Fr tho if I were besties with Dem and Flug’s assistant I’d probably try to pull a few strings and convince him to get her another phone. It helps that you’re not as chaotic as her (but really, who is?), and sometimes they both use you as the middleman when the other gets on their nerves.

I honestly want to make a selfship blog (for Dr. Flug from Villainous, not The Torch from spout lore) but I do NOT have the motivation to draw that much or have enough confidence to post art about that but so many other selfship blogs are so focussed around art and I'd feel so bad if I just lost motivation and stopled being active on a blog like that. And writing is almost entirely off the table. I am so bad at fanfics omfg (the only stuff i have is a tiny Drabble in a google doc because I was hit with a wave of dysphoria and I remembered that people are transphobic). But I don't want to post it here because I just wouldn't want that on here and if stuff did ever become popular I wouldn't want people coming HERE knowing THIS blog for a selfship because that's not what I want for it.

But, that's enough of this little rant. Have a good existence everyone!

20.07.2024 Hue

Heute bricht schon der letzte Tag in Hue an. Wir konnten deutlich besser schlafen, auch wenn der Hahn der Nachbarn früh wach war. Wir lassen es gemütlich angehen und sind ab 9 Uhr beim Frühstück. Heute stehen noch zwei kleinere Sehenswürdigkeiten auf dem Programm.

Wir starten an „der höchsten Pagode Vietnams“ laut Wikipedia, aber trotz der sieben Stockwerke der Pagode denken wir, dass wir schon höhere gesehen haben. Es lohnt sich dennoch hier gewesen zu sein, denn gerade ist Gebetszeit der Buddhisten. Das ist auch mal interessant anzusehen und zu hören. Hatten wir bisher auch noch nicht.

Danach geht es zum Mausoleum von Kaiser Tu Doc. Das Mausoleum selbst wird leider gerade restauriert, aber die weitläufige, sehr grüne Anlage besteht noch aus weiteren Tempeln und Grabmälern. Hier hat sich jemand ein schönes Denkmal für die Ewigkeit gesetzt. Heute scheint übrigens mal ganztägig die Sonne. Dementsprechend heiß ist es auch. Und nach 3 Stunden Sightseeingtour reicht es dann auch für heute. Den Rest des Tages verbringen wir am Pool und am späten Nachmittag wird schon wieder gepackt, denn morgen geht es mit dem Zug über den Wolkenpass weiter nach Da Nang und dann zum ersten Strand in diesem Urlaub nach Hoi An.

Da es jetzt noch gut ein Jahr bis zu den nächsten Sommerferien ist, wird es Zeit, einen Teil unserer gesammelten Meilen für einen Flug in der Business Class rauszuhauen. Online ist nur sporadisch was zu finden, daher versuche ich es am Abend telefonisch. Sieben Personen auf einem Flug unterzubringen ist eigentlich utopisch, da die Plätze mit Meilenverfügbarkeiten auf 2-3 pro Flug begrenzt sind. Daher versuche ich es auch erstmal mit 4 Plätzen nach Bangkok, was zum Glück kein Problem ist. Dann geht es mit den nächsten 3 Personen weiter. Da wir beim Reiseziel auch flexibel sind, findet die gute Dame aber tatsächlich 7 Plätze von Frankfurt nach Singapur. Das ist schon mal richtig top. Als Kirsche auf der Torte sind auch noch 7 Plätze im Zubringerflug von Düsseldorf nach Frankfurt frei. Der Startschuss für die nächsten Sommerferien ist also gegeben. So hat sich das Meilensammeln für alle erstmal gelohnt und wir können den Hinflug zusammen in der Business Class genießen. Den Rückflug können wir dann erst in 4-5 Wochen buchen. Wahrscheinlich dann nicht zusammen auf einem Flug, aber wer weiß…

One of the funniest things about Demencia is she isn’t like a shy schoolgirl with a crush- she owns that shit and she’s so real for that. Friend or not, you can’t even embarrass her with an “oooo you like-like Black Hat” because? THAT SAID, if you ever have a crush on anyone (besides BH) she’ll take *every* opportunity to dunk on them and you. You pull up a picture of some guy you swiped right on, you will absolutely be fighting for your life as she picks him apart piece by piece.

If you’re working with him in the laboratory and she pops in for a visit, you better be prepared to chuck something in her general direction unless you want the doc to see her making kissy faces and crude gestures behind his back.

But she’s still your friend, and has no problem gathering “intel” on him, especially if you don’t believe her when she says he might just feel the same way about you.

Her? Meddling??? Never. How dare you. Baseless accusations…okay so MAYBE she went rooting through his drawers and found one of 505’s drawings hidden away depicting the bear, Flug and you. She knows he usually labels the doctor as “DAD”, but there’s another arrow pointing to you as well reading “MOM”/“PAPA”.

She left everything as she found it, but not before snapping a picture with her phone.
