I drew this in September while very sick and haven’t posted it because the actual AU is sorta serious, but I recently rediscovered it the depths of my Star Wars folder. I love my stupid little AU, and I realised I haven’t posted any of my Domino and Vader art so I thought I would ease into it with this dumb one.

Idk, I just think it’s funny that Echo/Domino is having an awful time being held hostage by the Empire and forced to work under Vader, but Anakin has been Vader for only about three years at this point and is still sort of the chaotic nightmare he was prior, and the 501st energy is still strong with both of them. Maybe I shouldn’t be allowed to have drawing privileges sometimes.

This is the closest thing to a comic you get atm. The original sketch was done in early October last year, but I’ve only just committed to finishing it. Granted, it did involve drawing 22 figures, 21 of which are in armour.

was telling sister about work gossip where I was trying to get A to talk to B before making a Specific Decision, while very gently implying that I thought it was a decision that needed more time, and until yesterday I THOUGHT I set it up so that A would definitely talk to B beforehand and was in fact TELLING an ex-coworker 'yeah I don't think it'll go well if this happens but I think I set it up so it won't' and AFTER THAT CONVO. I GOT A TEXT. where A was like 'okay I decided to go through with it!' and I'm just like WHAT THE FUCK MY DOMINOES!!! I SET THEM UP SO METICULOUSLY!!!!! but A's going to talk to B tomorrow so there's still, like, a chance, I'm just. drags hand down face. well it's out of my hands

In regards to the different alt fashions and anime merch clothing, I think what I find boring is lack of diversity and it always being on one end of the other.

There's a good lack of gender neutral/masc choices! There's a lot of "girly/frilly" in the markets and then a big lack of color in the neutral designs!

I want "anime bound", not characters slapped in a shirt! But lately (x many years) those have been boring (I'm sorry to supergroupies, but I feel like so much is just "a nice bag with KH lining" for example). And there's this brand on TikTok that, again, is both too adjacent and too literal depending on the product.

Don't forget, in general, finding plus size clothing is hard in the first place so that's even more limiting!

I don't want it to sound like I'm insulting the brands I'm thinking of and referencing as I write this. They're solid designs and nice products, this is merely an observation about varieties in this realm of fashion that are available.

However, it is a tad disappointing when you see someone share the opinion that "merch clothes" shouldn't be the only way to represent your love for anime and then have them present something that, once again, misses some boxes that almost never get checked off anyway.

And if anyone is thinking "design your own then" in any connotation of that phrase: I Am Working On It.

If anyone has any brands to drop, I won't complain.
