Things that make absolutely no goddamn sense in Naruto in no particular order

No one knows what anyone looks like. Madara has only been gone for about 60 years. People are still alive that actually met him and there are probably still artist renderings of him for history purposes. despite this, Nagato, Hanzo, and Onoki, who might not have fought him, but he was definitely a genin around the time Madara was still running around, all think Obito is him despite being a different height, different hair, different voice, and different powers. The only thing going for him is that he's strong and has a sharingan. and that's not even touching the fact that Naruto and Minato are the only two blonds in konoha not related to ino, and no one realized?

Medical ninjutsu. In the beginning of a series, it was well established that medical ninjutsu required both really fine chakra control and knowledge of the human body to make sure you aren't rupturing their lungs or giving them cancer. Naruto, who is established to have mid level control and 0 anatomical knowledge can just whip Gai up a new body. Then there's Obito who had literally half a body then got saved because Madara obviously has a medical degree, how else would he be able to integrate Hashirama's cells into him presumably before cell theory existed. And let's talk about eyeballs. Let's just assume for the sake of the argument Rin was a semi-trained medic who did Kakashi's eye swap in the middle of a warzone, and Kakashi still had a bum eye for about 25 years. Zetsu plopped Madara's eyes into baby Nagato despite a grown man's eyes being shoved into a baby's skull. Then Obito and Madara are playing hot potato with their eyes. Do Sharingan just have no nerve endings?

And speaking of jutsu that should be more important than they are, fuinjutsu. We know the Uzumaki had it and they made extra strong jinchuriki, that's why they were killed. We know you need it to make a proper jinchuriki or the tailed beast will pop out. and we know you need to write stuff on paper for it to work, that's why Jiraiya has his big scroll and Tenten has her twin dragon thingy. Except Minato can just touch stuff to make his teleport points. The sage can just plop the two most powerful seals ever on your hands and it's just two little temporary tattoos. Madara and obito don't need any seal because they can just plop the whole ten tails inside them despite not being uzumaki and there being no seals period. And you'd think for such a powerful and useful ability, more people would have it. it literally fits Sakura's mindset way more if she were a seal user way better than a medic.

And finally, senjutsu. Now senjutsu itself is fine, more energy and weird powers in exchange for being one with nature. cool concept. My complaint is how exclusive it is. You're telling me, that naruto who is only tangentially related to toads and has only been training for a few days is more at peace with nature than an entire clan of dog people? or the clan full of living insect hives aren't beetle sages? or that Mitsuki and Kashin Koji, literal clone abominations of science are more in tune with nature than Sakura? There should at least be a few sages per village, and maybe one in the akatsuki. Hidan maybe. Hell, Jinchuriki are made out of imprisoning natural disasters, they should get their own sage mode. Demon sage or something

Ranmaru’s Dōjutsu

Our first filler episode kekkei genkai (there will only be one more after this I promise lol). Ranmaru was an orphan of the Hidden Most Village (Kirigakure) who possessed a relatively unique dōjutsu.

While the actual power of Ranmaru’s dōjutsu are somewhat vague, we do know that his dōjutsu gives him extra sensory perception which allows him to remotely hear and see events from afar.

Ranmaru’s dōjutsu boasts strong analytical prowess, it can be used to read a target’s innermost thoughts and predict a series of attacks. Ranmaru’s dōjutsu can also see chakra and the physical life force inside a human’s body (which can also be used to determine if a being is alive or not). The mysterious dōjutsu can manifest a red dust that hinders the ability of other dōjutsu (such as the Byakugan) the view chakra and overcome genjutsu.

Probably the more notable of Ranmaru’s powers, is his dōjutsu’s ability to bring someone back from the brink of death, as long as they are still somewhat alive, by transferring his own life force into the nearly deceased target.

when team gai does the good cop bad cop thing tenten is the bad cop. neither Lee or Neji is the good cop but neji plays the eerily calm voice of reason and/or lie detector. when they were genin he was bad cop and she was good cop. Lee is emotional support.

team 7 doesn’t do the good cop bad cop thing. Sakura does the good cop bad cop thing. all the other members of team 7 give sakura’s interrogation room a wide berth. Naruto tries to play good cop but he’s jusst as jumpy as the prisoner is. in my head Sasuke is a really awkward interrogator. they’d expect him to be good at it but he’s gotta stay nonchalant ig

when team 8 does it akamaru is the bad cop. all 3 members of team 8 are human lie detectors. all they have to do is ask a few yes or no questions and pretend to hold akamaru back. it also doesn’t hurt that 2/4 of them can be really fucking creepy if they so choose.

when team 10 does it ino is the good cop and she doesn’t need a bad cop. she’s been interrogating since she could speak. shikamaru gives her a list of questions to ask and rolls over for a nap.
