More Don't Play This Game

Props to @pluto-support for realizing the dots on the solution.png were Morse code!

Adding on to their notes, they stated the Morse code of the image creates the letters "EUISAIKOF" which you would then translate upside down as the solution.png is upside (evidenced by the dialogue of the game written in the image upside down) and be given the word "OISIN", supposedly a name.

Now I'm stubborn and no matter how I looked at "EUISAIKOF" upside down I couldn't see "OISIN". But they upside down part had me thinking, what if i flipped the morse code upside down, so it would match the dialogue written in the image? Doing so gives me this

Now translating this we get “LOKINSIDE”

Look inside perhaps? But if so, look inside what? The game isn’t something you install, so there wouldn’t be an installation folder full of secrets you can dive in and manipulate. But if this message doesn’t mean look inside the game, could it mean look inside solution.png?

And here’s where the fun happened.

After figuring “LOKINSIDE” could be referring to the solution.png image, I played around with the idea by opening the image in notepad.

Looks like a bunch of nonsense right? Let’s scroll down a bit...

There it is again. The only thing that we (ironically) can understand. The disembodied voice asking if we can understand them, followed by the almost saddening “Nobody does.” But the last part there is new. “The truth is deeper inside.” Could there be another hidden message even further in this nonsensical text here? And what of those repeating numbers and words? “467767″ and “Listen again.” Is that how many times I’ve listened to the message? Is that how many times I should listen to the message?

I’m amazed I’ve found this much so far.

Heart over Heels is an indie horror series. While hand-drawn, it tells the story of trauma, betrayal, loss, and things that go bump in the night. From a frog witch that you can date, to a crime scene haunted by ghosts of the past. You can be a part of the story by sticking around, engaging, and watching for gore and lore.

Update for Episode 2 :]

So far it's very silly and I am excited to get this out there. My guess is that the episode will be out (HOPEFULLY) in Late July or early August. There is still a lot to do, but I have been making good progress. Hoping The Burnout will not strike me down like it did in June.

Currently, the only things that need to be done are some art, a session with a VA, and some editing. So. Basically a little less of the usual stuff.

The spooks in the episode are gonna be real fun and Im excited about the new art style (For the Out-of-Game bits) Hope ya'll will watch and enjoy it once its out :) - Doodles

Update/ progress log :] Currently, we have about 8 minutes of gameplay edited. I think for EP 2, Sun will get a new sprite, as I am not satisfied with his current one. Moon will get a new sprite in EP 3, which I am excited for. Anyways, Moon and Jack doodle be upon yee.

Im good :D The projects been pretty fun. It's nice working with the VA's, and sharing my thoughts/ brain rotting in the server about what's to come is awesome :]

Hehe update bc I haven't given y'all one in a while. (Bit of a ramble under cut)

A lot of backgrounds and art for episode 2 are finished(YAY YAY YAY YAY!!!)

Me and The VA for The Gamer recorded the needed lines for basically the entire episode, but the app I use to record discord calls decided to go "Oopsie. I did a fucky wucky and now all youw audio is gone ÚwÙ"

We beat it to death with hammers.

Don't know when the episode will come out since it takes a lot of time and I still need to do the animation for it, and I am doing all of that myself. I will try to update the few of you who follow. Have art for compensation :]
