The Dagda
The Dagda (also Daghda, Daghdha, Dagdae, or Dagda Mór), usually written with the definite article, is one of the most important gods in Irish-Celtic mythology. He appears as a multi-talented warrior-leader of the Tuatha Dé Dannan, invaders of ancient Ireland who win a battle against the resident Fir Bolg. Another battle follows, this time against the seafaring Fomorians, and again the Tuatha Dé Dannan are victorious. It is the Fomorians who set the Dagda his famous challenge of eating a huge amount of porridge from his own magical cauldron. With his mighty club, inexhaustible cauldron, and great talent playing the harp, the Dagda was a universal god in Irish mythology considered to dwell in many places, including at Newgrange. As his warrior character, the Dagda is killed by Caitlín, queen of the Fomorians.
Names
Dagda means the 'good god' and the name often appears with a variety of spellings. The sense of 'good' in this context is 'many-skilled' as the Dagda was considered a master craftsman, warrior, magician and ruler. The god may also be referred to as Eochaid Ollathair, meaning 'father of all' or 'mighty father', Ruad Rofhessa, meaning 'lord of great knowledge', or Deirgderc, 'red eye' (referring to the sun). Although recognised by scholars as an important early Irish-Celtic deity, his precise significance is not known. Some have identified him as a sky god and ancestor deity similar to Cronus in Greek mythology. In any case, it is thought that these ancient Celtic gods were not specifically a focus of religious rituals in their particular honour. In contrast, his character as a divine warrior is better represented and seen in the mythological tales of early Irish history which were first written down from around the 8th century CE onwards.
We do know that in the religion of the ancient Celts the Dagda was a prominent figure in the festival of Samhain (aka Samain) which, on 1 November and including the evening of the 31st, celebrated the end of the old year and the beginning of the new. This was also a time when the spirits of the Otherworld could be best contacted. If the Dagda and the war goddess the Mórrigan, sometimes known as the 'queen of demons', came together at this time, then their sexual union would guarantee the fertility and prosperity of the tribe and its harvests and livestock in the coming year. The Dagda was also thought to have had intercourse with two other goddesses during Samhain, these are Boand (aka Boann, goddess of the Boyne River) and Indech (daughter of a renowned warrior of the same name). For this reason, in Gaelic oral traditions in Ireland and Scotland, Samhain was considered the most auspicious time to become pregnant.

As a baby, Brigid drank the milk of a sacred cow that came from the spirit world. Thus making her the half sister of Cermait, Aengus, Midir and Bodb Derg.
Worshippers sometimes call Brigid the “Triple Goddess” for her fires of the hearth, inspiration, and the forge. She is a powerful being and through her fires, she is the patroness of healing arts, fertility, poetry, music, prophecy, agriculture, and smith-craft. Brigid adored her worshippers, she always found herself walking among them giving them all she had and helping them. Due to her compassionate nature, the story about Saint Brigit was born being only one of the pagan gods to be converted into christian story. It was sad that people were turned away from the celtic gods & goddesses yet her story managed to endure the test of time.
There was a time when she was married to Bres, he was the king of the Tuatha Dé Danann, He was an unpopular king, and favored his Fomorian kin ( Their traditional rivals are the Fomorians who seem to represent the harmful or destructive powers of nature ). Their marriage was to build relations between the Tuatha Dé Danann & Fomorian, she was blinded by the love for him as Bres is beautiful to behold, yet harsh and inhospitable and their child Ruadan who was later was slain while fighting for the Fomorians while trying to assassinate Goibniu. Bríg invents keening, a combination of weeping and singing, while mourning for her son. She truly hates war of any kind it always brings her so much pain and sorrow due to being a mother once before then losing a son.
The goddess vowed never to raise another child again and let them be raised by their human parents instead as she would rather not mourn over another one of her children’s death once again. Like every other deity they would let demi-gods blossom by themselves or human father praying that they are kind to them. It quickly came to Brigid’s attention that she should live her life the way she wanted it, she leaned into what she enjoys becoming carefree as buried down about mistakes in the past and doing things for herself for once.
Now the goddess with bright orange wild hair tends to wander around Mount Phoenix doing whatever she feels like, as a freelancer she ends up doing odd jobs at her own leisure. There are various skills she can offer to lend a helping hand, from fixing broken objects to some self defense classes. Brigid does like to volunteer at the Asclepius General offering kind supportive words to the patients there. Maybe in Mount Phoenix she can finally be at peace, not worry about politics or war.

The Fomori
The Fomorians or Fomori are a race of hostile, monstrous supernatural beings, an enemy to the people of Ireland and the Tuatha Dé Danann, the tribe of gods. They dwell under the domain of mankind, in the sea and nether regions of the earth.
