Choosing the Right Foods for a French bulldog with a Stomach Sensitivity There are few factors which needs to be considered while buying the Best Food For French Bulldogs With Sensitive Stomach. 1- Protein The optimum protein for dogs with a well-balanced amino acid profile and being easily digestible for dogs with sensitive stomachs. A dog's stomach is far more forgiving to fish and poultry than beef or any other red meat. Salmon is a good choice if you believe your dog can manage fish. Besides being easy to digest, salmon is also a good source of healthy fats, which can benefit the appearance and health of your hair and skin. 2- Carbohydrate Carbohydrates have a significant impact on the digestive health of your dog. Wheat and maize are common ingredients in many commercial dog meals, which can be difficult for certain dogs to digest. Choosing grain-free dog food or food that includes oats, rice, or potatoes is a better alternative. Your dog's general well-being will benefit from these carbohydrate sources, which are simpler to digest and include more fibre and minerals. Also Read : Best Bed for French Bulldog 3- Fat Low-fat dog food will help your dog if it has difficulty digesting fat. Fat absorption can be detected by the presence of light-coloured, foul-smelling faeces that is overflowing with undigested fat. It can signify that your dog is having trouble digesting fat, so you should consult your veterinarian right away if you observe this. Conclusion If you have a French bulldog with a delicate stomach, these above mentioned meal options are perfect for you. They all have elements that provide the necessary nutrition for your dogs continued good health, happiness, and strength. Even if your French bulldog is an adult, most of these dog meals will help him keep his weight in check. For example, some of the above foods are meat-based, and some are grain-based, so you'll need to know your dog's dietary requirements before deciding on food from this list. Last but not least, consider what your French bulldog enjoys. A new brand of food may be necessary if they don't like it. Your Frenchie, like us, will want to savour their food! We’ll discuss a couple of of the foremost important benefits you (and your dog) will enjoy if you choose to store your dog’s food during a storage container below.
Tumblr media
They Keep Food Fresh
When food isn’t stored properly, there's a risk of it spoiling or going stale and losing nutritional value; your pet may even be less curious about his or her food when it changes texture and flavor.
Using a storage container to stay your pet’s food fresh may be a good way to make sure you’ll never need to throw out stale kibble!

Nobody wants to believe bugs or rodents in their homes, but these critters can sometimes find their way into our pantries and wreak havoc if we aren’t prepared.
With a durable storage container, you won’t need to worry about pests chewing through food bags or getting into through small openings. Bacteria and mold also will be held cornered by an airtight container that keeps moisture and bacteria out.

For example, wood (unless it's finished with an honest water-proof sealer) shouldn’t be wont to store unbagged food, because the pores within the wood can allow molds or bacteria to persist. Additionally, wooden containers are rarely insect-proof, so you'll find yourself with bugs in your pet’s food.

How To Feed Your Dog Part 5: How Much Does It Cost To Feed My Dog?
Many people don’t really have an idea how much their dog food costs are. A few math problems can get you the answer and help you find the best food your budget can handle. To do this, you take the number of grams fed from Part 4 and the number of grams in the container as a whole. The food I have been using as an example is Purina Pro Plan Sport All Life Stages Performance 30/20 Salmon & Rice and it comes in a 33 lb bag, to find out the grams I just put it into google and get 14968 grams so you need to divide the fed grams by the total grams to get the percent fed a day
133/14968=0.89%
So each day, you are feeding .89% of the total food in the bag. The next step is multiplying the percent fed by the price of the entire bag which is $52 so what you have to do is multiply the percentage fed by the total price to find the cost per day
.89%*52=.46
So it costs 46 cents a day to feed this food. You can do steps 4 and 5 with several different foods to find different prices based on the number of grams that will need to be fed to make the calorie intake. When picking food, make sure to pick high-quality foods! This site is a good one to make sure the company is accurately representing its food to the public.

The Gambian pouched rat (Cricetomys gambianus), also known as the African giant pouched rat, is a nocturnal pouched rat of the giant pouched rat genus Cricetomys, and is among the largest muroids in the world, growing up to about 3 feet long including their tail which makes up half their length.
