Can I get a fic about kidnapped reader and yandere Chrollo on a road trip of some kind and she’s like “let me get the aux” because let’s face it Chrollo’s taste in music is not gonna be road trip friendly and she’s just like jamming out to like Sexxy Red and Doja Cat and Flo Rida? Like I feel like that’s the complete opposite type of music he would listen to and she’s over there having a whole concert
Yan!Chrollo lucilfer x reader
Warning(s): mild cussing, forced relationship, unhealthy relationship, one sentence is about implied dubcon
A/N: Quick drabble to try and get out of my writing slump. Too lazy to check for errors, sorry pookies.
WC: I honestly dk, I wrote this on my mobile😭
Antithetical
You loathed car rides with Chrollo. His 'work' forced him to travel a lot, meaning road trips that would usually exceed six hours with no rest stops or pee breaks to avoid being spotted by the wrong people.
Only if you were bursting—on the verge of kidney poisoning—would Chrollo force you to do your business in some random bushes alongside the road.
The close proximity of the metal box had you pushing yourself as far as you could against the door—enjoying the cool steel against your boiling skin.
It was well into summer, and even though you only wore a loose T-shirt from Chrollo and way too large gym shorts, your body didn't seem to regulate the heat.
Chrollo, the non-human that he is, didn't seem bothered by the blazing sun in the slightest. Wearing a white shirt neatly tucked into black, wide-legged trousers secured by a just as dark belt.
You could not spot one drop of sweat on his sickly pale skin.
The AC of the car was blasting in your face, helping a great deal to chase away the uncomfortable warmth. The noise it made was loud, but still not loud enough to overpower the radio.
Chrollo was a control freak through in through. You were used to it by now, but you hadn't expected it to extend all the way to what music was playing in the car.
Car rides with Chrollo were already unbearable. He was a macho driver, thinking you would fall head over heels if he parked with one hand, but even though he tried to look tough, he drove like a grandma—he didn't want any attention, getting pulled over or driving too noticeable could mess up his plans. He also had the need to have one hand rest on your thigh for the whole entirety of the ride, be it five minutes or fifteen hours. He loved prodding at your mind in these long hours; asking you deep and personal questions that would have you reeling by the end of the drive.
But the one thing that icked you the most was his taste in music.
These rides could be long—this one a nice thirteen hours from the last place he kept you—and sleeping could only cover half, if not less. You needed a distraction from the man next to you and his tongue; blasting some good tunes for example.
Für Elise wasn't one of those tunes.
Chrollo had a thing for classical music; befitting his dark academia style as he also loved to read older literature and collect antiques.
And you didn't mind it most of the time—you had to admit that some songs were enjoyable to listen to.
But not for thirteen hours on end.
With one-fourth of the journey done, no desire to sleep, and Chrollo humming along to his playlist, you finally had enough.
"Chrollo, can I have the aux?" You asked, head slightly turning to look at the raven haired man while still holding your place in front of the AC.
You had asked Chrollo this question multiple times, but he always found a way to go around it.
Chrollo squeezed your thigh, making you press yourself further against the door.
His eyes remained focused on the road, but his grin was a tell-tale sign that this was going to be a mind war again.
"And why do you want that?" He replied, turning the radio down a tat to hear you better.
You sighed.
"Because we've been listening to your music since the beginning of the trip." You sat up straight when Chrollo started nodding along with your words.
"Okay, but this music is relaxing. It doesn't distract me from the traffic around me. You don't want us to end up in an accident, no?" He said, sparing you a quick glance.
You pursed your lips.
It was hard to pinpoint where he used manipulation tactics exactly in your conversations.
You were able to pick it up rather quickly now, though.
You turned to him, lips in a thin line.
"Chrollo, this is torturing my ears." You pointed at the radio to emphasize your meaning.
He laughed.
"Don't be dramatic."
"Says you."
"Excuse me?"
"You're excused"
You gave him a sharp glare as he lightly rolled his eyes.
You had to give him a challenge of sorts. You knew he liked the thrill of those—the need to prove that he is capable of overcoming anything in his way.
"You're so dramatic about other people's music tastes. You hate listening to anything other than your own playlist. You don't even know other music genres," you started, crossing your arms over your chest and slumping in the passenger's seat.
As you were about to speak again, Chrollo interjected.
"Rock, Indie, metal, pop, electronic, blues, jazz—should I continue?"
He smiled as he faced you for a second before looking at the road again.
"Nice try, love, but implying that I don't know something is a dead give away of your schemes." Chrollo mused, patting your thigh.
He was mocking you, he saw right through your plan. You were stupid to think you could outwit him.
One day though.
One day you will.
You grumbled before slumping back in your seat, craning your neck to meet the frigid wind of the airconditioner.
The car was silent now except for the violins harmonizing on the radio. You were mere seconds away from taking the wheel and crashing the vehicle just for a few seconds of peace.
Chrollo sighed. You perked up at this. He wasn't too keen on already having you on edge this early in the trip. Every time that happened, you two would fight every day because you were petty like that.
He hands you his phone. You slowly take it with a quirked brow as your straighten your back.
"Fine, go ahead then."
You peer at him, suspicion running high.
"This isn't a trick?"
"No."
"I'm not getting in trouble if I change the music?"
"No."
"I don't have to give you a blow job while you're driving if I do this?"
"If you insist—"
You push the phone his way. Chrollo laughs before throwing you a wink. He nudges the device back with his shoulder.
"There are no catches here. I swear. Play your music."
You throw him uncertain glances as you open the music app; one of the only apps it had. He had bought this phone with you in mind. Shalnark modified it, so only Chrollo's number was on it, and no other numbers could be dialed. It also contained a few games. Like uno, you played that online with a few of the other phantom members. It kept you sane when you were locked in and alone for days on end.
You scrolled through your playlists, Chrollo only had one, and that was the 'liked songs' album.
The corners of your lips quirked upwards as you clicked your 'God better not see this one' list.
You could only feel a little victorious as you watched Chrollo's face sour when boss bitch by Doja Cat blasts from the radio.
You scream the lyrics in his face as you start moving your arms with the rhythm of the music.
It felt so good to just jam out to your songs for once. You ignored the pointed look of Chrollo when the next number that came on was CPR by CupcakKe.
A twinge of happiness tugged at your heart as you realized Chrollo would suffer a hundred times more in these few hours than you did and probably will do in all the carrides that have and will happen.
At least that was what you thought, but as you were about to bellow 'I save dick by giving it CPR' in your kidnapper's ear, he was looking at you with this love sick expression.
Eyes twinkly, stupidly handsome smile on his face and a total lack of concentration of his surroundings.
You felt your stomach lurch, and without a second thought, you put on the four seasons by vivaldi; almost breaking the screen in process.
