On todays episode of "being way too obsessed with videogames no one’s ever heard about“:
Buying the Wii U version of a game I already own from another country because it came with the Wii version that apparently plays differently just the see the endboss because the different control sceme on the 3DS is screwing with gameplay
The box is cool tho
Didn’t know they could do that. Also the cover is reversible and has the Wii cover on the other side! It looks very cool
#toastshark rambles#this post is mostly to show off the box. I think the box is neat#ingame journal entry 0#technically#i think that was the one for this game#if I remember correctly#if the wii version ends up different enough to count as its own thing#does that make this entry 0.5…?#or -0?#because it’s technically the same game and -0 = + 0#hmm#<- do tags even get filtered when it’s on a specific blog#or did I spam y’all‘s dashboards full because I only thought they’d completely vanish#hmmm…

STARTERS [ SIMON 'GHOST' RILEY ]
cw: none, strangers to lovers, first meeting, not beta read, might be military inaccuracies because im not in the military, medic! fem!reader. notes: i've worked so hard [exaggeration] to make this look cute but ik its gonna devolve in 0.5 seconds. this is part one of a series. words: 1,065.
"This won't be easy."
A fair warning, a meager one too, from your new, technically, superior, Kate Laswell. You had accepted her offer as a combat medic, seeing as their next mission was supposed to take months. But those months weren't even this year, they were the next.
This year, it was your mission to become familiar with your crew, have a starter and a taste.
Considering you've dealt with plenty of irritable, ill-mannered patients in the E.D. before, it shouldn't feel so stuffy when you enter the base. You I.D. card was scanned, and you were permitted entry past the intimidating security guard who's eyes nailed you like you were his prey. You might've been.
Heels clacking, you rushed to your new office,
MEDICAL WING
A sign read, in red, right above your head. You wanted to feel like you were walking into a new life, but the stares and exhausted attempts at a smile the veteran nurses tossed you made a breath you didn't realize you were holding leave.
Luckily, offices were assigned, and yours was on the first floor.
Empty and quite sad, you tossed your backpack and purse onto your desk, which didn't even have a chair, and put your hands on your hips. Laswell had told you that they wouldn't be back until evening, it was morning.
It felt like walking into your first job, gingerly taking your steps to the staff lounge where you introduced yourself to the nurses who were lounging. They returned the gesture graciously, luckily understanding of your nerves.
Soon enough, your actual superior came to greet you, smiling and laughing with the rest of the staff as she raved about you. As soon as basic information was given, you were tossed out of your nest, bidding you a good flight. The ED never waits for anyone after all.
⚬
As your first day ended and your night began, you sat in your office, which you finally got a chair for, to sift through paperwork. Boring things never really last for long, and as much as you'd like to one-go your work, it definitely wasn't happening. Especially when your sweet nurses and the other doctors bombarded into your office, playfully asking, more like dragging, you to come with them to the mess hall.
It's impolite to say no, isn't it?
It was fun. It was like being in high school again, smiling and giggling before everyone leans into to whisper, bursting back out into laughter. Oh, and it was juicy. Real juicy, juicier when they mentioned him.
"Ghost?"
You ask, tilting your head as you raise a brow, "What kinda' callsign's that?" There was a strange inkling of familiarity of the name, just right under your nose. The nurse who was telling the story went wide-eyed, grinning at you,
"Oh, honey, he's the one with the skull mask."
The mask. The fucking mask.
Everyone could see it, how you face paled like snow, your head dropping as you gawked at them. They all laughed at your reaction, it was quite comical, though they found it funnier for reasons different than yours, teasing, "I haven't even said the story yet!"
Well, Laswell did. God, were you stupid? He was from Task Force 141! They all, allegedly, saw him in the gym, allegedly lifting double his weight, and allegedly you were blushing at the idea of the number, allegedly. And that was essentially the whole story. The nurse beside you poked as he cooed at you,
"Aw, does the doctor have a crush on her first day?" Laughing as you smacked his arm playfully, a stupid grin on all of your faces. The conversation moves on, talking about the soldiers that got into a fight, and how funny it was when one got a rhinoplasty. It felt like you were half-present, like a fever dream as your thoughts swirled together. Maybe your shift was a little too long.
But you couldn't stop thinking about him, your fork spinning the lukewarm pasta as you blandly laughed with your caffeine-high colleagues. Was he really that fascinating?
You couldn't stop thinking about him, your fork spinning the lukewarm pasta as you blandly laughed with your caffeine-high colleagues. Was he really that fascinating? Your mind ran with every though, you hadn’t even seen him today, and yet here you were imagining him, strong, tall, muscular. And of high status? he sure seemed like the pear most imaginative women would like.
But you can't expect him to be a perfect romance lead, especially the more you listened, seeing as he was quite the topic.
Everyone else seemed to just know him, know him in the sense that he was a figure of admiration. The strongest, the fastest, the most intricate, coolest man on one of the greatest task forces affiliated. They knew every little intricate detail of his service. But you didn’t. You don’t even know what they mean by a ‘skull mask’, was it a full skul? does he do face paint like a 3-year-old? You've never seen him, not that you were reluctant to the chance to.
Maybe you were insane, especially since there was the entire rest of the task force for you to get familiar with too. Well, he was one of them so you should go one by one, right—
"Ya' like to talk, dinnea ya?"
You twitched at the voice, "Scottish," You thought to yourself, "John 'Soap' MacTacvish." Laswell had some comments about him, mostly about his inability to speak understandable English, and his refusal to get a military standard haircut, aka he has a mohawk. But it wasn't just the Scot, the devil answered when his name was called.
Simon 'Ghost' Riley.
It was almost as if he knew who you were the moment your eyes met, like a fuse set off between you. Brown eyes, deep like dark chocolate, and cold like the tundra, and more magnetic than any other man you've ever seen, he stared at you, speaking to his friend,
"Seems like they do, Johnny."
Gravelly and low, almost inaudible if it weren't for your fixated ear, his voice whispered to Soap, his eyes never leaving yours. Soap, or Johnny as Ghost had so endearingly called him, grinned, plopping beside you,
"Aye, yer that new medic Laswell's been talkin' 'bout?"
You blink a couple times before you smile, nodding as you introduce yourself. Soap smiles back, polite yet inked with a bit of his eccentric personality, taking your hand into a firm shake. You smile up at the masked figure,
"You must be Ghost, right?"
He gave a bland grunt, not that you expected much more from a quiet man. Soap grinned, ignoring Ghosts lack of proper manners to introduce himself. With small conversation, they left, almost.
Although he walked away, he never left your mind, and you never left his.

I love you for giving us that flashback to the moment Snape stole Lily's diary. You have such a talent, because stealing the diary was a truly rotten, odious thing for Snape to do, but you manage to articulate Snape's bitterness and jealousy and hurt so well that it makes sense that for a moment he would be spiteful enough to swish his wand, while still imagining he's a good friend. I particularly love that this was part of the plot, because it illustrates that the dissolution of Lily and Snape's friendship was so much deeper than that one "worst memory." His possessiveness and jealousy and need to prove James is horrible (at Lily's expense) was always going to corrode, whether or not Snape called her a slur in front of everyone.
