Furry Music Omnibus 2

So another group of musical artists to recommend. Like last time, I'll post about three musical artists in the furry fandom with genre labels and links

Gabuislost (Indie Trap)

One of the new rising stars of the furry music scene, by which I mean his songs can get thousands of streams instead of hundreds. His music has this real chill vibe with great hooks and dope trap beats. If there's any furry music to get high to, it's his. If I had to pick a favorite song of his, it might be either "Give Love a Chance" or "Crush on You". But all of his stuff is great if you just want to chill. I would describe his music as indie and chill teetering on the edge of RnB and rap. Something like Travis Scott with more lofi production, more singing, and a lower body count.

Scratch21 (Pop Punk)

Probably the biggest band on this list and one who seems to be taking the throne Pepper Coyote once held before being canceled for a lot of awful shit (I know "No Cock Like Horse Cock" is extremely funny, but please pirate it instead of streaming it on Spotify). If you love Blink 182 but wish they were actually gay instead of joking about being gay, Scratch21 is perfect. They got the vibe of mall punk completely nailed down. They also have very cute and fun animations of a lot of their songs.

Dog Weekend (Indietronica)

So at the time I'm writing this, this guy only has one song out, "Rituals". Normally, I'd let artists build up more of a discography and usually people who have very few songs tend to be pretty mediocre as they go through growing pains. "Rituals" though is such a good song on its own that I think it deserves to be an exception. It's truly an anthem and really takes me back to when I was a teenager listening to indie rock with my brother. It's a high tier MGMT or Capitol Cities song in terms of quality and that's astonishing for any furry musician, but especially for a debut song. It's criminally underrated and a true gem of the furry music scene. I would certainly love this song to be a furry anthem moreso than "No Cock Like Horse Cock". If there's anyone you check out, please make it this man.

krypto leaves a dead bird on tim's pillow and tim goes oh shit fuck is this an oblique threat that someone's discovered my identity as one of the bird-themed heroes in gotham? but then why's it a fucked-up looking pigeon and not a robin or a rook (if youre like me and like tim taking on the name rook later)??????? and why is it so mangled and burned what does it mean is this a threat of a specific way someone wants to kill me?!?! who could it have been from?! when did someone even break in and why didn't they trip any of my alarms?!?! fuck i have to cancel my plans with kon and bart later shit i don't even know how i got compromised so i don't dare see either of them in public i don't want to risk them--fuck fuck fuck how did this happen i don't understand and why is it a pigeon and

meanwhile krypto is just like. :3c i did so good i am SUCH a good dog i leave him presents :) yayyy!!! i even cooked it for him. with heat vision! yaaayyy!!

so tim phones up kon like "listen we can't meet up this weekend i'm so sorry i think i've been compromised--" and goes on about how he needs to go on lockdown alert mode until he figures out what happened and who found him out and meanwhile kon's just. go back. the pigeon. describe that again.

tim describes the fucked up mangled burnt pigeon. and kon, who has dealt with his fair share of Superdog Presents and thought they'd come to an understanding about "krypto you can't do that you'll DECIMATE local wildlife" and such, just narrows his eyes. turns to the dog bed next to him. goes ……………………….. krypto.

and krypto's like :) wag wag wag :) yes thats me :) wag wag :) im good dog :) he is SO pleased with himself. thats one mystery solved!

this ends in tim, haunted, sitting at the farmhouse kitchen table while ma frets over him and makes him hot chocolate, kon wraps him in a blanket, krypto licks his feet, and lois is just like. yeah. been there. just be glad it wasn't sea monsters.

Day 2 without electricity, thanks to all the snow and ice! 🥶 My phone battery is somehow still hanging on, and I’m keeping warm with a fireplace, blankets, and my dog. Outside, it’s 21°F with about 8 inches of snow and a nice sheet of ice. Apparently, this is some of the heaviest snow we’ve had in over 10 years—and judging by the state of my tree, I think it agrees. (the ice is pretty tho...)

I’ve miraculously avoided falling on my butt or launching a snowball at anyone. (Not that I’d ever consider pelting my brother for making a short joke towards me… nope, not me. 🙃)

Writing is tricky without power, but I’m making do by jotting down ideas and code in my notes app. On the bright side, I’ve been brainstorming some fun details for Chapter 2! There’s a scene where you’ll get to choose pajama styles, but my little lizard brain can only think of so many options. If you have any specific types you’d love to see, drop them in the comments—I’d love to hear your suggestions!

So far I have:

Oversized t-shirt

Classic pajamas, long sleeves with pajama pants (I'm thinking the plaid type, but I may add some variations.)

Nightie (because I remember someone mentioning wearing that in front of Cam to torture him. Sorry bud.)

Nightgown (Old school, as in Scrooge's nightgown and night cap. Because why not?)

Nightgown with a fuzzy robe.

A certain ex-friend/ex-lover's blue sweater.

Just pajama pants?

Onesie (the kind with the butt flap it has nothing to do with ease of access, i do not have something in mind because they're adorable but Chicago gets cold so also efficient.)