These rats are becoming useful in some areas for detecting land mines: their acute sense of smell is very effective in detecting explosives such as TNT, and at the same time they are light enough to not detonate any of the mines and are cheaper to train than mine-detecting dogs. The rats are being trained by APOPO, a nonprofit social venture based in Tanzania. APOPO is also training the rats to detect tuberculosis by sniffing sputum samples. The rats can test many more samples than can a scientist—hundreds in a day, compared with 30 to 40 by traditional methods. Land mine and tuberculosis sniffing rats are called HeroRats.
The procedure for training rats to detect land mines was conceived of and developed by Belgian Bart Weetjens. Training starts at four weeks of age when the rats are handled to accustom them to humans and exposed to a variety of sights and sounds. They learn to associate a clicker with a food reward of banana or banana-peanut paste. They are then trained to indicate a hole which contains TNT by nosing it for five seconds. Then they learn to find the correct hole in a line of holes. Finally, the rat is trained to wear a harness and practises outdoors on a lead, finding inactive mines under soil. At the end of their training, they are tested: they must find all the mines in an area of 400 m2 (480 sq yd) that has been seeded with inactivated mines. It is a blind test: their handlers do not know where the mines are. If they succeed, they are certified as bomb-sniffing rats.
It is not a true rat but is part of an African branch of muroid rodents. It typically weighs between 2.2 and 3.1 lbs. In its native Africa, the pouched rat lives in colonies of up to twenty, usually in forests and thickets, but also commonly in termite mounds. It is omnivorous, feeding on vegetables, insects, crabs, snails and other items, but apparently preferring palm fruits and palm kernels.
The Gambian pouched rat has very poor eyesight and so depends on its senses of smell and hearing. Its name comes from the large, hamster-like pouches in its cheeks. These cheek pouches allow it to gather up several kilograms of nuts per night for storage underground. It has been known to stuff its pouches so full of date palm nuts so as to be hardly able to squeeze through the entrance of its burrow.
The burrow consists of a long passage with side alleys and several chambers, one for sleeping and the others for storage. The Gambian pouched rat reaches sexual maturity at 5–7 months of age. It has up to four litters every nine months, with up to six offspring in each litter. Males are territorial and tend to be aggressive when they encounter one another.
Giant pouched rats are easily tamed as pets. Gambian pouched rats have become an invasive species on Grassy Key in the Florida Keys, after a private breeder allowed the animals to escape. This outsized African rodent is also believed to be responsible for the 2003 outbreak of monkeypox in the United States, after spreading it to prairie dogs which were purchased as pets. Around 20 individuals were affected. In 2003, the United States' CDC and FDA issued an order preventing the importation of the rodents following the first reported outbreak of monkeypox.

Native to Mexico, Blind Cave Fish find their way around by means of lateral lines running along the lengths their bodies. The lines are highly sensitive to fluctuating water pressure. However, not all forms of Cave Fish are truly blind: some have degenerated sight and some are totally blind, while still others have lost their eyes completely.
About 30 populations of Blind Cave Fish are known, dispersed over three geographically distinct areas of Mexico. At least three have full cave forms—blind and without pigment. Another eleven known species have cave, “normal,” and intermediate forms. At least one species has both cave and “normal” forms but no intermediates. Different forms can interbreed, making this species ideal for studying convergent and parallel evolution, regressive evolution in cave animals, and the genetic basis of regressive traits. This, combined with the ease of maintaining the species in captivity, has made it the most studied cavefish and likely also the most studied cave organism in the world.
Say it with me now: aposematic. It’s just a big word meaning that when it comes to the natural world, bright colors often signal danger. This is the case with the Poison Dart Frog. Native to tropical Central and South America, these species are diurnal with brightly coloured bodies. These mostly small amphibians are often called “dart frogs,” due to indigenous peoples’ use of their toxic secretions to poison the tips of blowdarts (though this practice is much rarer than popularly believed). Poison Dart Frogs are dedicated parents, raising their young in secluded, watery nurseries. They mate much like fish: Females deposit the eggs and the males fertilize them. While they’re occasionally seen clutching one another, these are usually territorial wrestling matches between 2 males.
