i can't stop thinking about dad xenophilius, left alone in the world with a little girl, who suddenly realizes that, to give her a perfect future, he should welcome her in his confusion but at the same time find a way to give her the order that pandora had brought into the house.

he abandons his agitation and his cruel humor, and becomes calmer and more patient, without however losing that madness that luna loves so much. and, scared of making a mistake, he raises her as he knows a little girl would like: in a fairy world. he buys her brightly colored clothes, tells her about the strange creatures he studies, teaches her a few little spells. she puts strawberry hair clips in his hair, and together they have tea with her stuffed animals.

he can't help but wonder if she looks too much like him, if pandora would have taught her to dress and behave differently. he's afraid that luna might forget her.

but, sometimes, he sees her looking at her mother's photos with such curiosity that xenophilius' heart melts. and she never cut her hair. it must mean something.
