like okay. the entire pack and probably theo himself think that hes responsible for her death, but the pack hates him and doesnt trust him for valid reasons and theo is traumatized and holds guilt over her death so hes probably convinced himself that he did kill her. i just dont believe thats true.

in s5b when hes with stiles in the tunnels (i forgot why they're down there but whatever) and stiles tells him "oh yeah, the guy that killed his own sister when he was nine?" and theo argues back "yeah. i was nine. i had no idea what was going on." and that he also still believed santa exists so obviously he believed the dread doctors when they told him she wanted him to have his heart.

first of all: this is s5b. hes long dropped his act and he has no reason to lie in this moment. he knows that stiles wont fall for his lies and hes stopped lying and transitioned into threatening and intimidating anyway. theres no good reason for theo to lie to stiles here: theres no actual benefit that would come from that.

and his behavior points towards him telling the truth. instead of deflecting or making a joke, or any of the stuff he usually does to get his way, he starts explaining and defending himself. he seems almost agitated that stiles claims that he did kill tara and argues why he didnt.

and ofc stiles doesnt believe him and tells him "i think you pushed her. i think you liked it." which is, sorry, utter bullshit. i understand why stiles says this (yk. theo killed his bffie and all that) but i think stiles is purposely turning everything that he knows about theo into something evil. he doesnt want to believe that theo was a victim of his circumstances, because that would make him human, that would explain why he became the person that he is. its easier to fall back onto the "hes just purely evil" argument, because then he can hate theo for what he did.

stiles is smart. thats his whole thing. thats his whole thing with theo, that he was "smart enough not to trust him" as theo says to the sheriff in s6a. stiles knows that theo was a child, that its likely that theo got manipulated and groomed by the dread doctors. but, i think, he decides not to care about that, to ignore that. he hates theo and he wants to hate theo, but if he starts looking at the reasons for why he did what he did, he'll begin to understand him. and while he'll still never forgive theo, that will reduce this fury he has for him because, newsflash, theo was a CHILD.

people argue that tw doesnt show us enough of his back story to back this up and yeah, i kinda agree. we dont get enough of his story because teen wolf ALWAYS does this. with every character. they insinuate something, they start something interesting that could give their characters depth and then they abandon it and its like the characters just forget about it. all this show has is small details for fans to focus on if you want to analyze anything, because this show is objectively not good enough to actually do that.

+ theo is a side character. he wasnt even meant to stay as long as he did and cody did his best to work with the material. if your argument is that theres missing context and only vaguely shown stuff, im sorry but thats so stupid. thats not a good argument for in canon. "oh but we never see theo do this or that" HES A SIDE CHARACTER. he wasnt even supposed to come back! and tw is not a very good show! obviously they added more depth to his character in s6 because cody came back. like yeah theres stuff that doesnt make sense (like the show saying he didnt have a heart condition), because his back story got added as an afterthought in s6. you cant only look at s5 and judge his character based on that. his depth comes from s6 and its not the characters fault that the show has bad writing.

and if you simply dont like theo, cool. i dont like a bunch of characters in tw. but i find this argument that hes actually evil and deserved getting tortured and whatever exhausting and annoying.

if you dont have empathy for his character in s6 bc you just hate him, fine. i dont care. but if you're talking about this in a more analytical way? fuck off. he was a child, the show points towards him getting groomed and abused by the dread doctors and guess what? even during his villain arc, hes still a child. yes he should take responsibility for what he did, im not excusing any of that stuff. but theres reasons for why he did all that.

and again, dumb tv logic reasons, but most of the villains getting away unscathed, fucking peter hale and deucalion being allowed to just kinda wander around while theo is in an eternal time loop of torture? like this technically erases the packs rule of not killing because i dont think its weird for me to argue that getting non-stop tortured without the ability to die is objectively worse than actually dying. and yeah, tv logic, but if you think that (in canon, not just bc you personally dont like theo) he deserved that, idk. weird. very weird.

Lo'ak throughout his time with the metkayina clan he felt like an outsider, more than his siblings. Before and after the war. Although the Olo'eytkan, Tonowari, and the Tsahik Ronal, have fully accepted him and his family, there is still doubt in his heart.

Tsireya is there to support him and to a degree makes him feel comfortable and feel better. But there is only so much she can do, not her fault. There is no one to blame.

But when one day to the surprise of the sully family, norm and max went to visit them. And they brought a special someone. His long time dear friend slan.

Slan was a human girl who grew up with him since young. Lo'ak could always depend on slan for many things, pull a prank? she is on to it. Make something? Slan presents the only the best quality. Annoy the hell out of neteyam? Slan is there to double roast him.

Slan was there for everything. And she was everything for lo'ak. He admits he gets a tiny bit possessive over her. Not wanting one of the good things in his life. Sure he has his siblings and spider, but spider is there mostly for kiri.

So lo'ak would spend a lot of time with slan. Even if he has duties to attend to, slan was there to help him despite being small.

So when the day came that lo'ak and his family had to leave the forest, he was heartbroken, to leave the forest was to leave slan. His best friend. It hurt him to live somewhere where he doesnt know how slan is. Or what she is doing.

But now that is gone. For slan came with norm and max, she missed her blue bestie and wanted to see how he was doing.

"lo'ak!!" slan shouts as she runs and jumps into lo'ak's arms which he catches on instinct. He hugged her tightly, taking in her familiar scent, which was of fresh earth, tropical rain and hint of fruit. She smelled of the forest. A sense of home.

"its so good to see you again! I have so many things to tell you!" slan said, not letting go of her grip on lo'ak, not that he didnt mind or anything. Lo'ak smiled widely, "I have so many things to tell you too!" taking her in his home, slan looked everywhere and everything with wonder.

Took all day to show slan just his home. And he didnt mind. He was happy to have slan's attention on him. He missed her smiles and giggles. What was a distant memory now is in front of him. Her compliments, her praises, he cherished them. And couldnt wait for tomorrow!

He hated that tomorrow.

As tomorrow is now today.

Tuk suggested that lo'ak shows slan around the beach, show her more of their new home. Lo'ak thought it was a good idea. Show her everything he learned and what he does now.

His biggest mistake was to take her to the ilu pen. Lo'ak's idea was to show her the animals the people tame and use for their daily things at the reef. What lo'ak didn't think was seeing ao'nung there.

Ao'nung heard from his fathers that loyal sky demons were visiting and that they meant no hard. He didnt care, and would purposely stay away from them. Not wanting to make contact with any of them. However, seems like Eywa had other plans for him.

Not far from the ilu pens did he notice lo'ak but he wasnt alone. A little sky demon was with him. Ao'nung wanted to go away quickly but he had to take care of his ilu much to his dismay.

He couldnt flat out ignore lo'ak either, seems he was stuck. Slan saw him, she already saw how the reef na'vi look by meeting ronal and tonowari. Yet she wanted to meet more like them. Lo'ak wanted to be anywhere but there but looking at slan's face, he knew he couldnt be rude at what she wanted.

Ao'nung surprisingly made the first move, going over to lo'ak and crossing his arms. "Brining the little demon to the ilu? God board having her in your mauri?" he teased. Lo'ak kept his cool, while they were long past fighting each other, there was still a bit of competition between them.

"she has a name" lo'ak answerd. Taking that as her cue, slan introduced herself by saying her name. "but you can call me slan, everyone does" she grins nervously.

Ao'nung tilts his head, now he is interested. "well then slan, what brings you here?" he asks, "oh! lo'ak wanted to show me the ilu's!" she answered happily.

Ao'nung decided to be a little shit and confidently touches slan's shoulder, guiding her closer to the pen. "Well since I was about to do my job here, I think I am more suited to talk about ilu's than lo'ak" he smirks.

Slan and ao'nung began to talk, and ao'nung didnt care of lo'ak was thinking of a million ways to kill him. He shared slan everything about lo'ak time with the clan. Even down to his most embarrassing moments when trying to learn how to ride an ilu.

Lo'ak just wanted to dig a hole and die.

But that meeting didnt end there! oh no!

The next day ao'nung and slan chatted more and more. Brought her to many places in the island, showed her his people's culture, foods, and sign language.

Slan was taking it all in. Enjoying this new side of the na'vi. Was picking up well in their sign language.

As the days past, both slan and ao'nung have gotten closer. He would offer her rides on his ilu, would take her to interesting sides of the reef, have communal dinners with her. Everything.

That left lo'ak very jealous. Slan was supposed to come and see him only. Not make friends with the one who annoys the hell out of him! His mood dampened and would sulk in his home rather than going outside to do something. Would glare hard behind ao'nung and wish him bad things.

Many days later, slan wanted to go for a swim with lo'ak. Finding him in his hammock she jumped in on his lap smiling at him. "lo'ak! what are you doing inside? lets go outside!" she nudged him.

lo'ak hugged and turned around. "why not go with ao'nung? I'm sure you two would have fuuuuuuuun together" he exaggerated. Slan tilted her head a bit confused. "Ao'nung? no! I wanna swim with you! like how we used to back in the forest! swimming in the lake was one of our favorite things to do!". She tugged his arm, tugged a bit, anything to get his attention.

Lo'ak moved her hand away and went close to her face. "oh so NOW you remember out time together? what about these past few days? Getting closer with that fish lips while I am being ignored? I thought you came here for me! Not for that stupid skawng!" he ranted.

Things clicked in slan's mind and a smirk formed on her lips. "lo'ak.......are you jealouuuuuuuuuuuse~?' she teased while leaning against him. That made lo'ak blush a bit, highlighting his cheeks with a faint purple. Slan gaspsed happily.

