anorexia and bulimia aren’t the only existing ED. extreme obesity is also a fucking mental illness
I mean, we all hate ourselves in the same way, we should be best buddies

Why My 600-Lb Life Fans Praise Doctor Now
Why My 600-Lb Life Fans Praise Doctor Now
While the hit reality show My 600-lb Life is full of memorable cast members, its bariatric surgeon Dr. Younan Nowzaradan stands out in fans’ hearts and minds. Unmoved by tears, excuses, and theatrics, “Dr. Now” doesn’t waver when it comes to giving his patients strict weight loss instructions. This is why he’s often resented by those who are unable (or unwilling) to meet his expectations. He may…

What Brittani Fulfer From My 600-Lb Life Look Like Today
My 600-Lb Life success story Brittani Fulfer managed to shed a jaw-dropping 230 pounds during her time on the show, but what does she look like today? What does Brittani from My 600-Lb Life look like now? TLC reality show My 600-Lb Life is the creation of TV producer Jonathan Nowzaradan and stars his father Dr. Younan Nowzaradan – a surgeon and weight loss expert who is affectionately known as “Dr. Now.” The series has aired ten seasons since debuting on TLC in 2012 and each episode chronicles a year in the life of a morbidly obese person as they try to bring their weight down to a healthier level with Dr Now’s help. My 600-Lb Life participants are usually put on a strict exercise and diet regime by the good doctor with the goal of losing enough weight to be approved for weight-loss surgery. Some of Dr. Now’s patients fare better than others, of course, but the reality series has produced its share of success stories. Season 2’s Chuck Turner, for example, weighed in at 693 pounds when he turned to Dr. Now for help and lost a staggering 433 pounds during his My 600-Lb Life journey, Similarly, season 4’s Milla Clark has shed a jaw-dropping 600 pounds since she appeared on the reality show. SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Related: What Happened To My 600-LB Life’s Margaret Johnson After The Show Fellow season 4 patient Brittani Fulfer is another My 600-Lb Life success story. At the start of Brittani’s 2016 episode, she weighed just over 600 pounds and revealed she began binge-eating after being abused as a child. With the help of Dr. Now and a gastric bypass, the Oregon native had managed to shed 230 pounds by the end of her year-long weight loss journey and began addressing the reasons for her compulsive eating with a therapist. Since then, her appearance on My 600-Lb Life Brittani seems to be thriving. TLC caught up with Brittani in the follow-up series My 600-Lb Life: Where Are They Now? twice in 2017 and 2018. Where Are They Now? revealed that she’d managed to shed even more pounds and underwent surgery to remove the excess skin left behind after her weight loss. Brittani also informed viewers her relationship with husband Bill had gone from strength to strength since she began her journey and that they were considering trying for a baby. There haven’t been any more official updates on Brittani Fulfer since she last appeared on the reality TV show’s follow-up series and she doesn’t seem to be publicly active on social media either. However, judging by what she does post on social media, Brittani looks very healthy and almost like a completely different woman compared to her first appearance on My 600-Lb Life. Next: What Brandi & Kandi From My 600-Lb Life Look Like Today Tales Of The Walking Dead Trailer Reveals 6 New Stories In Spinoff Show About The Author Helen Armitage (1042 Articles Published) Helen Armitage is a freelance writer based in the UK who has been writing online since late 2013. She’s produced content for the likes of Culture Trip, WhatCulture and Prague.TV and started writing for Screen Rant in 2019 – firstly as a news writer before progressing onto writing mini-features. Helen is a lifelong fan of the horror genre which started in the 1980s when films like Gremlins and Cat’s Eye scared the life out of her as a kid. If she had to pick a favorite horror movie it would probably be The Shining but Ari Aster’s Hereditary and Midsommar rank in joint second place. Helen loves a good movie musical too and has probably watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Hedwig And The Angry Inch, The Blues Brothers and Little Shop Of Horrors more times than is healthy. She’s obsessed with dogs too so any films from the “sad dog movie” genre (Homeward Bound, Marley & Me, etc) make her ugly cry big time … but she’s still a cold-hearted horror movie fan, ok? A new book by a well-known Houston doctor describes obesity, specifically adolescent and childhood obesity, as “a worldwide epidemic” that affects nearly one third of the earth’s population.
“The Scale Does Not Lie, People Do” puts into perspective the economic impact of obesity, which every year claims the lives of millions globally and has doubled in 70 countries since 1980.
The book’s author is none other than TV star, obesity expert and bariatric surgeon Dr. Younan Nowzaradan, known endearingly to his patients as “Dr. Now” on the TLC show “My 600-lb Life.”
HIGH CHOLESTEROL: It’s the widespread ‘killer’ comedian Jay Leno fears
The book is a segue into a new campaign Nowzaradan is working on to shed light on the effects childhood obesity.
“Obesity is proven to shorten the life span about 20 years,” Nowzaradan said in an exclusive interview with Chron.com. “For the first time, Americans’ lives will be shortened by five to 10 years by the next generation.”
Obesity, a chronic and relapsing metabolic disease, is caused by several factors, but can mostly be attributed to a genetic predisposition, combined with epigenetics, which is affected by the environment, Nowzaradan said.
“Obesity is not a choice for people,” he said. “It’s not something that most people can walk their weight off with diet and exercise.”
The disease controls your calorie expenditure and intake, and even with surgery, which impacts the gastrointestinal hormones inside the stomach, the predisposition that causes obesity won’t correct itself, Nowzaradan said.
That’s why the success rate for those who are extremely obese, like the patients on his show, is about 5 percent, he said.
In short, losing weight is not easy, especially when you have multiple factors against you, he said.
Click through the slideshow above to get Nowzaradan’s 22 tips to losing weight — and keeping it off.
“It’s a double-edged sword,” he said, adding that people cannot solely blame their unsuccessful weight loss attempts on the environment or medications, which have been proven to alter the micro bacteria inside our intestines.
“It’s our own responsibility to understand what the problems are and what the solutions are,” he said.
Many people fail in their weight loss journey because they are not truthful with themselves, often eating more calories than they should be, he said.
Nowzaradan recommends understanding healthy eating habits and avoiding popular fad diets that are just a “temporary solution for a permanent problem.”