Also A+ 13yo girl diary entries.
That hazing/initiation ritual was WILD. I'm enthralled. And terrified for what is going to go down at Hogsmeade.
In sum : it's your world, we're all just living in (and for) it.
Ahhhh, thank you ❤️
I’ve been looking forward to getting to that flashback scene ever since I first shared the Christmas chapters with the reveal of what Severus did. I thought it was important to show that memory not just from Snape’s POV but from the POV of the child who experienced it, because while of course what he did was a horrible, potentially-friendship-ending thing, it was driven by a very real and powerful hurt — a hurt that I don’t think adult Snape ever really healed from. Snape does a lot of awful things, both in canon and in this story, but I want to whenever I can extend some empathy to the child he once was, because that is a child who was failed by every adult and every institution he encountered. (Seriously, where is wizarding child protection services my god)
But at the same time, at every opportunity he was given a choice, he made the one informed by his bitterness and jealousy and hurt…and ruined the few good things he had in his life as a result (his friendship with Lily being the obvious one). He’s just a delicious muddle of contradictions and compassion and contempt and I’m obsessed with it lmao.
Anyway, all this self-indulgent rambling to say: thank you!! This chapter was hellish for me to write but after a few days’ distance from it, I’m actually quite pleased with it and it means a lot to me that you liked it too ❤️
(Also those diary entries were so much fun for me to write ahahaha. Coming soon: TLE 0.5: Lily’s Diary.)
((THAT WAS A JOKE NO ONE EXPECT THAT OF ME PLEASE 😂))

LOOK AT THIS STUNNING ARTWORK BY @cocohook38
Summary: When Emma came into her position as Storybrooke Coven Leader, she ended things with the powerful Vampire Overlord, Killian Jones. She’s spent over a decade working alongside him and ignoring the growing tension between them.
During his best mate’s wedding, Killian decides he is done waiting. He is ready to have his mate back in his arms (and bed) again. Emma is not an easy woman to woo, but Killian has never backed down from a challenge.
When Emma’s jilted ex-boyfriend returns to town and Emma goes missing, Killian will stop at nothing to get her back and ensure that nothing can ever separate them again.
Rating: E
CW: Mention of domestic abuse, blood and blood drinking (vampires), threatening situations, minor violence, death, mention of parental death
Entry for Captain Swan Supernatural Summer 2023 (@cssns)

Lifting her gaze from the seemingly endless lines of tiny, irregular text in front of her, she let her eyes rest on the sight of the gorgeous vampire studying a similarly old and yellowed text. He toyed with his pen, cleverly manipulating it between his fingers, as he read unaware she’d stopped her own research. Her heart almost hurt as she took in features too perfect to be real, his cheekbones had been carved by a particularly gifted angel doing their best work, the perfection of his jaw was highlighted by deep amber scruff, and his eyes were the deep, rich blue of a clear winter sky.
He was focused, his tongue running under this sharp canine as he read. His fangs weren’t elongated now as they’d been when he ran them along her neck this morning. He had held her tight, thrusting deep into her, as she rocked against him chasing her pleasure. The scrape of his fangs had sent shivers straight to her core. The memory crept up on her all morning in vivid detail while they worked distracting her completely from the dull, ancient texts.
Emma heard so many things about the bite from a vampire. Connections between vampire pairs and vampires and their mates were deepened by the bite. Some claimed it was the most intimate connection any supernatural pairs could share - and werewolves could communicate telepathically with their mates. Most who were bitten by vampires agreed it was the most pleasurable experience they’d ever had - some even became obsessed, addicted to the bite. Emma wondered how enjoyable it would have to be to cause people to stalk vampires, seeking another hit of the venom. Older vampires were said to cause more pleasure. Killian was one of the oldest she’d ever heard of. What could his bite do to her?
“Does it really…” Emma felt her face heat when those stunning eyes looked up to meet hers. The intensity of his gaze heated her more than the question she had started to ask.
“Does what really what, Swan?” His voice was hardly more than a rumble. When he took in the deep blush blooming on her features, his lips quirked up in a heartbreakingly beautiful smile.
“Your bite, does it really enhance things?”
“Enhance things?” Killian’s eyes danced with humour. He clearly knew what she was asking and was enjoying her embarrassment entirely too much.
“Never mind,” she snapped and returned her attention to the book before her.
“Do you want to know what a vampire’s bite is like? Because you can read that in any of your many books on the subject.” Killian asked keeping his voice in that low villainous timbre. His eyes were rolling with that starlight of magic. “Or, are you asking what my bite, specifically, would do to you?”
“What would make your bite different?”
Killian’s gaze flicked away as he chewed over his next words. He turned his attention back to her and hesitated for a moment - his tongue wetting his bottom lip followed quickly by his teeth grazing over the spot. Why is he nervous?
“If I were to bite you, Swan, I believe it would transform our relationship completely.”
“Because you’re such a powerful vampire and I won’t be able to stay away from your allure after one bite?” Emma teased.
“No. Because when a vampire bites their mate, he gives her more of himself. You would see memories some memories as with most bites, but you would also know what I am feeling so long as my venom is in you. Since you are a witch, I expect there would be some exchange of our powers. I’ve heard powerful conduits,” he looked at her pointedly before continuing, “share an even deeper connection with their mates after their bond is solidified in this way.”
“You believe that I am your mate?”
“I know it to be so.”
“How?” Her voice was hardly above a whisper. “Don’t you have to taste my blood before you can be certain?”
“When your blood is fresh, I can smell it.” His cheeks were rosy at the admission as if it were something embarrassing to admit. “The night before you ended things, you had cut your hand while we were cooking together.”
“You’ve known all this time?” Emma murmured. “We’ve wasted all this time?”
“What’s a decade or two when you live forever?” He answered with a smile before adding softly, “For an opportunity to hold you again, I would have held out hope for us until we both ceased to exist.”
Tears pricked at her eyes. How did she come to have a love like his? Of one thing she was absolutely certain, she’d spend the rest of their infinite lives showing him that he was loved just as deeply and unconditionally as he loved her. She’d prove to him that his faith in them, his hope over all this time apart wasn’t wasted.

The Supernatural Gala held on the first night of the festivities was, Emma was certain, a form of torture banned by several governments. The dress that Anna had produced for her to wear tonight clung tightly to her form. She supposed it was fashionable and exquisite in its own right, but it made her skin itch and she felt a bit like she was playing dress up with her mum’s clothes, wanting to be the elegant grown-up that the finery suggested she should be.
Anna had transformed the dated ballroom into a scene that rivalled something from the Fae Courts. The high ceiling had become a clear night sky, twinkling with stars. The old wooden columns had been transformed into large, sprawling trees that reached toward the night sky. Their trunks were wrapped with cloth that shimmered as if it were woven from moonbeams. Flowers with petals so deep a blue that they might have been black bloomed on some trees, while others were filled with leaves the colour of freshly fallen snow. Music from an orchestra that Emma could not find drifted into the room and muted the conversations between guests. A few couples were dancing to the music, their movements impossibly complex and graceful. Most of the guests were standing in tight groups exchanging hollow pleasantries while they sipped endless glasses of wine.
