Regularly streams with or talks about chatting to bigger creators. She talks about working and chatting with Martyn and Grian a lot. She streams with Apokuno and 4CVIT who are in no shape or form small creators. One of them is one lifesteal and both were on rats smp season 2 (final just happened)

Speaking of rats smp, she made a voice cameo.

There’s an offical cherrifire ao3 tag, I’m talking that’s it’s a not a non canon tag that can be looped in with other things, it’s her own offical character tag and as of typing this there are 12 offical fics with Cherrifire in it.

Hell most of the artimator guys have an offical ao3 character tags so if the mods ever feel like branching out to collect more cc! tags for this blog, I can give you more names lmao.

I’ve also seen people use Cherrifire in life series au’s where she’s a character with history with Martyn cause they’re a boss and worker relationship. How often to you grab a tumblr user and say “yeah we’re not friends but you’re gonna be in my au as a character”

Cherri gets lots of fanart outside of artfight season. For context, artfight is only in July, if you’re gifted art outside of artfight and quite regularly, then you are very well liked and popular. Your average tumblr user does not receive fanart of their sona, not au’s they made, sona.

She’s been more minecraft events and smps after mcc rising 3, clearly noxcrew did their job and had a spotlight on creators (even though Cherri was already well known by this point, go back to the sona fanart and working for life series creators for those points)

Has a character ai of her sona. Not just her mlp au or tma au of the life series players. No, Cherrifire the creator has a character ai made of her without her permission. How many tumblr users do you think had a character ai made of them and it was done by a complete stranger?

They’re shipped with Martyn and I saw that not on this blog or another confession blog. Yet again, how often do other tumblr users ship you with real people especially your boss? It’s not a common occurrence.

Regularly streams enough that they can make money, had a subathon, has a lot of emote slots to use and has 10K followers on twitch alone. I remember seeing Elainaexe around 10K and she’s grown big enough to be well very well known in mcc now, Cherri will grow like that.

It was brought up and I researched it but yeah, Cherri is making merch. Now is that merch of Martyn or herself? I can’t tell, but still, making merch is not an easy feat to have an audience who wants merch from you. It’s a bold move to make.

Cherri is the new crumb cuptoast. A popular artist makes fanart and animations for popular minecraft creators, they become friends with those creators, do events and now streams with a solid audience. Crumb is also known on tumblr with their own art blog. If Crumb can be talked about here, then Cherri can too.

That’s all of my main points on why Cherri shouldn’t be a censored name and well she isn’t now! But I will tell the pearl clutches why it’s not that big of a deal.

Do you really think Cherri who already sees posts of people bitching and complaining about her and their friends is going to sit here and look through this blog? I follow a lot of the big artists and many of them said that they blocked confession blogs since vague posting is allowed. They already seen hate and will continue to get hate. Hell Cherri probably has people in their inbox sending mean shit. This one blog won’t stop people being fucking pricks to Cherri, they already are.

And how do you know if people are only gonna complain about them on here? Not everyone who makes an ask about Grian or Jimmy are full of hate. They’re horny as well, they want to talk about how much they appreciate creators but are too shy, they want to make memes like “I want to shake Etho in a glass jar and kick him off a cliff”. Yeah there will be nasty anons talking shit, but Cherri has seen public tumblr accounts talk shit, this blog ain’t doing much besides giving her one blog to block and not a bunch.

And that’s just in here! Who’s to say what Twitter or reddit has to say as well, they don’t have a confession blog system, people can be cunts on their main accounts or on bunners.

I do understand the worry because she’s a popular and well known user on here but you guys have to accept that she’s not just a little fanartist anymore, unless she stops streaming, Cherri is joining the ranks of content creator and has to grow thick skin if they haven’t already. If that means blocking this blog then well that’s what she’ll have to do, same with any other person that doesn’t like confession blogs.

Tdlr: Cherrifire is not your average tumblr user anymore as they do content creation, interact regularly with creators that aren’t her bosses and they have things made for them that the average tumblr user does not have such as a canon ao3, character ai and fanart of their sona outside of artfight season.

