warnings: we’re back in the fluff zone! I made up my own holiday, and with all the planets in the Republic, it feels like I can get a pass for that. I attempted to proofread but my brain is fried, pls gimme grace 😅

Tup didn’t have much, if any, dating experience to compare it to, but he knew that he felt different with you. Like the claws of war couldn’t take him under as long as you were there. Like there was a future where the two of you could have the sort of life in the sweet stories you read to him off of your holopad.

Every moment with you felt like a gift, so when you told him you were nearing a holiday on your home world where friends exchanged gifts and treats, he knew he had to find the perfect gift. Searching was difficult because troopers didn’t have a lot of free time, and what little Tup had was spent with you. Worried he’d blow the whole surprise, he enlisted Jesse and Fives to keep you busy.

“And you need me to do this now?” you asked, looking at the pair of ARC troopers in front of you like they each had two heads.

“Yes, we need a neutral third party, and here you are,” Jesse said looking hopeful for a yes.

“It’s just sparring though. What’s the score for?” you asked.

“It helps Rex in our quarterly assessments,” Fives said grinning.

“Quarterly assessments?” Your eyes narrowed.

They both nodded, and began to drag you towards the training room.

“Listen, boys, it’s not that I don’t want to help, it’s just that I haven’t seen Tup in like 3 days, and I miss him, so…” you trailed off. The neediness in your voice made both of them feel guilty for lying, but confident that you’d appreciate whatever Tup presented you with.

“Rex has him and Kix doing something or another, so you can help while he’s out,” Jesse said.

“Fine, fine, I’ll help,” you conceded, so they’d stop tugging you along. They were awful liars, and you didn’t buy it for a second, but you were curious about their endgame.

Kix and Tup were scouring the lower levels of Coruscant for something special for you. Despite each of them having deep wells of patience, they were both growing frustrated. Tup was frustrated with the search, Kix was frustrated with Tup.

“It just has to be perfect,” Tup said frowning as he passed yet another stall.

“We’ve passed no less than a dozen things she’d love, vod,” Kix replied.

Tup paused and looked at Kix.

“I’ve completely overthought this, haven’t I?”

“It’s understandable. You want it to be special for her, but she just wants you.”

A smile spread across Tup’s face at that, and he suddenly knew exactly what to get you.

Your calendar beeped and you were struck with a wave of homesickness. It was the morning of Wintersbloom back home. That night the Snow Lilies would blossom, and everyone would share gifts and food. Your eyes flitted over to the neatly wrapped gift you’d grabbed for Tup after Jesse and Fives had set you free for the afternoon. You hadn’t gotten to see Tup at all except for passing each other in the corridor as you came to grab food from the mess hall before bed. Seeing his face had given you a boost, but you needed more. You wanted to hold his hand, snuggle up against him. You didn’t even care that you were being needy at this point. You just wanted 10 uninterrupted minutes where you could give him the attention he deserved.

The thought of his face lighting up when he opened his gift quelled the twisting pain in your stomach, and silenced the needy voice in your head, as you forced yourself out of bed. It would be a great night, and if you were lucky, you could kiss him at what would be twilight back home. It was a good omen for a relationship, and in the midst of a war, you needed all the help you could get.

At approximately 1700 hours, Tup walked into the med bay looking excited yet nervous. You brightened instantly at the sight of him. Racing around your desk, you leapt right into his arms. He held you tightly, pressing his face into your neck.

“Hi, mesh’la, can I steal you away for a little while?” he asked.

“I can’t really leave right now, but I got you a Wintersbloom gift!”

“No, no!” Kix said, interrupting you. “You can leave for a little while. I’ll comm you if I need you.”

“I don’t care what anyone says, you’re the best, Kix,” you say grinning, as you put your things.

“Awww thanks…wait, who said otherwise?” He questioned, brow furrowed.

“See ya in a bit!” you said grabbing Tup’s hand, and dragging him towards the exit.

“You’re gonna tell me later,” he shouts at your retreating figures.

Tup lead you to the starboard observation room. You’re surprised it’s empty, as there was almost someone in there relaxing, reading, or napping. The pair of you sat in the window seat facing each other. Your heart raced, as you pulled your gift for him out of your pocket. A small package, wrapped in purple silk, held closed with a silvery cord.

