easy hygiene tips ♡

to improve physical appearance , health and hygiene are a must.

water ♡

water. please , for the love of god , drink water. get up rn and go drink some water. water does so much , want clear skin? water. want to lose weight? water. want to feel more refreshed? water. ITS SO HELPFUL!! you really don't want to be dehydrated, it has so many negative effects.

i would aim for around 2 liters (8 full glasses) a day , but you can slowly increase your water intake over the span of a few weeks if you're not ready for that. if you like me and forget to drink , set alarms or reminders for when you need to.

apple cider vinegar ♡

okay , yes, it tastes gross, but it's so good for your PH!! just drink 2 teaspoons everyday (dilute with water first) , trust me it will make your body sweat and kitty smell (and taste) soo much better!! it can also help u lose weight , decrease waist size and is so good for your skin!!

easy oral hygiene ♡

brush your teeth at least 3 times a day. i normally opt for brushing my teeth twice in a row morning and night , and once during the day (yes , even if i'm at school). also , don't forget to floss!! most importantly u wanna b scraping/brushing your tongue, along with brushing your gums and the roof of your mouth!! If you're not brushing regularly and not brushing your tongue, your breath is gonna stink.

another tip - mints > gum. no matter how minty your gum is , if you're chewing it all day it's gonna make your breath smell bad. a sugar-free mint that specialises in good breath every morning helps so much for me.

shower/bath care ♡

please wash behind your ears and your belly button. every part of your body should be clean!!! you don't want build-up.

exfoliate before and after u shave. this will leave u feeling SO smooth and helps avoid razor bumps , if you have sensitive skin (like me) it can help avoid irritation (i get SO itchy and my skin gets covered in red bumps if i don't exfoliate when shaving). personally, i don't suffer from oily skin , but if u do, exfoliating afterwards helps remove any dirt from clogged pores and any residue build-up!

use different clothes depending on what part of your body you're cleaning!! use a softer cloth for your face and kitty , and use regular clothes for the main part of your body and bum. NEVER wash your face in the shower! you want your face to have its own personal time for you to clean it so you can really focus on it. also , hot water from the shower can damage your skin and make it dry. your shower head also probably has a lot of bacteria hiding in it, so please wash your face separately after your shower.

You are Dean's one exception. (In which Sam is in love with Dean's girlfriend - and how Dean reacts.)

Sam crosses the line. (The sequel: Sam finally sees his chance with you after he's hit by a witch's spell.)

I tried to imply what followed between the reader and Dean after this section:

Your eyes widen further. You look from Sam, to your boyfriend. Dean's jaw is clenched tight.

"Okay, what the fuck is going on?!" you ask in earnest.

Dean meets your gaze for a moment, his face tense. His reluctant eyes communicate to you things you never knew. Things that clog emotion in your throat.

But since you asked so nicely, this is my headcanon for that conversation between the reader and Dean (after Sam is knocked out by Rowena lol):

Of course, you would demand to know why Dean didn't tell you earlier.

Your heart and mind are a maelstrom of emotions: shock, not wanting to believe it's true, anger and hurt at both of these men for lying to you for so long about what's been going on.

Because a lie of omission is still a damn lie.

Dean is quiet at first, and you're forced to read into his silence. You peer at him closer, grabbing his wrist.

"Dean...did you really think it would change anything?" you ask incredulously.

His brows furrow. "No."

But you don't quite believe him.

"I just...didn't want you to have to deal with this shit, that's all," he eventually admits.

Your eyes narrow as you stare up at his face. You're trying to discern the truth.

"Is that really why?" you ask.

"Yeah, okay?" His voice is gruff and frustrated.

You move in closer, gripping the open edges of his plaid shirt. He knows what you're demanding in your gentle silence.

Don't lie to me.

Your hand reaches up to his cheek, a tender gesture that softens him. Your thumb brushes across his lower lip.

"Good," you reply. "Because if I have to remind you that I am entirely, undeniably, irrevocably in love with you, then I might just have to punish you."

A slow smirk spreads across your man's face.

"Oh yeah?" he says. His hands find your hips, drawing you closer. You're satisfied by the hint of doubt washing away from his demeanor. From his tight shoulders loosening.

"Just outta curiosity, what might that entail?" Dean asks.

Your lips curve. "Oh, you'll find out, after we fix your brother... Dean, I'll need to talk to him."

Dean's burgeoning good humor fades, but you take his face in both your hands and make sure he meets your gaze. You are firm in your convictions, and he sees that.

He nods in acceptance, before he dips down to press his lips to yours. It's gentle at first, but all too soon becomes claiming, born of hidden frustration and passion.

When he parts from you, it's slow, reluctant. His fingers draw a strand of hair behind your ear.