Why is everyone saying that you're 15 years old all of a sudden

there's a minecraft youtuber/streamer whose @ is cuptoast, is 16, goes by the name "crumb", and also draws mspaint-lookin cats. she has a cat persona that is referred to as "cat crumb" (it's a naming convention - there's also a "box crumb"). she hangs out with many of what i think are the big minecraft youtubers. i personally don't know anything about minecraft youtubers due to being 24 years old, but she seems very sweet! i have no beef with her. whenever i think of her, i worry for her being a 16 year old girl with a huge online following. but i am not her.

i started this blog in dec 2019 (daily posts started 1/24/20!). don't really know when she started her thing, but i first heard of her in spring 2021. our cat doodle styles are pretty visually distinct, and i have no intention in trying my hand at being a minecraft youtuber, so i don't think there's any issue.

i make a point to not care too much about what teens online are up to, as long as they’re trying to stay safe. not my business. that’s teen business. and it’s always gonna be happening with the current batch of teens. move along

Analyzing Crumb’s Animations!

Crumb’s animations are incredibly well made artistically, and as an overarching storyline has appeared, I figured it would be cool to make a masterpost of the themes and characters so far! So here’s part 1!

I’m gonna be creating these things character-by-character, cause there’s a lot of ways to interpret the story and its slightly different depending on the perspective you choose. Also, obligatory this is story analysis, all subjective no right answers this is just what i think. None of this is meant to be hypothesizing on crumb’s personal life, problems or mental state, this is a story that is being told to us, and i will treat it as such. To avoid confusion, I will be referring to the four characters featured throughout the story-based animations by the following names:

The Homies, Left to right: Voidcrumb, Boxcrumb, Anthrocrumb, and Catcrumb. The names are mine and unnofficial. Screenshot taken from crumb’s livestream. 

Good? Good. Let’s get into Boxcrumb’s story. (I recommend you watch the animations as you go along if you haven’t already)

Technically, the first Boxcrumb animation is It’s Alright, published on Sept 15, 2020. I don’t consider it super relevant to the current ongoing storyline or canon (boxcrumb’s blood colour has since changed, and the weird shadow boxcrumb hasn’t appeared since,) but it identifies the themes that will carry on for the rest of box’s story. Themes of identity, the pressures of social media, and inner conflict represented through different variations of Crumb.

Next up on the list is Pad Thai, uploaded may 8th, 2021. I consider it to be a more advanced version of Its Alright, both artistically and thematically. At a glance, the story is very similar. Social media and pressure of being a content creator and having eyes on you scary. But there’s two more aspects that are gonna be carried forward. One, Boxcrumb sees catcrumb- the little calico cat mascot character, featured in most of the other animations (we’ll talk more about her in a later post) - as terrifying. Huge and scary and a part of social media’s overwhelming scrutiny on her.

Secondly, it establishes Boxcrumb’s primary goal: TURN OFF THE NOISE. Boxcrumb is overwhelmed, and wants this all to stop.

Can you see where this is going yet?

The next animation that heavily features Box is called i hate you, published on september 19, 2021. It’s by my favourite animation that Crumb’s made. Watch it if you haven’t already. In it, boxcrumb is finally overwhelmed, by loss of her social life, constant pressure from herself, and an inability to appreciate the things she once found beautiful. So she rips a polaroid of catcrumb in half, which in turn rips catcrumb in half, which in turn rips boxcrumb in half, which in turn releases a nightmare eye-horror goop monster which might actually just be another crumb variation(?)

There’s a lot to unpack.

The polaroid. As far as Boxcrumb’s story is concerned, what Catcrumb is is a representation of Crumb Cuptoast as a brand. Presents to an audience, has no deeper feelings or fears, is a funny quirky entertainer that does not exist in the real world. Destroying catcrumb was a move intended to destroy Crumb the brand. Return to the way things were before, where boxcrumb could go outside without needing to wear the box or worry about catcrumb figuratively following her around.

So Box box rips the polaroid in half, but it also destroys her. Whatever distinction there was between Boxcrumb and Catcrumb has been lost. Destroying the “brand” would also destroy boxcrumb. Boxcrumb is fundamentally an element of the cuptoast brand. A more raw, emotional one, one that plays at sincerity, but one does not exist without the other. They’re both products. It would have to be something completely unrecognizable to the audience. It’s the internal identity crisis and interestingly meta take about how even the most authentic version of yourself you can try to put out online is still just another mask.

So if you take away the “brand,” what, or who, is left? Well, Void will be getting her own post.

As of the latest animation, boxstill hasn’t recovered from the events of i hate you, and is either distant and/or fading from the group.