"you are!"

"no I am not!"

"yes you are lo'ak!" she giggles.

She lays down, placing her head on his chest. "dont worry lo'ak. Ao'nung is a good guy, but he isnt you. He could never replace you. You are my one and only". She smiles at him, her beautiful eyes staring straight to his golden eyes. A smile reached his lips and placed an arm on her back.

"that's what I thought" he says. Slan plays with a braid on his hair, "come on, lets go for a swim!!" she begs. Lo'ak shakes his head. "nah lets lay in. The water isnt going anywhere". Slan sighs in defeat. So she snuggles up in a comfy position and continues to play with his hair.

do we think about how ryan and aster probably never fully accepted connor being dead. after the first day reset and shit i mean. theyd go to bed, silently hoping tomorrow theyd wake up and itd be like that day never happened, hell maybe they get set back again to the day of the big game. and they both just. they dont want to think of the idea that connors gone.

asters the one who trys to fight for him back. she makes up new reasons and such as to why hes not gone, ways they could possibly bring him back (it doesnt help that in this state she sounds so much like him about his brother). she looks through her dads artifact collections, seeing if any would make sense in any way to bring him back to life, losing care of its cost. she even tries to find his book or something of its nature, but finding that, if even possible, doesnt help because its a book made to kill not bring to life again. i dont imagine asters religious, not in the sense that she doesnt think gods are real (one is her mother), but that she never felt a pull to worship one. for the first time in her life, she tries to pray. she prays to her mother, reciting every word and performing every detail, squishing the tears from her eyes because god she cant let herself be seen so broken by this boy infront of a divine being and sure its the first time shes tried reaching out like this but she just needs one chance to talk to her. of course, whether or not it works and she sees her, she doesnt revive him. the day doesnt reset and he comes back to life. and somewhere inside her she knows this couldnt have worked, shes the daughter of a goddess and knows the balance of mortality and immortality. shes known he was gone the moment the rats attacked. thats why she fought so hard, because the small amounts of divine energy she held surely could beat what has been written by those above her just this once, just for him.

ryan doesnt let himself break. he has a floatball team to be on and an act to keep up and a friend who needs him. he doesnt have the ability to stop and let himself process how hed join in the bullying of "con-nerd" and how he gave ryan that hug before going to that gym and getting to see the vulnerable sides of connor when he talked about or even showed them (he probably showed him his friends) his brother. sure, he may know what its like to have lost family and connor was close in a way similar (might be a small shipper of those two. what of it. /lh they can be friends too ofc) and now hes gone and hell never get to hear him call ryan stupid when hes wearing his goofy grin or does something actually dumb. ryan, whos meant to be strong, let his friend get crushed by rats. and he wont break. he'll just tell gary to fuck off when hes caught tearing up after a floatball game because he had to look in the stands and know that connors not gonna be there selling hotdogs again. he can just put another lie in his act when hes looking in these history textbooks and say he wasnt thinking of olden magic usages and how they might be able to bring him back, closing his eyes so he doesnt gaze on them.

it takes ryan grabbing asters wrists and looking her dead in the eyes and telling her "i dont fucking like it, but connors gone. you know it. i know it. this is just gonna hurt you more. please. i cant lose one more person." it takes her looking in ryans eyes to see how theyre tired and dried out and his muscles seem to instinctively hold up a smile and how his grips just slightly too strong and yet he just is so tired and wants more then anything his best friend back. his breaths getting shakey and louder and he starts sniffling and she just grabs him down and they become sobbing messes of kids on the floor because god fucking damn it connors gone and nothings magically fixing this and nothing will be the same ever again.

it takes them a bit to figure out where his gravestone is. its empty. they should have honored him sooner, they know it, but they just wanted to hope that it wasnt just connors memory they had left living.

He really doesnt know how you dont notice. The way he laughs at any joke you make, how his eyes follow you around the room wherever you go, how nothing can possibly distract him from you because he’s distracted by you constantly. Doctor Spencer Reid, 99% of the time the highest IQ in any room he walks into, and you have him completely baffled.

He doesnt even need to look up to know it’s you that’s just walked in. It could be you or Derek since you are the only two not yet at work, but some part of Spencer has a sixth sense for you, and his eyes immediately abandon the pages of the book in front of him. There you are, strolling in like a goddess, that same gorgeous smile on your face that you greet all your coworkers with. He waits just a few seconds, and that very smile falls on him.

“Good morning Spencie!” You call out.

He grins back at you and lets go of his book with one hand to wave at you. Spencie. People have referred to him as Spence before, but Spencie? That was something entirely unique to you. For a while, Derek and Rossi made fun of it and referred to him as “Spencie”, too. It was no discredit to you, it was purely because Spencer was never embarrassed to hear you call him that, which all his professional profiling friends knew meant one thing: he liked it, and that was cause for some light bullying. At first, Spencer was mildy irritated by it, but they never made the jokes when you were around, and because you were never given the chance to potentially take offence, it didnt take long for him to discard all negative reactions, and his friends realised his positive feelings towards you were stronger than they thought.

Of course the entire team knew. Did he really think a room filled with profilers wasnt going to pickup on his big fat whopping crush? Spencer knew they’d figure it out eventually. What shocked him most was your obliviousness. He made no real effort to hide his feelings towards you, he couldnt. He gave you at least one compliment a day, whether it related to something you said on a case, remembering someone’s coffee order when they didnt even ask you to get them a coffee, or regarding a new hairstyle you’d tried out. He got very protective of you whenever a case turned dangerous and you were at risk. Spencer knows you are trained and can take care of yourself, but that doesnt mean he wont fear for your safety. The only way he could make his feelings more obvious would be to walk up to you and tell you he’s in love with you, which he couldnt possibly do. He’d rather get shot. Again.

“You should do something for her on Valentine’s Day.” A quiet voice speaks from behind him, Emily.

Spencer tears his gaze from you and clears his throat, staring back down at his book. Even though the entire team knew, he wasnt just going to admit it.

“I dont know what you’re talking about.” He says.

Emily sighs. “Sure you dont. All Im saying is, the tradition of being something synonymous with confidential adorer, might be your best shot at figuring out if she’s interested without just asking her out.”

Emily walks away from Spencer before he has the chance to reply, even though he probably wouldnt have, given that his mind has been blown by what she just told him. Something synonymous with confidential adorer...secret admirer! That might not be a bad idea! And with a week until Valentine’s, he has plenty of time to plan this one out.

Despite Spencer Reid’s brain being a working miracle, he decided to note down his plans, just to make sure he didnt forget anything. Even though it is literally impossible for him to forget anything, unless it traumatises him to the extent of needing a hypnotist to unlock memories for him. But that was years ago.

Red roses. Those were on the list, but he couldnt buy them in bulk. He would have to buy the first ones individually for his first idea, the final dozen were the last part of the plan.

For the next week, everyday when you walked into work, there was a single red rose waiting on your desk. On the first day, you laughed and picked up the rose, looking around and asking who was pranking you. When nobody joined in your laughter, you realised that someone had left you a rose with intent, and that everyone on the team knew that. Spencer analysed the reason behind your laugh, and based on previous conversations with you in which you admitted you’d never been anyone’s Valentine, he concluded that you didnt believe anyone could have enough of an interest in you to treat you that way, because it had never happened. On the second day, you were shocked and silent, blushing and quietly sitting down at your desk, twirling the rose gently around your fingers. On the third day, you walked in and just grinned from ear to ear the moment you saw another rose waiting at your desk. On the fourth day, the team was called in at 4am, and you ran in, hoping to catch out the mysterious rose-deliverer, but even then there was a rose waiting. Your tired eyes teared up at that. On the fifth day, you squealed and jumped around everyone’s desks, clutching the rose and running to Penelope’s office to show it to her. On the sixth day, your entire being lit up at the sight of the small piece of paper sitting next to the rose. Spencer studied how you immediately attached yourself to his words, the fact you hadnt received a note with any of the previous roses put so much weight on the few words.

You are the most beautiful person in the world, to me, and to everyone that has ever met you.

Your back was to him when you read the note, but he heard you sniffle, then take a deep breath and hold the note to your chest, before you tucked it away carefully in your bag. Though you got plenty of work done that day, your eyes drifted to the rose beside you every minute or so.

On the seventh day, Valentine’s Day, you walk into the office slowly, almost hesitantly. When you see the rose there waiting, you smile sadly. Spencer frowns as you pick it up and hold it to your chest.

“The last one.” You chuckle, and Spencer understands. You think that‘s it, it‘s over. He smiles to himself and glances back down at the files on his desk, reassuring himself that later on today, that sadness will disappear. Or in fact, in a few seconds.

This time, the note is in an envelope, which you gently tear open, as though even the envelope is precious because it’s from the rose-sender.

Happy Valentine’s Day, gorgeous.

You freeze, and Spencer can practically hear the cogs turning in your head. In seconds, you speed over to the coffee machine, and sure enough there’s another note.

Aaron laughs and opens his door, handing you another note with a smile.

Spencer cant see your reaction to his next note from where he’s sitting, he cant make it obvious that he’s the culprit so he has to stay in his seat. However, when you return to your desk with a pouty face, Rossi asks what’s wrong before Spencer gets the chance to. You show him the note you got from Penelope.

Im afraid that when it comes to being confronted by you in the daylight, Im a vampire. But trust that you will see me soon. In fact, you’ve already seen me, countless times.

“How can I trust them when I dont know who they are?” You ask the group as they form a circle around you.

JJ wraps an arm around you reassuringly. “Whoever it is, you know them and you trust them, you know that, you just havent linked their personality to these events.”

