I love her design! Her patches, her bow tie, her playful expression- I love what I did here honestly. I also think she’d pull at her mouth to be like “Smiile!” To her victims like it’s supposed to be some kind of honor.

Aaanyway! I wanted her fit to be more stealthy then Willys but also more fun. I mean you can’t get springlocked in a onesie can you? I forgot to draw where her hood connects to her mask but we can pretend it’s there :))

Hey, guys! 😁👋

Before I begin, I want to apologize. I know I haven't been posting or active a lot lately, things have been pretty tough for me the last two and a half weeks...and I haven't been feeling great lately 😞. I've been under a lot of stress (as per usual 😭), and I got a little under the weather 🤧. Don't worry, though! I'm feeling better now ^^

THE BOYS ARE BAAAAACK!!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳

I feel so bad for making you guys wait so long, whether it's a drawing or a chapter because of my schedule 😩. I know you all enjoy my art, and I know you're eager about when the next chapter will come out. I need a lot of time to edit this one, so I plan on posting Chapter 13 on Friday, March 14th at 11:45 A.M.

Until then, a word of caution.

There's a reason why I'm posting this chapter on the second week of March, and not just because of editing. Chapter 13...is much darker than 1, 7, and 12. I've been very quiet about this part of the story since I joined, but now the time has come to learn the truth about the Twisted Toonz Twins and why they left Chicago that night.

Not only that, but you are about to question everything about reality...and the Tooniverse. And when I say everything, I mean everything.

So when the time comes, I strongly suggest you do the following: grab some comfort snacks, weighted blankets, plushies. Whatever you have, bring all of it. Yes, it's THAT serious. And I'll be honest, I will not be surprised if you guys blow up my DMs or my inbox and ask me some serious questions. I won't blame you.

do you have any tips on how to draw fat as soft as you do? specifically when it comes to shading and rolls and stuff

hmmm, I'm bad at like. putting into words how I do stuff I'd say, just in general like. if an artist does something you like try to replicate it! otherwise, my second big advice is try weird shit! think to yourself 'nah this wont work' and try it anyway! it probably wont work most of the time, but we learn so much when we fail. Something that helps me a lot since im a visual learner is to watch other artists stream!

are you okay with people taking inspiration from your art style?

inspiration yes! I have some mutuals that have taken insp from little aspects of my style (and vice versa) i think "stealing" (AND OSMOSING) is how ive cobbled together my own art style. but the important part is the osmosing and integrating into your own style and not just directly stealing and emulating specifics to look exactly like mine its so scary 😭 my personhood....

i wldnt even mind doing studies or such (as long as credited) as long as u eventually Osmose....dis happened to me a few yrs ago, i took heavy inspo from a creator who approached me abt it and i had to of course apologize and then also explain that i wasnt coming for their personhood, but just exploring for a few drawings (which was true! + they appreciated dis clarification)

every time i try to go easier on rachel and give her the benefit of the doubt, i find shit like this

i was literally just trying to wrap up the hades x thanatos conversation text edit that i've been posting over on my IG and felt like adding a couple extra panels so i went back to this episode (ep 215) to try and find panels of hades and hecate talking that i could segue out of the end part of the hades x thanatos conversation

and i found this

and i was like "oh yeah they visualize the doorbell ringing with a literal bell, i guess that works-"

that bell isn't rendered in rachel's usual style, it's very cell shady with zero texture

but no, no, don't do this puff, you're just being paranoid, it's just a silly little bell, are you really jumping to the conclusion that rachel and her team didn't draw this just because it looks a little off???

just throw it in google reverse image search so you can put this to rest and prove to yourself that it is, in fact, just a drawing of a bell, i don't need to be reading too much into it-