You dropped the phone on your lap and crossed your arms. Your good mood only lasted three seconds before Chrollo decided to throw acid over it.
He gave you a quick peck on the cheek before returning his eyes to the road.
You felt stupid for buying his lies once again.
"You planned that, didn't you." It was more a statement than a question that came out of your mouth as you pushed your back against the cardoor.
Chrollo hummed as his hand found your thigh again, continuing his finger tapping along with the music.
You huff.
That was all you could do in response to him.
One thing was for certain: you would never play your music again, even if Chrollo begged you to.

seventeen’s vocal unit when their s/o falls asleep on them
author’s note: this was requested under the hiphop unit version of this fic by multiple people
synopsis: what the title says
word count: 1.0k | genre: pure fluff | pairings: vocal unit x gn! reader | warnings: mentions of food, wine and nightmares
you were having a picnic with jeonghan in the nature, blanket draped onto the bright green grass, the leftovers of food and empty glasses of juice from your basket sitting on the side, music quietly playing in the background as the two of you laid across the soft material, your head on his arm. a yawn escaped your lips when the pleasant breeze started to hit just perfectly to make you sleepy in the afternoon, being full after the delicious meal. “are you sleepy, angel?” jeonghan asked softly, stopping from humming along the melody. you let out a content hum, snuggling closer to his side. “alright, why don’t we take a nap? i think we deserve it.” he offered, not even needing an answer after he turned towards your form, seeing your closed eyes, smiling softly while already in dreamland. “that was fast.” he chuckled, adjusting his arm so you would be more comfortable. “see you in my dreams, angel.”
joshua was driving the two of you back to your apartment after a date night; you had a wonderful time eating dinner at a fancy restaurant, drinking wine and talking a lot about various topics in life, including how you wanted to buy a dog. “back to the pets, a golden retriver would be such a good choice, now that we were talking about it i got kind of excited.” he made conversation again while looking at the road carefully and slowing down a bit, the rain outside intensifying. you hummed sleepily, the exquisite food and the drinks making you full and the heater being on in the car providing a comfortable warmth, surrounding your body like a blanket. “wow the rain really isn’t stopping, huh? it will be so good to be at home, i know you like this weather, right darling?” he looked at you at the red light only to be met with your sleeping form, slumped to the side, almost sleeping on his shoulder, your hold on his leg loosening. “aww, you look adorable, oh my god.” he whispered, leaning across and kissing your forehead. “i love you so much.”
the train was hurrying towards your destination quickly as woozi sat next to you, his hand in yours while you watched the beautiful scenery, half of his earphones in your ear, listening to your favoutire podcast together. the ride stopped at the next location, allowing passangers to exit and step into the train, making so much noise woozi barely heard the voices coming out of the headphones. “do you mind if i turn the volume up a little? i cannot hear it well.” he asked casually, waiting for your nod of agreement. when you seemed to be unresponsive he thought you couldn’t hear him, so he grabbed the little device lightly and took it out of your ear. “i said, do you mind if i turn up the volume?” he chuckled, trying to search for your eyes to get your attention. what he found made the reason why you didn’t reply to him crystal clear; you dozed off, the podcast and the scenery long fogotten. “this explains everything.” he smiled fondly, leaning in to place a ghostly kiss on your cheek. “looks like i gotta tell you the rest of the episode later.”
it was very late in the evening, you had just woken up with a silent scream, making dk shoot up in bed next to you aswell, him immediately knowing it was one of those nights again. “nightmares, sunshine?” he asked curtly, already knowing his guess was right; sometimes you were so stressed with work you got nightmares in the middle of the night, only his voice being able to calm you down and putting you at ease again. he pulled the covers onto your shoulders, hugging you tightly, tilting the two of you a bit so you flopped on top of him, inviting you to join him for some cuddles, which you did. he held out his arms for you to climb into, going through the all too familiar process one more time. “so, which song would you like to hear tonight?” he quizzed while giggling a bit, granting your wish upon your quiet and barely audible reply, singing the usual comforting melody softly, ready to lull you to sleep. after a few minutes he peeked down at you, seeing exactly what he was expecting; your face mushed into his chest, quiet huffs of air escaping along with your even breathing, no distress visible on your face anymore. he stroked your head, giving it a soft kiss. “sleep well sunshine, i will look after you in the meantime.”
seungkwan was just stepping into the house upon arriving from his morning run, searching after you since you promised you wouldn’t fall back to sleep and have breakfast with him after he took a shower. “babyboo i’m here!” he called out, no response coming from your shared bedroom. he tiptoed down the hallway, in the process noticing a plate of freshly made eggs and orange juice that he assumed had been made not so long before placed on the table, running back and taking a few bites from it. after entering the bedroom he saw a lump of blankets on the bed, your head peaking out, hair messy and eyes heavy, ready to close any second. he climbed into bed, stroking your hair with delicate touches. “thank you for making me breakfast.” he whispered after pulling the covers higher on his body aswell, knowing well he could not get you out of bed anytime soon, going with the flow and promising himself to finish the meal you made. not even a second later he heard your little snores, not having a chance to invite you to join him for the meal. he sighed playfully in disbelief at your antics of going to sleep faster than light. “we will postpone breakfast then. rest well, babyboo.”

. ˚ like a supernova
requested by anon: "Hello!! Can I please ask for fluffy and soft and comforting DK? (I was reeling from Betelgeuse)"
pairing: photographer!dokyeom x gn!reader
genre: fluff, established relationship, non-idolverse, kinda roadtrip?, the author is in love with the sky
word count: 1879
warnings: pet names (love, darling), kisses
notes: would recommend listening to dk's cover of betelgeuse while listening, along with txt's hydrangea love and ab6ix dandelion <3
summary: "do you want to go on a trip?" seokmin had asked, all soft and fond with lights twinkling in his eyes that afternoon, and there was no way you would have been able to refuse.
You roll down the window, poking your head out before abruptly reeling yourself in. The air is cold on your skin, raising goosebumps along your arms and making you shiver. Seokmin glances over at you, concerned, but you just smile, reaching over to interlace his fingers, palms and heart warm.
“How much longer?” is all you ask, and Seokmin smiles.
“Not much longer,” he murmurs, bringing your interlaced hands upwards to kiss your knuckles, before going back to looking at the road.
After a moment of staring at his side profile, soft and muffled in the dark, you do too.
"Do you want to go on a trip?" Seokmin had asked, all soft and fond with lights twinkling in his eyes that afternoon, and there was no way you would have been able to refuse.
It’s why you are where you are right now, in the car, on the road to somewhere, the sky velvet navy over your heads and yellow street lamps lighting your way, like some sort of glittering fairy trail.
Everything feels endless, like hours and hours are passing, or like it’s stopped, like the seconds ticking by on your watch have simply ceased to move anymore. You’re not entirely sure. The world is dimmed, and the air is so cold that you have to roll the window back up, but Seokmin’s hand is warm in yours, and that’s really all you need.