If you’re anything like us, there’s nothing particularly common about a vampire bat. Found all over the Americas, the Common Vampire Bat is rare among bat species because it has maintained the ability to run on land and has relatively good eyesight. They have a unique, bounding gait when they do run. The forelimbs are used instead of the hindlimbs to propel forward, as the wings are much more powerful than the legs. Feeding mostly at night, Common Vampire Bats eat primarily mammalian blood. Their most common food sources are cattle and horses, but they’re also known to go after wild prey like the tapir. However, they do seem to prefer domesticated animals, favoring horses over cattle, and female animals over males (particularly those in estrus).
Also known as the Mexican Walking Fish, the Axolotl is actually a salamander. Native to Mexico, Axolotls are unusual among amphibians because instead of developing lungs and taking to the land, adults remain aquatic and gilled. Axolotls were sold as food in Mexican markets and were a staple in the Aztec diet. The coolest thing about Axolotls is their regenerative abilities. They are capable of regenerating lost appendages in a period of months. Some have even been found restoring less crucial parts of their own brain. They can also accept transplants from other Axolotls, including eyes and parts of the brain. Axolotls are used extensively in scientific research because of their unique healing abilities.
Matamatas inhabit slow-moving blackwater streams, stagnant pools, marshes, and swamps in northern Bolivia, eastern Peru, Ecuador, eastern Colombia, Venezuela, the Guianas, and northern and central Brazil. Strictly aquatic, Matamata Turtles are large with an oversized triangular head. The unusual head also has distinctive flaps of skin and a horn on its long snout. A Matamata’s shell resembles a piece of bark, and its head mimics fallen leaves. As it lays motionless in the water, skin flaps enable the turtle to blend into the surrounding vegetation until a fish comes close. Then the Matamata thrusts open its large mouth as wide as possible, creating a low-pressure vacuum that sucks prey into its mouth. This is known as suction feeding. After snapping shut its mouth, water is slowly expelled, and the fish is swallowed whole. Matamatas cannot chew.
The Komodo Dragon, also known as the Komodo Monitor, is found in the islands of Indonesia. These predators truly look like relics from the age of dinosaurs. Komodos are the largest living species of lizard, growing to a maximum length of up to 10 feet. In rare cases, they can reach up to 150 lbs. A nightmare with scales! The unusually large size of the Komodo Dragon has been attributed to island gigantism, with little competition from any other carnivores. Komodo Dragons dominate their ecosystems. They’ve even been known to attack humans. They hunt by ambushing prey including invertebrates, birds, and mammals. They have glands in their lower jaw which secrete several toxic proteins, shown to contain anticoagulant properties. Komodo Dragons also hunt in groups, a rare behavior in the reptile world.
The Desert Ironclad Beetle, or Blue Death-Feigning Beetle, is native to the deserts of the southwestern United States. It has been known to feign death when threatened. They’re actually popular pets due to ease of care, hardiness, and longevity. The powdery blue coloring of these beetles comes from a wax secreted throughout their bodies that keeps them from losing moisture. They cannot climb on smooth surfaces (plastic or glass). As pets, these insects require little to no additional heat or humidity. They need dry sand, something to hide in, and not much else. They don’t drink water, sourcing hydration from foods such as apples. They can even eat dog and cat food.
Native to the islands of Indonesia, Babirusas were once used as gifts to royalty. Their preferred habitats are tropical rainforests along riverbanks. While related to pigs, Babirusas do not dig with their snout like other pigs do (except in mud and swampy grounds). The diet of the Babirusa includes leaves, roots, fruits, and animal material. The strong jaws of a Babirusa are capable of easily cracking hard nuts. Male Babirusas tend to live solitarily while adult females and their young are found in groups, which can number up to about 80 individuals. The tusks of adult males are used to fight: Upper tusks are for defense while the lower are offensive weapons. If the tusks aren’t ground down regularly, they can eventually grow so long that they penetrate the animal’s own skull.
