I think I posted in my notes that reader is morally grey. So she’s not exactly dark, or evil, but she’s not purely good.

The morally grey part doesn’t apply to her work, because sex work is work, period, but she knows what Cassandra does to people. And she knows that Cassandra uses her to get to them. She rationalizes it because she’s doing it to survive.