You nod slowly. “I guess you’re right, it just sucks. I want to know who it is so bad, it’s keeping me up at night!”

Thankfully, the rest of that day is spent writing up reports and filing, nobody has called the team and demanded they get on a flight to wherever. These days arent common, but they’re possible, and Spencer couldnt be happier that one of them has arrived today. He cant help thinking luck might be on his side, or maybe Hotch has somehow scheduled this perfectly for him. Either way, he’s very grateful.

But the end of the day comes sooner than expected, and he finds himself packing up his stuff with shaking hands. You’re distracted, in the middle of a conversation with Rossi, thank goodness. Spencer darts out of the building, getting everything in place in exactly the amount of time he’d predicted he could do this in. 23 seconds. By the time he’s hidden himself, you’re just pushing the building doors open.

You approach your car, eyes immediately locking onto the envelope on your windshield. Now your hands are shaking just like his. You reach for it, opening it so slowly it’s painful for Spencer to watch. Once it’s open, you unfold the page in your hands and start to read.

“Yes.” Spencer replies, and he notices your body beginning to tremble as you slowly turn to face him.

“Spencer.” You breathe, your hands immediately covering your mouth as though his name is new to your lips. You had never suspected it was him, but now you see it couldnt have been anyone else.

Spencer steps out of the shadows, a bouquet of a dozen red roses in his hands. He holds them out to you, and you slowly take them, before launching yourself at him. To avoid crushing the flowers, you hold them in one hand and keep that hand at his back as you hug him, crying into his shirt. Spencer wraps his arms around you in a state of shock, feeling his heart swell in his chest.

“Th-Thank you!” You sob, and Spencer shushes you quietly.

“You dont need to thank me, you deserve romantic gestures like this and so much more.” He coos.

You pull away from him to wipe your eyes with your free hand, and Spencer cant help noticing how adorable you look, smiling through your happy tears.

“You’re the sweetest person I’ve ever known, Spencie.” You tell him, and he beams at you.

“Thank you, (Y/N).”

Your eyes widen. “I have something for you!”

Spencer’s eyebrows furrow in confusion as you awkwardly fish through your bag with your free hand, until you retrieve a piece of paper of your own. You pass it to him, and he’s about to open it, but your phone beeps.

“You’ve got to be fucking kidding.” You groan in frustration, throwing your head back dramatically.

“What is it?” Spencer asks.

You shake your head and put your phone away. “I love Hotch, but Im about to disembowl him for this timing. Wheels up in 30, come on!” You grab Spencer’s arm and drag him back into the building.

As much as Aaron may have tried to avoid a case on Valentine’s Day, this one couldnt be avoided. It was one of those “this is so urgent I’ll brief you on the jet” cases. By the time the brief is over, the team all but collapse from exhaustion. The flight is a few hours, people can afford to have a nap. Spencer, though, is wide awake. You’re curled up in the seat beside him, the blanket you always bring on the jet is shielding the entirety of you, apart from your head, which is resting on Spencer’s shoulder as you sleep soundly. Not wasting another second, he takes your note from his pocket and unfolds it, his curiosity has been eating him alive for so long he feels like a skeleton.

I honestly dont even know where to begin with this. I have no idea who you are, but I hope. Because if it isnt who I hope it is, this cant go anywhere, I’ll have to let down anyone that isnt him. And it cant be him, can it? The impossible man, the genius with a heart of gold, the encyclopaedia of endlessly fascinating facts that I could listen to forever. I dont make a habit of putting people on pedestals, but him? How could I not? He’s an angel of a man. And as much as I dont think Im worthy of his affection, it would be an honour to be loved by him, and for that, I hope. I hope, because Spencer, if it isnt you, I wont know what to do. But hey, just in case it is, maybe I should keep this with me if you ever reveal yourself? Jeez, look at me, living on nothing but hopes. But for you? If hope’s all I’ve got, even that is a dream.

Spencer blinks away the tears in his eyes. Of all people, you only hoped for him. And the way you described him, you adore him in the same way he adores you. He looks down at your face, sleeping peacefully on his shoulder with a delicate smile. Without tearing his gaze from you, he folds the note back up and slides it in his pocket. Spencer smiles down at you, lifting his hand to ever so gently tuck some stray strands of hair behind your ear, before leaning down to place a kiss on your forehead.

Not so much a confession as a funny story. Everyone has their way that they found out they were aspec. Long journeys of self discovery and questioning, etc, it can be very difficult to figure out that youre supposed to be feeling something that you arent feeling. But my realisation happened a little differently.

Some of my friends are... odd, and sexual topics came up very often. While I found the things they were saying uncomfortable, it was always fun to share my thoughts on whatever the topics were because it confused them like, alot. It was always fun to see their reactions to the things I was saying.

Its worth noting I was well aware of what aroace was and it was all very clear. I found out around the time when Jaiden came out, and my immediate reaction was what the fuck, thats Awesome. Thats the best sexuality by far. But I had just never connected the dots. I never really did.

Then in one of these discussions with my friends, I think one of my responses waas a little... too far out there. I dont remember the conversation, but I think the response eliminated the idea of "oh hes just innocent and doesnt expose himself to sexual content" and it immediately clicked for one of my friends.

He turned, looked me directly in the eyes, pointed, and said

"ACE."

And I quietly sat there for a moment considering what he said and very quickly realised, hold the fuck up, that would explain alot.

One of those, uhh... "friends" still didn't really get it. He had referred to me as "celibate" in the past, and I didnt know what it meant at the time, but after some time thinking and going back to them and saying yeah, I think youre right I do think Im aroace, he said it again, "Nk youre not its not real youre just a celibate." And I still didnt know what it meant at that point otherwise I couldve easily explained why he was wrong, but hes just so sex obsessed he cannot imagine someone who isnt. And I wasnt worried about the fact he was just not accepting it because noone gives a shit about anything he says. He says all kinds of racist, homophobic etc shit and people immediately tell him to dhut the fuck up. Hes less "friend" and more "we cant get rid of him so we just tell him to shut the fuck up and tell him why hes wrong". This bit has lost the point a little bit, the main focus is that instead of spending a long time figuring out for myself, I literally got told, loud and clear, out of nowhere, the obvious answer.

Cal haha has been for sure following girls he has like 3 new girls on his following list 😂 it’s not breakup core to me there to old for that they’re both basically 30 . i feel like it wasnt really necessary to have bio kids be the lead of the anime especially if they were just going to rehash dynamics that already happened but het. based on the newest chapter, i have to say i wish they would stop hetconning things. naruto being hokage is whatever since im sure its what the audience was waiting for but in the manga they dont just have the older gen ninja just get trapped or killed, theyre off doing their own thing or dealing with subplots or whatever. i think the recent ninja storm game handles this way better than the manga and anime do. i think you can tell kishi isnt interested in this based on how lazy a lot of the storytelling choices are. he almost had something interesting going on with kawaki but then it just kinda went off the rails. so what would i change? i would just scrap the whole thing and approach it completely differently. im not even sure i would use kids given they had a real opportunity to make it more adult, kinda like the way atla transitioned into lok.

other pairings:

i pretty much hate the majority of ships ive come across, not gonna lie. i mean i dont judge anyone for coming up with them, thats their right but i just dont get the logic behind them. particularly certain ships like sasuhina would require both of us to be completely different people for it to work, but ultimately if people want to explore dynamics that way i dont care. if i look at certain ships as people are without their fundamental traits changing then...

narusaku - this is toxic because sakura doesnt respect naruto at all. she never will because shes always seen him as a nuisance. their relationship would be her "settling" for him given his newfound status as a hero and the fame and attention she would get from that, but behind closed doors she'd probably belittle him a lot. naruto would put up with it because he doesnt have a backbone /hj.

naruhina - i mean i think hinata's a nice enough person but they have no chemistry and she also just wants/needs things from naruto so its not healthy for him again. naruto should be with someone who can protect him, and who can fight for him (like me).

gaanaru - .........................begrudgingly gaara does fit the condition i mentioned above but i feel that politically they would be a bit at odds and gaara cant fully understand naruto. but yes as a consolation ship, this is probably one of the better ones.

this is where i say honestly, painfully, if you ask me, neji probably wouldve been best for naruto besides myself. he can understand naruto's worldview, he can protect naruto, he has a personality that complements naruto. the only thing is that neji still fundamentally sees hinata as a priority so i dont know how that would play out.

i cant comment on every single ship so i'll try and just go through ones i would fix and how, and then some "crackships" i have.

leesaku (or whatever you guys call it) - lee's probably the only one sakura disrespected and then ended up respecting. his personality is such that he deals with conflict extremely well and doesnt internalize things, so he would be able to respond to sakura's shallowness and pettiness. theyre both competitive. i feel that sakura would also learn from him how to take pride in achievements, failure, and growth and build her self-esteem properly. i dont like inosaku because regardless of Lesbian Rights or whatever, sakura has consistently treated ino like shit for no reason and its not even in a "um we're awkward way" its in a "ino risks her life for sakura because shes a good person and sakura curses her out" kind of thing. lesbians should be in healthy relationships.

tenkuro - theyre both meant to be experts in a certain field that complement each other. theyre both in the middle of two extreme personalities. kankuro is a bit less of a douchebag by the time he gets older. i wouldve paired this instead of shikatema if we had to have a crosscountry couple. shikatema is gross.

hinakiba - kiba's probably the only one who treated hinata with respect their entire lives and without wanting anything in return. like weirdly enough hes the only guy i can think of except maybe choji that didnt talk shit about a woman (whether it was deserved or not) so i feel like instantly that kind of makes him a good match for someone as meek as her. hes supportive without being passive and passionate without really being aggressive. i dont know what hinata does for him because i dont really know what hinata does for anyone, but i think kiba just wants A Woman so she fits the bill.

sasudeath - if i cant have naruto give me death.

inosai is probably the only ship i actually like because they compliment each other well. again i dont care about gay/straight whatever but if ino wants to date a hot guy, let her date one. she chose one that she gets along with easily, respects her (not just respects her but he loves her proudly), and tempers her personality well. theyre pretty cute in boruto. i would keep choji and karui only because cho cho is an angel.