In his eyes, you see the true depths of him. Something not many people get to see.

It's there that you always know that you're loved.

This is mult. fandom related and I'm 25 and have been on Tumblr for approx 10 years so I'm not speaking as someone new to either Tumblr or fandom spaces

AITA for reporting art and fic as spam when it's tagged as something else in a tag I'm searching for?

This applies to many fandoms I'm in not just one so I feel no need to list them since it's not like personal beef or fandom specific drama but basically as I'm sure many people do when I want to see fan art or even the occasional fic for my favorite character I'll go into their character tag via Tumblr search, it's one of the few things I enjoy about this website is it's semi functional tagging and search system. But more often and usually lately I've been finding a lot of stuff in say character A tag that doesn't have character A in it, it's a drawing of character B that's been tagged with the main fandom tag, B, and every other main character. I know its so the art or fic gets more views but it's annoying ESPECIALLY if it's fic because not to generalize but fics tagged like that usually dont have a read more either so I have to scroll past this massive block of text that's not only a fic I'm not interested in, but one that's incorrectly tagged for a character I'm trying to find content of so they're the ones I tend to report as spam the most over art which is easier to scroll past ill admit

Even on ao3 it's a feux pas to tag characters that just "appear" if they're not central to the fic so they already shouldn't be tagging any character mentioned in their fic

This USUALLY tends to happen with people's oc posts as well and nothing against OCs they're just not my thing and if I were in the main tag I'd happily scroll by since I recognize their place but just like the other two I'll notice it's just a drawing of someone's oc or their OC's profile and it's tagged with the full main cast, thus showing up in the character I'm looking for's tag

Or character x readers and character A (and C, D, E, F, etc) will be tagged on a B x reader fic, obviously I have no interest in reading a fic like that especially when again the entire cast has been tagged not because they appear in the fic but for engagement

Also I'm not dumb I filter for fandoms so like if the tag I'm in is just "Steve" obviously I know it'll apply to multiple fandoms like Minecraft or avengers since that's a super nonspecific name/tag I'm talking about deliberate tagging within the same fandom

I also don't report the post if they're like "this is my OC his name is James Bond" obviously that's gonna show up in like the James Bond tag which while more specific would not count as spam since that's still a proper tag that would apply, it's the OC's name that just happens to be the name of another character

So, while I don't feel bad because I find these people annoying since they're obviously tagging things like I mentioned on purpose for attention but on the other hand I feel a little guilty because fan art and fan fic is important to any fandom but just, that is one of the definitions of a spam post is something improperly tagged on purpose

TLDR: I report posts in my favorite character's tag as spam when they don't have my favorite character but are tagged with them because they clog up the actual tag with garbage

To not clogging the thread: Vaemond Velayron deserved to be feed to a dragon and his Slient Five got off lightly just losing their tongues.

1) Apparently they only 'notice' the bastardy of the three boys after Laenor died.

2) After Harwin died.

3)And Laena died, but apparently her twins are unworthy of Driftmark do to lack of the dick but not of birth.

4)This feeds directly into treason against the king and into the political schemes of the Greens.

5)The toddler betrothals basically made the issue mute because /Laenor and Laena/ made them.

6) Also book!Rhaenys was a brunette and show!Rhaenys white, unless someone wants to colorcode every other family by paternity and paint color I will die on this hill.

you brought something to keep you busy; nothing much but a couple of files you could proofread a couple of times to make sure you don't miss out on any details for your next briefing. yeonjun sneaks a few peeks at you from time to time and it's this giddy, child-like feeling blossoming in his chest when he notices you looking at him.

if anyone was watching, they would think the two of you were outright disgusting. but given the privacy you two shared in the empty practice room, yeonjun finds the perfect opportunity to–you look up from your file when you notice a shadow blocking half the page you're reading (or was reading).

it makes you snort, putting the file to the side with a raised brow at the sight of his hand extended out to you.

"what?" you scoff a laugh, keeping him waiting like this was hilarious given his puppy eyes and small pout. "take my hand," he wiggles his fingers impatiently.

"i don't even–"your words get clogged up when the familiar voice of michael bublé echoes off the walls and yeonjun maneuvers one of your hands to rest on his shoulder as he grips the other, holding it up as he guides you with his other hand on your waist. "i take no responsibility if tubatu loses their main dancer," you announce as he begins to make you move along with him but he stops with a laugh, head thrown back at your remark. it makes you giggle seeing his reaction; how effortless it was for you to make him laugh all the time.

he shakes his head and faces you with a smirk, "it's gonna take more than you stepping on my feet to do any real damage, baby."