Most of the Fomori have been destroyed during the Battle of Mag Tu, with the greatest of their forces too powerful to completely obliterate were sealed. The World, however, keeps its balance with little regard for good or evil, allowing the lesser of this race to be reborn and work together (as much as their nature would allow them) to free their leaders, foremost of which is Balor the Flashing One, and finally take over the Overworld that once was theirs before the gods came.
APPEARANCE
There is no one word to unify the appearance of Fomori - for they come in all shapes and forms. Some bear the head of an animal atop a human body, or a strange amalgamation of a man's limbs, or a ball of flesh and eyes, while some are said to be beautiful, lithe, and graceful.
ABILITIES
Just as their appearances, the Fomori's abilities are diverse and varied, and not all of them dark. It was said that before the age of gods and mankind, the Fomori dwelled on land, and are very much linked to the powers of fertility. When they were evicted by the gods, their powers turned into darkness, leaning to destruction in place of creation so much that their coming to the lands of men are not only heralded by calamities but are calamities themselves. They possess enhanced strength, endurance, durability, and heightened healing factor, on par with the Tuatha Dé Danann. An example of a unique ability include creation of illusory domains that slowly drain their prey of life energy.
These powers have decreased in their years of imprisonment, weakened by the spirit seal of the Eternal Flame. Upon reemerging from the gaps of this bond, they are mere shadows of their former strength, most of them nothing but a shade until they have fed on chaotic energy and dark memories.
BEHAVIOR
Fomori linger in places of chaos, abandonment, wreckage, or nature. Humans, under normal circumstances, could not see Fomori, only feel their presence. Even when possessed by one, they might not realize that is the case unless they become more than a prey to the creature but a vessel. Fomori could also take root and embed themselves in places, imbuing it with its own darkness.
Smaller, weaker Fomori tend to band together. They often act on instincts just as animals would, feral and guided by hunger and need most of the time. Being mostly raw darkness, they can phase through surfaces.
Fomori who are able to gain greater parts of their former strength start to gain a physical form and put other weaker Fomori under their control, utilizing them as their own armies but may also opt to consume these lesser spirits to empower themselves.
Aside from being drawn to chaos and nature, they are also attracted to the divine, desiring to consume such inhuman energy to make themselves stronger.
WEAKNESSES
While human weapons may cause a slight impact on Fomori with physical forms, these implements could not kill them. Only divine weapons, talisman, and counter-curses could do such things.
Marianne is the wielder of the divine flame from the goddess Brigid, and a spirit bow. Apart from being able to control regular flame, the blue flame she could summon is the bane of Fomori.
Note: If your muse is a wielder of any divine implement or power, they can probably harm or even kill Fomori.

ULTRAMagic Alternate Lore 19 - Ellen the Wayward
Previous | First | Next
Master Post
Ellen the Wayward is an unsung hero. Being an immortal thanks to alchemy, she has roamed the Earth for eons, looking to spread knowledge and enlightenment. Having quite the storied history, her escapades have had countless impacts on numerous people across ULTRAMagic Alternate. Her story is too long to tell in its entirety, but certain events stick out amongst the others. From humble beginnings in Ireland to fighting in wars to starting her own company, she has a myriad of tales to tell.
Early history
During the 3rd century in Ireland, a girl was born who would eventually become the individual known as Ellen the Wayward. While we know that Ellen was born on June 1st, 250 AD (thanks to her keeping track of her age and birthday), not much is known about her early life. What we do know is that she was interested in the arcane and spiritualism. It's likely that the arrival of the Tuatha De Danann prompted this. Recovered stories from the time that were not altered by Christianity hint that Ellen and other individuals may have fought alongside the Tuatha against the Fomorians.
What Ellen has told us is that Lugh had inspired her to take up Alchemy. At some point Ellen must have discovered a means of immortality, given her age and how young she looks. While she does not talk about it openly, she does have a Philosopher’s Stone. At around 500 AD, Ellen began to explore Europe and even went into west Asia. At this point, she was a wanderer who imparted knowledge to those who would listen to her. Her presence has been traced from the British isles to Egypt, India, northern Russia, and even as far as Japan.
Around the 12th century, she took up the name of Ellen due to having forgotten her original name. It didn't matter all that much to her given that her journeys and travels were more important. Moving into medieval times, the era of the plague (14th century onwards) was a source of great frustration for her. Time and time again, she tried to tell people that humor theory was wrong and that people needed to quarantine to slow the spread of the black death. Seeing the poor state of Europe after the hundred years war (a conflict attributed to the poor conditions that caused the plague to spread) did not fill her with confidence in humanity’s future.