As someone in a very similar boat cosplay wise I really understand where you are coming from. Its easy to want to not give a shit and try to just do what you want but that nagging feeling that you're just gonna get judged or compared to others and you can't do anything about it can really easily run your whole day.

But I wanna believe that if enough of us cosplay what we want within our own means and support each other it could be stronger than that. You only get one shot at each convention and regrets suck. Whatever you do I hope you have an excellent time.

YEAH 😭 i always wanna brush it off but especially since im Really New to conventions and havent really done any other big-attendance type outings before being around so many people and seeing all the technical skill and work on display can really make me feel like i shouldnt have even tried/ill just be made fun of for showing up in what ''looks like'' a ''cheap halloween costume'' even if i made it myself

i always try to like tell myself that the cosplay seen is just heavily dominated by people with years of experience and with the money/means/time to make these things because they do cons often/do it professionally, and when im really feeling like shit i usually go back and look at like, photos from conventions in the 90s/2000s back when cosplaying wasnt as heavily monetized/mainstream and just like. look at all the cosplayers in plastic wigs and off the rack clothes altered into video game clothing and remind myself that this is a hobby first and foremost and im not trying to win any awards or become a cosplay creator/influencer online, i just wanna dress up when i go to a con and maybe make someone happy. and when i see others in their homemade costumes or just in a wig or anything i myself even go omg how fun!!! and getting to see them have a fun time makes me happy and reminds me that this is what its meant to be about!! having fun!!!

i also try to remind myself of last year when i went in a pretty ''OKAY'' hythlodaeus cosplay with a lot of shortcuts due to money and it being my first time ever sewing an outfit (i only did toy sewing beforehand), i didnt consider it all that good, but when i went to the con a guy stopped me with a gasp and said ''oh my god, can i take your photo?", and after i struck a pose for him he told me I ''made his entire con experience'', so i just gotta remind myself that someone out there is going to love my costume whether they get brave enough to tell or not and that all that matters is im having FUN

we will rise up and win against the evil thoughts that we are not good enough and are cosplays are not good enough, because no matter what the best cosplay is always the one that we have the most fun in and it doesnt matter the amount of detail or effort put into it, its about the experiences we have while cosplaying and i just gotta remember that [throws my hands in the air]

wow, i read your alex's character analysis and i got some anon response to it. Disclaimer, i respect your opinion, just wanna share my thoughts, and also go off a total different tangent about how i see some scenes differently. Thank you for posting so much contents for dn, are you gonna do more of this with other characters?

now going back to the main point of this ask:

i think i know why i feel kinda tired about nightfall if i read it in your perspective: i feel like the way you read it is like you're emory before she met aydin, and i'm emory after she met aydin. The Feeling of dead and alive. Like in corrupt, michael said something: if you don't own it, it will own you, and i think the reason why emory doesnt mind much about anything anymore at that point of life and keep going forward despite the hurt and all that were caused by everyone around her, were because

1. She's so tired of waiting, she was trying to take more control of her life now, instead of just decaying, at least in the romantic and sexual aspect of her life,

2. she doesnt care about the specifics about who is hurting who anymore, because there's only so much to blame and expect from the things or people around her to fall into place like you / readers would expect them, but she can just do whatever things best she thought she could do at that time,

3. She wanted someone to guide her and be patient with her, which not even will was patient enough to learn how to love life with emmy, he only complained complained complained, and i hated how weak his character was, because he had everything, and she had nothing. All talk, but no action. Will was never patient with emmy, so i dont understand where did will's audacity was coming from? (This was a rhetorical question, no need to answer, i understood his pov, i was just voicing my thoughts when i read his words and actions). these charactrs (especially emory aydin will alex) were all very prideful people, so something has to give. They can't be like that forever, right? Something big has to happen to breakthrough these dramatic and extreme people. It's unfortunate it was aydin that we had to see emmy bonding with like this, or it was alex that she trusted and wanted to be in a sexual intimate situation with in fornt of everyone, instead of will and damon in the locker room, but it's just what it is, the timing wasnt right for emory will and dmaon + the horsemen were never really close to her either, so that train scene was more like how she was opening herself up and accepting their poly situation from there onwards. It wasn't just a show of trust, it's a show that her lifestyle was the same iwth them, and she wasn't ashamed of herself or them. That's why i guess it's easier for michael to help her later and talk a bit with her when they catch martin because her relationship now is beyond "just will's girl", but she is truly family. She accepted them, they accepted her. That's why rika had no doubt when she said "thank you for being my family". Emory might not have understood what that meant at that time, or even the readers, especially the ones who only read nightfall and not the books before, but rika expected emmy to show up from now on and fight for and with them like family just like how they would for her. (Side note, Unfortunately for us willemmy stans, even willemmy is poly-coded, we cannot get away from pd's sharing and poly dynamics' clutches). Do i think they look like clowns who take themselve sto seriously? Yes. But does emmy like this? Yes, 😭 unfortunately.

In this situation, as i read it (like emory) emory was the one owning them, and letting them join, not always the other way around. She is not being passive or expecting perfect detailed things from imperfect people to happen anymore, she can only deal with imperfect situations by owning who she is and go for it, even if it sounds stupidly unfair to us or she kept on hurting again (which is not true because we saw the moment she gave in, thinsg were chaning, sides were switched, and she got more allies instead of being isolated again). She was perfect for will and everyone when she just be herself and be what she wants or when she let herself be, instead of being someone she was not, even though it took her nearly a decade to admit (understandably because of her situation). By the time they got married, i believe that's why there were no resentment anymore from hee to the world or towards anyone really, for her part. A part of her that was hurting and self-destructive was finally growing up, and that where she wants to let herself be was still like a child in neverland. Unfortunate, by sigh what do you expect from a weak character/ love interest like will? That's why i like damon' line in the pool with kill switch when will threatened to hurt damon if he hurts winter, and damon replied "you dont have what it takes to be me" or something like that because as much a si hate damon, i agree. At leats damon worked for what he wanted despite how disgusting and cruel he was, will was only sitting on his high horse, coast through his life and expect things to fall into perfect place for him. And when it failed, he complaint complaint complaint. Like, will, how about you shut the fuck up sometimes?

4. since she felt like a dead leaf before aydin, always waiting, and never fighting for some of the things she wanted so much in life: like will (as opposed to her grandma's rights to heathcare and her own access career and education, that she fought for everyday, which was the opposite of banks. Banks fought for damon and kai, so she got damon and kai, but she was never as independent as emory or fought for her own things or demand education or other basic needs from anyone even though she grew similar to emory. She could even fought for these basic needs and beleive she didnt deserve to be happy to have them like emory, until emory apologized to will and resolved her (underdeserved) guilt, but banks never did. I was waiting for a breakthrough from banks like emory, but it never came. Even though emmy's wrap was hushed, it was there, but banks' never came.

We saw Emory had limits to what she can deal with, and while she would take a beating (only while she was still in the haze of abuse feeling like love, and when she still couldnt be fully financially independent from martin), emmy wouldnt let anyone take her basic rights to education, healthcare and safety away from her. These are things that i found very interesting about her, because if you ever have had to survive in the real world, even not to the extend of how emory had to, you'd know how hard it is to even do 10% the things she did without any support from anyone. Out of everyone in the series, emory scott will always get my utmost respect for this. Emmy had to be independent even though it was very scary, and had to lose so much if she chose these rights more than she chose will. This was why, even though i love nikova second from this series, i will always love emory more than her. It's just a personal preference tbh.

5. now, finally coming back to the main topic from my long tangent, Instead of letting things happen to her again and again and again, EMORY is happening to people. EMORY is taking the spotlight. And idk, i feel like a lot of your meta about alex in general gave too much expectation and unecessary light to alex, and it counter whatever things that emory was trying to do, if that makes sense? Idk, that's why i said we had very different way of looking at these scenes and prioritising which meaning we chose best how to see it, so it affects the way we saw them. Even after writing this long ask, i still agree with a lot of your points in your alex meta, but i guess i'm more delusional than i thought so even after reading your post, i still don't put too much emphasis on it. Probably not. As you mention later on, I feel PD sort of messed up in writing Alex, specifically in Nightfall.

Throughout the entire series, the readers are reminded that Alex is beautiful and special and different. She’s warm, everyone's sister and mother. She’s a sexy vixen, but with a heart of gold, who’s experienced the worst life can throw at her, but managed to walk through the fire – in heels! And everyone between Rika and Emory says they can’t resist her charms. So why is it that whenever she opens her mouth in Nightfall, I hate her more? What are the characters seeing that I’m not seeing?

This seems like a conflict between the writer and the character, so I wanted to analyze Alex’s character scene by scene, to determine exactly why it is that I’m so dissatisfied with her, when, based on what is written, I am supposed to love her. At the same time, I’ve been asked previously if I could change any storyline what would it be, or what could have made certain aspects of Nightfall better. While I was spending the time analyzing, I figured now would be a good time to add in what I would have preferred. In this scenario, I would prefer if Alex had a clear motive for showing herself to Emory and actually followed through. When I read the scene, focusing on her instead of Emory, I found that I was irritated with her being dodgy and secretive. It also felt like Alex didn’t really want Emory there when they went into the passageways. So, then, what was the point of revealing herself?