Seconds, or perhaps years, pass, before Seokmin eventually veers off the abandoned road, and you disappear into the trees.
“How much longer?” you ask again, and he looks over at you, sparkles in his eyes.
“Almost.”
And then you’re emerging out of the woods, and he smiles as your eyes widen.
The entire universe has opened up before you, the sky yawning and stretching contentedly, the land rolling leisurely for miles and miles. The longer you stare, the more there are little lights winking down at you, smiling as teasingly and adoringly as your boyfriend is smiling at you right now.
“Do you like it?” Seokmin asks, as if he’d been the one to painstakingly hang up all the stars in the sky for you to see, unbuckling his seatbelt and leaning over to do the same for you.
You can’t answer, too busy staring up at the sky, barely even registering when Seokmin gets out of the car, walking over to your side and opening the door for you to get out. “It’s… it’s beautiful,” is all you can say, and Seokmin chuckles.
“Just like you.”
The sky continues to reveal itself to you, as Seokmin sets up his equipment, as you lean back in the fold-up chairs that he’d brought, as you breathe in the clean countryside air and marvel at the natural landscape before you.
Not a sound is uttered by the world, save for the ones you make yourself, with the creaking of chairs and the shutter of Seokmin’s camera and the sound of you both breathing. Your attention is captured by the stars, as if the stars are the photographer and your awe is the picture, being captured and held in their glittering embrace endlessly.
“Y/N, love?”
Seokmin smiles when you finally look at him, and his eyes are glittering too, mesmerising and warm. He has his camera in his hands, and gestures to the open field.
“Can I photograph you?”
The universe truly was showing you her best side tonight, the moon little more than a silver sliver in the sky, shy and gentle and beautiful, the entire sky nothing more than a gorgeously soft expanse of dark and rich fabric, little gold threads delicately sewn into it.
You look over at Seokmin, looking over to where he has his camera up to his eyes, before laughing, shy, and having to look away.
It’s dark, because of course it is—you’re out in the middle of the countryside, with no artificial light for miles—but Seokmin’s smile, even behind his camera, is radiant, like he’s kept part of the sun’s brightness in his smile, wonderful and golden and looking perfectly in place within the beauty of the universe surrounding you.
“Beautiful,” is all Seokmin says, and when he lowers the camera you can see his eyes too, eyes that have turned into crescents that still, still sparkle so warmly.
“I know,” you say, tilting your head up again. “They really are beautiful.”
He laughs: a soft, adoring sound that drifts and carries in the silent night air. “You really, really are.”
Seokmin carries on taking his photos, some for his clients, some for himself, and you sit there on the grass, watching him, watching the sky, watching the world slowly, slowly continue moving.
Eventually he flops down beside you, lying on his back, but the camera keeps making shuttering sounds as he continues to take pictures of the universe above you.
You lie down too, nudging your hand against his arm, and he makes a playful noise in annoyance.
“Just a couple more,” he says, the camera still on his eyes.
And then he takes it away, simply looking up at the sky without the camera filtering the images, and smiles. Seokmin looks over at you, eyes bright.
“Don't you think this is the best trip ever?” he asks, and you laugh.
“The best,” you agree, shuffling over to rest your head on his shoulder, him immediately putting an arm around you to pull you against him. “I didn’t know there were so many stars in the sky.”
“Me neither,” he says, fingers mindlessly trailing up and down your upper arm. “Hey, do you know any constellation names?”
You hum thoughtfully, adjusting yourself against him. “Sure I do.”
“Really?”
“Yep.” You point upwards at the sky, at a small cluster of stars. “Do you see that constellation there? The one with one star a little higher up to the right and two in a horizontal line under it?”
“Where?”
“There. Those three stars.”
“Oh!” Seokmin rests his palm, warm and gentle, against your skin. “Which one’s that?”
You lower your arm, grinning. “It’s called: ‘Junhui’s face moles’.”
Seokmin is silent for a long moment, before promptly pinching your arm, making you chuckle softly. “I really thought you knew constellations for a second there.”
“Of course I don’t.” You shift around in his arms to look up at him, tracing a light finger down his nose. “You’re the only and most beautiful constellation of stars that I know.”
He smiles, leaning down to press a kiss to your forehead. “That doesn’t even make sense.”
“Well, it does to me.”
That makes him laugh, an endeared exhale, kissing your forehead again. “Well, actually, I know a couple of constellation names too.”
You quirk an eyebrow, amused. “You do?”
“Yeah.” It’s Seokmin’s turn to point upwards, a long finger tracing a shape of stars, outlining a cluster of them that look a little brighter than the others. “See that one?”
“Mhm?”
He looks at you. “What does that one look like?”
You tilt your head to the side, shuffling further into him. “Um. I don’t know.”
“It looks like two people hugging, duh,” he says, as if it was obvious, and you laugh. “It’s called the ‘you and me’ constellation.”
“The ‘you and me’ constellation?” you repeat, smiling, endeared by his adorable naming of constellations, taking his hand from where it’s still pointing to the sky and interlacing your fingers together and bringing them downwards to rest on his chest. “That’s cool.”
Seokmin nods, grinning. “Exactly. Anyone who looks at that constellation, if they resonate strongly with the constellation of two people hugging, can call it theirs. The ‘you and me’ constellation.”
“That’s very sweet.”
Silence descends once more. Seokmin taps the fingers of one hand against your arm, the other warm and secure in yours. The grass is cold, and definitely a little damp, but neither of you notice, too absorbed in the way the universe seems to be painting a beautiful landscape just for you.
You look up at Seokmin, who still has his eyes fixed on the sky. His mouth is slightly parted in wonder, eyes wide, side profile as beautiful as ever, and it makes you smile.
“Seokmin?”
Seokmin’s lips automatically lift into a smile at the sound of his name, and he looks down at you. “Yes, darling?”
“Did you know the closest red supergiant to Earth is called Betelgeuse?”
Seokmin’s eyebrows raise upwards, surprised. “I did. How did you know that?”
You grin. “Research.”
His face softens, laughing. “You searched it up while I was taking photographs, weren’t you?” He kisses you on the nose, lightly. “Betelgeuse is also one of the brightest stars in our sky. It’s going to become a supernova really soon.”
“Wait, really?”
Seokmin nods, looking back up at the sky. “It’s not even that old. But even so, the Earth will probably still be around to see it go supernova. It’ll become the brightest light in our sky for several days.”
“Wow.” You look around at the sky, trying to see if you can see which one is Betelgeuse, but they all twinkle even more, as if intentionally attempting to confuse you, so you give up. “It’s incredible, actually. Our Earth being able to exist at the same time as such a phenomenon.”