“Mesh’la, what-? It’s so fancy. I hope you didn’t spend too much,” Tup said even more anxious about his present for you.

“Oh stop it, Tup,” you shushed him. “You deserve this and so much more.” You pressed the gift into his hands. You swallow before continuing.

“So back home, what you wrap a gift in is as important as the gift.”

Tup toys with the cord, “So what does purple silk mean?”

“Silk for romance, purple for trust.”

Tup looked up at you then, vulnerable, gentle. Your heart skipped a beat. He was so beautiful, so kind, so yours. He pulled at the cord, and the silk fell away revealing a small box.

He opened the little box, and found a flat, bright blue metal disc with coordinates around the rim.

“That’s where we were when we first met,” you supplied. You bit your lip as you watched him pull off one of his gloves to lift the little disc, and hold it in his hand. He looked up at you once more, and cupped your face with his free hand to bring his lips to yours. The kiss was like Tup. Gentle on the surface, hiding power and passion underneath.

When he pulled away he rested his forehead against yours.

“Thank you, cyare.”

“You’re welcome. I’m so glad you like it.”

He kissed you softly once more before passing you a little box as well. You accepted it with a grin, fingers rubbing over the soft surface before you opened it and lifted out a little tear-shaped pendant. It was made of blue and white plastoid with soft black fabric on the back.

“Is this what I think it is?” You asked, tears prickling at the corners of your eyes. Tup nodded.

“Yeah, it’s bit of my armor. I needed a new pauldron, so I saved a piece of the old one for you, and the fabric is from my blacks. Do you…”

“I love it!” You interrupted, throwing your arms around him. “It’s a little piece of you that I can always keep close. Thank you, Tup.”

“Anything for you, mesh’la.”

“Really? Because I would really love one more thing that only you can give me,” you said scooting closer.

“It’s yours.”

Your watch beeped again.

“A kiss. My people believe a kiss at twilight provides a relationship with good fortune.”

Tup replied by wrapping his arms around you, and kissing you deeply. The ache that had lingered inside you all day began to dissipate, and a warm satisfaction took its place.

this is lowkey my first time requesting something and i’m a lil nervous, so i’m sorry if this doesn’t make sense or something!!!

so, essentially, i have an original species i’ve kinda come up with, who (usually) hide their faces behind these really ornate masks, and only really ever show their actual face as an act of like,,, really, really, uber deep intimacy with another person/people who are very important to them.

i was wondering how the boys, bad batch, delta, along with howzer and gregor would react to their s/o taking their mask off and showing them their actual face for the first time? (also if that’s like, too many characters feel free to take out whoever you want!)

Don't be nervous! Sorry it's taken me a while to get to this one. Your species sounds very interesting! Kinda reminds me of the Death Watch Mandalorians in a way, too. Idk all their rules about removing the helmet when it comes to intimate partners, so I'll use mask/helmet interchangeably for whichever scenario people want to envision.

Rex, Tup, and Howzer get very emotional. It's like seeing a bride come down the aisle for the first time. They'll have a hand over their mouth as they reverently take in their partner's face, trying to commit whatever details they can see through their tears to memory. Then it's gentle touches and embraces from there.

Hunter, Gregor, and Boss are surprised if/when this moment comes. They can't fathom why they should be so worthy. As they realize what their partner's about to do, they'll stop the movement and insist they think about it. After reassurance from their partner this is what they want to do, they'll relax and enjoy the moment.

Jesse, Kix, and Tech would have asked early on in the relationship what the boundaries are, so they know what to expect. They'd be lying if they said seeing their partner's face wasn't important to them. So they'll want assurances up front that it's possible, and then they'll be 100% committed to the relationship. 

Dogma, Fixer, and Crosshair act nonchalant on the outside, but deep down are freaking the fuck out. Does this mean what they think it means? Are they really that trusted, that loved by this person? Impossible. They can't even register the details of their partner's face right away because they're too busy trying to control their emotions.