Anyway. I don’t have a reason to do it for the rest of the characters, because I don’t feel the same conflict with them as a reader.

Reading farther into your comment, I agree with just about everything you’ve said regarding Emory, or at least, I’ve heard those opinions/interpretations before and see them as completely valid! There’s not a lot for me to reply to because I’m mostly nodding and agreeing as I read. Still, I’ll try to pull out some bits that I find interesting.

It wasn't just a show of trust, it's a show that her lifestyle was the same iwth them, and she wasn't ashamed of herself or them. That's why i guess it's easier for michael to help her later and talk a bit with her when they catch martin because her relationship now is beyond "just will's girl", but she is truly family. She accepted them, they accepted her.

As far as Emory being accepted into the family, I’ve always felt that they were meant to be close. I was just frustrated that we never got to see it. I’ve also always thought that all the couples shared each other sexually, but I would love some more Willemmy moments because they’re my favorite and I thought some of the opportunity for them were given to less important scenes.

However, I was surprised to find out that the “sharing” began again so much later? According to PD, Michael, Rika, Kai, and Banks don’t engage in this activity until the ten-year later mark. I mean, what?

I think this is an excellent point. Many times, we’re reminded that Will doesn’t act on his own, and he likes it when Emmy is the aggressor and is forced to admit that she wants him too. Additionally, in Nightfall, he’s at the peak of his weakness, which causes him to be even more passive than usual. He also feels that he has a valid reason to hate her, so he's even more resistant to moving forward with her. Emmy did need to make the moves that drove the plot forward.

What I meant in my Alex post when I said they were at a standstill, was just that. I could see how, if Alex hadn’t come in, Emmy and Will would have continued to circle each other, making a little progress and then taking two steps back because they’re both too prideful and confused at the moment. Aydin would continue to pull their strings, never satisfied, because, as it would turn out, revenge isn’t actually what he wanted. And I know that, because throughout the entire series, revenge has never been what these guys truly wanted.

They wanted the girl.

Aydin wanted Alex. Making Will suffer was just his way of feeling better in the meantime. Even Aydin was surprised to see Alex at Blackchurch, so he wasn’t expecting her to come for Will. What was happening between Aydin and Emory was never about helping Emory, even if she did benefit from the things that he said and did. It was about making Will hurt.

Without Alex coming out of hiding, I think the story would have dragged. I just wish she was brought out of hiding with an actual plan/motive, instead of forced out by the author to move the plot along. That was my interpretation of the scene.

Banks fought for damon and kai, so she got damon and kai, but she was never as independent as emory

I thought this was interesting commentary on Banks. So often, Banks is herald as a queen of toughness and independence, especially since she inherited Gabriel’s fortune. I’m not saying she isn’t tough or independent, there’s something about how she’s never had to go out on her own; she never tried, even when Damon was in prison. She went from her mom’s to Gabriel’s under Damon’s care to Kai’s. And when Damon wasn’t there, Banks was still watched over and cared for by Gabriel’s staff.

I’m not going to try and compare Martin to Gabriel, but I can feel for Emory not having even a single person looking out for her, and I think it speaks volumes about Emory’s strength that she made it through so much.

I absolutely agree with this statement. Emory deserves all the recognition for what she managed to accomplish without support. As I’ve said before, Emory is the most accomplished, talented and skilled of all the girls, and she gets the least amount of acknowledgement for it. I will never be moved from that opinion.

I’m not quite sure what you mean.

As I mentioned earlier, my whole purpose with analyzing that scene the way I did was to figure out specifically why Alex was annoying me personally. It’s one thing to say she’s being annoying, but what is she actually doing that’s irritating. Characters can be irritating, and for reasons that make sense. Sometimes that's the case. In this situation, I don't think her actions make sense and not in a way that the character is just making decisions that are different from what I would want, but that... her presence in the scene doesn't make sense.

Emory in that scene is fine. She handles everything the way I’d expect someone in her situation to do, even if she is a lot more tolerant than I would be, and I wasn’t bothered by her at all – except for the moment she starts to talk about how wonderful Alex is because I’m so tired of being told how wonderful Alex is without understanding why Alex is so wonderful.

If this is one of the few things you’ve read from me, I can understand why you’d think that, but truthfully, I approach Nightfall with so much hope and positivity. I usually try to talk about the potential that is there; how much I love Thunder Bay, and the world, how the characters (in my idealistic and delulu world) could be a great example of a chosen family. There’s so much here to build on, and I find that it’s enjoyable and fun to joke about if people can get over how much they hate one or two aspects of it.

I'll circle back to Aydin, because I think there might be a misunderstanding about why I dislike Aydin, though I’ve touched on it a few times.

I fully understand that Emory needed guidance, and someone who cared about her and validated the decisions she made. Emory put herself first for once in her life, and she carried a lot of guilt for the consequences of it. She never wanted to hurt anyone. Aydin told her what she needed to hear to finally move on from that misplaced guilt, so that she can start to fight more for herself instead of just letting things happen around her.

The part that I get stuck on is that Aydin gets the credit for making Emory feel better. People celebrate him for validating her, and taking her side when Will "never did." Which I also don't understand what that means, but that's for another time.

The way I see it, nothing that happened between Aydin and Emory was because Aydin wanted to build Emory up. She was a pawn to him. As a review: Aydin had Emory drugged, kidnapped, and put on an island inhabited by criminals, because he wanted to hurt Will. Emory is forced into a terrible situation because of something Alex and Will have done, but nobody blames Aydin for thinking this was a way to deal with his jealousy.

Another thing that bothers me is how Aydin knew about Emory in the first place. Will wasn't being vocal about his feelings for Emory. As many people like to point out, he didn't call or reach out, or do anything to involve himself in her life. For five years, he spent his time drunk, high, and buried in women, most often Alex.

Nine years since he'd seen or spoken to Emory. Will's feelings for her would not be so obvious to people on the outside. At that point, there should have been only two things that connected them.

One was Will burning her gazebo. That could be written off as Devil's Night antics.

The other was the video of Will assaulting Martin. However, Martin and Will had issues outside of Emory, with the way Martin had constantly been pursuing him because he was the "stupid" one.

To even get to Emory being Will's weakness, someone would have to dig deep. Because of how deep they'd have to go, I am not convinced that Aydin wasn’t at least somewhat aware of Emory’s abuse. Even if there isn’t a record of it, Martin was obviously a dirty cop. Emory taking her college money to take care of her grandmother while she’s in school, and figuring that out on her own, never returning home or acknowledging Martin in any way, would be a clear indication that something wasn’t right with the Scott family. Aydin is intelligent, manipulative, and has experience with men like Martin. He’d know the signs.

Aydin used her history of abuse to manipulate her. Just because some of the things he said made her feel better, and she was able to improve her mental and emotional state, doesn’t erase what his motive was.

Emory benefited, and that’s great. But she only benefited, because of the way she looked at the situation – not because it was Aydin’s goal to help her. He wanted to get into her head and be her reasoning, so that he could hurt Will, because of Will’s relationship with Alex.

I won’t give him credit because Emory improved her condition. I put him on the same level as Alex and Will in the way they did Emory wrong. The reason I give Will any slack is that he apologized for what he did, and tried to make amends. Aydin and Alex never did; Emory gave them her acceptance because she's genuinely a kind person, despite everything that's been done to her.

But that’s my unpopular opinion for the day. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I really enjoyed the ask and hope you didn’t mind my rambling as well.

Also, damn, I really began to think more realistic about monsuno. Like, Hargrave was scared that Six would be mad and would attack him so he would likely to be dead. The fact that Hargrave probably did made Six call Klipse father not because he cared about Six but for his master's plan to succeed and so aldo he wont be beaten by Klipse by creating another failure or had to deal with it. Klipse +- cares about Six, but mostly unintentionaly talks to him as something more that a thing. Hargrave also was laughing evily when he saw Klipse's threat worked and Six ran away to call Chase in lynchpin episode. The fact that it wasnt Six plan, but he said that only to show Chase he's superior and papa's best son. Dom is just some local bdsm dude Klipse invited and so Hargrave hates him since butler thinks he and Klipse who are both so elegant and everything are superior and Dom and later Tallis are just dirt under their feet and some peasants. Hargrave hates his work, but surely enjoys Klipse and maybe even one other thing connects him to Six is the fact that kid is small Klipse. Fact that Klipse mostly is sane, especcially at work, but even later we can see that he goes mad when Core Tech coming and even it's not them, first he thinks are them, and he just was working peacefully. He going evil as show, when he doesnt have anyone watching him he's normal dude, but maybe gothic one(idk how his style called). So actually, that boy from bakugan, Backslash, he isnt Klipse/Hargrave kid, he's just Hargrave - arrogant, looking at everything like at dirt, have insects as Pet monsters, small, extremely smart, and brat. Hargrave is one, if we look at how he behaves with Core Tech when in winning position.

Yeah, the main Eklipse faction, while interesting, is 100% messed up.

Well, considering Six was just born, was poked in the face, and just took his first breathe which probably freaked him out since he just used his lungs, he probably was just freaking out and got violent with the first person he saw since he’s new to the world as might’ve been afraid of things. And the unfortunate person he got violent with just had to be Hargrave because Klipse might’ve not want to be the one to say he lost a child and had Hargrave do it because it’s easier to blame the butler and not the man who demanded a clone if Six didn’t survive his birth.