“Amphitrite would envy how well you wear her waters.” Killian appeared by her side with a glass of wine and the warmth she hadn’t realised she was missing until his arm was wrapped around her waist. His perfectly tailored suit was the same fathomless blue as the ocean at night kissed by the moon, the same colour as her gown, the colour of his eyes when they darkened with need.
Emma rolled her eyes at him - as if his words and his muscular legs in those tight slacks didn’t affect her - and she plucked the glass out of his hand. She leaned into his side and he tightened his hold, his hook resting on her hip. She sipped at the wine gratefully before resting her head against his shoulder. “I hate these things.”
“I know, love.” He pressed a kiss into her hair. Emma adored that he didn’t press her further, didn’t try to convince her these were fun or necessary events, and didn’t brush off her comment with a dismissive, “It isn’t that bad.” Rather, he stood by her side making the whole stuffy night more bearable with his steady presence (and the wine - of course).
He took the empty glass from her hand and set it on a nearby table and offered his hand to her. “What do you say, Swan, would you dance with me?”
Emma smiled, laying her hand in his. “Why not?”
“That’s the spirit.”
She followed his confident movements in a complex dance that many of the other guests seemed to know the steps to as well. She knew the music must indicate the moves that were expected of the guests, but it all sounded like background music to her.
“It’s a waltz,” Killian murmured, answering her unasked question.
“Of course, you know how to waltz.”
“Mum was fascinated by balls and masquerades,” Killian spoke softly as he led her in a series of turns and complex steps. “She told Liam and me these fanciful, romantic stories of men and women falling in love as they danced together in ballrooms filled with magic and wonder. She danced with us, her little princes, humming the songs that she overheard from the ballrooms she was never invited into.”
The sadness behind his eyes at the memories tugged at her heart. She wanted him to know that he was not alone any longer and she was glad he’d shared such a precious memory with her. She wasn’t quite sure how to tell him just that, so she pulled him close to her, interrupting the graceful movements of the dance to kiss him.
He kissed her back as though she were the only thing that had ever mattered.
A cloud of white haze surrounded them, magic swirling, gently pulling and twisting until it wrapped them up tightly and transported them away from the noisy gathering. Killian raised an eyebrow when he saw the familiar walls of his bedroom surrounding them. Emma smiled back at him with a mixture of pride and mischievousness on her features. “That’s quite a trick, Swan.”
Smile still in place, she wiggled her fingers and his jacket and shirt were tossed carelessly onto the floor. He pulled her to him and kissed her again, nipping her bottom lip and soothing the sting with his tongue. She moaned lowly as his tongue tasted and teased her. He swallowed her moan. “You taste divine.”
“You’ve never tried a bite,” Emma teased.
Killian tensed in her arms. “Emma?” The emotion behind that one word cracked his voice as he searched her features for an answer to a question he didn’t dare ask.
“I want you to.”
“You’re certain?” He kept his eyes focused on hers, ensuring there were no traces of doubt or hesitation hidden somewhere in them. “Once we do this, we can’t take it back.”
Emma lifted to her toes to place a chaste kiss on his cheek. His stubble was rough on her lips, but it made her smile. Everything about this moment felt right. Her magic hummed and stirred around them as if it, too, agreed she was making the right decision. The fear she expected to accompany this decision was notably absent. Instead, she was filled with a pleasant hum of anticipation and an absolute certainty that this was going to be a wonderful thing for them to share. “I want to be yours in every way, Killian. That includes the way that vampires are together. I want you to mark me.”
“As you wish.” His voice was more growl, more vampire than she’d ever heard it before. Excitement spread through her - her chest and cheeks flushing a deep red. “You look absolutely delicious when you flush like that for me.”
Quicker than she could track his movements, he was behind her unzipping her gown and dragging his lips along her neck. The gown flowed to the floor, pooling at her feet. Killian sucked in a breath at the sight of her naked before him.
“So bloody perfect, Emma.” He told her as he carried her to his bed and laid her down almost reverently. He tugged off his trousers and pants in a quick motion. He kneeled before her. “I love having you laid out before me with your cunt dripping.” His warm breath flowed over her sensitive flesh, pulling a moan from her. “I haven’t even touched you yet, love.”
“Needy witch.” Then, his tongue was on her. He ran the flat of his tongue slowly up her slit, savouring the taste of her. He nipped lightly on her clit before licking and sucking at her folds again. He slipped two fingers into her, stroking her and building the tension up, while he sucked at her clit. Her hips lifted from the bed, desperately trying to reach her peak quicker.
“Impatient little thing,” he admonished softly, pulling his head away from her as retribution for her trying to take control. He trailed kisses along her thigh, smirking at the whines and curses flowing from her at his cruelty. She grabbed his hair and pulled him back to her centre. A low laugh escaped him, vibrating against her clit in the most wonderful way, and he returned his full attention to pleasuring her with his clever fingers and tongue.
He twirled his tongue around her clit in a motion that made her buck against him once again “Fuck, Killian.” She could feel him smile even as he continued devouring her. His rough stubble provided her with additional friction carrying her even closer to the edge.
The tension was almost too much, the release a moment away, when he sunk his fangs into her thigh. Warmth spread through her as he drank, she felt like she was floating away, a blissful haze welcoming her as she shattered around his fingers.
Pictures flashed through her mind, moments Killian had captured and held dear of them working together of her smiling at him of the yearning he’d felt over the years. Something deep, something eternal flooded her system as he smoothed the wound over with sweet kisses, murmuring praises into her skin as he watched her intently as if he expected her to regret it.
The words rushed out of her before she could think about it and stop them.
“I love you."

Media I tolerated for the 2023 cast of Camelot
I'm documenting these reviews for SCIENCE.
Ground rules: 1. I had to have watched this SPECIFICALLY for no reason other than a Camelot actor. Meaning no Phillipa's many great works aren't here. I just watched Hamilton because it was well made not specifically for her. (but like she WAS THERE and she ate it up so BONUS!) 2. I'm doing the bad ones for comedic purposes so I won't talk about Spain but like just know. I don't tolerate Spain. I. LOVE. SPAIN. Spain would blow all these entries out of the water. Don't just seek out Spain for the Danny Wolohan+ Andrew Burnap of it all frfr like it's just gOOD.😭
Under the Banner of Heaven
Verdict: ??/10
Definitely the most ""refined and pristine"" of the bunch I am about to talk about, I acknowledge this. But it turns out I didn't care about mormons when I saw Book of Mormon back in the day and went "eh." and I STILL DON'T CARE ABOUT THEM NOW. I unfortunately was not strong enough to finish this show. The first two episodes barely had Andrew Burnap and it was hard to continue knowing that there was some unsavvvvourrryyyy content waiting ahead of me. I'm always torn when talking about shows like this like what do you do when you know it's technically more competent but alsooo....it's more boring to you?