At some point, a silver haired chaos angel was wandering around and making observations on the plague. Ellen met this angel, who introduced herself as Zozena, going under the name Valentina Pari. Valentina had the idea to unite humanity under one mind and spirit. Naturally Ellen knew this was a bad idea and gave the angel a stern talking to. She would advise Valentina to return to Inferno and really think about what she was proposing. With Valentina out of the way, Ellen could focus on the plague doctors again. The amount of times she had to correct and/or stop them is too high for her to properly recollect.
The Carrickfergus Incident
While not too much happened during the Renaissance period, Ellen was happy to see Europe moving forward. Things were still a little primitive, but the art and general progression of society was a sight to behold. To Ellen's surprise, she was called back to Ireland in 1760. The seven years war had riled up the Fomorians and revealed that Balor Fomorian was not actually dead. The French had invaded Ireland in the battle of Carrickfergus which caught the attention of the king of the Fomorians. Balor viewed the French as “a bunch of pansies” and was not going to take their invasion sitting down.
What followed was Balor seeking any surviving Fomorians and reforming his armies to invade France and begin a conquest of Europe. Balor also wanted to recruit Jorgmungandr to facilitate a bridge to Europe. When Ellen arrived in her homeland, she was greeted by Lugh, Odin, Thor, and Chernobog. Ellen was one of the few surviving non-Tuatha that Lugh knew of and she had a lot of experience under her belt from all of the centuries she had been alive.
The ensuing confrontation involved Thor getting into an arm wrestling match with Balor with Odin being the referee. It is widely believed this altered the surrounding landscape with how fierce the match was. In the meantime, Lugh and Ellen would convince the Fomorians not to invade Europe. Finally, Chernobog would talk to Jorgmungandr since the great serpent was fully aware of what was going on with Balor and the French.
Pursuing Dracula
In the year 1900, Ellen would meet a quirky, Dutch doctor by the name of Abraham Van Helsing. He was an open-minded, philosophical man of science who was hunting down Dracula. Vlad III Dracula was a powerful necromancer at the time who had worked closely with Aleister Crowley. The former voivode had gained more knowledge of Inferno and the Occult from his temporary partnership, born out of Crowley's need for tomes that Vlad had access to. Vlad had been in correspondence with a demon who had given him knowledge of an interesting ritual that could be facilitated by a forlorn goddess from a long lost civilization. This would make Vlad immortal by drinking the blood of humans, ideally sourced from virgins.
Abraham had thought he had dealt with him in the 1890s, but he was wrong. Together with an undead Victor Von Frankentstein and a New York professor by the name of Professor Marcel Matheo Germaine, Abraham was on the hunt. With Ellen's help, they were able to track down Dracula to Romania. Ellen would be pivotal as she was able to cast a spell that would turn the voivode into a tree that would never bore leaves or fruit. Little did they realize that Vlad had a son, Vlad IV Dracul. This boy would go on to call himself Dr. Lucius Wolfgang Faust due to a falling out with his parents, despite them still using his birth name.
World War II
An interesting event occurred during World War II in relation to Ellen, Abe, Abraham, and Victor. Abraham and Victor had recently formed a clandestine organization they called "The League." Their goings on were their own, but they were dedicated to the preservation and protection of humanity. Ellen and Abe had crossed paths with the two in Britain at the height of World War II. Abraham wanted to meet with Ellen to ask her to join The League, but this meeting was interrupted by a German bombing raid.
The four had to scramble to find cover, but that quickly proved impossible. Bombs were going off everywhere and the roar of plane engines thundered above them. Abe surprised everyone when he picked up a Lee-Enfield and started trying to shoot down the Germans with magic enhanced bullets. Even with his magic, the bullets were too small and imprecise. Any further enhancements would cause the bullets to explode. He shot down two planes and damaged five, but the planes would not cease their attacks. The group needed heavy artillery right then and there, something that could pack a punch while protecting them.
Abe went on record cursing the planes, saying "Damn those Germans and their hit and run bullsh_t!!!" Abraham then had an idea. He had learnt of a prototype tank called the TOG 2. It was nearby, but it was also a massive gamble. The designers of the tank had not accounted for the German blitzkriegs and had made the tank slow, bulky, and unbelievably heavy. Since it probably was not being used or attacked, it would have to do. Ellen then cast a spell to warp them to it and back. Before they could take the TOG 2 into battle, they had to make some changes. Ellen and Abe quickly saw what Abraham meant when he had described it.
With Abe's help, Ellen performed a transmutation ritual that made the tank lighter and stronger. With everything all set, everyone hopped in and Ellen warped them back. The Germans seemed to be winding down, so they were not expecting what came next. The now TOG 3 charged up the roads and took aim. Ellen's ritual had also given the tank a revolving tri-barrel, allowing pseudo rapid fire. This is where Abe came in, since he had the reflexes and skill to perform the rapid fire.
