Katniss is such an unreliable narrator. She says "Then something unexpected happens. At least, I don't expect it because I don't think of District 12 as a place that cares about me" girl you deliver strawberries to the Mayor, you hunt and trade for the district, when you fell at Prim being chosen someone caught you, when you went to Prim people parted for you, when you volunteered EVERYONE stopped. Idk how to tell you but I think you're a pillar of the community.

Peeta buring the bread and tossing some to her then taking a beating from his mom is a HUGE thing in the books.#he used his resources to help her like you all said someone should.#district 12 DID (rip) care about Katniss before the hunger games. why do you think she was allowed to hunt? or how her trades were good #these are the little ways 12 can shows Katniss they love her. but again Katniss doesn't see this and YES its because she had ptsd before the #hunger games as well. i swear some of you make it seem like d12 was all living a life of luxury and glaring down at Katniss.#other things that show Katniss is in hight standing with at least her people of d12 is her dad was known enough through d12 for peeta dad to #comment on his singing along with his commenting on her mom. also her mom is a healer in the community. yeah her parents arnt the top but #of d12 but they are/were definitely high staning in the Seam.

"She has a thing for Robin, not me," Tim pointed out to Dick. "Besides, I'm technically betrothed."

"...What?" Dick asked, though he filed away the 'thing for Robin' comment. It wasn't untrue that a few people got more invested in the superhero persona than the person underneath. Dick sadly had his fair share of former partners like that. Starfire had even started as that, before she fell for the real him.

"My parents brought back this ancient set of binding cuffs when I was like eight, and I, a dumbass child, snapped them on," Tim explained with a shrug. "Turns out they were magic and would join my soul to my perfect partner."

"Oh shit," Dick stared in surprise. "How... who..."

"His name is Danny. He's... well, he's magical. A few years older than me, so we stick to penpal zone," Tim grinned. "He's responsible for some of my pranks."

"Oh..." Dick blinked before smiling. "Well then, I can't wait to meet him."

He'd lost the chance to lightly interrogate Jason's future partners. Even if this were more permanent, he'd take the opportunity.

They like to have sparring sessions in order to keep their bending skills sharp. They allow themselves to go all out and not hold back at all cause they know if anyone got hurt, Katara could just heal them

thank you! 💙💙💙 Leia/Leah/Lea/whatever is fascinating to me. she is the ultimate unknown. what was she like? how involved (or even aware of any details of the invasion) was she? Silver's basically a physical carbon copy of his biodad, so what did he get from her? like, I understand why the two of them kind of have to stay as these super vague and mysterious figures -- the whole point of them is that their story ended 400+ years ago and they're not really relevant anymore (and. well. the more that gets explained about them, the less that can just kinda be handwaved as "oh the politics were Very Messy") (we can sit here and theorize all day but let us acknowledge that, ultimately, canon gave us almost nothing about them post-Meleanor and we'd just be making things up). I do still wonder about her though! RIP Lea, we never knew you and we probably never will.

actually you know what, as long as we're here, I think I WILL go ahead and just make some stuff up about what Silver might've inherited from her instead.
