Everyone knows that maIes on average are dangerous predators and women are their prey so anybody telling you to trust them or that "it's not all men" wants you harmed by them. They want you dead, they want you raped, they want you sacrified to the beast to save their skin or their loved ones skin. Only to blame you for it after.

Look at all the precautions the average woman takes in every aspect of their lives to navigate maIe violence. I've seen women go as far as ordering food under a maIe name because the delivery drivers would prey on them otherwise. Even when a woman IS interested in a maIe she'd still take precautions dating him because -she knows- moid on average are dangerous. This is also why women settle in crappy relationships because they KNOW their chances of encountering worse is higher than their chances of encountering better so they stay because it's personally & socially better than being alone for them. "He's emotionally distant but at least he isnt cheating on me", "he's cheating on me but at least he's not raping me", "he keeps bothering me for sex every night but at least he hasn't killed me". Women know. This is why I no longer get into back and forth about moids with women either I aint wasting my fucking time arguing shit we both know is true. I wont be your goddamn sacrificial lamb.

Moids themselves know how dangerous moids are as they "shield" their female relatives/partners from other moids. Many moids are terrified of prisons or gay moids because they fear facing what they make women face.

People wouldn't typically advise women & girls that are close to them to trust maIes, heck teenage girls are often scared off moidlets with parents saying that "boys bring trouble"/"theres only one thing boys want" typa shit. Many parents worry about their daughters because they know the evil that moids are deep down and can only hope it doesn't affect their daughters badly.

So I dont fucking care what's said online, most of these women pandering to moids or moids pulling the "it's not all men!1! We get hurt tuh!1!" bullshit would not individually trust moids. Ladies dont ever feel bad for protecting yourself. Keep generalising & judging ALL xys. You aren't crazy for seeing their evil & having your guard up. I don't think Regulus does it in an "I was a born a woman and now suffers that while [Sirius] gets to prance around." Type of thing. I think if anyone thinks that, it's Walburga and Narcissa. The difference is that for example, Narcissa wants the position of power associated with a man while still being a woman (she thinks she's capable as a woman) while Regulus thinks he can be a better man himself as a whole.

Regulus doesn't view Sirius very highly in terms of being the Head of the House [Black]. Sirius goes against their family teachings, actively fights back against his family, and runs away, etc etc. With this, Regulus views him as rather weak, and since I think Regulus associated the purity views with love, he kinda also thinks that Sirius is a coward for not giving into those views for their family and by extension, Regulus. By emasculating Sirius, Regulus is admitting he can be a better "man" or he is "more of a man" than his brother.

I am aware that I sound like those people who say Regulus is sexist and believe me I know that, I'm sorry but I think sexism is so SO heavy in the stuff we embed into the Pureblood Society of Harry Potter (arrange marriages, victorian "aesthetics") (in my case, Chinese culture) that kinda "ties" everything together. Even though the idea of sexism is a rlly weird topic with Trans Regulus and the female characters of the Marauders (once again another thing that the fandom does to make up for the lack of female content). If you're gonna hc Regulus as trans, it is going to happen with the connections you put into the Purebloods. Yk? Anyway I'll shut up about this lol

Regulus is trying to validate the man he isn't allowed to be by emasculating Sirius' biological masculinity that comes with his identity as a cis man. It's less about the fact he's afab but it's more selfish, catering to Regulus, specifically as a closeted Trans Man. In a broader view, you could say it reflects his selfish nature in a very wide range way.

^^ these are all excellent points! It does not escape my attention that the only female antagonist in p5r is Sae. And even then, she was not framed to be as morally reprehensible as the male antagonists. Even though police corruption and forging evidence is Very Bad™ as well, the writers did not treat it that way (imo it's worse than plagiarism. at the very least). And Sae had one of the best character arcs in the entire game. So yeah I'd love for them to explore female characters with dubious or questionable morality more.

Someone in the comments told me about the Wakaba concept art where she's experimenting on people and it threw me for a loop, like that would've been so interesting actually. What could've been....

I'm not sure if I believe the "Wakaba Isshiki did unethical experiments" theory in the fandom, but I do think this is the biggest proof of it in-game:

The first explanation is that she did experiments by sending people into palaces and then testing what happens to them if the palace collapses. Which is messed up for obvious reasons.

The second explanation is that she did NOT test it, meaning she was just making shit up. Which is funny but also would make her a terrible scientist. This explanation is less believable because everything else about her research is too accurate.

There's also a theory that Wakaba did unethical experiments on Akechi specifically. I'm not sure I believe that, since the evidence for it is pretty shallow (like the featherman game scientist experimenting on grey pigeon). But this scene is once again the biggest argument you could make for that theory. The researcher in the image above refers to palaces by their correct term 'palaces', which they say was based on Wakaba's research. But that's only something you would know with firsthand experience of the metaverse. And the only person they know who could access the metaverse was Akechi (that we know of, but i dont think Shido would rely only on Akechi if there were other options).

So yeah this scene is very sus. It's most likely the writers didn't think too deep about the implications. There's no way they wanted Futaba's mom to be sketchy, right? But even if it's not intentional, the scenes and their implications still exist. So in conclusion those theories make sense, I get it, and I don't blame anyone for headcanoning them and having fun. And tbh anyone involved with cognitive psience was portrayed as some degree of unethical (maruki for example), maybe this is just on-brand