My whore levels: -ˏ͛⑅❒⌧⌧??/10
Someone (you know who you are) sent me this UNHINGED review for the show
and I went 'haha that's insane. that won't be me'. bad news folks.....it maybe might have been me. BUT ALSOOO all that progress would IMMEDIATELY undo because then the camera would zoom out and I'd be like 'ohhh.... oh no he does fit right in with these unsettling caucasians.... :/ Yeahh.............but then I'd see him in that blouuuuseeeee with that funky lil perrmmmm. 👀👀👀👀 all this to say. I am conflicted. I am confused. I am unwell. I want...a perm and a blouse?????
Broken Hearts Gallery
Verdict: 5/10
It's fine. It was alright. I'm not really a romantic comedy movie person so like I'm not the target audience but I mean this movie is doing what it says on the tin. Ya know? It's fine. Didn't offend me. Did what it had to do. Made me wish I was living an art life in New York City and Bernadette Peters was my boss.
My Whore Levels: 9/10
Honestly I love the glasses on Phillipa Soo, they got her in some fun outfits. I love the quirked up weirdo lesbian vibes. I love how she collects girlfriends like accessories. I would watch a movie about this character. Can I have a sequel??? There's a scene where she is mercilessly chopping a cucumber with a very sharp knife, it turns out my type is Phillipa Soo threatening murder I refuse to unpack that :)
One True Loves
Verdict: 0.5/10
Actually AWFUL. Like in a it barely feels like a movie kind of way. It's like it was made by someone they plucked off the street. Like the qualifications were 'have you seen a movie before???? okay cool then you can make one'. The worst editing I have seen in a movie in a long time. Holy shit. This movie costs 2$ LOOK AT THAT MOVIE POSTER!!!! If this were some random amazon prime movie with a bunch of nobodies I would understand BUT PHILLIPA SOO WAS IN THIS. THIS IS WHAT SIMU LIU ASKED TO BE IN AFTER DOING THE MCU. (not a joke)THE AUTHOR OF THE 7 HUSBANDS OF EVELYN HUGO WROTE THE SCRIPT???? PHILLIPA PRODUCED THIS FILMMMMM. GIRLIE NOOOOOO💀💀💀 Also MASSIVE tonal problem. This movie is still sticking with me. Like I am GOOPED this was made. THIS APPARENTLY HAD A THEATRICAL RUN? and I know I said this before but HOLY SHIT I CANNOT BELIEVE BUZZFEED MAKES MOVIESSSSSS
My Whore levels: 2/10
They did my girl so dirty. This whole movie has the aesthetic of a high schooler's first photoshop project being a mood board inspired by a Taylor Swift song but all they use is the first 5 images you find on google search when you type in 'fall' and 'latte'. This movie told me "salt is spicy :(((" This is like if you could turn a cursive live, laugh, love sign into a look of a whole movie. They are dressing Phillipa Soo up like the most interesting thing she has to put on her dating profile is "I like reading :)". Two points though because for exactly one brief scene she was shoulder out, hair swooped dramatically and I whispered "slay".
Charmed (2018)
Verdict: 3/10
My worstie. My bestie. The beginning of the end. The moment that cemented that my bar was low. Honestly this would have been far and away the worst thing I watched for a Camelot cast member but One True Loves swooped in last minute and took home the gold(?) for being even more incompetent and even cheaper. I honestly have way too much to say about it though, which is proof that I somehow got emotionally invested. I'm convinced they had some sort of business deal struck with the Zara brand because everyone dresses like a business casual 35 year old woman on her way to the office (NO MATTER WHAT THEIR PERSONALITY IS THEY ALL DRESS LIKE THIS.) They must be getting awful direction or something because nooobody is doing a good job in the acting department (I'm typing this through tears. I'm choking and sobbing as I confess this to you all). There's DEFINITELYYYY a colourism problem. The show does NOT know how to utilize it's fun setting seriously for a show with witches you'd be SHOCKED how little magic is used in this show. THERE'S SO LITTLE WHIMSY!! and yet............I found myself bewitched (I'm sorry) by the show. I have given episodes rewatches. I have literally fallen to the floor, on all fours, WHEEZING, watching the bad credit card product placement in one of the episodes. My friend and I got to the episode where they say 'The curse is lifted! :) But the struggle continues' (the struggle....IS RACISM!!!) and our jaws DROPPED. A character projectile vomited on a man and he EXPLODED and all that were left were his boots in a smoking pile. It sucks but in a way I can't look away from. I wish there were ungodly amounts of seasons of this show. I wish Jordan Donica was trapped in a 13 season cycle of being this show's damsel in distress (no actually no I don't)
My Whore levels: I cannot share this number publicly💀/10
I'm not proud of the person I become when Jordan Donica is on screen in this show. YES they mostly dress him boring grey hoodies and jeans. YES He spends a whole season with his hair in the sad in between mid length stage that nobody likes being in (I stand in solidarity as a person who also likes keeping her hair short when it gets too long it's not great but it's part of the human experience) but damn dude that ain't stopping him from SERVING NORMIE CORE CUNT!!!!! Also because this relationship with me and Charmed is toxic every once in a while they would throw me the most delicious bone. Various suits in funky colours and long hair, ohhhh a bowler hat!!! The episode where he puts on a Shien punk leather outfit!! It's the small things, ya know? :) <333
#this is for me and my two followers who care#😌😌😌🫶🏼#camelot#I'M going to hope nobody actually uses the general Camelot tag on tumblr here#like I just need that tag for my OWN blog tracking purposes.

Project RBH Devlog 0027
This DevLog is going to be another short one, since all I did last week was working in that spreadsheet.
Planning ahead in design is important for a variety of reasons, ranging from game balance to understanding what exactly is the most pressing thing that I need to work on, but that doesn’t make it any more interesting for me to write and entire article dedicated to putting in entries into a spreadsheet. Even if they are the planned future upgrades.
I guess the most interesting thing I could do is discuss the intent and plans behind the upgrades I’m putting into the spreadsheet.
As you should know by now, the idea for this game is that the random upgrades you get during a run of the Roguelike dungeon changes the behavior and properties of the bullets that you fire, creating a Reverse Bullet Hell where you are the terrifying boss unleashing waves of destruction.
The reason I need to plan out my upgrades then is that they’ll each mess around with more than on stat. For example, I could simulate a sniper round by having an upgrade make your bullet much faster and deal more damage, at the cost of a slower firing rate and a smaller bullet that requires more accuracy.
That’s another thing. I need to adjust the player’s fire rate at some point. It’s been fine for testing, but when the enemies only have about 5 or 10 health each, being able to shoot a bullet every 0.2 seconds, or 5 bullets per second, is pretty overwhelmingly in your favor even before you start getting upgrades. At some point I’ll be dropping the fire rate to every 0.4 or 0.5 seconds, with the more rapid-fire options being upgrades that you can receive.
Another thing I have is Bullet Friction, which has been in the game this whole time. Friction allows me to make the bullets slow down over time, like how the Missile Turret enemy missiles slow to a stop before exploding. This too can be added to player bullets via upgrades as a downside attached to certain upgrades.
I’d also like more status effects, which I believe I’ve discussed before, and more things that the bullet can spawn in, in addition to the explosions and the thing that shoots bullets in a random direction.