Cody, Echo, and Sev will allow the moment to happen on their S/O's time. If they're nervous or self-conscious when the moment comes, they'll be quick to rush in with compliments. If they can't bear to have the mask off for too long, they'll help secure it back. They love their S/O no matter what they look like.

Fox, Fives, and Scorch will be so freaking excited for that moment. They'll want to make the moment really special, like put up decorations and bake a cake kind of special. If their partner tries to take off their helmet randomly without warning, they'll push it back on and insist they put a date on the calendar first.

Wolffe, Hardcase, and Wrecker are tempted to reach out and touch their partner's bare face. They hesitate a few inches away, wondering if it's too much for their partner too soon. With encouragement, they'll hold their cheeks, stroke, and eventually start to kiss. They will never grow tired of seeing such a beautiful face.

My rant thoughts on the Our Skyy 2 trailer as someone who has watched all the shows and the original Our Skyy and wants to write down all my thoughts so I can come back to them later and laugh about how stupid I was or be amazed by my own genius..

Warning: I wrote a lot!

I was SO excited when Sia Dai started playing in the very first second! For those who don’t know Sia Dai is the ost of the original Our Skyy and it’s an acapella song by 5 U which slaps. I thought they might use a different song but its nice to have the same one. Plus I’m sure we are going to get more songs overall. With so many singers in the cast I’m going to be surprised if GMMTV doesn’t capitalise on it. And with so many characters who play guitar 🙄 I’m sure there’s going to be plenty of musical scenes. It wouldn’t be a GMMTV show if somebody didn’t pull out a guitar.

The Eclipse I am beyond excited to see Akk and Ayan again. They have taken over my every thought for over half a year now and I’m sure I’ll love whatever I get from Our Skyy. But what the hell is going on. They’re in cowboy hats? masks? The leading theory which I agree with is that Wat is making a film and they are acting for him. While I would have been very happy with AkkAyan being cute with each other for 2 episodes straight, these boys deserve to have a bit of fun. We barely got to see them as just boyfriends, without the pressures from the school. I lowkey don’t give a fuck about Kan and Thua but for the sake of my own enjoyment I will pretend like Thua never did what he did. I wish it was all AkkAyan though, they’re the only ones I care about. It would be cool if we got a discussion between Thua and Akk or Ayan about it since it got rushed over in the show but I don’t think its likely. I want Akk and Ayan to be deliriously happy and in love even if its in the form of cowboy shenanigans. I still hope the earring theory is true although it does look like Ayan is wearing two earrings in the trailer. Thua does get punched in the trailer which made me very happy. Akk’s face at 1:16 is the only thing I’ve been able to think about since I saw it. It is now my pfp. I can’t wait to give GMMTV all my money to buy one of those solstice hats. Luckily my sister was with me for emotional support when the trailer released, I might have cried. They mean so much to me and I’m not sure what I’m going to do when they’re gone.

Bad Buddy I’m so excited to see Pat and Pran again! I don’t actually mind Pat’s hair although I’ve seen a lot of people hating it. I think its hilarious that he stole Korn’s hair and it would be funny af if that was something the characters actually did because they’re bffs not just because of how the actors look. It’s sad theres no InkPa but it would be a disservice to them to just squeeze them in on the side. MilkLove deserve more which is why I hope 23.5 is coming soon. I’ve seen PatPran in the trailer described as sluts and I have to agree. What’s with the finger thing Pat? It was a hell of a jumpscare to see that right after Akk and Ayan’s cute cowboy moment. BUT! I didn’t notice at first but I think Pran is wearing a Nong Nao sleeping mask which is super cute and also definitely a chance for GMMTV to sell more stuff. I look forward to seeing Architecture and Engineering gang shenanigans and I am praying for WaiKorn in whatever form they are willing to give me. That scene of patpran lying on top of each other really reminds me of the ‘do you want to be friends” “do you?” moment from the first Bad Buddy trailer, the poster for which has been my header image from the moment I first knew what Bad Buddy was.