The first attempt had Abe fire off three rounds. The first two missed, but the third hit the plane he aimed at. This startled the Germans, causing them to focus on the TOG 3, which was just what the trio needed. Bombs and bullets hammered the tank, but it stood its ground. Abe was easily able to take down six planes before the Germans realized they needed to quit while they were ahead. The TOG 3 took down two more planes while the Germans were retreating.
Naturally the TOG 3 had taken damage and the group were rattled, but that battle got Ellen and Abe's blood pumping. They were going to do whatever they could to screw over the Germans. The TOG 3 made a trek of destruction and vengeance all over Europe, causing various deities to get involved behind the scenes. Ellen also took the opportunity to destroy a handful of German military bases and camps that just so happened to be committing atrocities and war crimes.
Unbeknownst to Ellen at the time, but the tree she had sealed Vlad III Dracula with had been disturbed. The Voivode was back, but this time he had a more noble cause. Ellen had stumbled across him and was hesitant to help him. She changed her mind when Vlad stated he was going to save his love, Fausta, from falling into the hands of the Germans. Ellen was conflicted, but she could not say no to him. She provided whatever help she could, in order to rescue Fausta.
Modern Era
The 20th century was something else as Ellen had grown pretty irritated with humanity after the World Wars. Ellen had been tipping off certain entities during World War II as to what the Germans were doing and set off for the United States of America. It was about time she saw what America was all about. After taking her time to explore and learn all that she could, she began drafting the idea for a company of her own in the 1980s. It would focus on selling goods and services based on the arcane and the occult, aided by Ellen's vast knowledge on the subjects. She had noticed that magic, alchemy, the occult, mysticism, and wiccan beliefs were all over the place in America.
There were signs of mages and sorcerers, but they were few and far between. Ellen figured why not create a company that would allow these people to come together and facilitate their studies? The company, Arcane-Life (called Wicca-Life in some timelines), would form in 1990. Ellen had also run into Valentina again, who had caught wind of what Ellen was doing. The now reigned in chaos angel was a lot more calm and collected than she was in medieval times, so Ellen was happy to work with her. This would lead to the two becoming good friends.
The company was a modest success. It generated enough profit to stay in business and grow over the years. Jumping ahead to 2019, Ellen would catch wind of two people: William and Samantha. Sam was interested in magic and alchemy while Will seemed very familiar to a certain professor Ellen had met back in the early 1900s. On an ending note, there is a company Ellen despises called Herba-Witch. This company is an MLM and Ellen has made it one of her life duties to bury this MLM six-feet under.
About Ellen
Discussing Ellen’s personality is tricky to talk about. Back in her early years, she was an insanely rowdy tomboy. She did not give a hoot that she was a girl, doing what the boys were doing with fervor. Her pre-Ellen years had her very starry-eyed as she had not been fully exposed to Europe yet. Her future travels would end up bringing her back down to Earth. The medieval era had turned her a bit cynical and made her more stoic and reserved. It was not until the incident of 1760 that reignited her fire. This would be pivotal in creating the modern day Ellen.
Ellen is a fun-loving, philosophical intellectual. She is insanely patient and prefers to play the long game, most likely due to her extensive history. She also has a tendency to mother people she takes a liking to. Currently some of her favorites are Samantha and her wolf-spirit Familiar, Brendan. Ellen does not have too many flaws due to being alive for close to 1800 years, but she does have a tendency to get a little testy with people who try to talk down to her. And sometimes she forgets her responsibilities and focuses on her personal interests.
- - - - -
Abe and Lucifuge
It's unclear when Ellen picked up Necromancy, but it is widely agreed that it was most likely during the 12th century. That is when she was first seen with the demon, Abezithibod. Despite having mastered Alchemy, she was not satisfied and felt she needed to learn another type of magic. Necromancy seemed appealing given that she was a bit of a lone wolf due to her hobby.
The two jived as Abe was impressed with Ellen's drive to help and educate people. A fool's errand, but her determination was something he could respect. Normally a new necromancer would have chosen a devil as their summoning partner, but Ellen wanted to challenge herself. Plus there was the fact that archangel Raguel had recommended her to Abe. Necromancy was a little tricky at first, but Ellen got the hang of it with Abe's help.
During the 16th century, Lucifer had caught wind of Ellen's exploits with Abe, thanks to Beelzebub. He was very appreciative of Ellen's mission and felt the urge to help her in some way. Seeing that his right hand demon was a bit bored with nothing to do, Lucifer sent Lucifuge Rofocale to travel with her and Abe. Lucifuge was a bit nervous at first, but Ellen and Abe welcomed him with open arms. And it was a good thing too, as the Plague was really starting to wear on Ellen. This was a welcome change of affairs.