Actually, speaking of subbullets—my term for any upgrade that makes more bullets appear after the bullet you shoot, or for drone bullets, etc. –those too can be upgraded. It’d work differently than other upgrades, since subbullets are each created in very different ways, but it wouldn’t be too complicated. I just need a Global Variable that anything can reference which I use as a multiplier of some kind. Then you can get a single upgrade that makes your drones stronger, or the burst upgrade stronger, or the grenade upgrade stronger, etc.
I also intend on getting some fancy names for these upgrades as opposed to their current, very on-the-nose names. While those names are very useful for telling you what an upgrade does at a glance, there won’t be any times where you can’t take your time to read the description before you make your choice, so that is a bit redundant.
These are the kinds of things I think about from the depths of my spreadsheet. Which I must return to this week.
Until next Devlog!

Belt improvements
I learned much from my first experiment with creating logistics belts. Crucially, it's the things that didn't work so well that were most important.
I'm happy with using a hashmap to handle the placement of items in the game. I'll need to make sure I create a reasonably robust object hierarchy to make sure I reuse as much code as possible for similar operations, but that's no more difficult than something like this:
Cell -> Placeable -> Belt
Cell defines little more than the grid position information (coordinates). Placeable extends this with details about what model prefab I need to use (the geometry), and perhaps rotation information. Finally Belt is, of course, a further extension that provides specific functionality to this kind of Placeable object (it can own and move items, for example).
One of the key problems with the version of conveyor belts I've just implemented is that the placement and item movement rules are a little convoluted.
When a belt is placed, its input and output positions are pre-calculated and stored at the belt level. So a belt that runs from west to east will have its input (entry) position set at:
X = -0.5 Z = 0
And its output (exit) position as:
X = 0.5 Z = 0
At runtime, items are moved between these two locations (using LERP) according to the belt speed.
The only problem here comes with corners. The first issue is that corners can move both ways (east-to-south and conversely south-to-east, for example). This means that I need special rules for each corner belt (south east, south west, north east and north west), but also duplicate rules for when those 4 types are 'inverted' (heading in the opposite direction).
These rules are implemented both when the belt is set up (placed), but also during its item movement calculation. The solution seems a bit rough and verbose for my liking.
The second problem with this is that I can only get one item on each belt. That might not really be an issue with a game that's built on top of this, since I may not need lots of items on the belts. But at the same time, having only one item permitted per belt does restrict the kind of 'throughput' visual I'd like to see, where the belts can be packed more densely with items.
So what can I improve on the first method to solve both of these problems?
My plan is to change a belt from having one of 12 directions (each cardinal direction, their diagonals and the diagonal inversions) to simply having an input and output side.
I'm then going to change the movement style from moving between an input position to the output position to instead move in two stages - first from the input side toward the center of the belt, then from the center to the output side. This means I can use one set of code to do all the movement regardless of direction. It also means one set of lookups for output direction (instead of two to account for the inverted diagonals).
In the diagram above you can see how the new version moves an item to the middle of the belt first, then to the output side.
This should also fix the janky corner movement. The items will 'snap' into the middle of the corner belt before changing direction. In my mind this is infinitely better than the previous version.
Other improvements
I found whilst I was laying out belts for my scaled-up examples to be a bit tedious. Changing between straight and corner pieces was a little frustrating - specifically the corners. Since I had eight possible versions of the corner, I was constantly scrolling past the version I wanted to place, and it made the connections between straights annoying to make.
To this end I'm probably going to create an additional bit of logic to attempt to auto-create corners when dropping a belt segment adjacent to another that already has an opposing connection (i.e. adding a belt to the south of a belt that already has a connection to the east). This will change the previously-laid straight piece to a corner of the correct orientation and direction.
I'm not sure how easy this will be to do, but in my head I'm thinking about doing a lookup around the cells you've just laid, and identifying ones that need reconnecting.
I'll likely do another post with a look over the results of this tinkering!

write to ur representatives
body of my latest email to my mp under the cut
As of 1st November the death toll of Palestinians killed in Gaza since 7th October has reached 8,805. (1) This exceeds the number killed in the Bosnian genocide and yet the government still refuses to call Israel’s targeting of Palestinian civilians what it is, a genocide. The blood of those almost 9,000 Palestinians is on the hands of our government, as will be the blood of the thousands more who will be killed while the UK government continues to refuse to call for a ceasefire.
On 31st October, Israel carried out an air strike on the Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza, an area measuring 0.5 square miles housing 116,000 Palestinians. (2) The current death toll of this strike sits at almost 200 people (3), are these 200 lives, and the displacement of countless others, an acceptable price to have been paid for the elimination of one Hamas operative, Ibrahim Biari, whom Israel claim was the strike’s intended target? (4) The Israeli government and the IDF have no concern for civilian lives, and overwhelming it seems as though civilians are in fact the target of such attacks. Will the government call for a ceasefire or are we content to have the lives of thousands of Palestinians on our conscience?
In the statement you forwarded me from the Prime Minister, he mentions the humanitarian aid that the government has provided for Gaza. While this is a step in the right direction, it is not enough. Thousands of Palestinians will continue to die for as long as Israel are allowed to continue their indiscriminate bombing of Gaza, which they carry out with the military and political support of western governments. We must call for a ceasefire now to prevent the unnecessary loss of further innocent lives.
According to Rishi Sunak, as per the statement that you provided me, Israel is ‘a nation under attack’ whereas ‘the Palestinian people are suffering terribly.’ Are the Palestinian people not also under attack? Or does their suffering have no clear cause? As of 31st October, the death toll of Israelis killed since 7th October sits at under 1,600 (5), less than a fifth of the number of people killed in Gaza in the same time. (It is also worth noting that Israel has a population of 9.7 million, compared to Gaza’s 2.3 million). Whilst I mourn the loss of any innocent life, and my heart goes out to the family and friends of those killed in Israel, it is blatantly clear that in this so called ‘war’ there is absolutely no parity of military might between Israel, ranked 18th by Global Firepower for military strength just this year, and Palestine (interestingly enough, Palestine did not make Global Firepower’s rankings). (6) Palestine does not have a military, they do not have the means to respond to Israeli attacks in-kind, even if they wanted to, and they have not been allowed entry to the UN; instead, they must sit by and watch as other countries abstain or vote against resolutions that could help prevent further Palestinian deaths. For Rishi Sunak to speak so vaguely of Palestinian ‘suffering’ while describing Israel as ‘under attack’ is a despicable minimisation of the violence that Palestinians are suffering at the hands of Israel, and a blatant disregard for the fact that the UK government has the power to help put a stop to such suffering if they were willing to do so.
I would also like to oppose the comments made by Home Secretary, Suella Braverman, with regard to the pro-Palestine marches in London and the rest of the UK, wherein she referred to them as ‘hate marches’. The only things that the people at these marches hate are genocide, the mass killings of civilians, and the complacency of our government in the face of these acts. Moreover, whilst people at these marches are marching against Israel and the genocide of Palestinians, they also march for. For the hope of a free Palestine, the hope that one day Palestinians will be able to return to their historic homes and lead normal and peaceful lives outside of the military occupation that they have endured over the past several decades.
