Mankind acts within their nature and since mankind is a free agent, he can pick what kind of cupcake he wants since that's within his free agency. However, since mankind's nature is sinful, he can't and will not submit himself to God in any way or form unless God changes his heart (hence, he can't morally accept God; don't prevent him from wanting a cupcake or what kind of cupcake). When God does change a person's nature, Man by his new nature will seek God of his own volition. Scripture reiterates that God decrees the end from the beginning and decreeing things that will happen (such as Christ's arrival, crucifixion, death and resurrection) but man's actions within those events is man's responsibility -- hence why Peter tells the Jews they killed the author of life yet God sovereignty decreed it to happen.

Soooo...both?

God being Sovereign and Man having free (not libertarian; but rather limited due to sin) will are things that can co-exist in Scripture.

Meet Dr. Kureha, aka Doctrine, the 141-year-old Masters of Doctors from One Piece. She's mostly known as Chopper's mom and teacher.

It's not so much trolling as it is a theme in one piece. No matter your age, you will never stop being cool. So you get a lot of incredibly interesting and well-written older adults who don't let their age hold them back. Like Kureha at 141 is still rocking a crop top in the snow kicking butt.

In Numbers 22, Balak, the king of Moab, saw the Children of Israel and was afraid of them, so he sent to fetch Balaam to curse them. Balaam said he would check with the LORD first. The LORD told him No, don't go with them. This happened more, because king Balak was serious and the prophet desired the king's pay for doing this deed, and so, the LORD said if you go with them, only say what I give you to say. He went the following morning. The ass he rode spared his life and God gave the ass the ability to open his mouth and say words to him, yet the prophet made his way to Balak. He ended blessing the children of Israel three times instead of cursing them because that was all the LORD spoke through him . . . Balak was mad and upset. He was upset with Balaam the prophet. So, Balaam, in his greed, counseled the king of Moab towards his goal of dismantling the threat of the children of Israel. He advised that he should cause self-sabotage through causing the children of Israel to worship their gods and such. This would make the LORD's anger kindle against them to destroy them (Numbers 22-25). Balaam got his prize.

This very same act occured in the Church during the time of the Roman Empire under the emperor Constantine's reign, and is yet ongoing, occurring today. It takes a sense of history to know and follow God's word and promises adequately. The messages to the Churches in Revelation address this history, because it is for "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches."

During the time of emperor Constantine, there was a union of church and state. There became an infiltration of the world into the Church. Paganism became transformed into "Christian" customs and traditions. Satan said since killing them in the Coliseum wasn't getting it, let me change strategy. A feast/festival for a day called Saturnalia or Yule to some in paganism became recognized and celebrated as the birth and celebration of the Christian deity instead. Its customs became adopted into the Christian faith. No big deal to man but to God, spiritually, it is. Christ speaks about this worldly conquest of the Church saying this:

[13] “I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. [14] But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. - Revelation 2:13-14

False teachers will teach that this observation is just a part of one's conviction . . . Meaning, it is your prerogative to do as you will here . . . All is pleasing to God. Don't allow these false preachers and teachers as Balaam, who have the word of God or the calling of God on their lives to preach the Word, to steer you to being rejected by God . . . God finishes to this people, saying, "REPENT, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. [17] “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches" (Revelation 2:16-17). Many pastors, bishops walk in blindness, no different than the world. "IF THE BLIND LEAD THE BLIND BOTH SHALL FALL IN THE DITCH." Many pastors, elders, teachers, prophets, evangelists, or people of God in general are covetous just as Balaam, unwilling to shine light on Truth or be for Truth.

The bayonet is essentially a weapon of offence - all attacks should be met with the bullet. If a counter attack with the bayonet has to be launched against an attack, it should be withheld until the enemy has straggled out and become exhausted, and then hurled against it. The exhausted leaders of the attack, the fittest and bravest of the enemy should be killed without difficulty; those in the rear, the less fit and more prudent, will become demoralised and commence to waver. If at this point a counter attack with the bayonet is pushed with vigour, this wavering will be converted into a rout; the flying enemy must be followed up and bayonetted in the kidneys. The rout will in all probability further degenerate into a panic.