And if that’s true, no wonder Hargrave didn’t want to be close to Six at first. What better way to get the entire blame than to have the ‘long awaited’ clone to a.) die, b.) have the clone be disloyal or c.) have the clone be imperfect. No one wants to be blamed for something they didn’t do and considering that Six has live with them and is near Hargrave, Hargrave is doing everything he can to make sure anything Six does, he won’t be blamed for. Which is sad because Six didn’t mean get Hargrave blamed for his actions since everything Six does is because Klipse orders him as Hargrave only had to help create him and tell him who he is, so every mistake Six does should actually go to Klipse, not Hargrave.

Still, I think after Lynchpin, Hargrave finally got to bond with Six because they all saw that Six is trying his best, but like he’s going up against Chase and that itself is an uphill battle for someone like Six. Hargrave probably saw that even if he didn’t want to be near Six at first and saw glad if Six became enemies if it meant Hargrave was scotch free from getting blamed for Six’s actions, the fact that Six was extremely humiliated by Chase despite almost every part of the plan working made him realize that Six does need guidance and a mentor on how to deal with any lose from Chase. Like, come on, Chase and Core Tech humiliates Hargrave almost every time they have to fight, but they’re seasoned battlers by season two, Six is a baby who probably hasn’t had much mentoring and has no one to truly support him, Hargrave had to have pitied Six and wanted to train him and possibly dragged Dom with training Six.

Which is better than not having any support on Six’s case because for some reason, no matter how much Six gives his all, Klipse just doesn’t appreciate his son. Damn, were Hargrave and Dom the only reasons Six didn’t have depression from the start?

Also, there’s how Hargrave treats Dom and Tallis. He is annoyed with them, but like it’s kinda understandable since Dom is a walking red flag with a need to horrify his enemies and annoy his superiors on wanting more stuff from them. Still, I think he understands that Dom is an asset and is fine with him as long as Dom doesn’t ruin any plans because Dom truly is an asset and Dom seems to even mentor Six when Hargrave isn’t doing the mentoring. Yet, as for Tallis? Do you think Hargrave really wants a Charlemagne simper in the team? Like, Drezz and the Punk Monks are okay to have as along as they can behave around Hargrave, but Tallis legitimately got wrecked by Core Tech and lost his base because he thought Charlemagne wanted him when it was Bren trolling his ass. Hargrave is valid on not wanting Tallis on the team in season two because even if his intelligence is valuable to Klipse, if there’s just one Charlemagne prank and Tallis thinks it’s real, it’s all over for Eklipse and the Forge Resistance. The only reason he accepted Tallis in the team in season three was because everyone knew Charlemagne was in jail and Tallis had nothing else to do.

Also, Klipse was sane as he’s also part business man and a scientist who understands his situation, but Klipse’s development as the series progresses shows his descent into madness as despite his riches and brilliance, he is always facing humiliation by his enemies. And the fact that he brought Six down with him turns everything into a tragedy because Klipse was a the one who wanted Six to be the perfect clone, and Six, doing everything he can, just wants his ‘father’ to love and accept him as a son who will still make mistakes but can fix things only for Klipse to only see the enemies in his way and not the loyal clone he created.

As Backslash, he is a Hargrave type character. Even if Backslash is from Bakugan, he’s got Hargrave vibes, and don’t blame him for some losses, it’s just the first season and most of the show was on the Misfit Clan with the other clans having little character development for now.

imma try to be a lot more organized considering i originally made this post running on adrenaline. anyway, have fun reading the rest of this and uuhhh dont be scared to ask me stuff about anything related to this :thumbs up:

so a little recap of all the symptoms macaque is shown to have; - wukongs was/is his fp - abandonment issues - rejection and/or losses of relationships take a big toll on him emotionally - has a hard time letting things go - has a shrouded sense of identity - self sabotages (pushes people away and/or keeps them at arms length) - misplaced anger

the biggest thing is still obviously the fact that macaques fp is wukong. he followed after wukong and really only tolerated the other brotherhood for wukong, presumably. he didnt belong there, it was evident, but he never paid much mind to the others, always having his eyes on wukong. they were harmonious with each other and were made for each other, them fighting alongside each other. mac was dependent on wukong, becoming grumpy and tense whenever wukong wasnt around. he was promised a forever with wukong and he was very clearly looking forward to that considering his whole anger driving force is being abandoned and forgotten.

"Relax bud! When this is all over we'll be back here basking in the sun, getting fat on fruit for the rest of...well, forever! Like we always wanted..." "Whatever you say, Wukong."

the falling out hurts him so badly because wukong essentially promised everything to him...they were meant to be together forever, just basking in each others presence with nothing to worry about but what fruits to eat and where the best place to nap is. macaque initially didnt even WANT to fight against heaven, worried that wukong would leave and then never return again so obviously when heaven inevitably captures wukong, macaque sees that as a betrayal. he sees that as his biggest worry actually coming true and in order to deal with that abandonment and betrayal, his brain immediately goes to splitting on wukong. he immediately goes to blame wukong about what happened because his brain fills in the missing pieces of information he cant otherwise get.

i think this scene is also important to take note of because macaque's suggesting they wait and look for better options that didnt involve fighting wukong. he wanted them to hear wukongs side, maybe even try to bring him back peacefully. he doesnt want to believe wukong left them willingly, you can tell he knows somethings up.

"Wukong is a traitor! He'll end us first chance he gets!"

"Yes... The stone monkey is unpredictable... Now he's thrown his lot in with the Celestial Host, there is no telling where his true allegiences lie."

i definitely think the other brothers (namely yellowtusk and peng) had a hand in macaque's splitting of wukong. they were the ones who were quick to think wukong left while macaque wanted to believe he'd come back. he wanted to believe that whatever the others were saying wasnt true. up until he actually saw what happened.

if azure saw wukong kneel then its safe to assume so did macaque and the others. they see how powerless wukong looks, but noone takes into consideration how wukong didnt want to be in that position. he didnt mean to be taken away, he just had no other choice.

macaque was too shrouded by the initial hurt of wukong leaving that he doesnt take into account of the circlet and how wukong may have felt. his black and white thinking starts to get the better of him and this is where his initial splitting and fixation of the event begins.

he doesnt know what the circlet does, he doesnt know anything about heaven other than the things wukong told him and the other brothers so naturally hes going to see the circlet as something meant to be treasured. a gift of immeasurable power that made wukong turn his back on macaque.

he doesnt care that wukong killed him (at least not as much as the fandom seems to think he does, despite the fact that he has flashbacks from it but i think those are ptsd flashbacks and not really all that related to his bpd) he cares more about the fact that wukong essentially left him to rot in the darkness and then seemingly moved on from him as if they were never inseperable to begin with.

and i think, maybe possibly, the wukong shown in that scene is actually macaque... we see it from azures pov and it shows wukong the way he usually looks in flashbacks that have information being shrouded, (the golden pupilless eyes, the tense expression, etc). its uncharacteristic of him and i think this was macaque. now why is this relevant you might ask, well ! it plays into macaques sabotaging and screwed self image. it further reinforces the whole "macaque is nothing but wukongs shadow" ideology that macaque pushes.

he decides that after the betrayal of wukong, he has a new role to play. he wants to get wukong back, wants to gain something from doing this, and if the only way to prove that wukong is too good to be with the pilgrims then he'll do it like that. you could also see it as a sort of outburst caused by his jealousy.

hes jealous that wukong moved on and made new friends. jealous that wukong presumably forgot all about him and replaced him with essential strangers. he goes out of his way to make things worse for wukong but pretending to be him and his pilgrims, to spread a worse image of him. or at least, thats what i think.

and i think thats why hes jealous of mk, or rather mks relationship with wukong. its why he spends all of season 3 trying to tell mk and his group how "awful" wukong is the people who are close to him because macaque sees wukong's capture as one big fuck you to him and their relationship. macaque sees how much wukong cares for mk and immediately latches onto that rage and anger to try and ruin that relationship, something i also tend to do in really bad jealousy spells because of my bpd.

the last two episodes show that after their initial hullabaloo, macaque is changing. hes growing as a person and hes now gonna try and move past his initial obsession with wukong. he starts by trying to help mk almost immediately after seeing him glitching out.

he tries to cheer mk up, making a joke like "Nice tail, that's new". he does genuinely care about mk, the first person hes grown attached to since his falling out with wukong. while yeah, he does still hang around ffm and he still plays up the mentor role because of wukong but i think hes learning to separate what he does. hes learning how to make his own decisions and be his own person.

hell, he made a whole game entirely for this point !!! not only did mk need to hear it but so did macaque, and he acknowledges (FINALLY !!) how he let himself get shrouded and become nothing but a husk of someone that couldve been something more.

"Point is, it's time to start making your own choices. Something I wish I learned a lot sooner than I did..."

HE WAS SAYING THAT FOR HIMSELF !!!! HE WAS SAYING THAT FOR HIMSELF !!!! and i think now after this, macaque will actually start to be his own person. he'll actually start to decide to be something more than just wukongs shadow, or wukongs warrior, or wukongs moon. hes MORE than that and this proves that hes finally starting to break away from that unhealthy fp bond he had with wukong.

Why I think Macaque is extremely BPD coded

Note: This is a breakdown of why I believe Macaque has BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) and how that shows in his actions and affects how he treats others. I will try my best to properly explain each symptom and how the show writes it into Macaque’s character as a whole. (This will be set up by symptoms and won’t reflect all episodes Macaque appears in, only putting emphasis on season 1 episode 9 and season 2 episode 7 in particular.)