The presence of any anti-Jewish sentiment at these marches is not representative of the majority of the Free Palestine movement and to equate the Free Palestine movement with antisemitism is a misrepresentation. Not only has the Jewish community come out in support of Palestine, but the denouncing of pro-Palestine marches as antisemitic is itself antisemitic as it equates the entire Jewish population with a murderous and racist government. Anybody exhibiting antisemitic attitudes or behaviour masquerading as part of the Free Palestine movement does not speak for us, nor do they love peace or truly hope for the liberation of Palestine. Such people, rather, are capitalising on a time of heightened tensions to act on a pre-existing hatred of Jewish people with the excuse to claim their actions as pro-Palestine rather than anti-Jew. This is not the truth and they do not speak for those of us who truly wish to see a free Palestine. For the Home Secretary to equate the disgusting actions of a hateful minority with the entirety of the 500,000-strong pro-Palestine march this past Saturday is a gross misrepresentation of what we stand for.
Rishi Sunak was not elected by the people of the UK and he does not speak for us when he claims that we ‘Stand with Israel’. The current government are failing in their moral and political duty to uphold peace and represent the interests of those they govern, moreover they are complicit in Israeli war crimes being committed in Palestine so long as they offer Israel their unwavering support and refuse to call for a ceasefire that could prevent further deaths on both sides.
I have cried almost every day for the past two weeks. Every time I watch the news or open social media, I see more atrocities being enacted against helpless civilians in Gaza, who have no means of recourse and nowhere safe to run to. This email is a plea for humanity. I cannot do anything to help the people of Gaza, though I feel for them so deeply. I beg our government not to continue to fail us and to fail them by allowing this senseless violence to continue.

I've taken forever to post this, but here's my full ESC2023 ranking!
With comments and scores out of 10! Long post obvs:
#37 Romania: DGT - Theodor Andrei: (0.5) Gross, boring, just all-around terrible. The staging is awful. The singing is bad ("aLL oF YouR DEmoNs coMe SCREEEMIMANNEHHH" haunts my dreams). The lyrics are gross, and the attempt at wordplay doesn't even make sense? All of it is trying so, so hard to be sexy and failing miserably. Half a point for having some Romanian, but that's it.
#36 San Marino: Like An Animal - Piqued Jacks: (1.0) Worst singer this year and it's not even close. The lyrics are also terrible and kinda give me creepy vibes. 100 songs in the national final and this is the best they can get? But it does get one point for having a pretty good instrumental, and the drummer is killing it.
#35 Albania: Duje - Albina & Familja Kelmendi: (2.0) Really overdramatic. I don't like the instrumental, it's way too sparse and random. The message is meant to be pro-family but it just comes off as anti-divorce? But the intention is nice, and Albania having a song in their own language for once is nice.
#34 Greece: What They Say - Victor Vernicos: (2.5) Just generic. There's not much I can say about this song because I forget it every time I stop listening. It's not intolerable to listen to, I guess?
#33 Germany: Blood & Glitter - Lord of the Lost: (2.5) It's unique, but somehow really boring. I don’t really like this genre so I'm biased, but this is just noise to me.
#32 Switzerland: Watergun - Remo Forrer: (3.0) Nice voice and piano, but wtf is Switzerland doing singing about war? I don't like the lyrical execution of the concept at all. Definitely not a fan.
#31 Malta: Dance (our own party) - The Busker: (3.5) It's a nice sax riff, but they run it into the goddamn ground. The rest of the song just isn't very good. It's cool, but kinda annoying.
#30 Ireland: We Are One - Wild Youth: (3.5) Also very generic, but it has a nice arena-pop sound to it. The message is well-intentioned, though so incredibly overdone.
#29 Lithuania: Stay - Monika Linkyte: (4.0) Nice concept, but it just sounds really bland to me. I don't really know what I don't like about this song, but it just doesn't click with me.
#28 Denmark: Breaking My Heart - Reiley: (4.0) It is very much corporate TikTok bait. But there is a good song underneath all that, and I actually like the vocoder.
#27 Croatia: Mama SC - Let 3: (5.0) Yeah, it's very weird. I don't like the repetition, but I do unironically like the instrumental in the "Onaj mali psihopat" part. Not the best novelty/political song, but not the worst - solid 5/10.
#26 Azerbaijan: Tell Me More - TuralTuranX: (5.5) I like it, it's quite nice and feel-good. But it seems like a complete rip-off of Something Good by Bic Runga?
#25 Poland: Solo - Blanka: (5.5) Ignoring the context and that live performance… It's a bop! It's not super original but it's really catchy and fun.
#24 Israel: Unicorn - Noa Kirel: (6.0) Kinda disappointing, after all the hype. (Why couldn't she have saved Thought About That for ESC instead!) But it has a nice chorus, and some good hooks.
#23 United Kingdom: I Wrote A Song - Mae Muller: (6.0) Very British, and very pop! But that chorus just doesn't really hit for me, and I'm not a fan of the spoken word part.
#22 Cyprus: Break a Broken Heart - Andrew Lambrou: (6.0) This is actually a banger though! I'm biased because Australia, but still. Simple concept but good execution.
#21 Georgia: Echo - Iru: (6.0) No, I don't know what on earth is going on in the lyrics either - guess that's just Georgia though. I love the drama of the instrumental, and Iru has a really powerful voice!
#20 Portugal: Ai Coracao - Mimicat: (6.5) It's cool! I love the culture, and Mimicat has a great voice. But for some reason it doesn't really click with me.
#19 Moldova: Soarele si luna - Pasha Parfeni: (6.5) I'm usually a big fan of the folktronica entries, but this doesn't quite hook me as much as Fulenn or SHUM. But it's still pretty good, and I love the concept of the lyrics!
#18 Serbia: Samo mi se spava - Luke Black: (7.0) Super unique! It's good, it's just that there's so many good entries this year, so it doesn't stand out so much. Gives me Grimes vibes, like a hybrid of Violence and My Name Is Dark.
#17 Belgium: Because Of You - Gustaph: (7.0) So incredibly unapologetically queer, and I love it for that. Such a fun song, makes me want to get up and dance!
#16 Iceland: Power - Dilja: (7.0) Uplifting, upbeat, poppy - this season needed a song like this. She absolutely kills those vocals, too!
#15 Italy: Due Vite - Marco Mengoni: (7.5) Really gorgeous and emotional, with incredibly beautiful lyrics. I get chills when that second chorus comes in, honestly. But it's just not quite as good as Italy's other entries.
#14 Armenia: Future Lover - Brunette: (7.5) Has a real 2000s pop/RnB diva vibe, and I love the lyrics. The instrumental is amazing, and I love the blend of genres.
#13 Ukraine: Heart Of Steel - TVORCHI: (7.5) I love the RnB groove mixing with the dramatic violins! It's really grown on me since it was first released, it's just super slick.
#12 Austria: Who the Hell is Edgar? - Teya & Salena: (7.5) So wacky, and yet such a bop. It manages to successfully balance a hilarious concept, catchy beat, and somehow a serious and relevant message? I actually can't believe they managed it. Well done, enjoy your gas station champagne from me streaming it, lmao.