Vice Versa PUEN AND TALAY 😭 FRIEND CREDITS 😭😭😭 I miss friend credits so much but don’t think we are going to get them again. Maybe some version of it with Tup and Tou but it won’t be the same. I hope we get a glimpse of how the characters in the other universe are doing but I also don’t think it’s likely. Puen and Talay were very cute in the trailer. They’re sitting with a kid, could it be their son? a random kid they abducted? They are engaged it would make sense for them to be the couple to get married (if a couple is going to get married). It does look like they’re living together and are still dorks in love. Puen wearing the friend credits shirt and Talay wearing the helmet makes me miss them. I really hope the episodes have colour names like the original show and hopefully the same level of amazing detail as well. It’s what Vice Versa deserves for being GMMTV’s most detailed and underrated show.

My School President When I watched the Our Skyy trailer from GMMTV2023 I was not expecting to care so much about msp. Back then I couldn’t give a fuck about whatever stupid high school show these kids were going to be in. I was a cynic back then, I wasn’t expecting msp to be such a sweet and wonderful breath of fresh air and for Gemini and Fourth to put their all into Tinn and Gun. I’ve been listening to Saliva non-stop recently and all the songs are so good. There were already theories floating around that msp would have a body swap episode but the truth is even cooler. It looks like they’re doing a soul swap, Tinn and Gun, Sound and Win, Tiw and Por and Pat and Yo have swapped actors. The question is how much is going to change, how much of the show are they going to recreate like this? It’s a fun idea, I can understand why msp fans are disappointed though, they don’t really get new content and a lot of people wanted to see them in university. UNLESS! it’s all a misdirect and Tiw is filming something where Tinn plays as Gun ect.. but remembering the OffGun Our Skyy episode when they swapped bodies it would be on brand for GMMTV to some kind of swap in one of the episodes. Also why are they at the NLMG school? I saw a theory say it’s a crossover with Vice Versa and they’re in an alternate universe but I doubt its that intricate. It was probably just easier to film there. Fourth as Tinn in Gun’s dessert shop wearing the glasses is SO cute. I can’t wait to see Fourth do his best at playing our head over heels simp Tinn. And for those thinking the scene at the end of the trailer is going to be a kiss, there is no way that isn’t one of Tinn’s many delusions. I hope we get a bit of TiwPor, they deserved more time in the actual show and I still think if would have been great if they were secretly dating the entire time.

Never Let Me Go These episodes look like they’re going to be very interesting!! It looks like Palm and Neung might travel to the past? They are wearing a lot of interesting clothing and are in interesting locations. You would hope they get a chance to chill out and be regular teens but that’s unlikely. If it is a time travel plot I’m sure it will be a lot of fun. They’ve got brain and brawn and a lot of dedication to each other. Their forehead leaning moment at the end of the trailer is beautiful, I can’t wait to see that scene.

a Boss and a Babe Even if it hasn’t finished yet I already adore Cher and Boss and I’m sure the Our Skyy episode will be as fun and enjoyable as the show. I saw some people theorising that they might get a body swap because there’s a scene of Cher wearing a suit but I think its more likely to be him goofing around. It’s nice to know that even when the show ends there will be some more of them.

Star in My Mind I’m not particularly fond of Star in My Mind, it was cute but kind of boring but seeing adorable established couple Khabkluen and Daonuea in Sky in your Heart was one of my favourite parts of that half of the show so it will be nice to see some more of that. I wonder what will happen with their friends and the vague side couple stuff that seemed to be going on, especially considering that Winny and Satang are quite popular now. I wonder what the situation is with all of their friends yelling at them to kiss, maybe a proposal but they’re still in university so I doubt it. I’m sure it will be cute.

Tale of a Thousand Stars This is the one I’m least excited for, I didn’t really love atots it wasn’t particularly interesting to me. I was disappointed we didn’t get to see Tian’s proper return to the village, using his teaching skills with the kids and seeing how having no/little contact for so long affected their relationship. So hopefully these episodes will provide some of that.

Blabbing about this Musician!au I started last summer that has now also turned into a marching band!au because I got sad and nostalgic because despite how shitty it could be, marching band defined my high school life and social life and I couldn’t had asked for anything else.

I also don’t have every single prequel character (because this au is surrounding the prequel characters) in Star Wars smacked into here, and I gave up halfway through a couple of months ago in terms of brainstorming. Anyways, this is hella long so check everything out under the line if you’d like! don’t want to spam everyone with something that’s like, 4 pages long

Now, you might be asking. What instruments are these characters playing, or what are they doing in marching band? well, boy oh boy do I have some lore for you.