Note: I am a Borderline and this will have some personal experiences reflected in how I deal with my disorder so. With that, let’s begin !!

Favorite Person

This isn’t necessarily a symptom as not every borderline has an fp but it is noted to be an important enough occurrence for it to be a staple of being borderline.

A favorite person is someone incredibly important in a borderline’s life that becomes their constant source of happiness and validation. It’s someone who the borderline goes to for the majority of their attention and heavily relies on that other person to the point where it damages their relationship.

Now you’re probably wondering, ‘What does this have to do with Macaque?’, well I am a firm believer that Wukong was (and still is) Macaque’s favorite person. He is very clearly co-dependent on Wukong and probably has been for centuries. He actively seeks out some sort of response from Wukong as a way to gain his attention. Going as far as messing with the next closest person to the ginger, his successor.

Macaque torments and mocks Wukong constantly because he thrives on negative attention. He may not fully register that it’s negative because it’s attention nonetheless, and it wouldn’t matter if it was positive or not because it has the same effect. With this in mind, you could see him changing the logo on Mk’s jacket as a statement meant to mock Wukong. (Because we know and have seen Macaque be a lot more sneaky with his attacks, he could have easily hidden it but he chose to keep it in the open and the logo even laughs at Wukong.)

He sees Wukong as a hero, someone who is loved widely by others, and this comparison goes hand in hand with Macaque calling him the sun. Something bright that shines upon everything and everyone around them. Mac says these things very bitterly though, despite showing us that he once saw the two as equals.

Because of this, it might be a bit debatable whether Macaque truly hates Wukong or not. Borderlines suffer from extreme emotional dysregulation and tend to amplify their emotions (will elaborate on this further down) so Macaque’s hatred could stem entirely from this dysregulation. But he uses these comparisons as a way to express his emotions without downright saying them, considering it’s safe to assume he sucks at putting his emotions into words. It makes him angry when Wukong doesn’t go all out when they fight, mocking him and lashing out in his anger. To the point where it becomes obsessive, and it’s causing him to spiral into these feelings of anger constantly. (Especially since he’s quick to resolve every problem with a fight)

“C’mon! Show me the real Sun Wukong! The old you would have leveled this whole mountain range to stop me, but now you’re afraid of hurting some kid? Pathetic!”

With the heavy reliance borderlines have on their fps, strong instances of jealousy are bound to sprout up and Macaque is a prime example of how that jealousy can affect someone’s actions towards those around them. When he’s introduced, he’s given this light carefree attitude seemingly to make him feel more approachable, at least from Mk’s perspective. When Mk asks him to teach that move he had done to hit the smoke monster, Macaque is quick to say a very backhanded thing that is very obviously meant to be a jab at Mk’s confidence. Both in himself and in Wukong’s teaching. (This could stem from Macaque’s jealousy of Mk, that this kid is who Wukong cares for so deeply and is able to stay on his good side. Unlike Macaque.) 

“[...]...I’m sure Monkey king would agree. It’s not like he would want to hold you back.”

This jealousy leads to him projecting his insecurities onto Mk and causes him to have this warped impression of the kid before even meeting him. Macaque constantly mentions how alike Mk is to Wukong, in ways that only Macaque seems to notice. They’re all negative traits that Macaque amplifies or may have completely fabricated, calling him selfish and implying that Mk is going to eventually forget about his friends simply because he’s a hero, just as Wukong did. (It could also be part of the reason why Macaque’s steady target has been Mk). He even goes as far as to try and tell Mk he missed the point of his shadow play, causing Mk genuine confusion because he doesn’t believe he’s anything like how Macaque portrays Wukong. “Other people are going to tell you to be patient, they are slowing you down.”

Now, this can be reaching or something entirely different but you could see Macaque’s bitterness towards Wukong and his insistence that he’s a bad teacher slightly stemming from jealousy as well. We know Wukong isn’t actually a bad teacher, or at least not as bad as Macaque seems to emphasize, but he’s been so bitter that he’s convinced himself that Wukong is much worse than he actually is. And because of this, he tries pushing this mindset onto Mk so he doubts Wukong and leaves him, much like Wukong did to Macaque.

The most obvious thing that actually stood out to me first and was the reason I thought Mac had BPD in the first place was how incredibly personally he took the falling out. He reacted so violently to it that it’s permanently stuck on his mind at all times. The emotions from that moment are so amplified that Macaque is unable to move on, latching onto the events like a lifeline because it’s all he knows. He had dedicated the majority of his new life to getting revenge on Wukong for this falling out because he blames all of it entirely on the latter. There’s a headcanon that LBD may have altered his memories of that event to make him further hate Wukong but I don’t entirely believe that’s true. It’s possible LBD probably did have a little tweaking in his memories but I don’t think she altered anything related to Macaque’s feelings about Wukong because he already did that himself. Macaque sees that day as the day Wukong left him, abandoned him for a surge of power, and planted the idea in his own head that Wukong was being selfish. That Wukong must have left because Mac wasn’t useful anymore and therefore he must not have cared all that much, which makes Macaque an unreliable narrator and he’s shown to be manipulative and choosy with how he phrases things. He sees Wukong as a backstabber who was quick to leave as soon as he became that hero that Macaque equates to being close to Heaven. (see pedestal screenshot)

Macaque let himself become so overwhelmed by that abandonment that he firmly believes Wukong didn’t and probably never cared about him to the same degree that Macaque cared. (Even though it is implied that Wukong did care, the two being inseparable and doing everything together. The two even were equals at some point.) And as much as Macaque makes himself want to hate Wukong, he can’t truly do it because he’s still codependent on the other. He still seeks out Wukong’s attention and still aims to mock him, continuously bringing him up when he speaks with the other members of Mk’s group. He sees himself as someone who was ‘too close’ to Wukong and suffered the consequences of that, despite many of the consequences being forced on him by himself. (All this could be why he is so adamant about telling everyone how much he thinks Wukong sucks. He firmly believes Wukong was entirely in the wrong and he had nothing to do with it and jumps at the opportunity to play the victim card. Even if it means leaving out details that might paint it the other way.)

“What would you like to hear? The hero suddenly remembered his beloved friend the warrior? That they lived happily ever after?”

It's obvious that Macaque still cares so deeply for Wukong to the point where it could even be implied that he wants a happy ending. He wishes for that happy ending, to be able to say Wukong did remember him and did come back. Him constantly talking about this falling out and painting himself as the victim could be his way of saying he wishes it ended differently, could be his way of trying to raise a jumpstart in Wukong. It could be a way for him to try and see if maybe something else will come out of this, that doing the same thing over and over might cause a change of outcome. (Obviously, it doesn’t work because nobody knows what he’s thinking, ever.)

Intense fear of abandonment

This symptom is one that I think Macaque struggles with the most. He does not handle rejection that well and will do anything to avoid it, much like how he’ll do anything to avoid abandonment. He saw Wukong reject him and leave him and decided that he’ll never leave Wukong alone, that he will continue to show up because he will always be Wukong’s shadow. He saw Wukong leaving continuously as an attack on him as a person, immediately internalizing it and believing he was the problem. He makes sure to keep Wukong as close as an arm’s distance so that if Wukong does choose to leave again, Macaque won’t be as hurt by it as he was the first time. It causes him to dwell on the past, not being able to stop. He keeps reliving what happened because he truly believes he needs to accomplish some sort of justice against Wukong for what happened. 

Alternatively, Macaque also will do anything to prevent new people from getting too close. When he notices that Mk is starting to grow on him, he starts to withdraw, amplifying his attempts at showing the kid he isn’t worth it. He becomes more and more aggressive throughout season 3, partly because of his rush to get out of lbd’s control but also because he’s slowly beginning to warm up to Mk’s group. (With the way his first initial idea was to try and convince Mk to come with him willingly and when he had done the same thing with Tang.)

He schemes and manipulates the people around him because its in his nature but also to keep their predetermined impression of him stay bad. Macaque hates relying on people, much rather staying and working alone than with others because of the disappointment it usually leads to. He doesn’t know how to properly open up anymore for fear of that other person leaving too.

Unstable relationships

As I’ve mentioned before Macaque’s relationship with Wukong was incredibly unstable. He valued Wukong much more than he valued himself, put Wukong on a pedestal, and idolized him, making him unreachable. But this could also be applied to Macaque’s relationship with Mk.

Macaque trains Mk, genuinely it seems and uses that opportunity to plant things into the kid’s head. Everything goes well before Macaque ultimately betrays him to go against Wukong, that being his ulterior motive the entire time. He continuously goes after Mk, causing the kid distress one after the other all in an attempt to get back at Wukong. Despite this all, Mk’s still willing to give him another chance in season 3 and Macaque doesn’t know how to handle that. (It is shown, or implied at least in season 3, that Macaque ends up showing legitimate care for Mk. He acknowledges that Mk is a good kid on two separate occasions, telling him that he’s happy there’s still “room for potential”.) He just prefers to keep Mk at a distance, despite the fact he seems to wear the title of Mk’s other mentor with pride.

Changes in self-identity and image

“A very, very powerful demon…”

“Since then you’ve had me teaching you! You’re stronger now!”

We all know this man has a ton of confidence, enough that he actively strokes his own ego every time he opens his mouth. His debut shows us how he sees himself as this strong ancient demon (even if he was referring to himself in the third person.) and he sees Mk as ‘stronger’ because he had Macaque teaching him.