The Legless Lizard, also commonly called Pallas’ Glass Lizard or the European Legless Lizard, is found from southern Europe to Central Asia. They can reach lengths of nearly 5 feet. They are tan colored, paler on the ventral surface and the head, with a segmented appearance that makes it look like a giant earthworm. They aren’t truly legless. Small rear legs are sometimes visible. Though the legs are barely discernible, the Legless Lizard can be quickly distinguished from a snake by its ears and eyelids.

You must first understand what food allergies are and what causes them. Allergies are the body's response to allergens contained in food. Hypersensitivity, which is similar to an allergy, may be encountered. Allergic responses are frequently caused by an overabundance of histamine in the body. Exposure to an allergy-causing substance, scientifically termed an "allergen," usually causes this release. Unfortunately, anything in your dog's environment can be an allergen, and you'll probably never know what's causing your Frenchie's allergic reaction until it happens. Here's a list of some common allergens to help you prepare for any unexpected event and respond appropriately: Dairy, eggs, wheat, chicken, fish, soy, and pork are examples of these foods. Vaccines and antibiotics. Chemicals in the vicinity of the dog, such as carpet cleaners, bug spray, and air fresheners. Insect bites or stings, such as wasps or bees. Improvements I'm going to make to my body:
Lose excess fat. A little fat on my hips, butt, and thighs can stay, and I know my tiddies aren't going anywhere, but I want at least 30 pounds of it gone.
That said, I also want to build a significant amount of muscle, so I'll likely not weigh less than 140 lbs when I reach my goal.
If I could have a body like this one IG user I follow called tobesuperwoman, that would be amazing. She's so muscular and has such thick and strong looking thighs and a small waist, she looks like a dream.
A thigh gap is unlikely considering my goal is muscles, but firming up my inner thighs would still be great.
I want to be able to stand up for longer than 5 minutes without my back hurting like a bitch.
I want to be able to carry more stuff when returning from grocery trips. My husband prefers to carry particularly heavy things like jugs of cat litter, bags of dog food, and grocery bags full of canned goods, but I'd like to be able to carry more than the bags containing eggs and bread without pain.
I want to be able to do literally anything without dislocating ribs. I have severe scoliosis and this shit happens ALL THE TIME but my chiropractor says if I build a good amount of muscle in my upper back it won't happen as much if at all.
I want my breasts to not sag so much. They literally reach my stomach and I hate it. I'm going to be doing intensive chest workouts to try and improve this.
I want to get rid of my hip dips. They're annoying. If I wear low rise pants, no matter how loose they are, they look like they're squeezing my love handles.
I want a rounder, firmer butt and firmer thighs.
I also want my thighs and calves to be more proportional. As of now, my calves are skinny but my thighs are thicc.
I want my 6 pack and tiny waist back. I can live with my waist being 28 inches instead of the 26 it used to be, as long as I have my 6 pack and my hip dips are gone.
I want my arms to be toned up. They don't have to be skinny; some nice biceps might be cool. I just want them more proportional and less jiggly.
I want my jawline and cheekbones sharper and my collarbones visible.
I want to be able to wear my wedding ring again.
I want to get rid of my tan lines and make my skin even and milky pale again. I plan to use homemade exfoliating scrubs with lemon and tomato juice for this.
I want to figure out a way to remove my body hair without making my skin horribly dry and unbearably itchy no matter how much or what kind of lotion I use. More power to the folks that like their body hair, but I don't like mine. It disrupts the smooth texture of my skin and it's dark and coarse and I want it gone. I can't use Nair until all the scabs from scratching heal, and when I shave I have to take several steps to make my skin slightly less itchy when I'm done. I want to try waxing but I need to decide on what kind of wax to get.
I want to whiten my teeth. This should not be hard; I just have to remember to brush my teeth every day. But I forget so often. Might need to set an alarm for this too.
I want to keep my skin clear and soft. I've made an excellent face scrub that I'll post a recipe for. I just have to use it regularly.
I want to keep my lips soft and rosy. I have a homemade lip scrub, I just need to remember to use it. I also need to remember to use lip balm all the time.
I want my hair to be soft and floofy. It usually is when it's freshly washed and dried, but it frizzes easily.
I'm thinking about getting a layered haircut. I haven't had one in over a decade, but it might help make my hair look more floofy. The age of straight and sleek is out. The age of waves and floof is in.