Seokmin smiles. “Like you and me.”
You blink. “The constellation?”
“What? No,” Seokmin chuckles, “not the constellation.” He squeezes your interlaced hands, once. “Like Seokmin and Y/N. The fact we found each other, were pulled towards each other, in this same lifetime. Under this sky.”
Seokmin looks at you, and his eyes are soft, soft with indescribable emotions, as beautiful and endless as the universe expanding above you. It makes you smile, heart melting, fragile and yet safe in his hands.
“I don’t think there will ever be a lifetime where we don’t find each other,” you say. “I promise. In fact, I’ll make sure of it.”
He grins, face positively glowing with love, and he really is the most beautiful constellation of stars you’ve ever seen. “Have I told you I love you?”
You laugh, lifting yourself upwards slightly to smile down at him. “Hmm, no, I don’t think you have.”
“In which case, I love you.”
His mouth is warm on yours, the kiss light and sweet. When you pull away, he’s still grinning and glowing and looking like the stars in human form.
“Say it again,” you say, and he smiles impossibly wider.
“I love you.”
It’s him that leans up to kiss you this time, a fluttery, silvery thing, and now you’re smiling too, the fingers of one hand still interlaced with his, the other cupping his face. You hum, pleased, and kiss him once more.
“I love you too.”
Far away, somewhere up in the stars that you can’t identify, there’s Betelgeuse, shining brightly down on you, light years away and never-ending. At least, in your lifetime. But that supergiant, that star, isn’t the biggest and most beautiful star you’ve ever seen.
Oh, no.
That title belongs to your boyfriend.
And under this same sky, when he shines, he’ll do it with you, holding your hand, kissing you gently and promising you the entire world.
In every lifetime, in every universe.

chapter two
---
“If you go now, you’ll be burned to a crisp.”
Your father’s admonishments were already fading as you ran out the door of your house into the main road, a beaten strip of dirt that twisted down the hill toward your village. You weren’t following it today—your feet carried you weightlessly across the grass toward the fields where the men were working. You could hear their songs rising into the midsummer sky, baked by the sun and perfumed with the thousands of wildflowers that whipped at your legs as you ran.
Maintaining a fair complexion was the furthest thing from your mind. Even as you ran, a giggle was bubbling up inside of you—your mind raced with thoughts of running through the cut rows of hay, chasing the barn dogs and splashing through the narrow streams that wound over the fields. At this time of day, the men would be eating their lunches and singing and laughing together. You’d find a place to sit where the shade was cool, and steal a bit of bread and listen to them talk of the seasons changing and what weather the mountain god has sent and of the fruit groves beginning to ripen.
You jumped across a narrow stream bank, your toes digging into the soft cool mud. You were invisible, another skinny dirt-smeared child, a nuisance underfoot, unimportant. Nothing like your father, with his stiff shirts and his frown that never seemed to go away. And when the weather was cold, you’d have to stay indoors and act the same way. But when it was summer, you were free.
It was a long while before you stopped crying. When your tears ran out, you realized that you were cold. Freezing.
So you brushed yourself off and wiped your eyes, and began to wander. You could barely feel your feet in the dewy grass as you explored the wall, and all the paths, retracing every step you had taken when you first arrived. Nothing was changed. You suspected nothing had changed for a long, long time—except for the ivy that grew over everything, long and wild and untamed.
Somewhere the sun was shining, you just knew it. That place seemed so far away now.
Following the wall, you arrived at the door you had noticed before. It was a huge, thick door of wooden planks wrought together with iron in delicate, careful work. It was painted in the bright, vivid royal colors of blue and red like your temples back home, but the architecture felt foreign. No doubt humanmade, though whatever humans had built this place were likely long gone, honored guests in the halls of the gods for their service. That sounded like a nice fate.
You reached out with freezing fingers, testing the handle with a few careful pushes. It was unlocked, creaking gently from the pressure of your touch. Your heart leapt in your chest, whether from hope or fear you could hardly say.
The idea of leaving this beautiful, awful garden filled your next decision with confidence: you pushed at the door, letting it swing heavily on its hinges inward to reveal a passage laid before you. It was lit with countless touches, a warm living glow, rivaled by the blue wash that poured through tall windows covered in silk screens that bent the moonlight into rippling shapes on the floor. The high-ceilinged hallway led deeper into what looked like some sort of keep built with the same pale stone and subtle finery. Narrowing your eyes, you followed the hallway with your gaze until it turned a corner and disappeared. For a moment you wondered how deep it went, and if it ever ended at all.
You held the door open, stealing one last glance at the garden you had awoken in. The warmth of the palace beckoned you silently like a lover’s breath, warming your skin as you stood before its open, waiting mouth. Whether it was better to embrace it or to stay in this frozen garden, there was no way to tell.
But you were only human, after all. Your tired, shivering frame defeated the logic of your mind and carried you inside the palace, shutting the door behind you.
With the heavy wooden doors firmly closed, the silence that closed around you was changed. Instead of the whisper of wind and the rustling of trees, a profound quiet had settled among the gentle crackle of the torches. You walked forward, your gaze following the shifting light of the windows as they reached up toward the cavernous ceiling. Trapped inside the screens were even more painstaking brushstrokes—countless scenes and characters and words you couldn’t even begin to fully absorb, unrolling like a map before you. Though you did not understand them, you knew they told a story older than the bones of the mountain you stood on.
The mountain. Your thoughts wandered with every step, growing more and more tangible as your panic subsided. Though you had never left your valley and traveled the mountains, the stories you had heard were endless. Miles of trees taller than the shaman’s greatest temples, their thick canopies and strangled branches providing shadowed hiding places for all manner of creatures. Clever, illusory dokkaebi, beautiful gumiho and dragons as long as the rivers that ran though your valley. The gods lived among the clouds because humans could not tread there—it was the danger of the mountains that became their sanctuaries, their temples, their altars. The patron god of your valley was no different, it seemed.
You thought of all the saints that had journeyed to visit the gods, holy pilgrimages and acts of human hubris alike. What made them favorable in the eyes of the gods? Where they pure by their own merit, or were they chosen just like you were? What distinguished sacrifice from honored guest?
You reached out with a hand, tracing the delicate pictures that covered the windows, feeling the texture of their rich history under your fingertips. Someone had made this, whether it was a human or some godly craftsman. They had always been here, even as you had lived every day blissfully, miles below. Maybe they had been waiting for you. Maybe, if you looked hard enough, you would find your own image wrought in silk among them.
Was it right that you were exploring like this? The god had given you no directions, no quarters of your own. Maybe the garden was meant to be your prison—but then, why would the door be left open, as if to invite you inside?