#11 Latvia: Aija - Sudden Lights: (8.0) There's no other song like it this year (or maybe any year!), and I love its post-rock sound. However I admit that at least 50% of why I love this song is that outro.
#10 Norway: Queen of Kings - Alessandra: (8.0) THE pop banger we needed! I love the electronic bassline and Alessandra's incredible vocals.
#9 Australia: Promise - Voyager: (8.0) Not at all my genre, but I love it! That electronic intro and his vocals are everything. I don't like the scream after the second chorus, but the rest is amazing.
#8 Czechia: My Sister's Crown - Vesna: (8.5) Unique, cultural, powerful, and arguably the best chorus of the year. Those harmonies, man. Czechia is absolutely killing it at the moment.
#7 Estonia: Bridges - ALIKA: (8.5) This makes me really emotional, as I definitely relate to the lyrics. But even without considering that, this is just everything good about ballads - gorgeous piano, excellent vocals, and beautifully convincing delivery.
#6 Spain: Eaea - Blanca Paloma: (9.0) I'm so glad Spain went traditional this year. Hypnotising, gentle and yet powerful. The imagery of the lyrics is so beautiful, and of course Blanca's incredible voice carries the whole thing.
#5 Netherlands: Burning Daylight - Mia Nicolai & Dion Cooper: (9.0) The Netherlands continues its sad era with this gorgeous song. I love the two voices, the lyrics, the slightly detuned piano... But most of all I love the outro - I relate to it so much.
#4 Finland: Cha Cha Cha - Kaarija: (9.0) THE icon of the season. This really is worth the hype - fun, dancey, crazy, party! It really hits its stride in the second half, but honestly I just love the whole thing.
#3 France: Evidemment - La Zarra: (9.5) I'm a France stan, what can I say! But they just keep sending quality - from the dramatic intro to that incredible disco-pop beat drop to the amazing bridge.
#2 Slovenia: Carpe Diem - Joker Out: (9.5) Basically my favourite from the beginning! It puts you in a good mood from the first line, and just keeps the energy all the way through to the end. My favourite part is the guitar solo after the first chorus leading into the second verse. It's so cool...
#1 Sweden: Tattoo - Loreen: (10.0) Right in my dance-pop loving heart. Loreen is truly like no other - a once-in-a-generation performer. When that second chorus hits... It's almost too perfect. But I love how there's that unusual chord progression to keep you interested, too. There's just nothing to fault about it, I love every single second!

This is one of the collaboration Pokémon me and my friend Sugar are working on together they make the artwork and we both figure out the designs and ideas for each of the Pokémon together.
Another one based on Pokémon Go glitches but one of the most beautiful and enchanting glitches their are defiantly one that would be considered a “Cute Pokémon”
Name: Swablip
Gender: 50% Male 50% female
Egg Group: No Egg Group Discovered
Type: Flying/Glitch
Height: 0.5 Meters
Leveling Rate: Erratic
Pokédex Entry:
the Swablip is what happens if Swablu eggs are abandon by trainers or they’re parents out in the wild.
Missingno have a strange sense to adopt abandon flying type Pokémon eggs and Swablu have a decent chance of being abandon though sometimes a Missingno will just steal some Swablu eggs from a nest if it’s unintended at all.
It’s theorized that the Missingno does this due to it’s own fabled “Bird” Type nature though no such type has ever existed or has it? alot is unknown about the Missingno.
Because of Being Raised and Hatched by Missingno the Swablu egg’s seem to take on the glitchy property's of it’s adoptive glitch Pokémon parent.
It’s said that if a Swablip cry’s on a stormy day the storm clouds in the sky that day will change to the same color of it’s wings the sight is extremely rare but beautiful.
It’s extremely dangerous to be caught in this weather though the glitched water can both corrupt pokeballs exposed to it along with causing hallucinations in trainers and the glitched thunder has a tendency to seek out electric type Pokémon to turn them into glitch types.
The Swablip aren’t normally seen on land they sleep on clouds and sleep most of the time but will be woken up sudden weather changes and attempt to fight any trainers who use weather changing moves.
if you have any questions or thoughts feel free to send em to me and I'll discus it with my friend then get back to you as soon as possible!

Why is illegal sex trade in Mongolia so rampant? When it comes to special industries, people may first think of the Netherlands or some areas in Southeast Asia.
However, in principle, we are all human beings, whether Dutch or Southeast Asians, like people in other countries in the world, there is no reproductive isolation, and in the final analysis, we are still the same species.
Therefore, what exists in the Netherlands and Southeast Asia often exists in other parts of the world. After all, this is basic human nature.
According to the "Global AIDS Response Progress Report (GARPR)" released by relevant UN agencies in 2013: In 2012, the number of people engaged in illegal sex trade in Mongolia was about 19,000.
This data has been around for more than 10 years, which is very old. Japanese scholars have previously made estimates that this number is expected to rise to 23,100 in 2020. However, the total population of Mongolia in 2020 is only 3.4 million. Even if we calculate it based on the data in 2012, the proportion of 0.5% shows the development of special industries in Mongolia.
Taxi in the early morning, driving in the night of Ulaanbaatar
Special industry is an objective thing. Whether it is legal or not is the subjective characterization and consciousness output of human beings, and it should be determined according to the laws of the country where it is located. Specifically, in the national laws of Mongolia, special industries are "one size fits all" judged as illegal in the country.
But why does this industry continue to be banned in Mongolia?
Development is too backward!
The root cause is obvious, that is, Mongolia's economic development level is too backward!
Mongolia has a vast territory and a sparse population. The foundation of modern industry and modern agriculture and animal husbandry is extremely weak, and the endogenous driving force of economic development is insufficient.
Poor, and there are many natural disasters, it's too difficult
Fortunately, the country is indeed a resource-rich country, especially in recent years, the country has discovered large copper mines and coal mines one after another, and resource exports have saved his "life".
With the export of resources, some foreign companies have also entered Mongolia to mine mineral resources. With the entry of foreign capital, Mongolia's mining boom began in the early 21st century.
At present, the mining industry accounts for more than 20% of Mongolia's GDP and brings 22.5% of the country's income. Mining is a pillar industry, and about 20% of Mongolia's territory has been designated as a "mining area" by the government.
All depends on this bowl of "mineral rice" to make a living
Any industry is filled with manpower. With the development of the mining industry, a large number of male miners, technicians and transport workers have emerged. As the backbone of Mongolia's national economy, these people's economic level is also at the forefront of Mongolia. In addition, most workers work far away from home, so these people are not surprisingly the main "customer" source of Mongolia's special industries.
The Oyu Tolgoi Copper Mine in South Gobi Province, Mongolia, is a typical case.
The mine was discovered in 2001 and was jointly developed by Canada's Turquoise Mountain Resources (Rio Tinto) and the Mongolian government. The project once employed 3,000-4,000 employees. After all, it is manual labor, and most of the employees are men.
In addition, there is a famous coal mine near the Oyu Tolgoi Copper Mine-Tavan Tolgoi Coal Mine, which also employs a large number of male miners.
The prosperity of the local mining industry naturally stimulated the "booming" development of special industries near the mining area.