Anakin Skywalker: alright lets start of with the “Chosen One”. Now, I gotta say. He’s got some intense brass vibes, specifically high brass. But I don’t know. He didn’t really mesh well. And given his natural talent with the Force in canon, I thought that Anakin would be a sort of prodigy. And we all know the two instruments associated with that: the piano and violin. He’s more of a piano dude, so here we go! piano prodigy Anakin Skywalker. He also gives mad drumline vibes, and I can see him as either the lead snare, setting the tempo, or the main quad player. He’s brash, slightly obnoxious, but damn is he fucking good at what he does.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: I literally started this AU on the idea that Obi-Wan would play the cello. One of the defining quotes for him is that fucking “infinite sadness” quote. And we all know that cellos play some of the saddest pieces out there. (see: Elgar cello concerto) However, I can’t see him as a marching band dude. He doesn’t really give off color guard vibes (since that’s where most non-band people go to) so I have him as the resident student helper who everyone tolerates because he brings ice cream after band camp.

Ahsoka Tano: Ahsoka is a flute player. As a flute player, I have intimate knowledge on this. She’s like the chill flute player who’s competitive enough to keep her position as principal, but is also chill enough to not have a big ego that butts heads with everyone. She also gives mad color guard vibes. Also speaking about that from personal experience (am I lowkey projecting my own experiences on her? you didn’t hear that from me). She seems like the type to love swing flags and sabre, and is 100% captain by senior year.

I have Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Ahsoka as siblings in this AU because I say so. Qui-Gon is around here somewhere as the resident hippie dad who lowkey smokes pot and will support his children while giving a big ‘fuck you’ to Dooku. 

Yoda’s also in here somewhere, and I love the idea that he’s an old Chinese/Asian man who refuses to speak english and will only do so with the most backwards grammar so his grandchild (Qui-Gon) and great-grandchildren (the trio) are forced to speak Mandarin/Cantonese to him (pick your poison). He just spends his days cutting up fruit and also might pull out his erhu if everyone asks nice enough. (I want to say he was a Peking Opera musician, but immigrated during Mao’s reign after he lost opportunities during the cultural revolution)

So, I know that it doesn’t make sense for a family to have 3 sets of twins and one triplet set, but fuck that I do what I want.

Cody Fett: okay so, Cody 100% plays the french horn. I don’t know, he just, he does. He’s got that air of sophistication because he can play the hardest brass instrument, but at the same time, he’s incredibly good at it and is matter-of-fact about it. He also would be the mello section leader (I was playing with the idea of drum major, but for now, leaving him as a section leader for now). He’s a bit uptight to be a low brass player, but cool enough to still be associated with the general brass group.

Rex Fett: I got Rex and Cody as the eldest Fett twins. Rex feels like a string player, so I have him on violin. I can see him be very hardworking and practicing diligently to the point where he easily sweeps through to concertmaster in high school and the local youth orchestra. He also gives of mad drum major vibes. I can see him copying music, handing out drill charts, and hauling the met around. Also, just think about Rex doing a fancy ass salute at competitions. Yes.

Next round of twins lets gooo

Jesse Fett: You could say Jesse has brass vibes. I see him as a reed person though. In concert band, he’s on clarinet. I used to think clarinets were as stuck up as us flutes but no they’re literally balls of chaotic energy ready to be unleashed. Just imagine Jesse blaming everything on his reed. I see him as the guy who switches to saxophone for marching band, though. He’s got the energy of the clarinet and the saxophone harnessed. Also, wouldn’t be surprised if he knows how to play the sousa.

Kix Fett: Y’know, when I originally made this AU, I had Kix as a musician as well. I’m gonna scratch that. He’s going to medical school, or at least, he’s planning to. He’s on the pre-med track and is dying in organic chemistry and wishes there weren’t so many pre-requisites. However, in high school, he definitely played the oboe. Of course Kix chose one of the hardest instruments to play. Also, just imagine him trying to make his own reeds. I don’t see him as a guy who’s in marching band. He’ll come to competitions and maybe football games if he’s bullied into it. Kix is the guy who’s classes are all AP and he’s dying inside.