Before you could finish the thought, the hallway suddenly ended. It opened up into a wide room with a ceiling that climbed cavernously above your head. The small torches had become great copper and iron sconces, their flames leaping high and hot around you. Pillars of regal red, blue and green rose around you. Every wall was draped in silk paintings of unmatchable beauty and detail, mountains and fields and distant lands in countless strokes of paint. You stopped at the threshold, your heart pounding at the size of it, following each carefully laid stone with your eyes until they settled on an image set into the floor at the center of the great room.
It was wrought in stone, jade and lacquer, a glittering compilation of what must have taken years of tiny fragments and deliberate precision. Like the rest of this mysterious place, a significant story was clearly illustrated, another you did not know. You approached, kneeling to inspect it thoroughly, your pulse roaring in your chest.
Thirteen figures in a ring, each emanating holy light outward till the sunbeams of glass and stone reached the walls in every direction. Some of their faces were visible, simply illustrated but nevertheless breathtakingly beautiful. Below each one, a name had been written in ancient tongue. They were all different, each adorned in their own flowing hanbok and bearing items that you could recognize—a scale, three birds, a jug of water, a human skull…
They were all gods. Patrons of their own domains, but connected in this ring together, nonetheless.
You inspected each one with awe, until one captured all your attention. One whose face was not depicted—instead it was covered in a veil of white, pinned in place by a long arrow pierced through his chest. At his feet was a lantern, illuminating his pale hanbok even in mosaic form. It was impossible not to recognize him.
Your mountain god, and captor. The name below his feet was written in the way of the gods, but you could read it. Seokmin. Patron god of love.
You had heard his name before. A whispered name of reverence toward your valley’s provider and protector. The priestesses had described him as an affectionate god, a god of plenty and vitality… and the desires of men, fleshly love, lust. Seokmin was the name they prayed to when they offered sacrifices to him. Sacrifices like you.
But even still… what a simple name. Beautiful, even. You sat on the floor in that strange place, tears still crackling on your cheeks, and you tried to fit that name to whoever had spoken to you in the garden. The soft, musical voice, the subtle lisp, like he was any other man. You tried to imagine the other gods calling to him by that name, like he was a friend, or a brother, a name called in affection instead of fear and reverence.
Your thumb traced the smooth, prismatic lacquer that made up the picture’s veil. Being burdened with a thing such a love, it was little wonder that he covered his face. Was it beauty or monstrosity that he hid? If you were meant to be here forever, which would be worse?
Cry if you must, he had said. You’ll have no use for your tears here any longer.
It did not matter if this god was beautiful, or monstrous, or both. If he cared for you, it was the love a farmer would show an injured calf—whether he nursed you or drove a axe through your neck was entirely at the whim of what was most convenient. And what were humans to gods, anyway? Cattle? Vermin?
You had returned to taking in the picture laid before you when the silence was broken by a distant voice. It drifted into the chamber, quietly at first, buzzing at your ears like the tickle of breath. Singing.
When the sound first reached your ears, you weren’t sure it was a voice at all. It hummed ambiently like the echo of a bell ringing, one note resounding weightlessly from wall to stone wall forever into silence. Then you heard the following notes, as quiet as an exhale and colored delicately in the timbre of a tender, male voice.
If there were words, you didn’t catch them, as much as you found yourself straining to listen. Each phrase of music ended in a soft vibrato, a hauntingly perfect run of notes, no breath misplaced. The cavernous palace around you seemed to still in response to the distant lullaby, as if the stones themselves were settling into slumber. It left a haze of warmth over your mind, your lungs loosening in a deep, easy breath as the music poured over your senses.
For the first time since you arrived, you felt your body relax. Something like joy was blooming in your chest, though you didn’t understand it. Even as you wiped the remains of your tears from your face, you felt a renewed urge to cry.
You thought again of the sun-soaked grain fields and fragrant meadows you used to run through as a child, from a valley you would never see again. You thought of the taste of fresh summer fruit warm from the vine, and the farm dogs that followed at your heels, and the freedom of being far from your village in the hidden oases beyond the valley that only you knew. If those memories were a song, you thought it would sound just like this.
Warm tears dripped down to your chin, and you held your cheeks gently in your own palms. As each phrase echoed to silence before the next, you found yourself hoping desperately that each note was not the last.
After a moment you stood, curiosity overcoming your stunned senses. Though the voice was distant, you could follow the echo of it down one of the corridors that lead from this central place. It was impossible to tell just how large this palace was, but there were no doors locked to you, and he had given no instruction not to explore.
Following the music led you through a side passage, the floorboards soft under your bare feet as you passed through a moonlit courtyard with a glittering pond. You walked for a while, unsure of the reason why, as if your legs moved on their own accord.
Your heart thudded a warning in your chest, a human instinct that was completely eclipsed by the sound of the music now growing louder in your ears as you ventured deeper into the palace. Every note was sweeter and warmer than the last, as strange and quiet as a secret that only you and the walls of this place knew. Your path took you through the courtyard, lush grass cushioning your every step as you wove deeper into the beautiful, ornate labyrinth before you.
I just want to hear it, you told yourself. He won’t have to know where I am.
Your steps were light and silent as you finally turned a corner and reached a wide, closed door. Testing the handle, you found it was also unlocked—but several other things caught your attention before you even opened the door.
You noticed the smell first. The fragrance of flowers and rich green growth—similar to the garden you had come from, now made even more inviting by the warmth of being indoors. It was thick and intoxicating in your nose, a welcome change from the rain-soaked stones and the chill of cold.
The knob was turning before you realized. As the door opened, you caught a glimpse of rows of glass windows covered in vibrant screens, and a chamber glittering with moonlight, and more flowers than you could count—and then the music stopped.
You shut the door with a silent gasp, your heart leaping all the way to your throat. You waited there, hoping against hope that the singing would continue… but silence fell heavy and profound over the entire palace. Even the trees stopped rustling outside. Your minds’ eye was still reeling at the glimpse of what was behind the door, all the green that seemed so much warmer than the garden outside. Like it was alive with a soul. Like it had seen you, too.
You contemplated running, but where would you run to? What would you be running from?
You had just drawn your hand away from the door when the sound of soft footfalls reached your ears—footsteps like the ones you heard in the garden, but quieter. And closer.
It was pointless to run. You know that he was everywhere, his grip closed entirely around you in this place. You found yourself running anyway, away from the ornate door, from that haunting voice, back through the passages that had led you here…
Your first act of disobedience. And with eternity stretching before you, you knew it would not be the last.

Let's see what I can do hear... Hmmm
_____________________________________________
I'm Daniel a basic guy walking back from collage, skinny, long blond hair, oversized hoodie, sweats and an old pair of sneakers
I took a shortcut back to the apartment, the path is a mostly unused messy road behind the first houses
As I walk past I notice something strange, a suitcase covered in dirt on the side of the road,
Since no one's around, I go to explore it, I open the case, I'm suddenly enveloped in the strong smell of grass, dirt, bo, beer and cum?. I look inside to find a mangled football kit , a jock strap, socks, tights, shorts , jersey, helmet, padding , a pair of cleats and wait... Is that a unopen bottle of beer?