Shopping Games:a Hunger Games parody
This is a long post and parody of the Hunger Games series, in a South Park style! Hope you’ll like it.
During the government of Garrison, many States of the USA feel the hunger, the death of hundreds of people because of distracted drivers and the high taxes, but before Thanksgiving, Garrison announces that 100 kids from 8 to 16, a boy and a girl from every State, will be elected to partecipate in the deadly Shopping Games on the day of Black Friday. The whole nation begins to fear for their children, and regret to have elected Garrison instead of Hillary Clinton...
On Thanksgiving, the whole town of South Park goes to Denver, where other kids and teens from across Colorado have arrived for the Harvest. Riker Lynch, a famous singer from Colorado, picks from the boys’box the name of Kenny, while from the girls’box the name of Heidi! The girls begin to think that Heidi will never be able to bring honor to the state of Colorado...
The following day, Heidi and Kenny go to the Capital in order to partecipate to their first apparition on TV nationwide and to be trained for the Games. On the plane directed to Washington DC, they meet a war veteran called Tex Jones, who explains to Kenny what happened with the President Reagan and how he ruined the USA before Garrison. He explains that they should never have faith in politics, because they are often corrupt.
As soon as they arrive in the Capital, Kenny and Heidi go under medical check and beauty treatments. However, Heidi is brought to the famous doctor Younan Nowzaradan from the TV show My 6oo-lb life, who yells at her before removing her excess weight with an apposite machine. Later, bot the kids get their clothing, hair and makeup done, and they get to be interviewed by many journalist from the most famous TV broadcasting companies.
Over the following week, they are trained by experts in martial arts, sign shooting, survival, etc. On the last day of training, Kenny scores 120 points in front of the judges, while Heidi 96. On the eve of the Games, each tribute dresses formally and appears on television for an interview, where they attempt to attract Sponsors by being charismatic. Heidi begins to feel again comfortable and happy, without being around that huge fatass of Cartman, and soon gains support by a company that produces vegan food...
Finally, the day of the Games arrives: tracking chips are inserted under their skin, and later they are flown to an enormous mall in the middle of the city. It’s big about 60 football camps (324.000 square mt),and 100 mt high... The 100 kids look like ants from plane view... The tributes are lifted into the mall by glass tubes, emerging via tubes surrounding a giant shed where the grocery karts are. They are placed into 100 plates on the ground, and then, a sixty-second countdown to the start of the Games begins; if a Tribute steps outside the plate before the 60 seconds end, they are blown up by land mines.
The 60 seconds end, and a horn is heard: the Shopping Games have begun! The kids go to take the karts, and get inside the mall. They have 12 hours to take out as many discounted goods as possible, they are allowed to kill each other if possible, and every quarter of hour, the ones who have the highest prices are blown up by the chip in their body...
After 3 hours, and after almost 20 of the Tributes have been killed, Heidi launches an appeal to whoever is watching: they need to stop this foolishness before it’s too late! The people of South Park and Washington arrives to the Mall, and destroy the force camp that blocked the exits. Gerald Broflovski and Randy Marsh try to kill Heidi and Kenny, but both the adults are killed by Pc principal and their heads put on a pike as a warning to whoever will try to harm the remaining Tributes.
The Resistance rises again, led by the people of the small town of South Park, who after 3 days of storming the White House, finally captures Garrison and Jenner and executes them in public, in front of spectators from all around the world. At least, the Nation is safe, and these days will forever be remembered as “Days of Blood and Discounts”. Finally the town of South Park will be known for its glorious children, Heidi is finally free from Cartman’s manipulation, and her feats with Kenny will forever be sung, for generations to come.