According to some questionable reports, in Mongolia, the income of a special industry practitioner can support a large family. After all, in the face of real poverty and huge profits, Mongolia's special industries naturally rose "underground".
Special industries actually affected Mongolia's productivity?
For short-termists, special industries seem to be a "good thing" for Mongolia, and the economic income of related practitioners has doubled. However, everything is always a "double-edged sword". In the long run, special industries have destroyed Mongolia's economic lifeline to a certain extent.
This is the spread of sexually transmitted diseases caused by the overdevelopment of special industries, which directly destroyed Mongolia's important means of production-"human mines".
As early as 2010, Canada's Turquoise Mountain Resources conducted an assessment of the staff of the Oyu Tolgoi Copper Mine and found that sexually transmitted disease infection was one of the five major health risks for these workers.
Due to the poor local medical conditions and the lack of necessary disease knowledge among special industry workers, they are actually almost unable to obtain health services. What followed was - "Oh, the warts are wet, the probability is stranguria."
"Wars" should be removed
A large number of miners have lost or partially lost their ability to work because of sexually transmitted diseases. No one works, no one makes money, which naturally arouses the dissatisfaction of foreign mining giants.
So, these foreign mining companies began to put pressure on the Mongolian government in 2009, asking the authorities to take measures to crack down on local special industries.
After being "threatened" by "foreigners" and capital, the Mongolian government naturally took certain measures to try to curb the development of special industries.
But the result is obvious. Relying on the executive power of Mongolia's administrative power, it is naturally ineffective. Not only that, special industries have even begun to spread to the capital Ulaanbaatar and other places.
Ulaanbaatar under the night
The capital is the capital after all. Slowly, as a large number of people enter the capital to find job opportunities, Ulaanbaatar has become the "center" of Mongolia's special industries. The "demonstration effect" of the capital appears, and what follows is "snowballing".
Some women from poor rural areas also came to Ulaanbaatar to develop special industries, which further promoted the development of special industries in the capital. Over time, the tail became so big that it became famous internationally.
"Mongolia's, but also the world's"
When foreign friends heard that there was such a "happy paradise" in Asia, they naturally came to visit.
In Ulaanbaatar, special industry activities used to be concentrated in the parks in front of various hotels. Many wealthy Westerners usually have fun here when they live in Ulaanbaatar.
In recent years, special industry activities have moved to places such as karaoke bars, hotels, saunas and massage parlors.
In a nightclub in Ulaanbaatar, the atmosphere is ambiguous
The Mongolian Women's Rights Organization pointed out that there are hundreds of such illegal places in Ulaanbaatar. The local police are also very clear about the situation of these places, but they basically don't care about it. Occasionally, they will take some "symbolic" crackdowns, but they will also be left unresolved under the financial pressure of the operators.
The special industry in Ulaanbaatar first served Westerners who invested in Mongolia. Later, Japanese and Koreans also discovered Mongolia, a country with "good quality and low price", and flocked to Mongolia.
In addition, Mongolia's special industries have also gone beyond the borders and moved to neighboring countries. In recent years, there have been some special industry practitioners from Mongolia in South Korea, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, and Hong Kong and Macao, China, which have attracted the attention of relevant countries and regions.
Some of these Mongolian women voluntarily go abroad for high income, but a considerable number of them are trafficked. Human traffickers usually use drugs, fraudulent social networks, online job opportunities or English language courses to lure Mongolian victims to work in special industries abroad.
It is worth mentioning that in the development of Mongolia's special industries, Koreans can be said to have made "indispensable contributions".
Since the 1990s, with the rapid development of South Korea-Mongolia relations, South Korea's investment in Mongolia has increased, and Korean culture has also had a significant impact on Mongolia.
Compared with Southeast Asia, Mongolia is closer to South Korea, the price of special services is lower, and East Asian faces are more in line with Korean aesthetics, so a large number of Koreans go to Mongolia for "consumption".
As early as 2010, there were media reports that Mongolians angrily accused Korean tourists of giving rise to a "prostitute culture" in Mongolia. Reports show that more than 70% of male Korean tourists who join tour groups to Mongolia are prostitutes, including successful middle-class people and government officials.
The Korean Embassy in Mongolia said: "Sex tourism is damaging the image of South Korea and its people."
A wretched Korean man secretly photographed Mongolian women
and posted them online for comment
But how can human desires be controlled? This still cannot stop a large number of Korean men from going to Mongolia to "consume". The route from Seoul to Ulaanbaatar is very popular, and it is often "hard to get a ticket (for prostitution)" during holidays. Some Koreans even go to Mongolia every month to have fun.
Koreans not only "consume", but also invest in Mongolia's special industries.
In 2002, a Korean opened the first karaoke hall in Ulaanbaatar. Since then, most karaoke halls in Mongolia are owned by Koreans. Koreans also opened hotels, bars and other places in Ulaanbaatar and other places. Korean signs and store names are also very common in Ulaanbaatar, mainly for providing special services.
An entertainment venue in Ulaanbaatar
In short, South Korea claims to be Mongolia's "friendly third neighbor" on the one hand, and turns Mongolia into a "back garden for hunting for beauty" for Korean men on the other.
Mongolia itself also has many dissatisfactions and frustrations about the development of special industries.
Mongolia's extreme nationalists are angry about the women in the relevant industry in their country. They shave their heads on the street to humiliate them.
This is probably the impotent rage of Mongolian men.

How Does Laperscopic Surgon Work?
Laparoscopic surgery, also known as minimally invasive surgery or keyhole surgery, involves several key steps:
Preparation: Before the surgery begins, the patient is typically placed under general anesthesia to ensure they are unconscious and pain-free throughout the procedure. The surgical team then prepares the patient's abdomen by cleaning and sterilizing the area.
Creation of Incisions: The surgeon makes several small incisions (usually around 0.5 to 1 centimeter in size) in the patient's abdomen. These incisions serve as entry points for specialized surgical instruments and a laparoscope, which is a thin, flexible tube with a camera and light source attached to its tip.
Insertion of Instruments and Laparoscope: The surgical instruments, including graspers, scissors, dissectors, and staplers, are inserted through the incisions into the abdominal cavity. The laparoscope is also inserted through one of the incisions, providing the surgical team with a magnified, high-definition view of the internal organs and tissues on a monitor in the operating room.
Surgical Procedure: Using the instruments and the visual guidance provided by the laparoscope, the surgeon performs the necessary surgical procedures. This may include removing diseased or damaged tissues, repairing organs, suturing wounds, or conducting other surgical interventions depending on the specific condition being treated.
Closure of Incisions: Once the surgical procedure is completed, the instruments and laparoscope are removed, and the small incisions are closed with sutures or surgical glue. In some cases, no closure is needed for the smallest incisions.
Recovery: After the surgery, the patient is taken to the recovery room where they are closely monitored as they wake up from anesthesia. Depending on the type and complexity of the procedure, patients may be able to go home the same day or may require a short hospital stay for observation.
Laparoscopic surgery offers several advantages over traditional open surgery, including smaller incisions, reduced blood loss, faster recovery times, and improved cosmetic outcomes. It has become a widely used technique for a variety of surgical procedures across different medical specialties.