Damn, why would this be hear? These items are expensive, dk why it would be hear, it's well used too . But smells rank, the beer is strange to.
I look around, no one's around, and cars don't normally go this way.
Fuck it, I'm trying this on. My heart's beating with excitement. Iv always been curious to what the kit feels like, since I never did sports
Let's hope it fits
Next to wall on the side of the road I start to strip and try on the kit,
The socks are crusty and hard on the soal, the jock in hard as rock, the strap Is crusty, all smells of a cum and sweat, I continued, the tights sloppily go, then the padding, straps, shoulder armour, gloves , jersey, then then the cleats, the kit doesn't fit very well and now I reak of cum and sweat, I decide to open up the beer bottle and talk a gulp, for the full experience
Suddenly I felt warm, my entire body was burning up, I felt dizzy , I start to shake and go blank
My body is slowly growing and gaining muscle, the leg muscles now tree trunks fell out the tights and socks to the max, my stomach goes hard with washboard cum gutter abs, hard pecks with a huge chest, my arms bloom and harden into mountains, and shoulders expand all filling out the Jersey and armour, tight as hell, the gloves now squeeze my now rugged hand, all scrapped and hardened from the gym and the field ,
My neck thickens and hardens , my chin and jaw change into a more jocklike shape, with a chinstrap beard, my hair changes into a pretty boy qwaf.
The feet now fully fit the cleats, almost to much
Finally, my body. Moves to put chug the beer and put on the healmet
When that happened, I go fully blank
My dick is now hard as a rock now 12 inches and the size of a beer can, my mind starts to change my thoughts are going into my golf ball balls. I start to jerk of hard
I drool, my memories change into me always being a jock, a football jock, majored in sports and on the team, me and the bros play ball and fuck pussy, ehe. We chuck beers and fuck pussy, and fuck eachother, no homo bro... Ehhee
Yeah broo
I am a ...
I ..a .m a .... Foo.t ball..
Bro, I am
I am a dumb football jock, ,
I Burst, globs of cum on the wall, my old self now gone, I cum some more, and I cum some more, incredibly horny. My mind starts to returns, now my fully formed jock self
Woah.. broo, that was a big load, gotta tell de bros bout dis one hehe.
I put my dick back into my jock and secure the pants.
Damn im still so horny . Im gon a..
I cum again inside jock strap, pooling up and dripping down my leg ,
Eheh I need to find a bro or a vag before I waste it all
Glad I have this beer with me .hehe, I chug the rest and throw it away into a pile of clothes on the road.
Damn someone going stripping?, Sounds like a blast
At that, my dick still hard, I go to the locker room for some... Help
I am Dan ,a dumb football jock bro . Heheh
Don't you forget it bro

guardian angel ⋆ zhang hao
◜✧◞ SYNOPSIS ─ thank god that he appeared at the right time.
◜✧◞ PAIRING ─ zhang hao x male!reader
◜✧◞ GENRE ─ i honestly dk.
◜✧◞ WARNINGS ─ mentions of sexual harassment.
y/n assumes he was too wasted that night.
whenever he tries to think about it, everything comes back as a blur and nothing more. he can't remember anything past picking up the first drink and then whatever else happened was like some memory his mind was blocking.
he doesn't even remember the unfortunate situation he found himself in.
if getting lost in ricky's house wasn't enough, y/n was lucky enough to be abandoned by hanbin, whatever he was doing, probably being dragged away by his thousands of fans.
so here y/n was, drunk and giggling in a corner as he observed everyone who looked like blurry entities before him. he was so caught up in everything that he barely noticed or caught what anyone was saying or doing.
"why are you all alone?"
the voice which asks that question sounds so rough and unkempt that y/n wonders in his wasted mind how anyone like that was at a party like this. the guy's face doesn't even register in his mind, maybe he was just that disgusting.
"i was abandoned by my friends".
"aww, poor you".
despite being so drunk he'd probably fall in the middle of a road and lie there, y/n knew this guy had no good intentions. he slightly shifts away as he sees him try to reach for his hand in his peripheral vision.
curse you, sung hanbin, why the fuck did you leave me alone?
"see, i'm not in the mood for this".
"for what?"
y/n seriously cannot handle whatever stupidity is coming out of this man's mouth, even in his drunken state, he could see what bad intentions he had. he takes a breath, trying his best to stand up.
"please just leave me alone" he starts, shaking his head. he's barely able to get off the wall before the guy grabs his arm, much to his shock.
"what the fuck— let me go" he grunts, trying to pull his arm away, but the guy had this strong ass grip and just wouldn't let go. "what is your problem?"
"what? you don't want to talk to me? maybe i could take you home, and we could have fu—"
"okay, fuck no, i told you to leave me alone!" y/n emphasizes his tone by making sure to yell the last word, still trying to escape his grip, but that just made the grip on his arm tighten.
"why do you keep trying to go? we all know you want it—"
"no, he doesn't, he actually told you to leave him alone" a voice from behind him makes the guy turn around, which distracts him long enough to finally let y/n out of his grasp.
he looks down at his arm, a red mark growing visible from where the guy had held just a few seconds prior. he doesn't look up to see him, rubbing his arm to make sure it's okay.
"he told you twice actually" said mystery boy told, making the guy shrivel up with his amazing composure despite looking so intimidating. "are you illiterate? or were just too caught up in your bruised ego you couldn't handle a single no?"
the questions are asked so calmly that even y/n can't believe someone like that is at an event like this. he glances up and catches his gaze. the boy blinks and simply smiles at him.
he wore a white blazer under a black sweater, his expression so calm that the creepy guy almost trembled under his gaze.
he whistles, placing a hand on his shoulder. "you should watch your mouth, don't wanna say the wrong thing to the wrong person".
the guy simply nods, quickly going away as the boy pays no care to him, looking back to y/n. "are you okay?" he asks, gaze softening as he gazes at him.
that's what y/n notices the mole under his eye.
holy shit he's so pretty—
"yeah, i'm fine" he lies, mind still jumbled since he was so drunk. "just.. i don't know— i'm drunk and there's flashing lights everywhere, not the best combination.."
the pretty boy nods. "i agree".
y/n groans, covering his face with his hands once again. he leans against the wall, taking in a deep breath. "i'm so sorry, hanbin left me alone and—"
"as in sung hanbin?"
"um.. yeah" y/n is still dazed, but he hears the boy shift closer. he helps y/n get on his feet, and wraps an arm around his waist, pulling him closer. "wait.. what are you doing?"
the mystery boy clears his throat. "you said sung hanbin is your friend, so i'll take you to him" he says calmly. y/n's arm wraps around his waist almost subconsciously, since he can barely stand.
