Can we talk about how genuinely terrified kyoka was of mori? The first thing she did after she saw him was scream. Idk sometimes I just think about it, what image she has of mori and what she knows to get that image.

and then I think back to dazai, because if mori is afraid of dazai and everyone is afraid of mori, how truly fucked is dazai actually? I've read fanfics where people got his sense of fucked pretty good but I feel like there's probably more. You know what’s funny? I don’t know many New Yorkers (black, white, or other) who actually like Eric Adams. I certainly don’t, and I damn sure didn’t vote for him. Being the mayor of NY (the greatest city in the world) is probably the second hardest and most important job next to being POTUS. But, his approval ratings are the lowest I've ever seen!

He doesn’t have a clear vision or strong ideas for the city. All his policies does seem to be based on satisfying special and conservative interests (I mean, he was a fucking cop!)

He was accused of sexual assault and is under federal investigation due to his campaign spending and corruption.

He’s keen on gutting public programs, and making major cuts to schools, libraries, parks (all of which are historically the strength of our city) all to close budget gaps.

He seems to always side with landlords and real estate billionaires on every important issue.

There's a rise in stop-and-frisk policing, especially with cops and National Guards everywhere in the subway.

He claims to be guided by a voice of a 'God;' he even once claimed, “I know you don’t like to admit it, but I know you get on your knees and pray every night, ‘Thank God Eric is the mayor of our city.” 😒

He makes outrageous “racism” claims when pressed by citizens or the press with real legitimate and eloquent criticism. He even compared an old white lady to a slave owner when all she did was ask why the rent in NYC is so damn high, and he deflected with that nonsense:

When asked to describe NY in one word this fool said, "New York. This is where everyday you wake up, you could experience everything from a plane crashing into the World Trade Center, to a person who is celebrating a new business that's opened". WTF does that even mean?!?!?!?

Don't even get me started on the immigration issue and the fact that you can't find affordable housing anywhere either.

my goodness that first scene when james met eddie... i struggled so much not to gag, the acting sounds too real, bro...

and angela... that poor girl, i feel so bad for her, so many complicated emotions from her body language and voice... especially love how she keep referring to her mom as mama, how she still sees her as some sort of safe space, yet here she is hunting her with a kitchen knife. her whole character arc is so subtle yet... it hurts to see her like that. they did great with the writing and acting for angela. such a great character.

Martellus is still a sleezeball and a trashbag, but give him props on this. He understands the political station and status and situation he's in, and acknowledges the best way forward even if he has to swallow his pride for it. He has dignity.

absolutely losing it at the polar opposite perspective we get on darth vader during rebels. kanan and ezra encounter him and there's a dramatic lead up to the cameo and they're like "who the FUCK is that???". they fight him and lose terribly. at least until they drop several tons of heavy machinery on him. but then he survives! and then they're like "if that won't kill him what can?!" "not us. let's go!". there's no drama, no extremely emotional dialogue, no agony over the man he used to be and the monster he became. just "hey what is that? a SITH LORD? that sounds like 1-800-NOT OUR PROBLEM!!!" and then they go back to doing whatever they normally do
