Okay, I know it is supposed to be spooky season, but I need to share this on my main.because it both the most cute yet weirdest illustration from a purly in universe pov and I always remember it around this time.

Okay, this is it. On the surface, it's a very cute villain chirstmas get together.

But then you realize despite Donald being the warden, most of these guys are from Mickey universe even the lesser known ones [even catnip despite him being more of a bully than a harden criminal) . And for some reason Megavolt is only darkwing villain there.

Then you see Eil having a crush on Clarabelle, which is simply not the case, as he's merely using her.

Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America by Maggie Haberman (BOOK | KINDLE | AUDIO) Nobody is more plugged-in to Trump's world than Maggie Haberman, and she has been since he first announced he was running for President in 2015. She was one of the rare journalists who took him seriously from the beginning, and it gave her the unique access which results in some remarkable stories. Trump can't help but open up to her, even though he constantly attacks her for her coverage and has said some reprehensible things about her. I can't imagine how exhausted she is of being the Trump expert after almost ten years, and it isn't ending anytime soon.

The Divider: Trump in the White House, 2017-2021 by Peter Baker and Susan Glasser (BOOK | KINDLE | AUDIO) Peter Baker has covered the Presidency for over two decades and written excellent books about the past five Presidents. He continues to cover the White House for the New York Times and his frequent pieces analyzing contemporary Presidents in relation to Presidential history are always great. Susan Glasser is a longtime reporter for The New Yorker and is also fantastic with her coverage and has written several good books of her own. From time-to-time, Baker and Glasser, who have been married for years, team up to write a book and The Divider, like their incredible book about James Baker (The Man Who Ran Washington) shows how deep their connections are in Washington and American politics.

But The Trump Tapes gives you Trump in his own, erratic, redundant, uncensored words full of lies and threats and insanity. It should frighten and repel people, but this is America where ignorance and intolerance openly reign, so instead this fucking country put Trump back in power, but with a mandate and full Congressional control this time. The White Supremacist slogan "109 countries" alledges that this is the number of countries that have banned Jews.

Anyone ever have any luck finding a complete list of all those 109 countries?

No?

That's because many of the locations counted in that number aren't countries, but townships. And the same places that banned Jews more than once are counted separately each time that they did. Among several other confections.

"Belgravia: The Next Chapter" - This sequel to Julian Fellowes' 2020 limited series, "Belgravia", aired on MGM+. Set thirty years later, the limited series starred Benjamin Wainwright and Harriet Slater.

"Cross" (Season One) - Starring Aldis Hodge, this crime thriller television series about a Washington D.C. forensic psychologist and homicide detective is based on James Patterson's "Alex Cross" novel series, now airing on Amazon Prime Video.

"The Day of the Jackal" (Season One) - Eddie Redmayne and Lashana Lynch starred in this reimagined adaptation of Frederick Forsyth's 1971 novel about a ruthless British assassin and the MI-6 intelligence officer intent on capturing him. Now airing on Peacock.

"The Empress" (Season Two) - Devrim Lingnau and Philip Froissant star in this Netflix historical drama about Empress Elisabeth and Emperor Franz-Josef I of Austria.

"Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist" - Kevin Hart and Samuel L. Jackson starred in Peacock's limited series about an infamous armed robbery held on the night of Muhammad Ali's historic 1970 comeback fight in Atlanta. Don Cheadle, Taraji P. Henson and Terence Howard co-starred.

"Mr. & Mrs. Smith" (Season One) - Donald Glover and Maya Erskine starred in this Amazon Prime Video remake of the 2005 comedy thriller about two strangers and trained espionage agents, impersonating a married couple, while working for a mysterious organization.

"The Penguin" - Colin Farrell reprised his role as Oswald "Oz" Cobb aka the Penguin from the 2022 D.C. Comics movie, "The Batman", in this HBO/Max limited series about the titled character's rise to power in Gotham City's underworld.

"Shōgun" - This second adaptation of James Clavell's 1975 novel about a shipwrecked English soldier and his association with a powerful daimyo in early 17th century Japan aired on the FX on Hulu channel and starred Hiroyuki Sanada, Cosmo Jarvis, Anna Sawai and Tadanobu Asano.

"Star Wars: The Acolyte" - Amandla Stenberg and Lee Jung-jae starred in this Disney Plus limited series about the Jedi Order's investigation of a series of crimes during the High Republic era.

"Star Wars: Skeleton Crew" - Jude Law starred in this Disney Plus limited series about four children, who make a discovery on their home planet, get lost in the galaxy and go on an adventure to get back home. The series is set during the early New Republic era.

it's high time we recognized that this and only a few other places are the last refuges of any degree of taste or sensibility. we're like little nelson rockefellers: all that is left of a great segment of society, the thoughtful vanguard, the shy, all-questioning youth, in touch through books and the oldest literature with things far older than our teachers. we are not impressed by this technology, that elevates the vulgar and the cruel. when compared to the caught lightning that is language, and words, it is a blip. these would-be luthors - or what is zuckerberg, a t-shirt caesar? - aren't fit to be penguins: danny devito in his penguin lair, reading from a victorian edition of moby dick, would make these people panic under his intellectual weight. they're just so thin.

and here's something they don't get. if all people are exposed to all others through social media, how likely is it that the people who labored to create this infrastructure would be the cream that rises in any sort of long run? one builds levees to withstand hundred- and thousand-year floods. considering people as storms, what would the rising of a hundred- or thousand-year storm of personal intensity look like on the internet? it would be like if genghis khan could be anywhere at once, with his whole horde. these people don't know what they are enabling. i'm not saying it's a bad thing. it may be a great levelling. but are they ready for a real revolution? they asked for it. they have tarnished a once-shining thing, and now no one cares if they have it. it doesn't matter if you own twitter, elon, people like taylor swift more. it doesn't matter if trump is president. no one has any respect for him. they had to hold his inauguration indoors so he wouldn't get shot. he heard one bullet, they saw another barrel, and a marine incinerated himself in a cybertruck outside a building he was in, and that's just this year. especially after the reaction to the luigi thing, they are terrified of this. presidents used to die from colds to swear the oath outside: it's a public rite of leadership, which demonstrates a confidence that no one there among the electeds and appointeds is themselves a "security risk" - that is, intends to exercise their final veto of a life for a life. evidently they do not have this confidence. frigid my ass. he is cowering, and before no one in particular, but rather before the psychic enemy they've created, that may drive some nut, loose gun or senator to write their name in blood and brains at any moment. who fears this cowering man? it is almost gross to shoot him, he is so afraid.