Ellen had been getting a bit more easy going during this time and she found that Lucifuge had a bit of a charm to him. One passionate night later and Ellen was pregnant. Ellen did not intend for this to happen (so she claims) and she needed to stay on the move because of plague flair ups. Lucifuge being the gentleman that he was, agreed to raise the child and take responsibility for them (which endeared him to Ellen even more). The child would come to be known as Heinrik Rofocale (Alternatively: Heinrik of the Black Flame). Ellen still has a massive crush on Lucifuge to this day. Only time will tell if they end up marrying (which given her infatuation with Lucifuge makes it a definite).

Persona World’s Demon Encyclopedia
Persona 1 and 2 do not have a compendium. The closest thing we got in-game are the small blurbs on the Analyze screen in P2... and the closest thing to an actual compendium is the Demon Encyclopedia at the end of Persona World.
I’ve translated some of those entries in the past for the Megaten Wiki, but now I intend to translate everything. That’s right, I’ll translate everything - one entry per day.
So, have this initial dump of profiles I’ve translated in the past few days and see you tomorrow for more! (I’m also posting the translations on twitter, for those interested)
Afanc
A giant beaver monster. It dwells in the Conwy river, which is located to the north of Wales.
It creates whirlpools and drags down those who look into them. Furthermore, the Afanc is strong enough to overpower a group of adult men.
However, it is weak to maidens. By using one as bait, it’s possible to lure Afanc into a trap and capture it.
Archangel
Angels originating from Israel. It is said that they carry out the Lord’s Divine Will.
There are many theories as to what their role is, but the most commonly accepted one is that Archangels hold a high position in Heaven’s hierarchy and are tasked with communicating the Divine Will to humans.
They are said to command nine armies of angels who fight against the armies of demons that try to guide humans down to Hell.
In ancient times, Archangels were considered the topmost position of the divine hierarchy, but during the Middle Ages many classes above them were created --such as the Seraphs and Virtues-- which knocked the Archangels down the list.
Arthur
The main character of the Arthurian Mythos, Arthur was an English hero from the Middle Ages.
It is said he went on expeditions both in and outside the British Isles, all the while accompanied by his loyal Knights of the Round Table.
He won multiple battles with the help of Merlin, his strategist and court mage. After successfully establishing his kingdom, Arthur began to expand its borders, and eventually conquered both Scandinavia and Rome.
According to the legends, Arthur possessed a multitude of weapons, including: the legendary sword Excalibur, the spear Ron, and the shield Prydwen, the latter of which depicts an image of the Virgin Mary.
It is believed that, out of all characters depicted in the Arthurian Mythos, only a few of them actually existed, but even so there is little historical evidence to back up this claim. Those characters are: Arthur, Mordred, Ambrosius, and Aurelianus.
Armaiti
Exemplary goddess from Zoroastrianism. She is a member of the Amesha Spenta, the children of the chief god Ahura Mazda.
Her name means “devotion,” and as such she represents godly and spiritual harmony as well as faith itself. She laments acts of evil and rejoices when those who follow the divine will cultivate the earth or have children.
Aizen Myouou
A Wisdom King of Buddhism born in India.
He rules over human lust and passions, and is also responsible for purging that lust. He’s also worshipped as the guardian deity of shops who work with indigo dye.
Aizen Myouou’s face is always depicting an angry expression, with his three eyes wide open and his hair standing up. His six arms are dyed red with the power of passion.
Aeshma
One of the seven demons of Zoroastrianism and a follower of Angra Mainyu. He rules over wrath and lust, enchanting people into performing evil deeds.
He’s always being pursued by the angel Sraosha. Whenever Aeshma does an evil deed, Sraosha will descend from the heavens to fight him.
Aeshma is also stated to be the archetype of the Christian demon Asmodeus.
Aello
The oldest of the harpy sisters from Greek mythology.
Her name means “storm-swift,” and as it suggests she is a spirit of storms and dust devils. Similarly to her fellow harpies Ocypete and Celaeno, she’s commonly depicted with a human head and a bird’s body.
She’s a servant of the sun god Apollo, and will sometimes carry out divine punishment in his stead.
Red Cloak and Blue Cloak
Spirit that appears in school bathrooms.
It will ask the following question to those who enter the bathroom: “Do you need a red cape? Or do you need a blue cape?”. If a person picks “red” they will become a bloodstained corpse, and if they pick “blue” they will become a corpse whose blood has been completely drained.
Argetlam
From Celtic mythology, this is another name for Nuada, the king of the Thuata De Danann. He has shining golden hair and wields the magic sword Claimh Solais.
He had one of his arms cut off during combat, and was given a silver prosthetic arm by the god of medicine. “Argetlam” means “one with a silver arm” and is from this incident that Nuada gained this second name.