"aren't you a cocky motherfu–!" your voice fades off into a squeal when he spins you around as if he's half-dragging, half-floating you around the room with ease but in actual fact, it was because your body trusted him more than your mind did. the muscle memory of feeling safe with him made your heart leap over your head, allowing yeonjun to maneuver you around and avoid your feet stepping onto his to his best ability.

after a solid minute of spinning you around, he slows down to a more mellow pace; ignoring the upbeat tempo from the song as you two catch your breath. he chuckles when you rest your head on his chest, shaking your head with a laugh.

"not so bad, huh?" he murmurs, pressing a kiss to the top of your head before you look up to him with a resigned smile, "you just do the darnedest things, don't you?"

"let me spin you around again?"

"as long as you're there to catch me."

"oh," yeonjun grins, already gripping onto your waist and tightening his hold on your hand, "i'll always be there to catch you."

Hi OTNF!! Sometimes I like to read this fandom problem blog that receives submissions from people all over Tumblr, recently this was posted and I wanted to know what you thought of it: The tag types of "Tags update as story is written" or "additional tags to be added" or "Rating may change." Fuck those. I don't care if you add some extra benign tags as the story goes along, and you realise you wanna add more content that's just there, or you realise your fic maybe went a bit harder than you expected. Some stories get their own life. But at the same time, if you knew you'd want to add certain content, or that the rating was gonna go way up from what you tagged in the beginning, why did you not tag it from the start? Especially when the tagged content becomes a big part of the story, or influences the story strongly. And then you find out that the Author already had been planning adding this type of content for a long time, they just FOR SOME STUPID-ASS REASON didn't wanna add the tag until it actually happens. You're supposed to tag so the people can make an informed decision if they wanna commit to your fic, so for the love of the tagging-system, actually TAG ALL YOUR SHIT FROM THE START. Same shit for changing ratings. I hate it when someone plans from the start to make the story explicit, but doesn't change the rating until they've reached the NSFW sections. There's a reason there's a tagging system. So do you just not understand how that works? Or are you just being kind of as ass on purpose? This does not help when avoiding stories with specific content you try to exclude from your results. It's even dumber if the reason is to "avoid spoiling the fic readers", because anyone coming later to the fic is going to be "spoiled" by the tags regardless. And if you know you wanna add porn, or gore, then rate the story appropriately. Rather categorise it too high, than fuck around with people who don't wanna read explicit content. As a writer who uses the Archive, I want to put my 2 cents in. When I'm writing a fic, a long fic for example, I want to tag the stuff that actually DOES appear at that time so that I'm not clogging other tags/people don't think I'm spamming to inflate my readership (And I DEFINITELY do not want something I worked hard on to get reported for spam). I do get the frustration at reading a fic and then something changes like the rating, but as a writer, sometimes things go off script and one thing that's rated T or M might eventually become E just based off the writing juices doing it's thing(tm). To me, the "Additional tags to be added" is kind of like CNTW, it's something the reader has to make a decision if they want to risk getting invested/read that particular fic. It feels very much like a "damned if you do/damned if you don't" situation. What are some of your thoughts on something like this?

Writers are always going to vary in their favorite approach, and readers who act like there's one right answer are idiots.

For me personally, even if I'm posting as I write, I do have a solid idea of where the fic is going, and I strongly prefer—both as a reader and writer—to have all of the tags in place at the beginning.

I also don't like over-tagging for warnings and only want to see/use tags for the basic main content of the fic, which does make it easier to know ahead of time than if I tagged every tiny thing.

I think spoilers are a dumb reason not to tag things.

So I agree with the complainer's tastes...

...but at the same time, they're acting like these ought to be rules, and AO3 is designed to accommodate a lot of different people with different styles, so I think their attitude leaves something to be desired.

It's October, so I guess talk of spooky stuff is fitting lol

Keep in mind a lot of this is going to be me indulging in a darker tone than the final product. I'm throwing around ideas and depending on how Hazbin Hotel world builds (or doesn't) this could be completely disproven later.

Buuuut I wanna have fun dumping my thoughts about this somewhere! And maybe if I do that here, it won't clog up the main story I wanna tell. So, without further ado...

Cult Stuff!

Worship

This particular cult has a leader that is very charismatic. I'm tempted to say it's a cult of personality around this leader... But that's not quite it. I mean, there's gotta be a reason Dolf started this cult, right?

I think he's scared of dying, ultimately. Scared that there was an empty, meaningless void waiting for him after death. Or that eternal punishment would be unavoidable. Eventually, Dolf gets a glimpse of Hell, and it comforts him. Because he knows he's damned, but he can avoid the consequences of his actions. The afterlife can be just like his regular life! Just so long as he is clever and he's damn good at being clever.