Next round of twins yeet:

Fives Fett: shit, I forgot I gave them all real names. If I remember correctly, Fives is Frank. Anyways, trumpet vibes. Need I say more? He’s on the trumpet in marching band as well and he’s the dude who’s obsessed with DCI and always tries to play as high as he possibly can and absolutely demolishes his chops. I would say he’s section leader as well. He also hangs with the drumline at the back of the bus and always plays meme songs on blast and sends weird pictures to people’s phone via open airdrop.

Echo Fett: I think his birth name is Ethan??? I’m spitting thoughts not checking my old documents. Anyways. Echo feels like a string person. Specifically, low strings. So, he plays the bass. Upright bass. Whatever. You get what I mean. He sleeps in the case after school and hates hauling it everywhere. He was in marching band as a mello player (the easiest brass instrument to pick up for the activity so) but he was in a car crash that left him paralyzed from the hip down, and had to quit to recover. He never stopped playing, and found ways to adjust. (I do not know how exactly this would work, since I’m able bodied and also don’t play the bass, but I know he’d at least have a stool to sit on in order to lean his body on. let me know if you have other ideas i’d love to hear them!)

Finally, we got the triplets:

Dogma Fett: Dogma plays the bassoon. He’s a low reed kinda guy and between the bari sax, bass clarinet, and bassoon, he fits the last one the best. He and Kix moan over making reeds and he’s on the quieter side. He just vibes and plays all the low notes and has fun whenever he’s got some moving part. I see Dogma as someone who is only casually into marching band. He uses Jesse’s old student clarinet as his instrument and he’s always on time, knows his sets, and his technique is on point. He always finds himself roped into his brothers’ shenanigans though.

Tup Fett: Tup plays the harp. I like to think he met Shaak Ti (we’ll get to her in a bit) when he was young, and she was playing with an orchestra. He met her backstage and she offered to give him lessons. Tup’s not really a part of high school orchestra but sometimes he’ll be brought in. He’s more involved with solo work and the youth orchestra more than anything. Tup’s another on where I don’t think he’d be into marching band. Though I can see him being in winter guard as the dude who just shows up and is lowkey rip and therefore is a hunk on the rifle. His technique’s good but they’ve never been able to saddle him into fall guard.

Hardcase Fett: (i’ve given up on remembering the birth names so i’m just gonna not) Hardcase is 100% low brass vibes. He can’t be anything but a low brass. I see him as a tuba player. He’s chill, laid back, but also reliable for being the foundation of the band sound. He plays the sousaphone in marching band and always blasts either Seven Nation Army or some other popular show tune right after rehearsals. Hardcase also can play the bari sax and no one knows when he learned how to. 

OKAY we’re done with the Fett’s! Jango and Boba are in here somewhere but honestly I don’t have enough brainpower to come up with what their roles are. Jango’s gonna be a good dad though. Maybe he was a musician and that’s why most of his kids are going into music. Or maybe he’s just a supportive father. Boba’s the youngest though, that’s for sure. And he’s a little shit. Don’t know if he plays an instrument (probably) or what it might be.

Now lets get into some other characters! There’s a lot. And I wasn’t even halfway done with the characters I wanted to include. What the hell was I on last summer?

Padmé Amidala: Padmé is a flute player who quit after freshman year of high school and started taking music production and music theory classes. She loved it so much that she decided that composing was her jam. Now, she’s highly successful and often works with well known pianist, Anakin Skywalker, on piano concertos. Also, she may or may not be dating said pianists but you didn’t hear that from me.

Satine Kryze: twosetters don’t shit on me but Satine feels like she’d play the viola. She and Obi-Obi-Wan definitely dated in high school but after a year broke up on mutual terms and are just good friends now. A lot of people feel like she’d have been a better political science/international studies major than a music major but she’s good so no one complains (until she gets into a fighting match with someone and wins smugly)

Bo-Katan Kryze: shes Satine’s younger sister and is a mad athlete. She doesn’t play any instruments but she’s deeply active and is on scholarship for college, on the pre-med track with Kix. She’s very scary and most people are too intimidated by her to approach.