Though in the same vein, he also understands that he isn’t as strong as he likes to brag he is. He still needed Wukong’s power to amplify himself before fighting him, again, (and even lbd acknowledges he needed aid and gives him some of her power after so many failed attempts). Macaque is power hungry and thrives on the taste of being powerful, on the thrill that comes from it, but his body can’t handle that power nor does he actually know how to use any of it. It’s part of why he relies more on his shadows and their sneakiness than he does entirely on his power. He’s an illusionist through and through and nothing more, but he keeps pushing himself for more power because he thinks he can handle it. He genuinely believes he can come out of these fights unscathed and winning and that could be the reason why he continues to go after Wukong.

“As the hero’s light grew, so too did his shadow. And soon the warrior was cast in that shadow. In the darkness, the warrior was forgotten by the hero.”

This comparison he has of himself as the moon shows just how alone he truly sees himself. The moon is something that is depicted as being reliant on the sun to shine despite it being alone and far from the sun’s reach. There’s solace in the way the moon rotates around the earth and stays in its own orbit, keeping itself confined to its single path. Sometimes the moon seeks out the sun’s warmth and they do finally come together, they make an eclipse. But the moon is always the one reaching after the sun and Macaque sees himself as constantly in Wukong’s shadow. He sees himself as someone who reached for Wukong and failed, being left behind in the other’s shadow where he truly belongs. He sees Wukong leaving as him losing his purpose, that he couldn’t keep up anymore and now wasn’t someone Wukong could see as an equal.

Macaque sees himself as a warrior, someone who’s a soldier fighting for themself and their own beliefs. He doesn’t think he’s ever capable of being a hero, or ever changing for the better because he pushed himself into this villain role. He’s accepted that he will always be someone’s villain and so he has never actively tried to change (at least not until Mk pushes him to). Even though he actively acknowledges he has things he should talk about, blatantly telling Mk to his face that if he ever did try talking things out they would be there all day. It’s this black and white thinking that keeps him from being better, that keeps him in this endless cycle of manipulation and gaslighting and hurting that he doesn’t ever try to break because he doesn’t see there being a point. He’d rather do anything and everything to get what he wants because just the thought of him doing something right or something different like working with people and helping them makes him scoff.

With how Macaque carries himself and how he seemingly just throws his life around, lbd’s revival of him probably left him with this constant detachment from reality. He constantly feels empty and incorporeal (which could also be from the fact he is. shadows.) He’s scared of death, the idea of merely going back to being non-existent and in chains causes him such full-body stress especially if it’s brought on forcefully by someone’s hands. He’s paranoid, constantly on edge (specifically throughout season 3) because Lbd has his life dangling in front of him and he’s desperate to take it back. Her whispers and chains poke and prob him, keeping him on high alert so much that it becomes a driving force for him to impulsively choose to stop following her orders. Anything to get rid of her.

Inappropriate intense anger

He is repeatedly shown to lose his temper, lashing out at pretty much everyone no matter what they do. He weaponizes Mk’s insecurities against him in anger, threatens his friends to get them to do what he wants, and pushes people into a corner. He’s quick to anger and irritate, especially if he feels he’s starting to lose control over a situation. (Because he is very much a control freak, constantly needing to keep things around him in his control so he can manipulate tier outcomes how he likes.)

All of his anger seems to be misplaced as well. He was so quick to throw all the blame for the falling out on Wukong but never took the time to think about how he could have been wrong too, considering relationships are two-sided. He let this anger fester and alter his once positive view of Wukong and now he just can’t fix it. Macaque’s angrier at the way Wukong left him, feeling more betrayed about that than at the fact that Wukong killed him.

His anger towards Mk is shrouded in insecurities and doubts about himself and Wukong and he feels wronged somehow seeing how much Wukong cares for Mk. Macaque actively tries forcing his mindset onto Mk, trying to worm his way into making the kid see Wukong differently by using his insecurities and doubts against him. He compares Mk to this fabricated impression he has of Wukong and tries to mold Mk into someone he knows Wukong wouldn’t want.

Macaque’s flashback that he gets briefly as Mk lunges toward him shows just how much he hangs onto the past. How much he hangs onto the emotions from that event and how he projects it onto Mk, seeing Wukong in Mk’s place briefly. It’s that same amplified POV that we hear Macaque talk about and Shadow Play shows just how much it shrouds his impression of Mk. Because truthfully, he doesn’t know much about the kid other than the insecurities Mk rambled out to him and that he’s Wukong’s successor. Macaque filled in the remaining gaps with things he took from his initial impression of Wukong and just assumed the two were the same with how close they are. He has no idea where to put all these emotions so he dumps them onto the laps of others to deal with, or to become the targets of.

Final thoughts

Overall, I think Macaque is the biggest bpd-coded character in all of lmk, it’s just right there. In all our faces. He’s an incredibly emotion-driven person, doing things based on how they make him feel rather than if it’s logical. He’s so shrouded in black and white thinking and in his splitting of Wukong that it keeps just a tight grip on his life and he really does need to go to therapy. He needs to learn to move on and actively be better because if this cycle isn’t broken soon he’ll just continue to hurt not only himself but the people around him. Whether he wants to or not.

I HOPE THIS MAKES SENSE I tried really hard to articulate my thoughts and such but I might have repeated some things here and there. I also am a firm believer that Shadow Play is actively just one big bpd episode. Like I wholeheartedly believe that whole episode was Macaque having an episode and in the midst of it, he decides to mess with Mk, only to stop halfway through because he snaps out of it and realizes that Mk is being hard on himself enough. He willingly brings back up bad memories through a retelling just to achieve some sort of I told you so moment with Mk only for it to backfire on him and just make him feel worse. (while also attracting the attention of lbd)

I think it’s such an important episode to Macaque’s character and what comes of him, especially since it opens the gates to why he decides to do the things he does in season 3. It has so many details in it that show just how unreliable Macaque can be as a narrator, especially when he’s having moments like that. It shows how he’s the selfish one, not Wukong, and how he let something like this mold him into something so unrecognizable from his past self. All because he was filled with rage and betrayal. It’s easier to fight and hate each other than it is for Macaque to apologize for whatever he may have done and amend. It’s easier being the villain to everyone and being hated rather than owning up to your mistakes and trying to be better. He finds comfort in his black and white thinking, finds comfort in how the others hate him, and actively avoids fighting him.

THE PARALLELS !!! It’s a moment where things finally actively dawn on Wukong and he’s suddenly in Macaque’s place, their roles reversed. Macaque being the one who has the upper hand, finding that “power beyond comprehension” and leaving Wukong behind. In reference to their relationship, it could be seen as the moment Macaque finally gets Wukong to understand how he felt when the latter left, how he felt being left behind. He finally makes Wukong feel how he felt, that same desperation at watching the other’s back being turned. But Macaque’s is tainted, being forced onto him, and is actively eating away at his body. It’s reflectively of how Macaque remembers it but it isn’t the exact same.

About the jurassic park movies, i dont mind about the dinosaurs. It was pretty cool cgi n robot stuff. The real reason i dont like the chris pratt's latest jurassic park and the one before it is the story wise.. the one before the latest one, i think it has stupid n bad ending. I meant the little girl push the button to let out the dinos out to human's world just because of sentimental feelings type of crap n risk people's lives all over the world.

Aaand the latest one, kinda show the aftermath of the stupid decission but i think doesnt really show the solutions of it, dinosaurs still roaming around n human r forced to co-inhabitate the earth. N the trailer kinda misleading as if the aftermath n might be resolved but in the movie they r more focus about something else, which are mutated giant freaking grasshoper. will byers has canonically been in love with mike wheeler since before the series started. he probably took a little bit to fully realize that but he at the very least understood that mike meant an insane amount to him. and that makes me simultaneously so happy and so sad looking back bc like

think about when mike rested his head on wills chest to hear his heartbeat when he saw him in the hospital and hugged him. think about when he gave mike all those drawings that mike carefully put into a binder to keep. think about when he found out about the lengths mike went to to find him when he was stuck in the upside down. think about when he grabbed will when he was having the “now memories” on halloween and told everyone to keep moving and said he was taking him home and bringing him to his basement. think about “crazy together.” think about him waking up and seeing mike in the chair next to him in the hospital immediately jumping up when he saw he was awake to make sure he wasnt in any pain with the biggest puppy dog eyes i have ever seen. think about him listening to mike say that becoming his friend is the best decision he ever made. think about mikes smile when will said he would never join a party without his best friends. when mike told him hawkins wasnt the same without him and he missed him. will was canonically in love with him in all of those moments.

but also think about when mike brought up el(who he knew mike liked) out of nowhere when will tried to express how upset he was with the “now memories” and how no one got how he felt. when mike ignored him and the rest of the party all summer for el. think about “its not my fault you dont like girls.” think about how that led to him destroying castle byer and ripping up those pictures(and swearing for the first time in the series, both representing that his childhood and the innocence he had really was done for after it was ripped away and absolutely crushed.) think about the rejected hug at the airport and the immediate jump back to el. think about “that’s because shes my girlfriend!” “and us?” “we’re friends. WE’RE FRIENDS.” think about literally just the whole car scene. think about how he told el right in front of him that “his life started” the day will was announced missing. will was also in love with him in those.

and what really gets me is that even after that and how in love he is with mike, he still does anything he can to make sure that el and mike are happy together because he thinks that thats what they both want and he wants the best for his sister and his best friend, no matter how much it hurts him because hes a selfless person and that just genuinely kills me because he could be petty. he could so easily mess things up for the two of them he could so easily do so much damage and i would more than understand after how much hes dealt with. but he doesnt because hes a selfless person that would give anything to see his loved ones happy. hes not a homewrecker, hes the only thing keeping that goddamn home together. and just oh my god he means so much to me will byers you will always be famous.
