I LOVE BMC SO MUCH. BUT MY ALL TIME FAVORITE THING IS HOW EVERYONE IN THE SHOW FACES SOME SORT OF SOCIAL PRESSURE. EVERYONE IS MEANINGFUL. NO CHARACTER DOESNT HAVE A PURPOSE, SOMETHING THAT SOMEONE CAN RELATE TO.

Jeremy - He's the loser of the school. nobody knows his name, and nobody cares to. He's relatable because people feel trapped in themselves all the time, so they lash out at people they love and the people who TRULY care about them.

Michael - His BEST FRIEND abandoned him for fucks sake. Left him alone for popularity, and was expected to just forget and forgive? Jeremy flat out left him in ONE DAY. He's relatable due to the feeling of being abandoned, being left by the only person that you loved, being left by your "favowite pwerson."

Christine - She's shown as the Bubbly girl. Silly, can do no wrong, always happy. But she's not. She's not oblivious to anything going on around her. She sees that people are in pain, people are suffering, but she can't do anything about it, and it makes her feel useless. That's why she's relatable.

Brooke - She's always in Chloe's shadow. "The second hottest girl in School." And it upsets her. She wants to be seen, she WANTS to be loved. But everyone she's dated has tooken advantage of that love, even the person that she loved the most. She's relatable because of the feeling of being outshined, being someone else's shadow.

Chloe - Everyone sees her as some hot bitch, but noone cares to know her. To TRULY hear her. She makes bad decisions, she's mean, but she can be nice, she can be so goddamn nice. (not defending dywh...) She's relatable because of how people perceive her. People see her as an asshole, she'll fit that goddamn mold.

Rich - He's relatable because of the social pressure for people (mainly teenage boys) to be mean, to be bullies. If you're nice, you're some softy loser. People force themselves to be something that they're not, that's why he's relatable.

Jake - Popular. That's it. He's used for his popularity CONSTANTLY. Chloe only dating him for his popularity, Rich only befriending him for his popularity. And the one time he gets something that he's happy with, he doesn't know how to handle it and fumbles. He's relatable because even though he's popular, he's lonely.

Jenna - Always forgotten. Used for one thing, then ignored. She feels as if her only purpose is to please others. And if she doesn't? She'll fade into obscurity. She justs want to be a part of something, but can't even get that. She's relatable due to being used for someone else's gain.