Argetlam was killed in battle by the evil dragon Crom Cruach, which was summoned by the Fomorian king Balor.
Agathion
A general term for incorporeal familiars.
When employed by a magician, Agathion will do anything it is ordered to, from cursing people to household chores. Also, it will disappear in the blink of an eye once it has fulfilled its duty.
Since Agathion has no real form, it takes a different form each time it is summoned, such as a small bird or animal. It can change its size freely, allowing Agathion to hide inside small objects such as bottles, amulets, rings, etc.
Alladin’s genie in the lamp from Arabian Nights can be considered a kind of Agathion.
Agrippa
Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa.
A German alchemist and researcher of witchcraft and secrets who was active during the Renaissance. He wrote On the Vanity of the Sciences and the Arts and was known as the greatest magician of the Middle Ages.
He caught the eye of people by, among many things, arguing in favor of separating magic from demons, combining Kabbalah and Hermeticism together, and also his theories on the structure of the universe. He was also the first one to point out the existence of spiritual power in humans.
Agrippa was born in Cologne, Germany in the year 1486. After graduating from Cologne University, he served under Emperor Maximilian I. For a brief period, he worked as a lecturer in the University of Dole, but was forced to leave under suspicions of being a heretic.
After that, he wandered through many countries such as England and Italy working as a doctor for the nobility, but never managed to stay in one place for too long due to his short temper. He passed away in 1535, in the city of Grenoble.
See you tomorrow for: Azazel.

I actually haven't seen the post everyone is making prompts for but I'll risk asking for Ari and Gann in World of Darkness?
wishes I’ve made are too vicious to tell, everyone knows I am going to hell.
and if it’s true, I’ll go there with you.
Ari is a Changeling, fae reborn in human body. She’s a Sidhe, house Eiluned - magically gifted, but steeped in dark secrets and intrigues, distrusted by other fey.
She runs freehold Crossroad Keep, previously abandoned and desecrated, but with Balefire recently re-kindled. Ari rebuilds it basically from the scratch, but the local Seelie Court still considers it “second-class”, barely better than the ruins and only those who do not care for their reputation stay there.
The freehold is “fronted” with a bar of the same name, also operated under Ari’s command.
Ari refuses to show it, but she’s bothered and offended by the dismissal of her freehold and all effort she put into it. She wants it to thrive and be the center of fey social circles. She is mage of considerable power, so she was given this freehold to keep fomorian forces back, but she is not content with being used as a plug against fomorians, when she wants to be a political player and socialite.
To get edge needed to push her Freehold into position of power, Ari tries to search for an ancient artifact and for that uses ability of House Eiluned to become Unseelie and make dark alliance to get what they want. However, she fails to accomplish it in a day, so she she’s stuck in Unseelie “state” until she can get what she was after.
Ari can’t ask for help other fae because she doesn’t want them to realize she’s fallen into Unseelie way, because coupled with already existing distrust for her House, this will damage her political reputation for the future. So she recruits the help from Gann of Dreams, Dreamspeaker mage.
Damn, I’d love to see this fic\campaign, to be honest. I’d make it a political and existential drama, with Ari struggling to choose between Seelie and Unseelie ways. Seelie court holds more political power, but doesn’t do anything with it, and they are too stuck in the past and traditions. Unseelie court appeals to Ari with their acceptance of change and pragmatic ways, but their ruthlessness often lead to outright detestable deeds. She has to reconcile with both her Seelie and Unseelie legacies and transcend her understanding of her own identity beyond the duality of courts.
And of course there are investigations in the realms of Dreaming, psychedelic travels, worlds of spirits, Gann’s Ascension, and how both him and Ari affect each other, with their different perspectives on both the world and the Dreaming.

more summariesssssssssssss of episodessssssssss
Episode 9: It Was a Good Day
The KC makes a long, muddy journey back to Kings Watch, where they end up at the Kenafiss Lyceum to try and fix Bell from his curse of the Medusa. There they meet Sylvaren Aexidor, the apprentice to Vizain Kenafiss and Rhuelen Kenafiss. Rhuelen preforms a ritual on Bell as well as the two other Sination elves they brought along with them, and it succeeds. Seraphina also gets their nightmare curse lifted by Rhuelen, and discuss what it means to have a Rakshasa out for their blood. Bell and the elves are resting in a coma-like state, while the rest of the party goes shopping. Selxi defends her title, Seraphina and Orna pick up some new threads, and Cik finds Maedis to go on a date. Orna meets up with her older sister, Mirna, to go out to eat. Bell awakes, and the KC along with Maedis in tow (who was rudely awoken after spending a night with Cik) go to see him and translate for the two wood elves. Tears are shed and hugs are had as they all reunite with their cleric, and then they go to talk to the elves. Maedis seems suddenly reluctant to do so, and shares his anxiety with Cik, but goes through with it anyways. The talk with the woman goes fine, but the talk with the man...not so much. He seems angry just at the sight of Maedis for some reason, flying into a rage and nearly trying to attack him. Maedis quickly relays the information to him then storms out of the tower, seemingly not in the best of spirits. After another day spent shopping and relaxing, the KC all wind up at their old favorite the Jagged Hunter, where Bell gets drunk for the first time and dances with Keen and Cik. He attempts to tell a secret to Cik, but its barely understood through his drunken slurring. The gang heads up to bed, all sleeping soundly and in proper beds for the first time in nearly two weeks. When they awake, they will decide their next order of business...