"you know where he is?"
"he isn't exactly hard to miss".
y/n blinks, his vision still blurry. he doesn't know why the boy is adamant on helping him, but he then realizes that he was just being a good human being.
he doesn't come across a lot of people like this.
y/n finds himself staring for an unrecognizable amount of time. he notices that the boy seems to have this kind of power, because people make way for him as he goes hanbin's way, his only focus being taking y/n back to his friend.
he doesn't even notice he's back with hanbin until he hears that familiar gasp of his. the pretty stranger lets go of him.
"oh my god! y/n! i'm so sorry for abandoning you but i got dragged into a mess and then matthew started throwing up— thank you so much hao".
he pulls y/n into the tightest hug ever, making him yelp as he disconnects from the boy, the one he now knows as hao. he looks at him as he feels hanbin start kissing his cheek like he always does.
"it's nothing" hao whispers, adjusting his sweater sleeve. "saw some weirdo trying to grab him and he said he came with you, i knew where to take him".
hanbin looks to y/n, then to hao, blinking. y/n tries to get out of his grasp, and frowns as he feels hanbin kiss his cheek again. "thank you" he whispers.
hao just nods, placing his hands behind his back. "i have to go find ricky, he wanted me to help him with something" he mumbles, he smiles at the two, but especially at y/n, as he turns around to go find his blonde haired friend.
hanbin turns to y/n, looking at him like he just did something insane. "why were you looking at him like that?"
y/n, still drunk, looks at hanbin with wide eyes and a red face. "like what?"
"like you were utterly in love".
y/n pushes his best friend away, crossing his arms as he pouts. "hanbin! i just met him!"
"and what— love at first sight exists!"
"ugh shut up!"
y/n aggressively hits hanbin on the shoulder for the rest of the party.

Dying at the mevie and minlyn shipping wars comment from an earlier ask 🤣 pls I can imagine the “I was rights” once mevie is public news
What are the top mevie ships (in and out of svt)?
What members of svt are shipped with evie vs. what members are pretty much recognized as platonic only by carats overall?
Members that are shipped the most with Evie:
Mingyu and Evie of course are the big ship in the fandom. It all started way back during 17TV in the little interview room, Mingyu had mentioned that he had seen a 'Very Pretty Girl' earlier in the day and that he hadn't seen her before. At first it went unnoticed because of the small amount of fans, but down the road, fans were speculating that he was talking about Evelyn. In the earlier years of Evelyn joining, they were always casually hanging off of each other, hugging randomly, and hold each other's hand unconsciously and that's what started the fans shipping. (if only they knew)
Vernon and Evie were a popular ship back in the earlier years of when she joined the group. In 2018's TTT, she rode in Jeonghan's car, where she sat in between Dk and Vernon. A little into the trip, she ended up falling asleep on Vernon's shoulder and he had made the comment that she looked "Cute" and ended up taking off his flannel and covering her up and fans took that and RAN with it.
Since Dk and Evie are so close with each other, they have always been shipped together. They were always sitting next to each other, calling each other during their lives, and their infamous 'ily. now say it back' to each other.
The other members don't really get shipped with her that heavily, especially the 95/96 liners. It’s more along the lines of taking care and watching out for each other.
[Also, I'm not sure that I understand the first question 😅... like evie's top ships outside svt?]
#the mevie shippers would go insane for sure#having all of the bragging rights#cafemilk-tea: evelyn#svt.meve#svt.verlyn#svt.minlyn#café.anons

Bracket D thoughts:
"This Day Aria" and "The Devil's Song" are both very good, but I ultimately decided I liked the latter more.
Damn, "The Executioner" goes hard. Although I get why it might not win, considering it's going against everyone's favorite revenge ballad.
ALL OF THE VILLAIN SONGS FROM THAT SERIES GO SO HARD, AND THIS IS NO EXCEPTION. I LOVE THIS PETTY PIECE OF SHIT AND HIS JAZZY TUNES.
Screw Hawk Moth, I'm voting for that Voltaire bop. It makes eating brains sound so fun!
Both of these are so good, but I decided to vote for "The Torture Tango" over "It Has To Be This Way" because I love the polyphonics at the end. Also it's one of those songs you appreciate a lot more with context ;)
Damn, I did not expect "Dentist" to have those vibes. I like it though.
"Ready As I'll Ever Be" has Jeremy Jordan singing about justice and I'm a noted sucker for that.
"Holding Out For A Hero" is an amazing cover and it's so gleefully ironic how she's basically rubbing it in everyone's faces that she's won when her downfall is approaching. Also that white guy rapping makes me cringe, sorry.
Watch the ending of "Our Love Is God" live and you'll get it. This is when the mask falls away and it becomes disturbingly clear who JD is and how much danger everyone--even Veronica--is in from him. As far as he's concerned, he's the asteroid and everyone else are the dinosaurs. That ending when he clutches Veronica and she frantically repeats "Our love is god" because she's terrified of what he'll do if she doesn't--fuck yeah. Macavity is also very good, but "Our Love Is God" is just really good narratively.
...Yeah the DK songs have been fun but not that good, sorry.
"A Professional Pirate" is a very fun jam, and also Monika is legally obliged to lose all the time.
WHO THE FUCK DOESN'T LIKE GREEK MYTHOLOGY CYBERPUNK NOIR TO THE TUNE OF "ROCKY ROAD TO DUBLIN." VOTE FOR "FAVORED SON" NOW.
I think my perception of the original has been ruined forever, so I voted for the surprisingly menacing "The Boys Are Back in Town (To Kill You)".
Octavio's beats fucking slap.
...I'm a filthy Homestuck, sue me.
"Cruella De Vil" is so jazzy.
I'm surprised you voted against This Day Aria. That's an MLP classic.
Not the Hawk Moth hate! He needs something after being beat by literal children so many times. I commend the bold move of releasing that song.
I agree that Ready As I'll Ever Be and Dentist are both amazing.

- august invited over bo leach, bodhi nadalin, and some person that didnt have a name but looked like el hanley to play some orgy game, aug was acting kind of weird the whole time and ended up going to bed. the vibes were very off and nameless chick dipped but i talked to bo and bodhi for a while, was trying to figure out if they were together or not. ended up making out with bodhi (felt v nice) and afterward he said a bunch of stuff about how he was glad we saw each other again and that he lives close and wants to hang out again soon. we were still living w/ aj somehow and they had a bunch of random ppl over i remember thinking i was glad i could prove i had other friends by having different ppl over even if they werent really. they were leaving and the other ppl were partying in the living room area and someone ended up giving me a drink so i sat down and hung out a little. it was this really tasty thick deep red cherry-cranberry vodka thing with a ball of hollow ice that had a little hole you could drink more beverage out of it from.