Plo Koon: I originally had him as an asian man, but I can see Native American as well. He plays the euphonium and he’s just a sweet man. He helps out a lot with private lessons at local high schools and is often brought in to help with low brass during marching band.

Wolffe Koon: Wolffe and Gregor (get to him in a bit) were both adopted by Plo when their parents died when they were very young. Plo was their godfather and he took them in like they were his own. They’re cousins to the Fett brothers (though don’t ask me how I have no idea). Wolffe is an engineer and works close to home.

Gregor Koon: Gregor is Wolffe’s younger brother and had a short stint of musical interest in middle school but quit after he entered high school. Gregor was in a serious car crash during college that left him amnesiac for a year before some of his memories returned. He now owns a restaurant and sticks close to home. Wolffe often comes around to check up on him because his brain injury still impacts his current life in small physical and emotional dips

Kit Fisto: Kit gives off mad trombone vibes and it’s mostly because he seems incredibly laid back. He’s one of those brass players who’s just a nice guy and while jokes around, never got pulled into jokes as a student.

Shaak Ti: like I said above, Shaak Ti is most definitely a harpist. She has that ethereal quality I think is common in harpists. She’s a tall Indian woman and she loves her job! She’s a private lesson teacher and instructor at the conservatory on top of her job in the orchestra since she’s not called in often to play. She loves all her students and gives good hugs.

Mace Windu: Mace is the director of the Jedi Symphony, the orchestra which almost everyone is involved with. He is a bass player and he likes his more classical pieces over contemporary music. He’s good friends with Yoda and sometimes the old troll has to wack some sense into Windu and have him take on newer pieces. Windu 100% gives off unhinged director vibes because mistakes and lazy musicians definitely don’t end after high school/college is over.

Quinlan Vos: this lil shithead definitely is the obnoxious, slightly arrogant, but kind of deserving of that, percussionist. He loves his snare drum and is also in the drumline. He’s the same age as Obi-Wan and the two are close friends. Quinlan is definitely slightly unhinged and is always at the back of the bus causing havoc after competitions. He’s the guy that I (OP) hate but also can’t help but respect cuz yeah he’s annoying but at least he’s good.

Aayla Secura: Aayla is Quinn’s half-sister, and plays the French horn. Again, like Cody, she’s got this air of professionalism that I associate with French horn players and like, we gotta represent the girls in brass somehow. She just fits it really nicely.

I feel like now is the time to list who’s still in conservatory and who isn’t: Obi-Wan, Anakin, Rex, Cody, Jesse, Quinlan, Padmé, and Satine are all recent graduates. Ahsoka, Aayla, Fives, Echo, Tup, Dogma, and Hardcase are still in conservatory (at varying years of course). Kix and Bo are entering med school/frantically applying and banging their heads cuz MCATs. Wolffe and Gregor are older and have been in the field for quite some time now. Plo, Kit, Shaak, and Mace are all faculty/seasoned professionals.

Somehow, I was gonna bring in The Skiratas (with proper research cuz I know very little about them), Dooku, Ventress, the Oppress siblings, rest of Domino Squad, Cut Lawquene, the other CCs, and more. I designated a page out of my sketchbook for this and my oh my the flow chart was hella confusing. How I thought I was gonna handle that in the summer before my first year of college, I have no idea. Maybe I’ll brainstorm more in the future but for now, this is all I have :]]]

Star Wars overall? Finn, back in 2015 when TFA came out and I tried dipping my toes into the fandom, but ended up noping because I had zero inclination to watch the PT or OT and was missing too much context to really get it. When I actually got into the fandom in about 2017ish? Uhhhhh, I wanna say... Rex, probably? I'm pretty sure "A Star to Steer By" is what got me into-into Star Wars and then "Kind, Sober, and Fully Dressed" happened pretty soon after, so. Yeah, I'm going with Rex. Love that funky little captain.

Honestly I used to be pretty cool with Qui-Gon but then I really watched the PT as an adult and found out about what he's like in Legends and it just. Really soured any enjoyment I can get out of the character. He talks like my dad ffs.