Episode 10: Glow in the Dark
The KC awakes in the Jagged Hunter, then makes their way to the Kenafiss Lyceum to meet up with their new friend Sylvaren Aexidor, and the two newly un-petrified wood elves. They find out the woman's name is Sazan, but don't find out the mans. After a couple days journey travelling through the woods, they arrive back at South Warren to finish what they started. They made their way back to the Rotting Library, unfroze several other of the statues back into their elf forms. They spent the night there, then brought back the currently unconscious elves to their home. Cezall and Klang split off with Sylvaren to escort him back through the Friman Wood back to King's Watch. Meanwhile, the rest of the KC made their way to Ironhaven, where their next contract awaited. Kryanne Torntunnel was their quest-giver, and she told them they were to travel into the Underdark beneath the city, into a section called The Glowing Caverns, to reclaim her ancestral home for her as part of her rite of passage to become heir to her family’s fortune. After some argument, they traveled down below the earth, making their way uncertainly through the dark and meeting an...interesting drow named Rathys, with whom they formed an uneasy and tenuous alliance to use them as a type of guide and source of information on what exactly was taking over the Torntunnel home. On their way further down into the caverns, strange glowing mushrooms began to crop up, and the party began to understand where it got its name. They battled strange lizard entities as well as a black pudding, then moved further down, into a cavern absolutely filled with the glowing mushrooms everywhere. They slept, or attempted to, and the next morning, Rathys informed them exactly what it was they were going to kill: a fomorian, named Ussbar. After some more walking, they came to a sharp downward slope, and Rathys informed them the real fun was just about to begin....

There was a time when she was married to Bres, he was the king of the Tuatha Dé Danann, He was an unpopular king, and favoured his Fomorian kin ( Their traditional rivals are the Fomorians who seem to represent the harmful or destructive powers of nature ).
The goddess vowed never to raise another child again and let them be raised by their human parents instead as she rather not mourn over another one of her children death once again. Despite that not raising them, she wanted help create a home for the demigod and goddesses alike to feel safe from the harsh world. Humans can be so fickle sometimes they love them then other times hate them so safe haven needed to be created. Brig start her own construction company as she work in art to help buildings & architecture using her skills of metal worker and creativity mind to build something great for everyone. Brigit made me the CEO of the business yet she likes to side by side of her workers as they were not slaves but family to her. Thanks to being very well-spoken she was very good gaining contracts elsewhere expanding the business yet Phoenix Construction is the heart of Mount Phoenix. Bet any money that the building you’ll see in Mount Phoenix it was her blood, sweat & tears which help their dream business come true and homes which gods, goddesses and demi-gods alike sleep in their warm beds. Due to the business becoming worldwide success Brig tends to go away on long business trips but Mount Phoenix is her home.
POWERS: Doesn’t really have super amazing abilities like other goddesses yet she is very skilled metal worker which is great when helps on the building sites. She is natural talent in medicine to patch up any injures which the workers may have while building since it is dangerous job. Brigid is natural poet who loves the arts & very creative soul she tends have the ability to talk her way out of anything and it is helpful when trying to close a deal too. Finally, she is well-verse in martial arts she knows how to take someone down without batting eyelid never underestimate her or you could end up regretting it
STRENGTHS: Physical Strong, Very Persuasive, Warm-hearten WEAKNESSES: Naive To A Fault, Carries A Lot Of Guilt which can be used against her, Needs healing herbs & materials to heal someone doesn’t have healing touch like Airmid

MYTHIKA’S ENVIRONMENTS
Where do all the creatures in Mythika live? In what kind of environment are they encountered most? Of course some of these monsters appear on multiple environments (like Bakunawa can be found both in Oceans and in Deep Oceans) but I put every monster with their most common and logical environment.
This list can be handy if you making your own game/world and you need mythological/cryptid/fantasy monsters for your environments!
Sorry for not putting the monsters in alphabetical order, but they are in species-order from:
Ooze -> Dragon -> Humanoid -> Beast -> Chimerae -> Aberration -> Fae -> Construct -> Undead -> Demon -> Plant -> Giant -> Vermin -> Titan -> Elemental -> Angel
Not every environment has its own species though, so it may appear a bit messy.