- dk if this was a continuation of the last one or not but walking through the city w a group of girls, being sort of dressed up everyone had on very avant garde fashion (one of them was cheyenne from water st? i dont remember the rest) and we ended up going to this art gallery that was all hallways with various forks in the road. got separated from half the group because they were basically sprinting through and not looking at anything. everything felt like it was moving very fast. came to another fork but on one side was this exhibit area w raised padded flooring and people sitting all around and a sign that said 'puppy naptime.' and. well. it was puppy naptime. there were a bunch of them and phoibe and mama kitty (not bean) were there also sleeping very sweetly and i was worried i would get in trouble for bringing my cats to puppy naptime. i saw a different very small very sleepy black and white dappled kitten and pet her a little bit. was no longer worried bc obv i was not the only one who brought cat. noticed this girl who had a necklace with a bunch of moss and a live snail on it and talked to her abt it and she said it was her pet and he just liked to sleep there too.
- again not sure if at all related but walking through these very bright almost uncanny paved suburban streets w you and coming across a house where you started telling me a story abt how you used to hang out with some boy there and the mom was wack and you would work on some sort of project that required these sharps and one day you accidentally brought some out with you and they (the parents) noticed and yelled at you and you were like little and scared of getting in trouble so you like ran back crying and put them back and were apologizing and then couldnt go back and hang out again. watching this memory play out in the driveway like a phantom in front of us. in present time next to the car in the foliage there were a bunch of varied types of blades and you said something along the lines of 'they feel awesome, btw' and there was one in particular i really wanted to take but we noticed that the people from the house were actually sitting in the car. left and walked the other way around the block to see if theyd leave, just sort of eavesdropped on them from around the corner. along the way there were various blades on the ground and in the little grass strips in front of driveways and i kept picking them up trying to see if they were sharp or new but they all were really flimsy or dull or covered in a weird waxy substances. you said something like 'my skin is thinner so you should just cut me instead' and it made me upset but i wasnt trying to show it and i said some upsetting shit i dont remember and you were like 'jesus christ, what the fuck' and got v distant didnt leave but sort of like hung back and did smth else. heard some sort of commotion from the people and saw the guy yelling at this fluffy, scrawny cat being like 'i hate that fuckin cat' and it ran over to us and i pet him and he was v malnourished and had fleas and scrapes and i felt v sad for him
- Really dont remember this one but some girl inviting us to go rock climbing and it was just this tiny room that was not even very tall and she was actively putting the rock wall together by just. nailing the holds into drywall in no particular order. no gear, no ropes. i was pissed. i remember yelling at her but i dont remember what i said

@koopzilla cont
Another relaxed sigh escaped him as the Koopa's tail pushed a slow wave towards him and the edges of the pool, causing a warm lip of water to splash up over his pecs and send him upwards slightly before the water's crash against the rock barrier lowered him again. Eyes closing in comfort, he half wondered what it would be like if the giant turtle did a cannon ball in the springs. There probably wouldn't be any springs left.
"Hm?!" He flinched slightly at the observation, though it was hard to be cautious when this relaxed. Had Bowser wanted to bathe alone?Well...technically it was his home, so he had dibs to the spot and was just sharing at this point. Plus his arm needed the extra TLC after its most recent and vicious injury. It was already healing awkwardly so, he didn't want to skip any sessions.
Scooting a look over to his company just in time to see the other stand in the deepest part of the springs, a mix of water and perspiration present on his scales, DK huffed...more fat or not, how did Bowser have nicer looking pectorals in the bad lighting? The thought made him grumpy and he screwed his eyes shut to try and ignore it, face reddening with extra heat. "I mean...I live here. Sooo..."
At the confirmation of the date he should save, he shrugs, eyes still rammed shut in indifference. "It's technically not mine to give up, is it?" Well, for now anyway. But at least that saved him an awkward conversation for now.
Though his eyes were curtained shut, the thought of Bowser's damn possible gains kept annoying him. The prevalent thought seemed to charge the light centered around his tummy under the water and it got brighter the longer he sweated over the fact. As his company took note, DK jerked to attention and glanced down, face heated when he noticed the light so close to the surface of the water. Sliding his injured arm in to soak, he used it to cover the pesky thing.
"Pfft!? You must be having some eye issues or something. It's all just the Rainbow Road shards." Waving his free hand dismissively, he kicked a little at the water.
"Huh...you're making things weird, y'know? Kinda wish the vibe around here was a little more chill." And though his stomach was covered, the light under his hand seemed to react to that statement with a brighter flash. Almost instantly, the springs began to bubble a lot more aggressively, jacuzzi style. When DK pulled his arms out again and scooted back, his shoulder bumped something cold. Upon further inspection, there it was - a cocktail glass with some sort of turquoise colored beverage inside, and of course a mini umbrella.
"...? Weird." He murmured to himself as he slid the glass over and gave it a few curious sniffs. "...I didn't order hot spring service..."

The Mario movie was good. Spoilers below.
Mario hating mushrooms is hilarious, peach is an amazing leader/princess, poor poor luigi getting frightened all the time then kidnapped, I love how the first trailer was just straight up the opening of the movie love when movies do just that and almost show nothing else, the toads each having their own voices of varying tones was cool, the Kong kingdom was pretty cool, and bowser was the best character.
Now I'm gonna go into specific thoughts.
I was CRINGING at the peaches song and DK being a fuckboi. The peaches song and final song had me cringing so badd (I covered my ears and closed my wyes. XD) Also like my bf was all like "DK has always been a fuckkboi" and im just like WHAT?? Glad I never paid attention before I guess. XD
Seeing the bros as babies was adorable, so was seeing a not crying baby peach. Seeing peach and Mario slowly get along and closer was cute (I kinda hope it'll be, if they make more, a friendship rather than relationship). The Luma was both cute and terrifying as well.
Now I know I know, never expect anything with a kids film, BUT I wish the bowuigi bits were a bit longer OR we at least got a luigi peach switcheroo. I also wish we saw the koopalings/kids, even just a glimpse somewhere (if we did let me know where please).
I want to say when watching it my bf and I were discussing how "well" the kongs must drive with them being a kart based community, and right after he said "they must not crash/have very many issues with these extravagant road" we watch the dude driving the gang drop a banana in front of another dude with no repercussions. XD
ENDING SPOILERS BELOW
Also I want to say the ending, it didn't end the way I thought it would. I thought when the bullet would hit the pipe it would explode inside and destroy the portal keeping everyone in the mushroom/etc world and the bros would need to just accept their sacrifice for the kingdoms. The ending itself was cool, gave a nice ending to Mario and DK's daddy issues.
With my final thought, I hope above hope that this will allow us to get a Luigi's mansion movie or 1 season show.
