like yeah sure "it doesn't matter how others see you, it's how you see yourself" is fine and all until you are basically the only trans person and 50+ hours a week every week you get misgendered despite introducing yourself and having a name tag with said pronouns

#i sat basically bc i have a trans classmate but he passes and doesnt get misgendered #and there is someone else not a student who is trans and i cant say if she does or doesnt get misgendered #but i am never in the same room as these people and the aforementioned trans guy sucks and also misgenders me #the speaking clown #okay actually done now. i drafted like 700 thoughts #but i need to stop thinking about it and donate plasma

I CANT USE CSS ON ARTFIGHT...............

#I WAS REALLY HOPING TO FIX THE FUCKING. PARAGRAPH WIDTH. SIGH #idk why but it stretches across the ENTIRE page like. it takes up the full width of the browser and it BOTHERS ME. ON ALL THE PAGES #i could try manually putting shift breaks but im worried it might not look so good on mobile. ugghh... auyggghhh.....#im already learning CSS and API so i thought i could put it to good use but. AUGH #this whole time ive had to go into the inspect panel myself and change the padding so i dont have to read the length of the screen #like a fucking typewriter... i would have also loved to use custom fonts and animations......#i did find a guide for BBCode which the site uses on default and it covers basic styling but its not the same. sniffle #you CAN unlock CSS if you donate $25 to the page which seems fair. and if i could do it i would but. i do not have any way of #sending or receiving money online </3 i really need to figure out how to do that so i can set up comms like i said i would last summer #but it intimidates me.... and im already kept on a short leash when it comes to that so it feels like a lot of things could go wrong #i think toyhouse allows CSS or some sort of code...?? i remember seeing some oc pages with custom layouts #if thats the case i'll try fiddling with it but im not very familiar with using toyhouse so thatll take a while #(thanks again for the code sal ^_^ ill put it on my pin once its ready but im trying to learn my way around the site heh ;;)#at least i can use my pixel dividers.. ive been digging around for pixels to use and found some really cute ones #yapping

Smth smth a spirit like Manfred wanting to possess a body under their own identity can’t do so if a body is whole because that would affect the soul of the deceased as well as cause Manfred himself to be influenced by echoes of that person’s identity. That’s why his body had to be made from scratch using donated parts. A soul being able to donate their body for such a purpose is relatively rare and indicates they’ve found true peace at the Maker’s side. They are in essence sacrificing their ability to communicate with the living world as well as sacrificing essential markers of their identity. But if they have completed their journey across the Fade and are safe at the Maker’s side / no longer in danger of being lost, then they can relinquish those things without fear. The alteration of their physical body also won’t affect their reflected soul in the afterlife.

#OOC / HOLLY.#MOBILE.#basically in order for Manfred to be his own person not tied to a deceased mortal #then he would need his own body #which would have to be made from parts donated by multiple people #because he can’t be born the way a mortal is #that was his ‘birth’. smth smth when you make a life you are also making a death #smth smth every woman gives birth astride a grave #two sides of a coin and all that #ALSO that death is not an end to Nevarrans but rather an evolution of life #a transition of existence where you ‘live’ in a different way #so Manfred being a spirit who can inhabit his own body and retain a pure individual identity without echoes of a deceased #is a rare and precious wonder. probably not unheard of but RARE #this also informa why he can do things like become an apprentice #because in a way and from a Nevarran perspective he has been born. is ‘alive’. chose an existence in the mortal world #there’s no true clear distinction between a ‘soul’ and a ‘spirit’#look I’m not explaining it well but it makes sense #he is his own person not an echo of another

not to be an ass but if you're giving so much to fundraisers spread around on tumblr dot com that you're out of money that is a you problem. most are asking for single digit donations or a share for other people to decide if they want to do the same. if they are a scam, make sure you lose money you can stand to lose, and if not, 100 people who can afford to donate $5 each will add up real quick for someone who needs it and will absolutely not be a waste to anybody anywhere. if you have time and energy to research multiple fundraisers yourself, awesome, and if you don't, $1 or $5 or $10 is not going to kill you, unless it is, in which case, you can simply not donate! nobody has a gun to your head. ultimately it is your decision and your judgement call if that's something you can afford to spend, scam or otherwise, vetted yourself or otherwise, as a grown ass adult with functioning free will. it is not that complicated, next question.

Three quick fleece beanies! They still need to be washed, and I cut out fabric for two more but I need a break before I sew them, but it’s a start at getting my fleece stash cleared out!