Let us start
==============================================================
OCEANS
Cirein Croin / Dragon Turtle / Haietlik / Jormungandr / Adaro / Zitiron / Telchine / Akheilos / Caspilly / Echeneis / Gambo / Hippocampus / Ketos / Ziphius / Kun Peng / Charybdis / Lusca / Punga / Scylla / Each Uisge / Caleuche / Bakekujira / Draugr / Isonade / Ghawwas / Umibozu
Each Uisge are the Kelpies of the oceans, they are far more vile though and often hide themselves among the sea-weed forests to stalk prey, they control sea plants and use them to pull sailors from ships.

CREATURES FROM MYTHIKA: F
FACHEN (Scottish Myth)(Aberration/Troll)(Medium)(Best Stat: Speed): Hideous trolls with one leg, one arm, and one eye, they also have three rows of horrid looking fangs. These creatures are said to so ugly and horrid that a mere sight of them stops a heart beating or scares away the soul from a victim’s body, of course this is overrated and while they may paralyze creatures with fright they can’t scare away a man’s soul. They are wild monsters with little intelligence that just want to kill, eat and terrorize other living creatures. Fachen often use ball-n-chain weapons, on which the metal ball is covered in vicious spikes. Their balance is legendary and so is their ability to jump great distances on their one leg, they can hop through rocky mountains without any problems and being chased by these monsters in bumpy or rocky environments is a horrid experience.
FEAR LIATH (Scottish Myth)(Aberration/Sasquatch/Humanoid/Beast)(Large)(Best Stat: Intelligence): Fear Liath are among the most powerful psychic creatures in existence, their telepathy is powerful and they can induce a victim with a terrifying feeling of dread and despair. They love to follow other creatures (especially intelligent creatures) through the high mountains, summoning thick fog to hide their big bodies and troubling their victims sight, then they release their telepathy upon their quarry, turning it insane and making it doubt its own sanity. Fear Liath can stalk victims for days in this way, they love their brains (favorite food) with lots of stress in it, sometimes victims die by frustration or heart attacks instead of from the Liath’s fist and bite attacks.
FLAGA (Medieval European Myth)(Demon/Shapeshifter)(Medium)(Best Stat: Charisma): Flaga are dangerous demons that stalk the world through reflections such as mirrors. They make use of others creatures vanity and feed off their charisma while promising the victims fortune and leadership. After feeding on the charisma of one victim for many weeks they walk out of the mirror and kill the person they want to replace so they can become their perfect reflection. They often do this to very important people such as Kings, leading their entire kingdom into ruin. Victims of the Flaga become extremely vain and selfish and can’t live without the advice of the spirit in the mirror anymore, coming to rely on it entirely, the Flaga often forces the person to kill his/her loved ones first as they will stand in his/her way to power. Flaga are powerful oracles and can look into the past and future of their victims, but most of them also use vile lies and illusions to get what they desire. They have many powerful spells over black glass and their claws (even in human form) are very sharp. Flaga can also create mirror images of themselves if they need to make an escape. Many Flaga serve as assassins for the Sinlord of Pride.
FOMORIAN (Irish Myth)(Giant/Humanoid/Titan)(Gargantuan)(Best Stat: Strength): One of the first Titans created after the Gods and Deities, they soon got themselves banished and cursed for their extreme arrogance and brutality. Their beautiful and perfect features got disfigured and they became reflections of their former glory, horns grew from their heads, armor was melted into their skin and their beautiful white angel-like wings were cut-off. Still surviving to this day the Fomorians want nothing but revenge on the Gods and Deities that cursed them. They destroy everything related with the Gods, good or evil they don’t make a difference. Some Fomorians found a cure for their curse and became beautiful again.
BOSSES:
Fafnir (Norse Myth)(Sinlord of Greed) Far Darrig (Irish Myth)(Lord of Evil Leprechaun and Evil Jokes) Fenrir (Norse Myth)(Father of all Wolves) Fext (Slavic Myth)(Commander of the Undead armies)
FRIENDLY CREATURES:
Fastachee / Faun
OTHER MONSTERS: (I like them but aren’t going to post them)
Faduah / Fear Dorcha / Fear Gorta / Fetch / Fossegrim / Fulad-Zereh / Funa-Yurei
@NOTE: All pictures found on GOOGLE PICTURES, not my own work, and mostly here to give an impression of what the creatures COULD look like.
If you see your own artwork and want it removed, just PM me about and I instantly remove it.
@NOTE 2: While all these creatures come from mythology, I gave my own spin to these creatures, many of these creatures don’t have the powers and abilities I gave them.