I will NOT focus on how much I dislike the things about my appearance I don't like. Instead, I will focus on improving and working toward my goals until I have the look of my dreams.

But after ripping it open, those capabilities are compromised, thereby exposing the kibbles to these harsh elements. Which then quickens the decomposition process.

Everyday Life in a RV
Another beautiful day in Florida!  I ABSOLUTELY understand now why snow birds make their way to Florida to spend the winter.  The weather here is second to none!  While we arrived in Florida a little early and caught the end of summer temperatures (in November) with slightly high temperatures and incredibly high humidity, the weather has since leveled out and is practically perfect every day.
When Mark and I planned this venture, we vacillated as to whether or not we would tow a vehicle.  We knew we “wanted” a vehicle and having one would be more convenient.  However, we ended up settling on getting fold-able electric bikes (e-bikes) and to be inconvenienced by having to run our errands in the RV between stops or on our e-bikes.  That has turned out humorous on more than one occasion.
As an example, we had issues with the drain in the RV shower and worked on that problem tirelessly.  Let me rephrase, Mark worked on that problem tirelessly.  My “work” involved paying for my very first “pay” shower at a park in Oklahoma where I had to choose between three showers.  One had a tarantula guarding the inside of the front door.  Nope.  The second had a wolf spider guarding the shower floor.  Nopity, nope, NOPE!   The third was just right.  More accurately stated, it didn’t involve any intimidating spiders or snakes so I took it.  I don’t remember how much it cost, but I would have paid serious money for a decent shower that didn’t involve creatures that could kill me.
Getting back to the shower repair -- Mark got parts at three different hardware stores that didn’t end up fitting/working.  So, we eventually fixed the RV in the Home Depot parking lot so we could return parts as necessary.  It was hot as bejesus that day, but Mark didn’t complain.  He took advantage of the return policy and got our shower back up and in running condition before we left the parking lot.  While I don’t mind doing my part, I’d be happy as to not have to pay for another shower anytime soon.  But let the record reflect, I’m a giver.
Between RV stop locations, we usually plan a grocery store venture and/or a Costco run.  While our fridge isn’t Costco worthy by any stretch of the imagination, we do buy Costco dog food for Riley and Duke (and red wine need not be refrigerated).  This particular stop we are at for a full month and while I’m not out of red wine (yet), we did need a few necessities.
On Sunday after church service, Mark and I ventured over to the local Winn-Dixie (grocery store) on our e-bikes, which is approximately three miles from our RV for some necessities.  We both take our backpacks to carry groceries, but on this particular venture we needed a few more things than would fit in both of our backpacks.  For example, we NEEDED the half ham that was on sale for only $10 (love those post-Thanksgiving sales)!!  Also, diet Coke was on sale, buy two 12-packs get one for free!  Our backpacks were full of salad, coffee creamer and other necessities, so I convinced Mark it wouldn’t be a problem to bungee cord anything else down to the back rack on our bikes.  He was a willing participant as long as he could get his diet Coke.  This is a picture of Mark with the half of a ham and one pack of diet Coke.  While this picture doesn’t represent the “Clampett look” I was sporting with the other two diet coke 12-packs AND groceries, it does give you an idea of how humorous such a simple thing as grocery shopping can be.
Tumblr media
Much of the rest of any given day is like everyone else’s, EXCEPT looking for stuff.  We have such a small amount of space and we kept very few things.  However, nothing is more frustrating than knowing you have something and in 31 feet of space, you can’t find it.  Many times I’ll be looking for something, like the dog’s nail clippers.  I know I have one ... but where in the 42 bazillion little containers, cabinets or under storage compartments it is, I have no clue.  I’ve lost these dumb dog nail clipper thingies TWICE now.  I don’t know what is up with that, but I’ve noticed that on a rig this size, that tends to happen.  You know it exists.  You know it’s in your possession...somewhere.  You’ve seen it in the last few months, weeks and sometimes days ... but when it’s necessary to find it, it’s no where to be found.  Grrrr.  I’m blaming this problem on the size of the RV and praying it’s not my old age kicking into high gear.