#sewing #handmade #fleece beanies #donation beanies #these are very basic but warm #so I grab the nice fleece any time it’s in the remnants bin at the local Joann’s #and every once in a while I sew up a bunch of beanies #and then my dad takes them to the local shelter/community closet/soup kitchen (whoever needs beanies when the beanies are ready)#sometimes I find more fleece in the remnants bin than others and then my fleece stash gets a little large #but when I can get the fabric for four hats for like a dollar it’s worth getting the fabric #even if it takes me a while to actually sew the hats

do you ever feel casually suicidal? like you're not depressed or anything you're doing fine but also it feels like a convenient option

#if you can't make connections with people or be seen by anyone then like. at least you can feel like you're helping a better cause #to like charities and gfms and anyone else #but you have to tone that down bc you're slowly losing money bc you still can't get a job #and bc you don't have a job it means you're just stuck in the house all day. which gives Way Too Much opportunity to Think about everything #and also so like. i still share a room with my sister but it was fine bc she'd stay at her bf's a few nights a week #but he's got a job that's a bit further away and basically she can't go round his as much. so now it's maybe like once a week #the room is getting messier so it gives me less energy to do anything #you can get really into an unhealthy weight loss obsession bc at least it feels like you're getting towards something #but idek is set weight theory real? bc once i get down to a certain point it suddenly resets #like honestly counting calories and donating money to every gfm i saw and writing a film script was what kept me going #but first one isn't working and second i need some sort of income and third is finished and i have no way of actually creating it #and then there's the whole lack of stable hyperfixation and ability to find new music i enjoy #and realistically what would fix me is having a good job that i enjoy and somewhere to live on my own #but until i get a job that's currently impossible. and even then it probably won't feel like enough #my entire life is lived on my phone i need more physical objects but i don't have enough space #bc i share a room with my sister. it's like all my problems are connected #and i have enough optimism that i still think it'll get better in the next few weeks. maybe i'll be able to get a job and that'll #get everything going again #but at the same time i could easily just die #I've graduated from uni. I've seen the who live 3 times. I've crashed my car twice. I've watched 30 years of corrie. I've met various dogs #what else is there to do with my life honestly #(<- joking)#but yeah like. in summer 2021 i almost got suicidal (it was just letting the occasional thought linger in my mind etc)#but that was bc i was so depressed #but now it feels like i could just kill myself. but more just out of convenience #idek. i'm not gonna kill myself. bc i have a job interview on tuesday. and just in general i won't #but there is this casual feeling of like. well i might as well. i can't describe it #ramble #suicide tw #weight loss mention

mom texts me this morning and says she has a small knitting project for me. with great trepidation because I don't know if she knows what counts as a "small" knitting project I ask what it is

Weaving in ends. A whole bag of hats that need seaming and ends woven in. The most hated part of fiber crafts. Thanks mom 😂

#they have a mitten tree at her work. so basically collecting donations of hats mitts scarves etc to donate them to shelters and stuff #and an elderly lady knit a bunch of hats. and not just basic single colour theres colourwork and patterns and different ribbings etc #they just all need their ends woven in and looks like some of their brims need seaming. which i get threading and using a tapestry needle #is more dexterity than just knitting. and if i could get away with it i would also pass off dealing with my ends to someone else 😂#so looks like thats what im bringing to the Christmas party on Saturday. which is honestly good bc i didnt know what to bring that wasnt #going to be a present or similar to someone in attendance 😂#knitting #knitblr #my textposts

#(Basically rant on my last two posts)#I know I've said it before and sorry for coming off as annoying–#but I really wish we still had a central bsd blog on Tumblr like fy-bungoustraydogs or bsd-central or things of the kind.#I think now everyone rushes to post news first. And although there's merit to it in knowing news as soon as they happen‚#in the long run the death of this kind of central official content ***fan*** blogs is such a huge loss of fandom spaces‚#especially for the archiving purposes they solved. Especially today that T/witter and G/oogle have basically become unusable.#Literally. Literally. I've been doing official content archiving since I was 11 #(because that's the very specific kind of mental illness I have)#and let me tell you that the quality of web search and especially reverse image search only got worse–#in a way that is very evident and noticeable. Which is crazy tbh and not how things should work.#If anyone would like to start a bsd-central kind of blog I'll be the first one to follow.#Actually if anyone actually wants to establish it feel free to contact me and I'll be more than happy to share the resources I have!!!!#It just needs to be something multi-modded for a series of reasons I won't get into right now #I just can't personally do it (not as main admin at least) because that would be modding my FIFTH active bsd blog–#and that's a little too much even for me.#On top of some ethical concerns I have regarding whether it'd be fair for me to mod a fandom central bsd blog–#when I feel like I can't genuinely share the same amount of love for the franchise other fans share #On top of.
