and appreciated that it was something lin mo promised to his fans. im glad they dont make fun of him for it in a mean spirited way. 

im grateful for this “extra” episode outside of the actual competition. they did seem to get to do performances that they wanted to be in. im guessing some kids’ perfs didnt get aired? so im hoping they get released elsewhere so we can still watch them. again i will say that having only half the number of trainees compared to other shows and having them for 3 stages rather than the usual 1 has allowed me to feel like ive gotten to know most (if not all?) of these kids, similar to how i felt about ip, which is nice. like i at least know their names and faces. at least it wasnt like qcyn where kids got eliminated before they even had 1 stage ugh. grateful and excited to see yixing again too next ep! hopefully this means we wont get some nonsense judging like last time... also excited to see momo with his pink hair! and in the same perf as zhan yu and akey (what happened to jin fan lol) everyone having colorful hair will be exciting!