Learning how to live in 31 feet of space has been interesting, fun and challenging.  I love our little space in life.  It’s portable and I can take it to any place I’d like.  I can enjoy the outdoors in any state, any weather, any place I desire.  That’s pretty cool.  It’s also easy to clean and doesn’t take too long to clean.  It’s such a little space, cleaning is done in a breeze.  With two dogs though, cleaning needs to be done more often than one would hope (definitely an argument for getting rid of the dogs, but we all know that is never going to happen).
I also get to spend a lot of time with my husband.  I like him.  I love him.  I enjoy his company.  I find him hysterical even in the every day humdrum of life.  So I enjoy having him around.  We also have our subtle ways of getting our own alone time.  It may involve a walk, a jog, a bike ride alone or sometimes its as simple as putting in ear buds as a signal that “I don’t want to interact”.  We are both independent, so just taking on a project is usually a signal to the other that we are “good” on our own.  None the less, it’s been a great experience for us both and we still enjoy each others company.
The other thing I get asked about quite frequently is the bathroom situation.  Yes, there is only one bathroom.  Its not a Jack and Jill bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and a separate closet with a toilet.  It is a dry toilet with a small sink and stand-up shower, all in one small space - meaning one person can stand between the sink, toilet and shower.  There is a spray wand next to the toilet to fill the bowl with water and a foot pedal that is used for flushing.  The sink is small, like a doll house small, but large enough for the task of washing hands and face, and brushing teeth.  The shower is plenty big.  I’m 5 foot almost 2 inches and I can stand up in it.  Just kidding - my 6 foot husband can stand up in it, so it’s definitely functional (now that the drain has been fixed).  There is a vent in the ceiling with a push button exhaust fan and the toilet is like a regular toilet, except for needing to fill it with water yourself.  That’s the bathroom situation.  Nothing glamorous and generally no secrets.
My husband and I don’t keep the same hours.  Meaning, it’s not all that uncommon for him to get up between 3:30-5:00 a.m..  At the same time, I’ll look at the clock, do a quick calculation in my head and then a happy dance over the 4 hours I still get to sleep.  When my husband gets up, he’s really respectful of the fact that most normal people are still asleep, including his wife and two dogs.  So he quietly relocates to the living room/dining room area and does his thing until the sun comes up.  We have levelers on the RV, so his movement is negligible.
As soon as I stir, or when Mark gets stir crazy, he’ll take the dogs for a walk.  There is nothing subtle about that process as much as Mark tries to keep it contained.  Our 70 lb. black Labrador retriever, Duke, moves about the cabin like a bull in a china shop.  Between his wagging tail slapping against the cabinets and his incessant yawning, even the neighbors are ready for him to WALK ALREADY!  Riley, our 23 lb. Japanese Spitz isn’t all that cooperative either.  She gets a psychotic episode and is afraid to walk across the vinyl floor.  Yes, she’ll step out on it, and step back on her little piece of carpet, then back out on the floor and back on the carpet.  From underneath the comforter all I hear is Mark loudly whispering “Riley, come!” and the tap-tap-tap of Riley’s toenails on the vinyl floor several times until she drums up enough courage to make a break for it and hurriedly jogs across the four feet of vinyl flooring between her little piece of carpet and the door.  As my friend Wendy says, she was perfect until I got her.
Tumblr media
Everyday life in an RV is pretty much like everyone else’s everyday life,  with a few slight nuances.  Mark and I could have made different choices so as to not have to bungee cord our groceries to the back of bikes, live in a home that we sleep in and drive, live in such a small space, and/or waited until the dogs were gone to start this venture.  But for us we talked about the choices we were making in advance and collectively agreed while some things would be inconvenient, we would give it a whirl and see what we thought.  If we found we hated it down the road, we’d make a change.  So far, we don’t hate anything about it.  Quite this opposite.  We are super glad we took this journey and in the way we did.
As I mentioned previously, we are transitioning to a “newer” journey.  We found the boat that we would like to live on and have an accepted offer on that boat.  Because there are still many steps in the process (it’s sooooooo different from buying a house) and too many things could go wrong that it would be premature for me to talk about the specifics of the boat.  However, in my next blog I’ll talk about the boat purchasing process and hopefully we’ll be far enough along in the process that I can reveal a thing or two about what I hope to be our new home.  Stay tuned....