So the cult 'worships' damnation and dying, in a way. It would also be appropriate if one of the lies Dolf tells is that "No one actually goes to heaven! Humans are all rotten to the core and carry our forefathers sins! We can do whatever we want to whoever we want and it doesn't matter, because no one is worth salvation anyways." Then going on to promise safety and protection in hell. Basically, preying on people's nihilism, vulnerability, and ignorance.

Magic

This one's a little trickier because we don't have a hard system of rules for magic in the show. We see Vox using sigils (as well as the seven deadly sins) but we see Charlie also straight up exploding people to death with fireworks. Sinners form seem to change on the dime, which might suggest that this isn't a physical realm, but the angel's weakness being angelic steel goes against it. Especially if Intent doesn't matter (which it might, but Alastor was also able to use it so....???????)

Suffice to say, magic is weird in Hazbin Hotel lol

For Peccantum, since he's all about magic, I've had to figure out some of my own rules. Firstly, each person/soul has their own brand of magic fuckery. Some come from religion, some manifest as a different form. Some souls are trained in it, some don't know it exists. Some have more, some have less. It's different for everyone and is influenced by the sinner it is attached to.

But surely that's just in hell, right? We haven't seen any human do magic (except a certain angelic necklace) right? Maybe they can't do magic!

....Yeah that could absolutely happen XD but hear me out!

We've seen at Halloween that Stolas was invited to a ritual sacrifice, meaning there is some communication between the goetia and humans. If there was.... I dunno, a book about how magic worked, or how to unleash it within a soul, and a human was able to see and replicate it....?

Again, all hypothetical lol, but it is fun to think about!

As for gaining power in the mortal world, humans can't exactly make deals the way demons do. Instead, they uh... Take it from others. Kind of like how Peccantum's magic was taken from him. He's probably done it to others too. Of course, those who practiced this would absolutely be damned for it, but that's not much of an issue for this cult. :)

Now, with narratives and parallels in DRDT so far, it seems to follow how 'Two sides of the same coin' tropes usually play out. Essentially, two characters handling the same problem in different ways. Ace and Arei are probably the most clear example of this with both being inherently 'bad' people, but how they deal with this dilemma is VERY different

Knowing this, I wanna change my original thought process from last post. Instead of Rose dealing with a lot of knowledge and Nico dealing with little knowledge, I think it'll be more focused on them both knowing a lot

Here's how I think it'll play out:

Rose having photographic memory (knowing and being able to remember a lot) -> becomes a hindrance to her as she forgets what's important (negative outcome)

Nico becomes aware they are the mastermind as they start to remember (being able to remember and knowing a lot) -> becomes an asset to them as they remember what's important (positive outcome) (for them anyways)

Also, another thought when thinking about last trial:

Usually composed / calm and easy-going Rose -> becomes more distressed and emotional

Emotionally-driven and distrustful Nico -> becomes more logically-driven and reserved

Now, I know what you might be thinking

'What about Charles, isn't he heavily associated with memory with the childhood amnesia? Surely he'd be a better fit in terms of parallels with memory'

Yes, but I doubt that will become a main theme for him moving forward. We've established he has childhood amnesia and he has already discussed it with questioning other aspects of his life. I don't see how this theme could be explored further. Plus, the characters that parralel are usually connected in some way; even if with Ace and Arei, it was through one killing the other. But with Charles, he has hardly any interaction with Rose. Sure they might have some sort of connection in the future, but I think a much more likely candidate has quite literally been with him this whole time: Whit. I won't get into too much detail, but I'm pretty sure they will parallel when it comes to choosing to see and find out the truth. There's many analysis already out there you can go read that explain it better than I ever will lol

Oh boy... i guess its official now kdjdkdkd tbh it couldn't have happened at a better time for me. Im gonna be pretty busy with work this summer and bc of the enlistment era i had already (unintentionally) distanced myself from their music as well so it wasnt like... a sudden change so its mostly fine. I just feel kind of empty sometimes.

Mostly i just dont know what to do with my blog... i lowkey wish i had kept a personal/non fandom main and used a sideblog for my kpop activities so i could just leave it with no trouble. I don't wanna abandom my blog or friends here😞💔

I miss the days where tags were actually useful and people respected them. Now you search a tag and have to block and black list more than half the posts cause people don't or won't tag properly.

If the person you tag isn't the main or even in your post, don't tag them and clog up the tags with shit that doesn't pertain to the one you're tagging. Tags exist so people can find your stuff. I don't wanna see dean smut in my Castiel tag. I don't want to see Jake and Johnny when I'm looking for Colby. I don't want Austin when I'm looking for Elvis. Unless the pairing is cas/dean(/reader) Colby/Johnny/jake(/reader) Austin/Elvis(/reader) then sure it belongs in those tags but if it's an Austin story tagged Elvis, Jake story tagged Colby, Jensen story tagged Castiel y'all are just annoying.