People will turn away from God in the last days

1 Let me tell you this. During the last days of this world, there will be times of great trouble. 2 People will love only themselves, and they will want lots of money for themselves. They will be proud and they will say how great they are. They will insult other people. They will not obey their parents. They will not thank anyone who helps them. They will not respect anything that is good. 3 They will not be kind to other people, but they will like to quarrel. They will tell lies to hurt other people. But really they refuse to accept God's power to help them. You must stay away from people like that.

6 Among those people, there are some men who find a way into people's homes. They get power over silly women who feel very guilty about their sins. Those women want to do wrong things and they cannot stop themselves. 7 They are always trying to learn new things, but they can never really understand God's true message. 8 These are people who speak against God's true message, in the same way that Jannes and Jambres spoke against Moses. Their minds have become confused. The way that they serve God is false. 9 But they will not continue to do many more bad things. Everyone will see clearly that they are fools. That is what happened to Jannes and Jambres.

10 But you, Timothy, have heard my message and you know it well. You also know the way in which I have lived. You know my purpose in life. You know how I trust God. You know how patient I have been. You know my love for God and for other people. You know that I have been strong during troubles. 11 You also know what happened to me in the cities called Antioch, Iconium and Lystra. Just how you can't mix oil and water together; neither can anyone mix something foreign (e.i: witchcraft, other spiritual practices like yoga or reiki, tarot and etc) with Christianity and expect it to jive together. hi! i hope this isn't too invasive, but i know you're open about having survived growning up mormon, and im curious what sort of ideas they taught about israel and zionism. no pressure to respond at all, i just dont know anybody else with this sort of experience

ummm hmmm ok so like

i left at like 15, i never did seminary or my patriarchal/endowment shit, and prior to Leaving leaving i had checked out by being a little shithead for a few years so to keep it honest with you i really have sorta.... baby mormonism to draw on from personal experience. more culture than doctrine atp, yknow?

but i can tell you a few things i recall that werent necessarily framed as Israel-State Support Zionism Politics but that i think contribute to an overall zionist fervor.

For starters, the idea of 'Zion'/ the promised land / etc is really important to mormons. they call utah the new zion they claimed the garden of eden was in the midwest somewhere like the amount of things i heard w Zion in them before even knowing abt like, what it means in most contexts was wild.

theres also like, in general a deep desire to affiliate with ancient jews, hence the tribes of israel assignments. you select a piece of that history to integrate into what you feel is your own existential heritage. while not by blood, youre meant to treat it as a direct familial descendency. mormons are very loyal to the concept of the Chosen People, of ancient jewish struggles + practices, and so even though they actively and willingly participate in antisemitism, anything that threatens the idea of this magical chosen people also threatens the identity of the latter day saint

like. im showing my ass here i know but growing up ancient judaism and modern judaism were... two entirely separate things and groups to me? it was always meant to feel like we were the 'inheritors' of that legacy, not living actual modern day jews.

also mormonism is in general very built on colonialist preoccupations and the glorification of tales of the valiant chosen ones subjugating and conquering the land of the 'evil by nature but also they chose to be evil so its fine but also theyre inherently evil' other inhabitants, even if both parties had the same claim to indigenity (or lack thereof)

theres also the second coming and stuff but im gonna be honest i dont. quite know abt all of it

mormons are in a weird spot bc in theory palestine geographically is not the sacred space required for the fulfillment of prophecy like they make it very clear that everything has come To America and yet i think zionism and mormonism are so ideologically similar that mormons are more than likely to be zionist, and that the church no doubt has a very vested interest in the economic gains to be had in the act of colonization