Until we meet again,
Sherri (and by contractual obligation, Mark)

Item #: SCP-038
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-038 is to be watered twice per day via overhead mister. Should the mister break for any reason, attendants should water SCP-038 by hand until it has been fixed. Lighting is provided by computer-controlled lighting array. Attendants watering SCP-038 by hand and maintenance personnel fixing mister or lighting should wear hazmat suits to prevent accidental cloning.
Description: SCP-038 was found on an abandoned farm in █████████████, New York, in 19██. It was at first thought to be a common apple tree. However, upon closer inspection, it became apparent that SCP-038 was growing things other than apples and, in fact, other than fruit.
SCP-038 has the ability to clone any object that touches its bark. Objects begin growing almost instantaneously and reach maturity within a matter of minutes. A weight limit of 90.9 kg (200 lb) per object has been recorded. Objects that SCP-038 has thus far cloned include: apples, oranges, watermelons, eggplants, candy bars, snack foods (See Addendum #1), televisions, toasters, laptops, keys (See Addendum #2), chairs, wine, DVDs, CDs (See Addendum #3), cats, dogs, and people.
Human and animal cloning through SCP-038 is not recommended, as they appear to age quickly. The majority of these clones live, on average, two (2) weeks. After thorough examination of the deceased clones, it has been determined that they had begun to ferment before death.
Object is currently held on Site-23 and there are currently no plans to move it.
Addendum #1: Dr. Klein has requested that personnel discontinue the cloning of items from the vending machines. (See Document #338-1)
Addendum #2: Dr. Klein has requested that personnel discontinue the cloning of personal items. (See Document #338-1)
Addendum #3: Dr. Klein has requested that personnel discontinue the cloning of movies and music. (See Document #338-1)
Addendum #4: Dr. Klein has requested that personnel discontinue the cloning of cans of Miller, Budweiser, and Foster's. Dr. Klein has furthermore expressed customary disapproval of the quality of such cloned items. (See Document #338-1b)
---
Document #338-1: "I would like to remind all personnel that SCP-038 is not, I repeat, not a toy. It should not be used for cloning car keys, movies, music, or items from the vending machines. If this behavior continues I will be forced to limit access to SCP-038. — Dr. Klein"
---
Document #338-2: It has been noted that SCP-038 is able to clone SCP-500 — however, such pills only work 30% of the time, with chance of successful healing dropping as time since cloned increases. In 60% of the cases where the infection is permanent, symptoms of infection remain, though further infection is neutralized.
---
SCP-038 Partial Testing Log - select experiments only For full test records and reports, contact affiliated researchers for authorization
Date: 11/08/████ Intent: Confirmation of mass limit: investigation into consequences of exceeding limit. Summary of test results: 400 pound steel ingot made contact with the outer bark of SCP-038. Chamber vacated as a precaution. Cloned ingot grew at typical speed, but growth halted abruptly short of completion. Examination of the end of the aborted facsimile revealed a rough texture superficially resembling miniature-scale tree bark. Item detached from SCP-038 as typical, and was subsequently found to weigh 90.91 kilograms, or almost precisely 200 pounds.
---
Date: 11/08/████ Intent: Investigation into duplication of non-biological animate matter. Summary of test results: SCP-173, deemed a suitable test subject because of its lack of verifiable life processes, introduced into containment chamber by Class-D personnel. Contact made with the outer bark of SCP-038, and SCP-173 returned immediately to containment. SCP-173 facsimile began development at typical speed, beginning at point of contact. As consistent with previous results, growth halted at the 200-pound threshold, in this case terminating development after replication of the head, right arm, and partial upper torso. Class-D test subject was ordered to break eye contact with clone. When test subject eventually blinked, no movement was observed in cloned material. Extinguishing and reestablishment of containment chamber light supply revealed no apparent reaction from cloned material. Experiment concluded. During storage of cloned portion of SCP-173, it was observed that the partial facsimile was in fact making violent gestures, at a dramatically slower rate. Movement was shown to continue regardless of state of observation.
